Is Full & Slim the answer to your weight issues?

Is Full & Slim the answer to your weight issues?

Many of us have put weight on over Christmas and New Year, mainly due to all those parties we attended and the junk food we have eaten.

Now that the festivities are over for another year you may be regretting your indulgences and are desperately looking for a way to slim.

We all know that diet and exercise is still one of the better methods you can use, however diets are often difficult as you will experience cravings that you may struggle to deal with.

You may also find that you are unable to cut back on your normal food amounts, which again will severely limit the amount of weight you can lose.

There may be a solution to these problems just on your horizon in the form of Full & Slim, a diet drink that is claimed to mimic the effects of a gastric band.

Let us look at Full & Slim a little closer to see if it can indeed help with your weight issues.

Claimed benefits of Full & Slim?

The following benefits have been claimed by the manufacturer of Full & Slim:

  • Feel fuller
  • Burn fat
  • Lower cholesterol levels
  • Reduce the chance of developing diabetes

These benefits sound promising, but we will need to look at the ingredients of Full & Slim before they can be verified.

How does Full & Slim work?

The ingredients of Full & Slim are L-Carnitine and Glucomannan.

Full & SlimL-Carnitine is an amino acid that has been shown to help burn stored fat before turning it into energy.

Glucomannan on the other hand is derived from the tuberous roots of the Konjac plant.

When Glucomannan comes into contact with water in your stomach and intestine it will increase in volume, becoming almost gel-like.

This gel helps to keep you feeling fuller for longer as there is less room for food.

Is Full & Slim proven?

The manufacturers have tested their own product on 500 women who drunk the diet drink before each meal for a period of 6 weeks.

At the conclusion of this test 70% of the women tested lost a stone or more in weight.

Glucomannan itself has been tested previously, with one study showing that volunteer who took Glucomannan for 5 weeks lost over 5% of their body weight compared with less than 2% lost by those who took a placebo.

How to take Full & Slim for best results?

It is advised that for best results you take one of the sachets with water 30 minutes before each meal.

Is Full & Slim recommended?

If you struggle with cravings or tend to overeat at mealtimes then Full & Slim may be the answer.

It is made from proven ingredients that will certainly help keep you fuller for longer.

One issue we did find with Full & Slim is the price. At present you can buy 3 fruit-flavoured sachets for £6.60 or £28.95 for a pack of 21.

With the recommended dosage at 1 sachet with every meal you may find that Full & Slim may be an expensive option.

Even if you only take 2 sachets a day that will work out at almost £90. In these tough financial times this may be too much for some.

Where can you buy Full & Slim?

At present Full & Slim is only available to buy on their own website. In the future Boots are looking to stock it.

Each package comes with 3 different flavours; Orange, Grapefruit and, Mango and Passionfruit.
