Why should you avoid Garcinia Cambogia 360?

Why should you avoid Garcinia Cambogia 360?

Since its first appearance on the Dr Oz Show sales of supplements containing Garcinia Cambogia have continued to grow.

This is not unsurprising as it was shown to aid slimming. Unfortunately not all supplements have proven to be a success.

Sometimes they do not contain enough of the beneficial ingredient, while other times it is simply too expensive.

Garcinia Cambogia 360 is a Garcinia Cambogia supplement that makes some pretty big claims, but can it back them up? Lets find out shall we?

Claims made by Garcinia Cambogia 360

The following claims have been made on the Garcinia Cambogia 360 website:

  • Burn unwanted fat
  • Build a tighter body
  • Boost your metabolism
  • Increase energy
  • Suppress appetite

The biggest claim made by Garcinia Cambogia 360 is that you can burn away fat without diet or exercise, which although impressive sounding is a little unrealistic.

Even if true it is not recommended as once you stop using the supplement the weight will surely return if you continue with your past diet and exercise habits.

We would have to look at the ingredients found in this supplement before we can verify how accurate these claims are.

Ingredients of Garcinia Cambogia 360

Although stating that Garcinia Cambogia 360 contains 60% Hydroxycitric Acid (HCA) and is made from 100% natural ingredients there is no mention of the quantity of Garcinia Cambogia found in each capsule.

There is even mention of the recommended dosage (between 500-1000 mg before each meal) so this is a little odd.

Price of Garcinia Cambogia 360

What is most worrying about this supplement is its price. Signing up to the 13 day trial will cost an initial $5.95, which is to cover the cost of shipping and handling.

However, what you may not realise is that once this trial period has elapsed you will be charged the full purchase price of $87.47.

Whats worse is that you will continue to receive a new package every month, along with the hefty bill until you cancel your membership.

Returning the product will also cost you a $6 restocking fee.

Is Garcinia Cambogia 360 a scam?

The terms and conditions of Garcinia Cambogia 360 cover their payment terms so unfortunately even if you feel like you have been scammed there is very little you can do.

Garcinia Cambogia 360 is certainly overpriced and trial offers are certainly not recommended, they often result in you paying a lot more than you originally thought.

  1. Hi,
As I read above that If you sign up and request a free trial bottle for $5.95 which I did, I hope that I will not be receiving anything unless I place an additional order for such. I just want to make it clear.
    Thank you.

Hope to get an immediate response before I take this diet supplement. Thank you.

    • I just read the website which stated that unless you call to cancel 13 days after the ORDER date your card will be charged again. AND 30 days after that days it will be charged again, and so on. It says 13 days after order, not 13 days after the product is delivered. If you haven’t called to cancel yet…..check your account.

      • Their own documentation shows an order date that is actually the shipping date. When you tell them this they claim that your actual order was much earlier.

    • I ordered the trial for Garcinia Cambogia and also received the unexpected 87.47 bill. Which is not stated before you order. I called customer service and they said that there is no return for the charge. Needless to say I cancelled the order entirely. My 13 day trial was counted on the day I ordered not the day I received it. I was not Happy about the unexpected charge.

    • Hi,

After reading all the comments I checked into when my order was placed, on their paperwork it says the 10th of December but I actually placed the order on the 12th of December I called to cancel the subscription and was told I needed to return the product as well? I paid for a free trial bottle $5.95 why do I need to return the product? Can anyone tell me if the returned the product upon cancelling the subscription?

      • I cancelled my order just after I ordered the trial and I still received my trial bottle which turned out to be a 30 day amount so I guess I got lucky, I was never asked to return it.

  2. I bought the Cambogia Garcinia 360 for the $5.95. I understood that this was a special offer to get people to buy their product. I in no terms thought that I would then be charged the full price of $87! It was explained that this was a special offer for the $5.95 only! I was shocked to learn that my bank account was overdrawn because of this charge. I am now going to call them about this as I feel that I was duped.

    Reply
    • be very careful, the website, tho I do not remember the site name, does NOT state the terms. My account was charged the “shipping and handling fee” on 10/27 but was then charged the $175.00 7 days later even if you count the date it was entered. I called the customer service number only to be told very rudely that I neglected to read the terms and conditions which clearly stated the fees and times. I read that very carefully to avoid the same. I have succeeded in cancelling the account but whether or not that will reverse the overdraft fees charged by my bank is another story. This place is underhanded and rude. spread the word to keep others from being duped also.

  3. ALWAYS read the Terms and Conditions of trial offer.

As per their website: “You will have 28 days from your original order date to decide if Garcinia Cambogia Max Slim is right for you. If you are enjoying Garcinia Cambogia Max Slim do nothing and at the end of your 28-day trial period you will be charged the low price of only $89.84 / £89.84 for the bottle you received (there will be no retroactive effect on customers who enrolled earlier when a different price may have been in place). Plus, if you decide to keep your product, you agree to be enrolled in our Pure Supplements Club and approximately 30 days from the end of your 28-day trial period and every 30 days thereafter you will be sent another 1 month supply of Garcinia Cambogia Max Slim for the same low price of $89.84 / £89.84, plus $9.95 / £9.95 shipping and handling.”

    • 5 days after receiving my free trial I was charged $87. When I called they said It wasn’t a 28 day trial it’s 13 days from order date not date received. This a scam! There is no way to see results in 5 days.

    • Well, Kate, that would be nice and proper IF they actually adhered to the time frames indicated and there was only one charge. I got charged twice and the first charge came 7 days after and the second 13 days after.

  5. Doesn’t FREE mean free? To me this is nothing short of false advertising! If you are to be charged for keeping/using the product ($87.47 + $5.95 S&H) then I’d say this is NOT as it is advertised! $93.42 IS NOT FREE!!! Their TERMS of this FRAUD should be posted UP FRONT, not buried in the fine print! This is one to report to the BBB !

At 12:01 on Sunday morning they charged my account $173.24. This product contains a calcium filler, which I cannot take due to doctor’s orders. They would not refund or take back their suppliment.

  7. BE WARNED! This company is nothing but a scam. They offer you the bottles, then if you are unsatisfied, it is not a 30 day money back guarantee like they say. They will tell you that this is only for select customers who order more than one bottle at a time. They will give 70% back to you and that’s it! The product is junk and they will not care whether you like it or not. The customer service reps just act like they couldn’t care more that you are dissatisfied. Worst company. Worst products. Total scam.

I signed up for the free trial of garcinia and supracleanse. I was charged £2.99 for the postage of each bottle. The bottles came but I was dubious. Then to my horror two lots of £89.99 was taken from my account. I didn’t read the terms and conditions. I have now instructed my bank not to authorise any more payments. I have emailed them several times to cancel. I feel so stupid. I havent told anyone because I am so ashamed. Don’t be fooled.

I was not going to order more and ….. bang I was hit with the 87 dollar fee. I am a single father of three and this set me back the 87 and 2 35 dollar bank fee charges. Now I cant find how the heck to opt out.

  14. I also fell for this, as I too believe it was false advertisement. 14 day trial was not stated and I thought I was just getting a 30 day trial. When I called he would not let me speak to a manager. He did state he would cancel any further shipping and charges and I recieved a very generic e mail stating my cancellation. He did not give me the option to mail back the bottles and get a refund; which is stated in a terms/ conditions I found on by googling. It is not the one I agreed too. I found the link that I clicked to order and advertisment is same but now that link is advertisment has two different supplements than the 360 I ordered. So upset. My last $30 out if my account was taken, so now im overdrawn and with bank fees now owed.

  15. I have ordered this product, and was charged 87.00 in which I was outraged…..Then not to mention, I was only given back half of my money, the company stated that they would give me the other half when I return back the unfinished product. I have never use the pills and sent the product back as instructed and I have never received my other half of the the 87.00. Does these pills really work anyway? I bought some from a local GNC Store, and I have lost three prounds in a week of course diet and exercise helped.

  16. Like everyone else, I did not read the small print. I realized today that they billed me on 9/11 after my initial trial order ($5.95). I immediately called my credit card company and told them what had happened. They told me they will institute a dispute on my part. I have the telephone # but no address to return the unused (and useless) portion. If I receive the order they have billed me for, I plan to return to sender and send a registered letter to cancel. I also plan to call them in the morning to let them know what I’m doing. Any other suggestions?

  19. Here’s the catch for me, I can’t find their charge anywhere on credit card or paypal account. Those are the only two ways I would pay for anything I purchase online. My CC company can’t seem to find the charge either. Isn’t that weird? I did threaten to fight these charges through my CC company and they backed down immediately and said they would offer me a full refund once I returned the product but that it would take 30 days to see the money. OY! Learned a lesson, albeit an expensive one.

Just a note, I’ve never fallen for anything like this before and I’m kicking myself for doing so this time. OY already!

  23. Scam? Yes, definitely. I placed my order for the 13-day trial with all intent to read the Terms and Conditions somewhere before my order was finalized. It never came up. So after stupidly going ahead and submitting the order, I found the T&C at the very bottom of the home page. Found how much I would be charged if I didn’t call to cancel within my 13 days. This is where I saw that it was 13 days from date of order. This was enough for me to cancel even if the product did work. The day my product arrived, I called to cancel. They realized I received my product that day and tried to get me to keep it. I said that 13 days isn’t enough time to see if the trial even works considering it’s not even a true 13 days because it includes the time it took to ship to my house. I could either send the product back at my own expense or keep it for a discounted price. They said they would extent my trial by a few more days and that I could call back then to cancel. Tried that today, Nov. 3, 2014. Spent 10 minutes repeating myself to the gentleman to cancel the trial all the while he tried to get me to keep it. Same story about returning the product, at my own expense and a $6 restocking fee. I finally decided to keep the rest of the product for $20 so as to have at least something for my time and money. Moral of the story, even if you call to cancel within the trial period, they will get $ out of you whether you keep the product or not. P.S. I find it amusing that in their T&C, it states that you have read, understand and agree to their Terms of Service simply by accessing their website. Can’t read their Terms of Service without accessing their website. Hmmmm, interesting. All I can say now is BUYER BEWARE!!!!

I was sick when it first came so I never opened the bottle or started the pills. on11/24/14 they took $87.43 out of my bank account. I couldn’t figure out what this was for till my bank state ment came. 1-800-809-0170. they were very rude , she told me I would get no money back because I didn’t read the fine print but I read everything. she said it was written 4 times in the information. I told her it was not and ask to speak to the supervisor. she said she was the supervisor. I told her I wanted this cancelled and she said she was canceling. I told her I was calling my bank and I was going on facebook to report their dishonesty. Do not buy this!!!!!

I callef to cancel my 13 day trail because it started the day i ordered it not the day of arrival. I was told by them what day it will arrival so i couldnt understand why they werent able to start the trail then. The bottomline is this isva joke its too expensive and you can go to walgreens and walmart for this similiar product for alot less.

  28. Garcinia Cambogia 360 offers a “free trial” but the trial is really not free.

You only have 13 days from the date of order to cancel a “membership” or you will be charged $87.47 per month.

READ THE FINE PRINT THAT IS YOU HAVE TO GO LOOK FOR TO FIND BECAUSE IT IS NOT CLEAR IN THE SALES TRANSACTION!!!!

    (1) You are charged shipping to receive the trial
    (2) You have to call to cancel and get a special RMA number
    (3) You return unused tablets
    (4) You have to pay for return shipment costs
    (6) You have to pay for restocking, and
    (7) continue to follow-up to ensure you are not billed additional charges.

This is a huge hassle and not a way to do business, this company is banking on consumers to not call within the 13 days. They also make the return process so cumbersome so that potential customers will make an error, and Garcinia Cambogia 360 will again profit. It is sad that this company has to swindle their customers to make profit instead of providing a product that will create a loyal customer base.

Any business that is this hard to do business with is not worth the hassle and will not be in business long.

If it takes any where from 3 to 5 days to get your order this only leaves you 8 day to see if this product works so how is this a trial period when it takes at least a month to get any results. I feel that if the company really believe in there product they would have the free trial change to a month giving the consumer enough time to see if the product really works. Something is not right in reference to this offer

  43. Hi, this message is neither to offend or recommend this product. However, I would like to comment about it for those who intend to order in the future.
I do not believe the order process is a scam but they do acquire you use your brain. Most likely because they would like to keep your money as any company would. So unfortunately for those who did not read carefully and maybe just had a lapse in memory in regards to their order date and thought oh I’ll call and tell a sob story to get my money back it didn’t work. I shop online a lot so I’m very familiar with the sob and whine to get my money since I forgot to call and cancel process. This company unlike justfab, shoedazzle, fabletics etc etc does not have a one time “I forgot to skip the month clause” in their t&c. So if you forget well you are screwed like those who previously commented.
Now for those who intend to order I’m not sure if the medicine itself is a scam bc I have yet to try it but the terms and conditions are not.
I placed the order from my handy dandy iPhone. Not even a desktop or laptop and still got a big pop up of a terms and conditions page which is shown at least twice during the order. I remember seeing it 1st underneath the sign up for the trial and then again during the signup process. The agreement is that you will cancel the trial 13 days after you purchase the product not 13 days after you receive it. For anyone who can read it clearly states it. I placed my order on the Dec. 7th received it on the 14th and cancelled it on the Dec. 15th. So here’s where you use your brain, there was no info in the package containing who to call to cancel the trial or even the company. But again I deal with online ordering a lot, I took a picture of my order as well as the “1-800” number provided during the ordering process. I actually didn’t feel like going through all my recently taken pictures for the number so I went to my bank statement, found the date I placed the order and bam the number is right next to the order like most online shopping bills. I called to cancel and had no issues, besides the fact I had to hold for a representative for about 20 minutes. Which I think is probably to deter you from cancelling. But as I said I come prepared when it comes to online orders. I called when I wasn’t busy and hand nothing to do but cancel my order as I would like to keep my 80+ dollars in my pocket. Furthermore, as I said the ordering part isn’t a scam you just have to read carefully, save/remember dates..you know be prepared.

    Thank-you for reading 🙂

  44. Scam!!!! The website I went to said a 30 day free trial. Told me to take the two items together – only one bottle was sent 7 days after the other one. The sight never said the cost of the items – only the shipping costs. Two weeks later I was charged for $80 each for the two items. When I called the number on my credit card statement they said I could return the two items “unopened” for a full refund. How it that a trial offer if you can’t even open them to try them? In the two weeks I did use them I did not have more energy, nor did they suppress my appetite, and I did not lose any weight. I guess I should have found this website before ordering. Looks like I’m stuck with $160 bill for two worthless items. Any suggestions???
