Sales of Raspberry Ketone supplements have exploded over the past year, which had led to a rise in products such as InstaLean Ketones that are offered as a trial.
Trial offers of dietary supplements are a notorious scam that have left hundreds out of pocket.
Let us look at InstaLean Ketones in more detail to find out whether it has any redeeming features that would make signing up for the trial a good idea.
Claims made by InstaLean Ketones
The following claims have been made on the InstaLean Ketones website:
- Increase your metabolism
- Increase fat oxidation (fat burning)
- Increase energy
- Help with weight loss
- Fight fatigue
It also states that your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed, which is quite a statement, especially if you have read the reports from previous unhappy customers.
Ingredients of InstaLean Ketones
It is promising to see that the actual product label is available to view, so we can see exactly what ingredients are to be found.
The label states that The ingredients are Raspberry Ketones, Green Tea, Acai Berry, Blueberry and Pomegranate.
According to the website however, states that InstaLean Ketones contains Raspberry Ketones, Resveratrol, Hoodia, Green Tea extract and Apple Cider Vinegar.
This is a big red flag that something is not quite right with this product. Why would there be two different stated ingredients?
Price of InstaLean Ketones
The most worrying aspect of InstaLean Ketones is the price, or lack thereof.
You would expect to see some idea of what the cost of the product is, either in plain sight or at least in the terms and conditions.
There is not even any terms and conditions present on the homepage, so you have no idea what you are signing up for once you hand over your contact details.
Once your contact details have been submitted however, you will finally gain access to the pricing.
The 14 day trial will cost £4.95, which is to cover the postage and packaging. However, like so many other dietary supplements offered on a trial though, this is not the true cost.
Once the trial period concludes you will be charged an unbelievable £79.95 for the bottle you have already received with further monthly payments of £49.95.
Is InstaLean Ketones a scam?
There is little doubt that InstaLean Ketones should be avoided. The ingredients are different to what it states on the website and a lack of pricing is certainly worrying.
If I was you I would seriously think twice about giving away your contact information using their ‘sign up’ form. No doubt this is used for future marketing campaigns.
The true cost of this trial is also going to be a shock for most, as it is simply too much to be paying for a supplement.
Even if you cancel the trial you will still be out of pocket due to the initial P&P payment and the subsequent £12.86 restocking fee that is conveniently hidden from initial view.
