Is the HIP Yacon trial a scam?

Is the HIP Yacon trial a scam?

Healthy Island Products (we will call them HIP from now on) have recently launched a Yacon supplement that you can trial, but should you give them your bank account details as trial offers such as these are often called a scam.

Is there anything that sets this trial apart from the others? I guess the only way to find out is by looking at the supplement and the offer in more detail.

Claimed benefits of HIP Yacon

According to their website HIP Yacon can provide the following benefits:

  • Burn fat quicker and more efficiently
  • Helps stop fat from being made
  • Suppresses your appetite
  • Boosts your metabolism

With claims like this no wonder so many people are enticed into signing up for trial offers without reading the terms and conditions of the offer.

Whether this supplement can do what it claims to do remains to be seen, the only way to find out its effectiveness is by looking at its ingredients.

Ingredients found in HIP Yacon

While there are numerous mentions of this supplement containing 100% yacon root extract there is no mention of the dosage, which is unfortunate as without this information there is no way of knowing whether their claims are accurate or not.

When choosing a supplement you should always look out for a label, or at the very least information on its ingredients and dosage. How else would you know if it worked or not?

Cost of HIP Yacon

Like so many trial offers HIP Yacon are being a little deceptive as they are hiding the true cost of the trial.

You will often see similar trial offers with the payment terms hidden away in the T&Cs, HIP Yacon is no different.

When you first sign up there is going to be a charge for postage, then 14 days after you will be charged the full purchase price.

Whats different from those other trial offers is that there is not one mention of what the postage cost is, nor the full purchase price. You are effectively allowing the manufacturer to charge you whatever they feel.

You will also find that you will be sent further monthly packages until your subscription to they’re ‘monthly customer loyalty program’ is cancelled.

Is HIP Yacon a scam?

As with most trial offers HIP Yacon is not recommended, it cannot prove its effectiveness and the fact that it has hidden its cost should make avoiding them that much easier.

There are plenty of alternatives on the market that are willing to disclose this important information without having to sign up for an auto ship (monthly customer loyalty program).

How to contact HIP Yacon?

Proven alternative to HIP Yacon

Rather than risking an expensive hidden bill from HIP Yacon you would be better off looking at Yacon Root Pure from Evolution Slimming.

This particular supplement is not available for trial so you wont end up signing up for any unwanted auto ship scheme.

A month supply will set you back $31, which is very cost effective for such a popular weight loss ingredient.
