  1. I decided to order this “free trial” after reading so many good reviews about it on Dr.Oz, magazine articles and on CNN. It was so simple, put in your information, credit card number and voila! A 30 day trial bottle for both garcinia cambogia and garcinia green coffee is at your door 5 days later for a low price of $10(shipping and handling) Little did I know 3 weeks later they would charge me $200 on my credit card!

    I called the customer service number and was shocked to hear that it’s not a 30 day trial technically, it’s a 14-day trial and of you don’t call in the 14 days they will not only charge you for the full price bottles, they will also charge you for every month after that. I find this so sneaky of them because you cannot get true results in 14 days and it’s also in fine print(which no one ever reads).

    The customer service rep I had also kept trying to bribe me by saying “we can offer you 50% off for a lifetime supply” after I explained 5 times “no I do not want to continue my services” … All in all this is very sneaky and awful service and don’t be scammed by this! It is not worth it at all!!!

        • Contact the Federal Trade commission. They deal with this kind of crappy lying advertising. (go to ftccomplaintassistant.gov) they won’t get your $ back but can issue a cease & desist order, Go to BBB for $$ returns and if using cc,get it to help u which is what I am doing. BBB can’t always get what u want.

          • I ordered the sample bottle for 4.95 The first of Oct 2015 and on the 22nd of Oct 2015 a charge of 79.98 was attempted to be charged on my credit card luckily I had canceled that card due to another scam and charges were denied

        • I tried the TRIAL of Garcinia Cambrogia with NO results. There was a 76.00 deduction out of my checking account that put me into overdraft x2.

          To me a trial means just that…..it is my choice to order more if the trial was successful and I wanted more, I could order it.

          The main reason I order the product is that it was recommended by Dr. Oz. To me this ordeal is a scam. Trying to get off of the trial and now there’s no answer at a number that is supposed to be available 7 days a week til 7 pm eastern time.

          I will not be trying a trial offer again.

          • Same thing happened to me. We have all been robbed by these scammers. They tell me I agreed to their 2 week trial. I will never order from them ever again. They put me into overdraft also.

          • I also tried the TRIAL of Garcinia Cambrogia in conjunction with the African Mango after watching a video and reading about a ‘health professional’ having good results with the combination. There was nothing about a 14-day trial and then billed if not called and cancelled ~ there was no paperwork at all with the bottle of pills shipped. I read on the bottle to know how to take the pills. Didn’t know it wasn’t a ’30-day free trial’ until I saw my bank statement where they charged 85.99 for one and 87.95 for the other (making me overdrawn 4 times and bank charges to the tune of 144, not a happy person). The person in ‘customer service’ was no help at all ~ reading a written response to every statement I made. Now I understand they have sent a second shipment ~ I will return these pills!!! They did no good ~ did not speed up my metabolism or help me loose one pound!!! I will also tell everyone I know NOT to use these pills!!!!! WHAT A SCAM ~ NO MATTER WHO IS CONNECTED TO IT!!!!!             Just so you know, I live in Toronto and we call it Steeles Avenue west…I think they omit the “avenue, to delay the return by post office.

            So I didn’t open my product as I found it in store for $20. They don’t tell you how it is per month and if it is auto ship . It’s actual illegal to get a auto subscription through a trial here is Canada. Regardless, the free trial does start from the day you order and is for 14 days, I was given option to cancel and keep my pills for $18.75 US ,,,,I said I would check to see how much to rerun product now that Canada post is not striking this month. If expensive, I will pay that money. However, I also got charged for HEALTHYSMILEBRIGHTSMILE.C844-3867276 WY 19.99 USD @ 1.330600000000. ….$26 cnd the day I ordered this product….I have no idea what this is and my free trial was supposed to be in cnd dollars and there was another charge as well for $1.99 us fro I don’t know what …..         • cancel your card Kirsty. You will get replacement one with a new number. Then call the bank and tell them you have fallen victim to a scam. I did this, this morning and they told me that they wont be able to take any more money from my account because they dont have the new number of my card. £300 is a lot of money to come off your bank. Did they send you more tablets?

I called my credit card company when I saw a charge of 150.00 and disputed it the card company is disputing any and all charges they put on my account. I hope it works.. Friendly fraud my ass they are the ones who are guilty of fraud.

    • This is a total scam! I called the number first for the colon cleanse when I saw I was charged $129 to my credit card. Called them up and got the same line of carp that everyone did. He kept putting me on hold to check with his” resourses” and then kept offering me other options other than returning my money. You can tell they are reading from a script. I let them have a piece of my mind. They are supposed to be crediting my account in full and cancelling my account. I spoke to my bank and if this is not processed within 2 days. Can fill out the paperwork to dispute it. I also refused to send back the product on my dime. I never even had a chance to use it before I was charged. Called the second company for the other order. Same scam , followed the same script to tee . Supposed to get a full refund also. Needless to say, I also cancelled my debit card. Buyer Beware, this is a total scam!

I did talk to someone who tried to talk me into more bottles. it was a joke and we ended up screaming at each other. I now hope that it is cancelled and don’t have any surprises in my bank account. Called immediately to find out why they charged me, when i have yet to receive the trial sample, that supposedly was $4.95, ended being 14day trial. The cs rep. said, it is in the add, and cant refund me my $$ of 86.94. I hope she canceled my entire order gonna call again to make sure with probably fake cancellation # she gave me.

    • Cancel your credit card immediately to get rid of these scam artists. Once I realized they had bill me for 92.00 I got a phone number from the credit card company and tried to cancel. They will tell you they “cant find your account”, they are having technical difficulties, phone back later, they will hang up on you as soon as they reallize you want to cancel. One of the two numbers don’t even work. Your best bet is to cancel your credit card and get a new number to stop this. Also if you really want this stuff you can find it at Walmart or Costco for one-tenth the price these idiot are charging. I am now contacting Facebook to report this company’s advertising as this is where I originally signed up for the product.

She continued telling me I was wrong and hung when I asked why mine only says to take 2 tablets with midday meal. Someone called me to offer me a monthly subscription and I told them NO, take me off the list, I refuse, they charged me anyway. I had to argue for 10 minutes and threaten to take it up with BBB or just dispute through my credit card, and she agreed to credit me both fees (after offering me $20 off, $30 off, $40 off, etc). Now let’s see if they do credit the account. The stress is not worth anything this pill could do for me. Now I need meditation and yoga!!!

Although I did get a confirmation number and am cancelled..if this proves wrong I will contact an attorney.     • If you read the information at the bottom of the page when you purchase it says it’s a 14 day trial. It may be sneaky but it says it in plain sight. You should always read everything when purchasing on a foreign site.

    • I had the exact same experience. Except mine was $300 CDN. The service representative that I was speaking to was rude, pushy and aggressive. She would not listen to what I was saying. She just kept trying to push a lower and lower fee for my next shipment even though I asked to just cancel everything four times! She would not take no for an answer and when it was near the end she was raising her voice at me and being extremely sarcastic.
      I would never recommend this company or product to anyone!

  2. I too, was under the written understanding that not only was I to pay the $47 plus change, but was told it was a 22 day trial. I hate tricksters and immediately cancelled any further contact with that company.
    Also, it does not give full disclosure of the ingredients but under cut the HCA by 10%. To be a true supplement it should be 60% HCA.

    I too have been trapped into this and now have over 600$ unwillingly taken from me. I have tried everything and can’t seem to find any reliable contact to end this. My credit card investigation told me i have to directly cancel this to be refunded however no real contacts have been found.

There was nothing with the delivery except a leaflet telling you how to use product, no company name, no website, no return address nothing to tell you who sent it!! Bank have been useless, Royal Bank of Scotland, tell me to contact company despite me telling them I have no details!! I asked them for details of where my money was going ie company name, bank name etc but they claim not to have any more details than I have. Then went on to say they have had lots of complaints of this kind!!!

      I am closing account with Royal Bank of Scotland and moving to a new bank, it won’t get me my money back but it will stop the thieving bastards from getting any more of my money.

      Kari you are within your rights to instruct you card company to stop any CPA’s (continuous payment agreement).Once you have instructed your bank to do this any payment that comes out they must refund plus interest.

    • Report your credit card stolen so you will be issued a new one…they can’t have access to it because they can’t have credit card number you didn’t issue to them originally…GOOD LUCK! I am in the same situation and this is what was recommended as I put it through the credit card fraud department because the insurance on your credit card should cover you.

      • Cancel your card and order a new one with new number.. I have just done this. I then spoke to the bank who told me that if my card is cancelled I will be issued with a new number which these scammers do not have. If they do try taking any money after cancellation the bank will then chase it up.

        Feel so stupid getting caught with this.

      • I signed up for the trial in December 7th and was on my 1st week when I had to stop it because of other medical issues. I called the company on December 15th to cancel and the rep cancelled my order. He even gave me a confirmation number. I asked him if I should return the products but he told me I should keep it because it was a trial anyway. I was happy about that (or so I thought). To make sure, I also contacted my credit card and had it blocked from all purchases. Well, well, well. When I checked my credit card balance I was charged $174.36!!!!!! I asked my credit card company why that came through when I had my card blocked. I was told that the purchase was already pending even before I had the card blocked so they could not block it. And the purchase was made on that same day that I cancelled my order!!! Since I believed the rep and did not send the products back (and I think it won’t even matter even if I did sent them back), I just told my credit card company that I will just pay that off, charge it to experience and entirely close the account so they could not charge anything anymore. That was also the advise of the credit card company – to close the account. To all of you who have signed up for the trial, call the credit card company FIRST and have them block your card immediately before you call Pure body Elite. Tell them about the situation. Then, call Pure body to cancel. That way, pure body won’t be able to turn around and charge you for the whole amount.

  5. Total rip off! Thank god for my credit card company that alerted me about the extra charges! They blocked them so they won’t be able to charge any more on my card! I also phoned and they cancelled the garcinia part but the other free trial offer for the colon cleansing I have to send the bottle back otherwise it will go on for ever according to Elisabeth on the phone. So after a bunch of information and RMA number I am sending the bottle back. I guess buyers beware! Now I am going on the treadmill instead! Don’t by this product! Total rip off! (oh yeah I said that already!)

    Do not trust or buy any free trial of this Garcinia or Colon Cleanse Elite.
    Call their numbers and cancel anything you had:

    Return their stupid pills and never trust them again. They don’t work at all, not in the first 14 days trial or in any other extended period of time.
    Then call your bank and cancel your existing credit card and have them send you a new one to avoid any future charges.
    The only way to stop them is by passing the message to others!

      • Just got off the phone with tese people. The number I called was 1 800-309-8590. The first time the lady would not shut up long enough for me to say anything she actually hung up on me when I started asking questions about their company especially their tax id #. I called back and spoke with a gentleman named Red and at first he was giving me the same line, and after continously asking about their tax id # and this web site showing them being a scam. He started off with 35%, then 50%, then 75% of my money back. I told him I would see my attorney on Monday since they would not give me their tax id # whick is the law that the company. I was very persistant about suing them and their scam. I also told him I recorded our conversation and soon after that I got my full refund back which he told me would be in the next 1 to 3 days. I will however call my bank on Monday blocking them from taking anymore out of my account. I hope this helps.

  12. Same as above, a total scam….I was shocked to see that my VISA was charged $99 and $105 for the Gardinia and Colon Cleanse Elite. I called my VISA company thinking that someone had stolen my VISA # and they informed me of the scam of this with the 14 day trials, need to cancel within that time period, etc, etc….I emailed the companies several times but never had any response so finally found a phone # from a patron above and called it. After pretty much arguing with the customer service rep on the phone, he offered me a 30% credit back to my VISA and I asked if he could do better so he asked his supervisor and 50% credit back was agreed to.
    The phone # I used was 1-888-960-9291 and let’s hope that the refund comes through!
    Have learnt my lesson and will NEVER do this ever again!! Buyer beware!!!

    When you call the numbers and speak with the customer service reps you will definitely feel more frustrated and will not get anywhere with them. The key is to get Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) numbers and return their products ASAP to the address they will give you and make sure you get a tracking number!

    Also, there’s an excellent website that you must try to get resolution and your money back:

    You will fill out a form with your complaint and they will get back to you quite fast.
    Let’s pass this on and warn others! Must importantly I hope this information I am providing helps others to get their money back. In the end, you will have to pay for shipping to return the pills and a “restocking fee” they will charge you but it’s better than loosing $89 + dollars!!!!

  16. Hi…so I read all the comments here, feeling stupid and not realizing that they would be charging me $87 + tax in 17 days, after the purchase of the FREE TRIAL of garcinia cambogia elite. I saw that they offered a one month supply and thought – hey lets try the free trial- + shipping fees. I received the bottle within 2 days! Then I started reading comments, I ended up calling the customer support line ( 18889609291 ). I stated that I did not want to be charged 87+ tax in one month. She then went on to tell me that I actually will be getting charged 87 in 17 days because the trial period is only 17 days. I told her that makes no sense, as they are offering a FREE TRIAL…not a “Free Trial, and we actually secretly charge you in 3 weeks” SCAM. She told me the only way to cancel the charges is to return the bottle, which I said no to.. i still paid shipping on the free trial bottle, why am i going to return i?
    I as on the phone for about 15 minutes, she just kept repeating the same thing over and over, that i need to return the bottle. I finally said, “No I need your name, and I need to talk to someone in a higher position then you” She put me on hold for 5 minutes, comes back to phone and was completely in a different attitude, (not snarky or yelling at me anymore) she then said that her manager said that they will cancel the charges without me returning the bottle.

    MORAL – read fine print, and if purchased, do not deal with the customer support people, try to go higher up, we should not have to return the FREE TRIAL bottles that we signed up for.

    • That’s exactly what I did – when you order a free sample, only having to pay for the postage – I got a call from them within a day of that free trial order and told them that it was a Trial, and that if I wanted to order any more I would – and I don’t, had no intention of ordering it at all. I was very clear with them during the first phone call that NO further charges were authorized to my credit card, unless I made them. They put a charge through on my credit card, that took me WAY over my balance. I Never go over my limit – but this _company_ did. Fortunately, it’s a Pending Transaction, I spoke with my credit card co, told them this was not authorized and I wanted it declined. I called this supremeGarcinia people, I have a hearing disability, couldn’t understand the accent with my word discrimination problem, but, yes, they were following a script, offering me up to 75% off – I told them I wasn’t going to pay a thing for anything I didn’t order. I think what they try and to (given my hearing problem limitations), is, yes, it’s a free trial for 30 days, according to their advertising, but what they try and do is bill you for the product that was the free trial – at least that’s the Rep tried to say – I think?. I did record them, because I don’t understand what people say – especially with any accents and they are too loud, and they speak too fast – this is just my life in general in terms of using a phone. Despite repeated requests, the Customr Service Rep declined to speak slowly and clearly to accommodate for my hearing – it was a nightmare. I managed to get an RMA return merchandise number (I hope), and order numbers (I hope) and they want their product back – which means, that if I want it tracked – and I do, I have to pay for that. This is just SUCH A RIP OFF. They gave me the Steeles Ave, North York, ON address to return it to, which I will do when I can. They were NEVER authorized to bill my credit card past that free trial. Of note is that the Customer Service Rep declined to give me the name of the company, just the address, when I asked her what the name of the company was, her response was.. “yes, there is a name”, it was a nightmare version of Abbott and Costello “who’s on first”, I said no company name is “yes” or “no”… It’s A SCAM AND RIP OFF. It sure doesn’t help an anxiety disorder to be worried your credit card has been hijacked – and that exactly what they are doing by putting through unauthorized charges – hijacking you. 🙁

I’ve been reading though the other complaints, and, while I’m OK with returning the product, it has to be trackable, as, given this company’s track record, it’s the only way to prove I returned it – that will cost me about $30.00. Having said that, one of the other posters said that it was a free trial for 30 days (the scam being they go ahead and pile on additional unauthorized charges to your credit card/bank account, etc.). But if I ordered a free trial, do I have to return it? I just don’t see why I should be out of $30.00 because they are engaging in fraud, which is I believe, a criminal charge. The RCMP to have an online electronic fraud complaint section, you can submit too online. And, as others have mentioned, the Better Business Bureau. I’m not even sure I heard them correctly, or will be able to understand any better if I listen to the recording I made, just to protect myself because of my hearing disability. it’s the same person, same accent, same speed. I have 30 and 60% word discrimination. I’m scared to death this will be an ongoing battle with these people. I want those charges on my credit card reversed, and then, I want them to go away and Leave Me Alone!

    I was also scammed with this free trial slogan but the only difference is I did not get the products at all. I signed on through the deceiving advertisment and the very next day phoned my bank and they informed me that R867 was debited off my credit card. I immediately instructed them never to allow another debit order to these people and they informed me that I should phone them to cancel and request a refund. I phoned the numer 18889609291 to cancel this order and they asked me to wait until I get my package then send it back to them with an RMA number and they will then do a refund. To date I did not receive the parcel and also did not receive my refund. I am glad to be legalwise so I am just handing this over to them. I will also go to econsumerservices.com and get some help. This is ridulous to have people like this who actually steals from us who works so hard for our money.

  24. Such a scam! Luckily I read these comments before I got extra charges. I called my bank and they said I had to get a cancellation number and shipping number to prove if I got extra charges. I called the company, I didn’t want to particularly send the trial back, I wanted to try. I spoke with someone who could hardly speak English, I could hear myself echoing back the whole time, and had phones ringing in my ear. I told they guy it was a scam, giving a 14 day free trial, but supplying 30 days. He kept saying it wasn’t a scam, but when I said to him they only give 14 days, but do not provide 14 day trials, only 30 and trick you into paying he quietly said yes. I told him lawyers would soon be in touch, and cancelled my credit card. Such bull! And, it isn’t even the pure pills, they have fillers like calcium and only 50% HCA, where it should be 60 or more.

  26. I sooo wish that i had found this page a few weeks back. Exact same story as all the ones above. I ordered the “free sample” June 1st, received it June 3rd and yesterday on June 22nd, $107 was charged to my credit card. I called every 2 hours today to try and get a RMA number so i could return the sample (I never even opened them) and every time they told me their servers were down and i had to call back in 2 hours. I suspect that they are doing this to hinder people from being able to return items. They can’t look anything up with regards to your account, they can’t give you an RMA, they can’t provide you with a return address to send the bottle back. All seems to work out well on their end!. I cannot believe i fell for this and i feel like such a moron!

Went on the 14 day trial, paid for posting, received it, realized that I’m breast feeding before it has an affect on my child, I have not even open it to try it because was waiting to see if my doctor says if it is safe to use for breast feeding. The next thing I know my account has been charge of $109.99 AUD before the 14 days trail ended.

    I called them up to get a refund and cancel, the guy who I talked to told me that he can not found my information and that i should call up my bank.

    I told the asshole that I’m on the other line with my bank, I’m looking at my bank transaction that has you guys taking $109.99 out and I have your website up, so tell me how in the name of hell you guys don’t have my info but taking money out of my account.

    He kept repeating himself saying that I should contact my bank.

    Best option for me is to tell my bank to block them, if they can’t I’ll have to shout down that bank account. I can’t keep paying for something I can not use.

  28. Yes, this is a worldwide scam. This company goes under several names. Looks like any organised crime ring. Have informed my country’s Fraud Squad and they have given me a crime number. The police know about the workings of this company and are working with Interpol. My bank has blocked any future payments. If any payment should get taken my bank will reimburse me within 24 hours.
    Also cancel the card you used and get a replacement one.
    In England we have a Trading Standards department and we are being advised to inform this department as this company breaks all standards. If your country has a Trading Standards or equivalent get in touch with them. In the meantime, send an email to Garcinium company, or whatever name they have gone under cancelling any further orders from them. Keep all emails sent to them or from them as proof for the bank or police fraud investigators should they need to see them.

  30. BIGGEST SCAM EVER ! They start counting the 14 days from the day they call you, not from the day you recieve it. Sending these bottles back and reporting it to my credit card company. PLUS it has chromium which is terrrrrible for your heart. Don’t fall for their scam. Not only do they ask you to send it back before the trial is over in order for you not to get charged, but they are extremely rude. They gave me a fake number also.   32. I too, confess, I was scammed. I was doing what I thought was research on the product and I came across a Good Housekeeping article. Of course, now I know, it was not actually an article in Good Housekeeping, but a fraud page that looked like Good Housekeeping. It reported the author’s results and Dr. Oz’s endorsements etc. Little did I know, it was really this company. $4.95 for the shipping which I thought was the first month. I did this for both the garcinia cambogia product, and Nature’s Fit Colon Cleanse — both outlined in the “article”. And then I saw I was charged $87.53 for the garcinia cambogia and $87.95 for the colon cleanse. No where in the ad or the terms and conditions, does it mention these costs for the monthly subscription. And of course, 12 days after I was charged the $4.95, they charged me again. They say the “trial” runs from the order date; I didn’t receive the items until June 25. It leaves you feeling so stupid.

I attempted to obtain a return number but my email was never responded to and the number listed on their website was out of service the day I called. I tried several times. I was called a liar yesterday. I am curious if anyone else attempted to call and the number was out of service? My calls were placed on July 3,2014

    I finally wound up returning the product without the number and they are lying saying they don’t have it even though Canada post says they do. So I have no product and no refund. I am seriously thinking of having a lawyer draft a letter. It will cost all of the 200 I was billed but it’s the principal at this point.

  36. I also was taken by this scam. I was in a hurry that day and thought it looked good. I thought it was a 30 day free trial. I hadn’t even opened the product yet and was charged $150. I called right away and I was able to get through to someone using the number off the packing slip 800-862-5212. However, they were very little help. They refused to give me a refund. They told me that they could give me a $75 refund but I had to try the product then call back on August 5th or they would charge me again. Over and over I told her I wanted to cancel. I finally hung up. She called me back, which I didn’t hear and she left me a voicemail that reiterated what she said. That I agreed that I would call back on the 5th of August or they would bill on August 6th.Today I sent an email to support@garcambplus.com telling them the tracking number of the Fedex Package that I sent of the product today and telling them to cancel my account and that I wanted a refund. I also told them that I contacted the BBB and my attorney as well. It is terrible they can get away with this. Not sure what to do next.

    Don’t order the products unless you want to waste your time with on the phone with customer service and end up having the mail the product back.

    I ordered it thinking it’d be an “okay” process, but it’s turned into a nightmare.

    Here’s my experiences with this piece of —- company:
    -Ordered 2 products
    -Paid $5 for the shipping of each
    -Read the Terms and Conditions hidden on their website
    -Called to cancel my order
    -Was told they would cancel without refunding the shipping costs
    -So I told them to ship it anyways
    -Received the product
    -Called a few days later to cancel the order
    -Was told to ship my product back to Dermajuvenate (who is Dermajuvenate?!)
    -I have 30 days to make sure the product gets back so I don’t get charged
    -I’m not allowed to take any more of the product because they suck

  42. They start counting the 14 days from the day they call you, not from the day you receive it. Sending this bottle back and I have called and reporting it to my credit card company. Don’t fall for their scam. Not only do they ask you to send it back before the trial is over in order for you not to get charged, but they are extremely rude. Here’s the real number for support. The man that I was dealing with kept saying he could not hear me so I should call back any other time .

  44. My husband ordered this with my credit card. I just called to cancel on the 13th day after ordering the Garcinia Cambogia Elite and the Natural Colon Cleanse Elite. After being on hold for awhile I got a RMA’s for both products and got emails to confirm both RMA’s. No address was given so I’m going to email them now to get the return address. They said I had 30 days to return but I’m sending out register mail tomorrow so that I have mail confirmation that the received the bottles, minus the 14 days supply since I’ve already paid for the 14 day trial. I haven’t checked my cc statement yet so not sure if charged. I will update once my next cc statement comes in. Hopefully and thanks to this website I’ve stopped any outrageous charges.

    • I sent the product back by registered mail with the emails containing the RMA which I received before the 14 days. I sent them via registered mail and the were signed for on Aug. 14, 2014. I received my cc statement this week and only the shipping cost was on it. So it appears all is well, however, I will wait to see my next statement and report back if I have any further charges.

  49. I called these people after receiving a bottle in the mail. They tried to argue with me about returning the product, offered me $40 off retail of $70. Finally got a RA# and they said they’d give me a refund after receiving it. I did NOT see any fine print about automatic shipments. This is a SCAM and call ahead if you ordered. Also if you ordered anything else off that offer as there sending automatic shipments as well. I called my cc and they had charged over $400 on it, I was thankfully able to cancel it. But Please be Careful. No more free trials for me as they don’t show the small print its more like hidden.

Just called to cancel and the guy was very calm, sure he tried to get me to continue with it because if I did then it would be 50% off the actual price but I just told him no I want it cancelled, he gave me both RMA numbers for the garcinia and the coloncleanse elite bottles and gave me the address and said if I send these back within 30days of today, then I will not be charged for them, awesome! The only question I have is the address was the same as the one given at the top of this site except instead of Garcinia Elite he told me to put Dermajuvenate. Does it matter if I put Dermajuvenate or Garcinia Elite??

Tried calling the number that was provided on the invoice for the free trail and was told that the call volume was real high so I hung up called my cc company and told them what was going on. Thank God the rep was able to reverse the transaction because it was still pending, all and all had to cancel my card and order a new one, because they could still try and charge me. Total SCAM!!!!!

  54. Yeah, when I order these I just so happened to accidentally scroll down and seen the fine print saying if I didnt cancel my subscription in 14 days that id be charged 89 dollars. So I received my package and on about day 4 I called them to cancel (a trail is a trail, not a try this then pay us) the guy on the phone sounded like a robot, he just kept repeating the same useless things. He told me in order to cancel my subscription I have to send back the bottles unopened. Im like, wtf. ?? Instantlyi got mad, he keeps saying “well miss you have to pay for the products” or send them back unopened. I said I already threw them in the garbage and and that theyvare theives and they wont see a dime from me.     I just got the product yesterday and I did not try the product yet so I cannot speak about the effectiveness. I thought the product was really free and you only pay shipping and handling. They should let people know that they charge for the ‘free trial’ and the ‘free trial’ is not free at all. I got my first order in, I just wanted to try it and didn’t want to get auto charged. I called as soon as I got the product to cancel the auto charge/shipping. The customer service representatives said he has to charge me, I cannot just cancel. He gave me discount and I had to pay $19.50 per bottle (I got two). I was really disappointed and I feel like they should let people know the truth. This is false advertisement.

    • You need to call your credit card company give them the order number of the cancellation you received by email from the scam company. Talk to the dispute department. If you have the confirmation # they will reverse the charge. After speaking with my credit card company they have advised me that even if you cancel your card and request a new one they can still charge your account. They also advised me they are receiving many complaints about this.

  67. Well, I too was scammed and don’t know why I fell for this! I ordered the free trial and then found this site. I sent an email to the company to cancel and was told they would respond within 24-48 hours. I didn’t want to wait that long so I immediately called the customer service number they provide to cancel. It was a recording (of course no human contact) and it offered the option to cancel my order. I hit that option and at the end of the “conversation”, it stated I would be charged $38.71! I had just placed my original order less than an hour to my cancelling and know the bottle had not been shipped. Fifteen minutes later when I finally got a human, I told him I want to cancel all products and he reiterated the charge! I asked him what I was being charged for and he said it was the early cancellation that I agreed to!!! Really. After I got a little irate, he put me on hold and came back and said he’ll give me $20.00 off that! Once I started telling him they are committing fraud and that I will be reporting them, he refunded the entire $38.71.
    I have really learned my lesson, I don’t know why I even went against my gut to begin with.
    I will be calling my bank shortly to ensure I don’t get charged any further from this company. Ugh.

Ofcourse I didn’t look up online that this is a huge scam and decides to charge you ananother 70$ or so in a couple weeks. Luckily I purchased this on my visa debit and as soon as I read the reviews I called my bank and cancelled my debit so that I could get a new card the next day.. That way the company could not try and take more money from me down the roa without my knowledge . Word of warning people.. Read reviews before purchasing something you think is too good to be true.

  75. Made the mistake of trying the trial offer for $4.99 back in October. Tried to use my card today and was told I had insufficient funds. Credit union shows there was a charge for $79.95 on the second of November which I not only did not authorize, but never received anything to show me it had been made. No email and no product. Got another charge today, not authorized. Called my credit union and told them I do not authorize any more charges from them, may have to get a new card if they cannot stop this. Called the number 1-877-320-8843 and was told account was canceled, good bye, and they hung up. Called the number the credit union gave me 596-860-3743 which turns out to be non working. It was the number the bank had off the charge. Knew in my gut I should not have tried this. Major scam.

After reading these reviews I didn’t even want to try to contact the company to get a refund (though maybe I should have). Instead I called my bank right away and told them I didn’t want to be charged by this company any more. They registered my card as “stolen” and will be sending a new one so this crap company can no longer charge me. Terrible scam.

  83. I purchased the free trial (just pay shipping) of the garcinia cambogia and green coffee bean. Less than 3 weeks later I am being charged $242 on my bank statement! I called to have a refund and at first they said that’s not possible you’re over the 14 day free trial period, then they said they could refund me $100 but in gift certificates toward their products, then they said they’d refund 15%, then 30%, then 50% and finally when I told them I read on the Internet what a scam this was, they asked if the bottles were unopened and then offered to refund me for the entire purchase, minus $9.95 “restocking fee”. I had to call a different number for each product and was finally given 2 RMA (return merchandise authorization) numbers and the address to send the products back to.

    They’ll give you the run around and all kinds of offers for partial reimbursement but stay calm, tell them you’ve read up on the scam they are pulling, and they will change their tune very quickly and offer to refund you in full.

    Tell them to send CONFIRMATION emails stating you will not be charged for any ongoing or future charges and confirmation of the RMA numbers as well as the shipping address for the returns!

    Assholes. I have a kid to feed.

      • I had to use Canada Post… They offer tracking and actually as soon as Elite gets it you should call them and give them the tracking number – they will process the refund immediately. They tried to scam me by not refunding the sales tax but when I asked them their tax ID number they spoke to their supervisor and offered to refund it. If you don’t ask for their tax id they will try to keep it and give you all kinds of excuses but tell them you’ll report them and they change their tone immediately…

  84. I checked my account and realized the same thing just happened to me. And of course was refused a refund.

    However I found a few things interesting. First, it states you will be charged after the completion of your 14 day trial period. I was charged within my free trial period. But when I brought this this to their attention, the man told me that I could call on the last day of my trial. What! Where does it say that? Also there is nothing that states a restocking fee, or that the product has to be unopened. Which is what I was also told in order to receive a refund.

    I have file a suit with the top class action website. It’s free and just takes a minute, please do so if you find the same things have happened in your case. In the meantime, technically if you are charged within you trial period the charges are fraudulent and you should cancel your cards immediately and disbute it.

At 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning, I received an email stating they were charging my acct 98.27. I immediately tried to call them, but voice mail said they were closed on weekends. I tried to email and email came back undeliverable. My bank is also closed. So I emailed my bank and then reported my debit card “lost”. Then I started investigating and found this site. I was unaware of the supposed charges after 14 days. Well, today, Sunday is the 14th day and my bank shows 3 charges pending, from 3 separate places. I feel helpless since everyone is closed. I have a sick feeling that I am going to have to eat the 300.00 loss, but in no way are they getting anymore. But I would be interested in suing these people. They did try telling me that they couldn’t find my account tried multiple phone numbers, spelling of my name and searching for my email. I also recorded my entire phone call and told the woman that the call was being recorded. I tried to get their head office address or contact information for the owners and was told there is no head office and no one to talk to other than customer service. I would not let them off the phone so the woman offered me a 50% refund. I didn’t want to take it. I wanted 100% back but I guess that’s the lesson learned and 50% is better than nothing. Where is the Canadian Consumer Protection from scams like this?

I did have to pay 39.85 for cancelation, however it is better then others who had to pay more and had stuff automatically billed.   92. This company is a COMPLETE SCAM. Do not EVER order these products. I have no idea whether or not they work because I haven’t even used them (they probably don’t). I agreed to pay the $10.00 to have the trial sizes shipped to me and now I have just found an additional 220.49$ charge on my credit card for something that I did not authorize. I will be filing a complaint with my credit card company and I will never order from these bandits again. The sales representative tried to offer me a discount on future purchases but those motherfu**ers are never getting another cent from me. I asked if I could return the product (unused/unopened) for a refund and he said that is not possible. This is completely insane. I called and cancelled both of my accounts with them so that no further charges will be recorded. I will make sure my credit card company blocks this company from ever charging me again in the future as well. BUYER BEWARE – apparently its all in the fine print, but I have my doubts about that too as I am an avid fine print reader. Bullsh*t is what it is. I just had my credit card company close my credit card an hour ago because even if I had ALL purchases blocked that day that I cancelled the trial (I was still within the trial period), these scammers still managed to charge me $174. I was charged that amount on the very day I cancelled the trial. I even got a cancellation confirmation number!!! The credit card company said that the charge was already pending even before I had the card blocked. I was so mad. I mean, they already charged me even if I was just starting on the trial!!! My credit card company advised me to close the account immediately so they will not be able to post “pending”charges. Hope this will work because I had to pay the damn 174 to close the account.

  93. I’m not sure how the rest of you got your samples but I used a debit card. I didn’t realize until last night though that they were charging me full price (2 times in total) but I was able to cancel the card so they couldn’t take anymore money. The lady at my bank told me that doing so should do the trick which is nice because I can’t find a direct website or anything for these people. I didn’t create an account with them so that’s one less thing I have to try deleting. I’ll know next week when they try charging me again if this worked. If not then I’m not sure what I can do. The only other option that I see is cancelling my account entirely and starting over brand new.

Phoned MasterCard today and they phoned the place, so all three of us are on the phone. Very interesting the guy couldn’t hear me how convenient that was. Started Ordered Dec. 8,2014, ordered the free trial. Then oh got one the other day thinking red flag, phoned to talk to them, just a recording, cancelled thru recording. Get my mc statement yesterday they have charged me $200 plus. On Jan. 29 and Dec. 1. Not happy, hence phoning my MasterCard co. to say charges I did not authorize, they said was it a free trial thing I said yes, oh great. More to the story I couldn’t get in to see my doctor until Jan. 24 to ask if I could take, he said no. Then when on phone I find out got charged another $200 plus end of January. Not happy over $400. I am charged. Told MasterCard I tried phoning them and just got a recorded message. There good. The MasterCard rep told the story to the guy, my doctor said she can’t take it, they will refund $188. I saw that a charge of 87.90 was processing on my account so I called to cancel. It has been 13 days to my account. First call to a lady named Theresa. She at first tried to extend my trial since I wanted to cancel and said the $87.90 would be pushed back. Then she said let me check with my supervisor to make sure that it would be pushed back since it was processing. She comes back and says no that it can’t and they can’t give me a refund. It is in the terms 14 days! I demanded to speak with her supervisor. She put me on hold. Came back and said that the supervisor goes by the same terms as her and there was nothing they could do. I demanded to speak to a supervisor and then she hung up on me. I then called my back they are going to help me with a dispute once it is posted. I called back and talked to a Caesar who said he was a supervisor. He told me the same thing and was very rude. I told him I wanted an address to send the pills back to and he said I couldn’t because it is outside the trial period and I now own them. SCAM BEWARE!! The number I called was 1-800-530-7050.

My mom talked me out of taking the pills to lose weight and said that I should exercise. I called and cancel and I was told that they wouldn’t charge me. After one night I was checking my account and noticed that Garcinia Cambodia took 89.53 and I wasn’t gonna have this bullshit. I called my bank and got my money back

  99. I too got caught into this nightmare. Mine was part of a “gift” for participating in a survey. My gift turned out to cost me a boatload…and the same thing with all the other comments so far….I got CHARGED to cancel this automatic BS.

    Automatic shipments should be banned….I cancelled by credit card that had the survey because I was so ticked off with them. I don’t even care if the stuff works. I’ll diet and exercise….

  100. I can’t find any tracks on the website I ordered from or a receipt for the shipping payment. What a nightmare! I wish I would have seen this website and remarks before I ordered the free trial! I am caught up in this scam as well. I thought I read the fine print but was shocked when I was charged $87.90 for the trial bottle. After calling customer support, I thought I was told that they would give me a 50% credit but instead was charged another $43.95! My gosh!! I can’t believe they can get away with this. Adding insult to injury I discovered you can buy the good stuff on amazon for about $25 per bottle. This 60% Garcinia Elite can’t even compete. I did get a cancellation number but I am worried after reading that these other consumers were billed much more. I wish I had some info to help shut this seller down.

    The $4.99 offer is actually $4.99 and if you don’t send it back within a short amount of time another $99.99 is charged to your card. You are actually paying $105. Then they charged me another $99.99 and it was 2 weeks before the merchandise was received with no instructions on how to return and no invoice showing that I had been billed. I would have called right away, unfortunately I was down with double pneumonia through the end of Feb and have just started recovering. I called today – 3/15/15 and found out that I should have a total of 3 bottles and that the only one that I could send back was the March bottle which I have not even received. I complained and was totally upset. A supervisor did refund the March charge and 1/2 of the Feb charge – for which I am grateful. The only problem – after all of that – the pills did not even work for me. It Is a scam to get you to pay 3x what each bottle is worth and get you in over a barrel. Don’t do it! Of course I missed that fine print part where it said “We’ll charge you after the 14 day trial period.” I looked at my checking account one day to see a huge charge for both. I called the company, was treated very rudely. Yes, I was upset but the girl kept interrupting me and would not let me ask questions or finish sentences. I asked if I could have a refund & she told me I signed the terms & conditions when I clicked to buy the vitamins. I told her no where on the page was a place to click that I agreed to terms and conditions. I clicked to buy a 4.95 shipping and handling fee for a bottle of vitamins. I also asked if I could return the bottles. She asked if they were opened? Of course they were opened how did she expect me to try them out? In the end she would not answer some of my questions, tried yelling over me( & I wasn’t yelling at this girl either, she was reading from her cue cards & I’m assuming this BC as I’ve read on here it sounds like a lot of people are unhappy.) and ended up hanging up on me, telling me she was ending the call. Thank you Jessica and your great customer service. If I had done that at my job I would have been fired on the spot! I deal with upset, irate people everyday, and hanging up on them is definitely not the way to handle the situation.

I tried to call another number and they said they were closed until 11. I am just a mom of two trying to lose some weight.     • Call this number, 1-877-970-1538. They had two different numbers, because I also got the green coffee pills, which actually seem to be doing something. Since I’m now “stuck” with this product, I feel like I must really try to lose weight, really the old-fashioned way. Healthier eating and exercise. That, along with these pills, will help me look better, and feel better. My money is gone, and that’s a fact. So I must make the most of it. I’m still really PISSED OFF though!   119. If you do get charged and want a refund, Don’t take no or a substitute for an answer. I just found the charges and fought on the phone with a manager for 28 minutes and he finally said he’d give me a refund but hung up on me afterwards. If you take the refund they offer then you’ll have no other recourse I refused to say yes or no to the refund and told him I’d call back, he didn’t want that so he finally gave in. It’s an absolute scam adding the terms and conditions in small print not sending any email information or letter with the product. The idea is to charge you and then offer a tiny refund. I’m also contacting the Better Business Bureau about this as well

The company charged me $30.11. I called emmediatly and got 4 separate Cancellation numbers. I waited 7 days and my money was not refunded yet. So, I proceeded to call the company and the guy was very rude and he hung up on me. So, I called back again and gave the man my Cancellation Numbers. He was polite to me and my refund was back in my Checking Account in 3-4 days.

    You have to be willing to go toe to toe with some of these companies. I did and I got my money back.

I got the trial offer with a $50 gift voucher for gas at any station and I got attracted by that and called saverscity.ca and they took away around $4 to send me the voucher to download by email. When I downloaded, $50 was discount for $500 purchase! I came to know all these fraud. Immediately called the customer support and she told i am fortunately within 14 days and nothing is charged more than the shipment! When i told to cancel she did and told me to send the shipped bottle back and while providing the address she disconnected. i called them back and when the call landed she immediately disconnected. I got offended. Then i received the cancellation email and when i called again the automated system gave me the return shipping address with the RMA number in canada. Its all pain now. I am planning to return the bottle in person so that i am not charged for the return shipping. I got the mailing address as P.O. Box 500, RPO, Steeles West, North york, M3J0J8. I need to ship within Jan 11th, 2016. But i am planning to return in person so that i am not getting charged for the shipment. If anyone knows address to return in person within GTA please let me know. I called even my bank and told them to be vigilant about these guys and to stop……

    • My wife agreed to accept a free trial offer and pay only $4.00 for shipping. She did not authorize any other charges. We were then charged $180 per month. We were charged $90 per month from 2 different companies. First 2 companies were LTH Garcinia and JD5. The following month the company names changed to ARC and DK1 and billed $90 each. I call my credit card company and they were well aware of the scam. The representative advised me that she received numerous calls that very day advising of the same problem. She then called Garcinia with me on the phone. They would not give the company address. The Garcinia rep would not give us a supervisor. I asked for a copy of any documents or recording of the phone call establishing we authorized the charges and they said they would get back to us. The credit card company told me that they would mark the order as canceled and that I could file a dispute if any further charges were made. Forget that, I am now canceling the card as these companies will no doubt just change names again and charge it. I am also going to see what can be done legally.

  145. This is what worked for me to have charges removed. I hope it works for you also.

    I ordered the pills also on May 5, reading carefully and seeing absolutely no indication that it was a continuing subscription, so I thought it was safe. I got nervous though when I couldn’t reach them by phone, so I called my credit card company which was Visa. We have not even received this bill yet, but on May 19, they posted two charges of $86 each!! The cc lady said the cc company would contest it for me, but still the best thing was for me to cancel the card and then wait for a new one with a new number. Inconvenient but it worked. Within 36 hours I had letters from the company saying my funds would be re-instated and my “subscription” was cancelled. Perhaps I did not need to cancel the card because I never expected such a quick response and it does seem final and I have all the documentation now. I have not received the product yet but may still receive it. It didn’t even say I had to return it. If you do return it, do not open the package at all. Take it to your PO and say package is refused and PO will return it. It is a good idea to put tracking on the package so you can prove you sent it back.

    You will get a lot further getting your credit card company to help you than dealing with the company. I am not sure if we are all dealing with the same company or not, but as long as you paid by cc, that is your best way to get your money back.

  147. I ordered the “free” trial but became suspect when I had to order a bottle of their cleanse as well.
    Called my credit card and explained the situation and not to accept any new charges. Then , I called the 800 number for the third time and got a hold of someone who said he would cancel the auto pay. So called the cc again and they are sending a new card and I destroyed the old one. I indicated about the scam again. Guess I should have read all the above comments BEFORE I ordered. I took just the one cleanse pill and it acted like a laxative. No harm done but will not use the Garcinia pills at all .

  148. I can hardly believe someone would do this to anyone, just deduct such a large amount from a retired woman who doesn’t have enough to pay her rent. I am trying now to get my refund, but keep getting the run around. I pray I can get it refunded or I could be homeless

  149. I, too ordered this product, thinking it was $4.95 for a 30 day trial. NOWHERE on their website did it say anything about calling within 14 days to cancel your “subscription!!.” Just got off the phone with them and ,supposedly, they are crediting my account 35% of the $87.31 they charged. I am going to cancel my credit card and get my bank to re-issue it, because I don’t trust that this company will not continue to charge my credit card in the future.

  150. I read the comments prior to buying into the trial. Glad I did. My question is “What is Doc Oz getting from these people.” Some sort of pay out. I would think he would make sure the terms are clear. Why would he promote a scam like this. Makes me wonder how credible he is.

  151. this product is a scam I tried it and I did not lose one single pound and what’s worse is they charged my acct. a ridiculous amount of money for it.I would have never paid that amount had I known they would take it out.. Never again its a lesson learned. shame on this company!!!

  152. After doing some research, I have discovered, that, (in Canada), this practice is ILLEGAL. Google “Negative Option Billing Regulations”:
    As outlined below, none of these ‘trial offer’ scams, operate, as per THE LAW OF CANADA.

    They are counting on the vast majority of consumers NOT INVESTIGATING.
    I am perplexed as to why my credit card company was not aware of these restrictions, but, will be providing them with this information today. Having this information, PROVES, THAT FRAUD HAS BEEN COMMITTED AND THEY ARE NOT WORKING WITHIN FEDERAL REGULATIONS!!! Chances are, that I, (nor anyone else), will not have success, in dealing with these companies directly, HOWEVER, it would stand to reason, that, (once brought to the attention of any credit card company):
    1/ the fact, that these companies are actively committing FRAUD, and
    2/ the fact, that these companies are actually BREAKING THE LAW,
    will give no option, (whatsoever), to the credit card companies to reverse the charges.

    3 (1) Before providing a person with a new primary financial or optional product or service, an institution must first obtain the person’s express consent to do so, either orally or in writing.
