Is the Green Coffee Tone trial a scam?

Is the Green Coffee Tone trial a scam?

Since featuring on the Dr Oz Show last year sales of supplements containing Green Coffee Beans have exploded with a seemingly endless number of products being produced.

Unfortunately despite the fat burning abilities not everyone has been happy with their purchase.

The reason is that some products are being offered as a trial, which although tempting as they are often claimed to be free, in reality you will be charged an excessive amount and probably be signed up for an auto ship program.

Green Coffee Tone is available as a trial and as with other trial products there is a growing number of online complaints that it is a scam.

In this review we are going to look at this supplement in more detail, to see if it has any redeeming features or if it is as claimed a scam that you should avoid.

Claimed benefits of Green Coffee Tone

The following claims have been made on the Green Coffee Tone website:

  • Lose body fat
  • 100% natural
  • Free from drugs
  • 100% satisfaction guaranteed

Ingredients of Green Coffee Tone

It is pleasing to see that Green Coffee Tone contains 800 mg of pure Green Coffee Beans. This means that should you try it you should see some results, especially when combined with a healthy diet and regular exercise.

With this in mind why are so many people claiming to be unhappy with their Green Coffee Tone trial?

Price of Green Coffee Tone

Although there is no mention of price on the homepage of the Green Coffee Tone website if you look in their terms and conditions you will see that the trial will only cost $4.99.

Unlike most trial offers Green Coffee Tone is only for 12 days, which does not give you much time to adequately try out the product.

What is more worrying is that once the 12 days have elapsed you will be charged a quite incredible $89.95.

This is too much to be paying for any Green Coffee Bean supplement, especially when you read that you will be charged this amount every month thereafter until your membership is cancelled.

Those who do not read the terms and conditions before signing up for the trial will probably be in for a shock once they received their bank statement.

Is Green Coffee Tone a scam?

Although the terms and conditions of the trial are clearly laid out there are still going to be claims that Green Coffee Tone is a scam.

They are not doing anything illegal, and you will find many other manufacturers using the same sales techniques.

For this reason you should always read the terms and conditions before signing up for any trial, or best of all avoid them altogether.

Alternative to Green Coffee Tone

A proven and significantly cheaper alternative to Green Coffee Tone is Svetol Green Coffee, which is sold online by Evolution Slimming for just $39.

This supplement is made with the exact type of Green Coffee Bean recommended by Dr Oz himself (Svetol).

It contains 50% GCA and contains less than 2% caffeine, which is much less than other Green Coffee supplements, meaning that it is much safer to use too.
