For some this is a chore that we hate to do. However if you wish to lose weight then it could be a way to burn off a few extra calories.

Just remember to try and avoid buying the junk while you are at the store. I know it can be tempting.

Just a 30 minute walk could burn 100 calories, plus your pet is getting some much needed exercise too.

Chewing some gum can burn around 11 calories an hour, plus it can take your mind off eating too.

Just make sure you choose sugar-free chewing gum, as those with sugar will obviously contain calories.

Crazy Tip #6: Texting

While there are certainly some negative aspects to being constantly on your phone, you can still burn calories doing it.

You could in fact burn as much as 40 calories every hour that you text. While not a lot it is better than nothing at all.
