Whenever a weight loss ingredient is featured on the Dr Oz Show sales of supplement containing the said ingredient usually increases ten-fold. Such was the case with Garcinia Cambogia.
Unfortunately despite being proven to aid your own weight loss efforts there are those who have not been impressed with their choice of supplement.
For example those who have signed up for the ‘risk free trial’ of Garcinium have ended up paying more than they originally expected.
So what is wrong with Garcinium, lets look at this supplement in more detail to see what the issues are.
Claims made by Garcinium
The following claims have been made on the Garcinium website:
- 100% guarantee
- Dissolve fat from your body
- Lose belly fat
- Lose between 20-40 pounds without having to change your diet
To be honest these claims seem a little unrealistic and I would be wary about trying any supplement that claims to help you lose as much as 50 pounds without making any dietary changes.
Even if true any weight lost will soon return once you stop using the supplement, which is why you should always make changes to your diet and get regular exercise alongside the use of a supplement to ensure you not only lose the weight, but also keep it off.
Ingredients of Garcinium
Each Garcinium capsule is said to contain 500 mg of Garcinia Cambogia, with no fillers or binders. There is no mention of the percentage of HCA present.
Although claiming to be ‘the finest Garcinia Cambogia available’ this is doubtful as you would expect to see how much HCA is in the formula.
Also, 500 mg is a little low as there are plenty of alternatives available on the market with as much as 1000 mg of Garcinia Cambogia per capsule.
Cost of Garcinium
The biggest issue with Garcinium is its cost as although you may believe the trial is free this is not the case.
Signing up will cost an initial £5.99, but shockingly after the 14 day trial period has elapsed you will be charged £89.99 or $99.99 if you are in the US/Canada.
You will also find that every month thereafter you will receive another package of Garcinium with another hefty bill.
Is Garcinium a scam?
The payment terms of Garcinium are hidden away in the T&Cs, which as you know no one ever reads.
Those who sign up for this trial are no doubt going to feel aggrieved at having to pay so much and are likely to call this product a scam.
