Is the Cleanse Fit 1800 trial by Clearly Fit Labs a scam?

Is the Cleanse Fit 1800 trial by Clearly Fit Labs a scam?

Detoxing and cleansing are two buzz words that everyone seems to be using in the weight loss community.

Unfortunately despite being proven to aid weight loss, by removing stored waste and toxins there are a few products that should be avoided, such as those being offered as a trial.

Cleanse Fit 1800, which is made by Clearly Fit Labs on the surface looks like a good product, however there is a growing number of people making claims that it is a scam.

Are these claims accurate or is this supplement the real deal? Let us look at Cleanse Fit 1800 in more detail to see which view is correct.

Claimed benefits of Cleanse Fit 1800

The following claims have been made on the Cleanse Fit 1800 website:

  • Flush away excess weight
  • Remove toxins
  • Increase energy
  • Look and feel better

Each of these claims are realistic if the ingredients found in this supplement are up to scratch. However before we can comment any further we would first need to look at what ingredients have been used to make this supplement.

Ingredients found in Cleanse Fit 1800

Cleanse Fit 1800 contains 1800 mg of a proprietary formula containing the following ingredients:

Fennel Seed, Cascara Sagrada, Ginger, Goldenseal, Pumpkin Seed, Buckthorne Root, Licorice Root, Rhubarb, Citrus Pectin, Acidophilus, Cape Aloe, Bentonite Clay, Aloe Vera, Cayenne Pepper, Senna, Oat Bran, Prune Juice, and Flax Seed Oil.

These are all natural ingredients that promise to produce gentle but powerful results.

Cost of Cleanse Fit 1800

The big issue with Cleanse Fit 1800 is the cost of the trial as it is likely to cost more than you bargained.

Initially you will only have to pay $3.95, which is to cover the cost of shipping and handling. However as a trial you may be unaware that after the 14 day trial has ended you will be charged the full purchase price of $84.95.

This information is handily hidden away in the terms and conditions along with the fact that you will be charged this price every month thereafter until your membership to this auto ship program is cancelled.

For some this could lead you to suffer significant monetary losses.

Is Cleanse Fit 1800 a scam?

Trial offers have a bad name and are often called scams. It is no surprise really when the true cost of the trial is hidden away in the T&Cs.

If an offer seems to good to be true then it probably is, which is why trial offers such as this should be avoided.

Alternative to Cleanse Fit 1800

If you want to cleanse your body of those built up toxins don’t waste your time with any trial offers. Instead you would be better off trying a product such as Detox Plus, which is available to buy from the Evolution Slimming website for just $31.

As this supplement is available to buy without having to sign up for any auto ship program you can relax knowing you are not going to be charged over the odds every month.

  1. Clearly fit labs is most definitely a scam. I just called to find out if I would be charged for the bottles and was told I would be charged over $85 per bottle. Then when I asked to return them, I was told it would be a restocking fee and a shipping fee per bottle. Then when I asked to speak to a superior, I was told he was the only one in the office and he didn’t know his superiors last name.
Save your money and your time. Stay away from Clearly fit labs.

    • I just recently ordered these as well. I was unaware that I would be charged so much per bottle. I had to block my credit card to prevent such transactions and am hoping it works. Do NOT purchase this product. It is a scam.

          • I just found out about the additional charges as well. Ad is very deceived. Sucks, b/c the products actually seem to work. I canceled my card as well & there is no way in hell I’m going to return and PAY a restock fee after such deception. They can suck it!

    • Most definitely it’s a scam they don’t give you but 14 days to try it and you don’t receive it for 4 days! How do you know if something going to work. They have already hit my bank account before I could try it. Go to the health food store!!!

    • I agree!

My bank just called me on a Sunday night questioning ‘suspicious activity’ on my account. I called Clearly Fit and revoked my membership (that I wasn’t even aware I had!). Since the product hadn’t shipped as yet, I was told my credit card would be refunded. I let them know that I, too, was recording the phone call and that if I do not get my refund or if ANY further charges were placed on my credit card that my bank would be contacting them regarding fraudulent charges.

Not only did the product NOT work, the company scams you out of your money.

Do NOT deal with this company! It is a rip off and a scam!

  3. Don’t purchase the product. I purchased it and called in an hour to cancel and I was told I could not cancel. I had to wait until I recived my trial product and then ship it back and pay a high restocking fee pluss shipping and that I needed to give it a try. The 14 day trial starts not from the time you receive the product, but from the time you order so you don’t have 14 days to try the product. I received the product and did not realize that if I canceled within the 14 day trial period, I still had to pay for the product or return it with shipping fees and restocking fees that were quite high. Basically you are not getting the trial for only $3.95. It’s going to cost you a lot more. I felt I was decieved.

    • The product is a scam. When you call to cancel they tell you that you need to return the unused portion (because they sent you a 30 day supply) for a ridiculous shipping and restocking fee. Or, you can continue with the subscription. The terms and conditions I printed out when I signed up for the trial offer had nothing about this included. If you go back to their website, those terms and conditions do have all the “fine print” problems. When I started reading the terms and conditions from when I signed up for the free trial and told them we could either cancel now, or I could stop payment and send all the info to my credit card, he canceled my “membership” without further issue. I’ll have to keep an eye on my credit card, but what a ridiculous waste of time.

  7. This is DEFINITELY a scam, at least from trial websites. I spoke with Henry as well and he told me that the website “clearly stated” in the terms and conditions that I would have to cancel the trial on the 14th day or prior. However, when I tried to click the terms and conditions link to refer back, there was NO link! I demanded a full refund since I had no idea that they were going to charge me $84.95. He told me that they were having a special offer to give me a 30% discount to continue the trial and that’s all they cold give me. After much fight, he then offered 50% off. I continued to say no and that I was going to just have my bank deny the charges and he told me that I would be committing credit card fraud if I did that. I wouldn’t budge. I demanded to talk to corporate or someone higher and Henry claimed he was a floor manager and did not have that number. Umm, how can a manager NOT have a corporate number? I called them out on the huge scam. He then said he would give me the full refund and it would take three weeks to process and then HUNG UP on me!
    TLDR; HUGE SCAM,
KEEP FIGHTING THEM, I GOT MY REFUND!!
but keep an eye on your your bank account…

The man i talked to was rude and just a jerk. and they are charging you this amount 2times in a month. I was charged on the 6 of aug and then again on the 19 of aug. Please do not order this junk it will cost you a fortune just to get it stopped. I am going to go to the better business beurea and anyone that order this mess and has been had should to they will check them out and shut them down. Thankyou

  10. I started to order the product and had entered all my information and didn’t even hit submit and immediately I received an e-mail that my credit card had been charged and the product was being shipped. I called them immediately and they said they could cancel future shipments but that I would still be receiving this shipment and they were full bottles and that I had to return them to a specified address when I received them with a label with a cancellation number on it. I told them I had just filled in the information and technically not even submitted it and I was already charged and do not even want the product and they said once the order has been entered it goes straight to the fulfillment center and they have no control over the shipments and it was already in the process of going out. I told them if they could not even communicate with the shipment center this was clearly a scam and she said “have a nice day” and hung up on me. Clearly a scam, don’t get sucked in!!!!!

  12. Agree with all the comments about Clearly Fit labs! I ordered 2 products that were a “trial”. One for $2.95 and one for $3.95. Did not see the fine print that stated I had 14 days from the date of order to call and cancel subscription and that would have to return unused product if I did not want to be charged $84.95 and $89.95 for this “trial”. This is just ridiculous! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!! I know have to return product and wait 3 days then call customer service with the tracking number to confirm they have the product and then they said they will refund my money. I wonder how many people use all the product and get stuck owing the nearly $180.00 for two bottles of supplements!!!

  15. Clearly Fit is most definitely a scam. No where on your paperwork, receipt does it state the 14 day trial period or auto ship. The product is useless, which it should have known better. The only positive thing I can say is that they did refund the second shipment and cancelled my order but this was a costly lesson. Don’t but the product! If it is sounds too good to be true than it is too good to be true.

  16. I received my trial order this week and was just about to open the bottles and give them a try. Then I decided to go on-line and look to verify the dosage (because the writing on the bottles is so dang small). It was difficult to find any contact information for Clearly Fit but I did come across this and other articles/reviews (even reviews on Amazon) that described this scam. I’m so glad I did! I called Clearly Fit on a Sunday night at 8 pm, and Travis confirmed that I would be charged $84.95 for each bottle after the 14 day trial! I never saw this in writing anywhere when the trial offer was made. He tried to offer me an extension of the 14 day period but I wasn’t interested. He told me I would be charged 50% of the price if I kept the trial bottles. I argued that I already paid $2.95 and $3.95 for these bottles and they should be mine to keep. He wouldn’t budge so I decided to return them untried. He assured me I would not be charged one penny more as long as I returned them with the RMA numbers he gave me. He was actually fairly cooperative. I’m so thankful for articles and reviews to warn the rest of us about these scams! I got out of it for less than $10 but never got to try them. $170 would’ve hurt A LOT.

  19. I wish, I wish, I wish I had listened to my inner voice and read reviews on this trash scam!!! I was somehow charged an “insurance fee” on the products which I called to dispute. During that call, I mentioned that I had not yet received the product so the customer service person extended my trial period. Once I received the products and examined the ingredients, I decide this was not a good product for me to consume. I just called to cancel the “trial” and learned they have already charged me for the full amount. After “searching” for the recorded call and not being able to locate it, I’m told they can not refund my account until I return the products. But of course, they can offer me an 50% discount now if I’m ok with that. THESE PEOPLE ARE TRUE SCAMMERS!!! STAY AWAY. THEY ARE LIARS. The only thing that’s CLEAR is they are CLEARLY CRIMINAL IN THEIR MISSION!

She offered to extend the trial and I told her I just want to cancel and not be charged $80 something for each bottle. She said she could cancel my membership and sell me the bottles to keep for a 50% discounted price. So $40 something for each bottle. Still $80 something. but better than $160. I had her go over everything again and made sure I would not be charged any additional charges since I was canceling my membership and buying the bottles.

  25. I purchased the “trial” of the Cleanse Fit 1800 along with their Garcinia Cambogia Fit 1300 and it is a total scam. They 100% expect you to pass the trial period when you do not see results and try to ride it out to see if there will be results. The person I talked to at customer service literally told me that you should not expect to see results for about 60 days so what is the point of a 14 day trial you may ask – it is to steal your money since they are not willing to refund your money in spite of getting absolutely NO results. They are a bunch of thieves, do not risk your money or waste your time with this company. Buyers beware!

DO NOT fall for their trial…they say oh it only cost you this very small amount then 14 days later they charge you another 125 and then they will charge you another 125 right after that for you monthly supply of pills which you were never told you were entering into. I phoned them today thinking the 1st 125 was for my supposed next shipment which I never got because I cancelled and they told me oh no its for the rest of the price of the trial…so 125 plus the 8 something I paid in the begining for 14 days…I think not and they will not refund your money…Definitely a SCAM.

I let her know i did not open them and would gladly send them back; she encouraged me to keep them and try I them for at least one month. After I explained that $80 a bottle, was just way out of my price range, she then put me on hold. When she got back on, she told me she canceled my membership and just told me to keep the bottles (without charge). Was she lying? Do I freeze my account? After reading the stories above about them charging a person so much, I wonder if I should believe this lady? HELP!!!!

  34. TOTAL SCAM, probably constituting fraud; I’m working on it. Clearly Fit’s initial offer promises a free trial for just $2.95 shipping; they also shipped the two products I ordered — Garcinia and “Cleanse” — separately; the second one they shipped for $3.95 — and tack on insurance fees ($1.98 and $1.99 respectively). Small change to this point. But that shipment didn’t arrive until two days before the end of the “trial period,” when they start charging a “monthly fee” for EACH PRODUCT, , $89.99 and $84.95 respectively (typically, you can get Garcinia in your local drug store for about $30 bucks). I called to cancel, which they gave me a fight over — “too late”, etc, and finally agreed to cancel future shipments. Except a second shipment was already on the way, arrived a day or two later, and a second “monthly fee” had already been charged to my credit card (which I didn’t find till I subsequently got my credit card bill) just two weeks after the first, and both went up — $94.94 and $88.90 this time. When I called to demand a credit for the second set of charges, I got a runaround from, first, the initial service operator “Jesse D.” — they claim that “FCC regulations” — huh? — bar them from giving out any more of their name — and then his “supervisor”, a real harridan “named” “Shawna E. ” — who basically repeats the same b.s. the first idiot said, tells you her “supervisor” is at “corporate headquarters” and can’t be called or spoken to. If you ask for the corporate address, they give you “1885B Beaver Ridge Circle, Norcross, Georgia 30071” — not the Cleveland address you find on their website and one I couldn’t find when I did an online search — and then Shawna Evil gives you a lot of attitude, and then hangs up. These fraudulent operators haven’t heard the last of me yet, as I am going to take legal and regulatory steps against them in multiple avenues; I also can’t speak to the efficacy of their product except to say I developed diarrhea since I started using them as directed (returned to regular since I stopped) and lost no appreciable weight. Stay away from these con artists as far as you can.

  43. I fell for this SCAM. Ordered and received the product, then decided to check my bank statement to see if all was well. It WASN’T. I had been charged $84.95 one day, then then next day charged $89.99.

I called my bank to find out what I could do, and the manager said I could fill out an affidavit and work on getting my money refunded, but that she would recommend I call the company first and try to resolve it over the phone. THIS IS THE PHONE NUMBER: 877-878-0926.

I called and told the guy who answered I wanted to get a full refund. He went into his canned spiel about the 14 day trial period and how I was obligated to pay. I used the word ‘AFFIDAVIT’ and told him I’d talked to my bank about filing one. He then said he’d see what he could do. First he came back and said they could give me a 30% refund.. I said no, I want 100% refunded. He then came back with a 50% refund offer, I said NO, I WANT 100%. He acted like he was pulling all these strings every time. Finally, he said JUST FOR ME he was going to refund 100%. He said I’ll have to return the product to:

    Fulfillment Center
    1885-B Beaver Ridge Circle
    Norcross GA 30071

I’ll be watching my account like a hawk to see if the refunds come through. I called back to double check that I wouldn’t be charged ‘restocking fees’ after reading on here that some people were. They said no. I also asked that they stop any further activity on my account, and they said they have, and they show a 100% refund was ordered. I’m hoping and praying that’s the case, and I will NEVER do anything this stupid again!!!!!!!

She said she canceled it, but I still have to pay for it even if I get them and put return to sender unopened. I did the supposed free trial. I didn’t even have it 14 days mush less use it. I won’t get a refund either if I send it back sealed and in original packing, literally putting a sharpie on it saying return to sender. They still won’t take it back, if they do it will probably get repackaged and sent to some one else, but still will not give me my money back. This is my post on this page:
” I just hopefully canceled my first order of Cleanse fit and now have to pay them 200 dollars. I didn’t know I couldn’t cancel or return shipment. I got a box and no papers in it . They said read the fine print. It’s in the online agreement. I just want to cancel the shipment and get my 200 dollars back. They are horrible for doing this. I did this for my friend who is disabled as a way to get him to help lose weight.”

Please help! I have the # above in my phone and will be calling tomorrow.

  47. A representative from my credit card company placed a 3-way call to Clearly Fit regarding this obvious scam and, after being offered a 50% refund, I insisted on a full refund and got it. Be persistent! They are crooks and know it. I’m pretty sure having the credit card rep on the line made a difference.

  48. I just got hit for almost $90 bucks. I fell for the free sample of the skin and eye creams- guess I missed the fine print that said I would be charged so much after 14 days. I really try to avoid these scams but they got me too. I am going to pursue a refund. I don’t have a representive but perhaps I will try legal aid. These people should be shut down
