Since her appearance on the Sugar Free Farm in January, former Brookside actress Jennifer Ellison has continued to work hard towards her weight loss goals.
She has recently revealed that she has gone from a size 18 to a size 10 in just three months, while also losing 6.5 inches of body fat in just one month.
“So proud to say I’ve lost a further massive 6.5 inches of body fat in a month! And today I felt brave enough to take a pic after training without a big baggy top over!!! I’ve gone from a size 18 to a 10 in just over 3 months!”
“I still have a long way to go to get back to what I was but 2 stone lighter and 27 inches of body fat later Im feeling SOOOO much better! Thanks to the most amazing trainer ever Tony Swift for keeping our sessions amazing and challenging and to my training partner Rob Tickle who’s absolutely smashing the results too![sic]”
Why did she decide to lose weight?
Jennifer started to struggle with her weight following the birth of her two sons Booby, 6 and Harry, 3.
While she once stated that she was happy to focus on her children rather than her weight, online criticism has no-doubt led to her current diet efforts.
“To all the horrible ppl commenting about my weight… I gave birth 12 WEEKS AGO! Sort ur heads out, my baby boy is my priority NOT my size!!”
“And just for the record I’m the luckiest, happiest woman in the world with two boys to die for so ‘ALL THE BEST!’ to you!!!x”
How did she lose the weight?
While appearing on the Sugar Free Farm in January, the 33-year old actress had to resort to restrictive eating habits of just 400 calories per day, with some days consisting of just:
“One raisin….a slice of apple and then a four mile walk.”
Of course this is not a diet we would recommend, especially for the long-term and I highly doubt she has managed to stick to it for the past three months.
Whatever methods she has used, she has definitely seen a dramatic change in her appearance. Hopefully it has not been at the expense of her health.
Now it is a case of whether she can keep the lost weight off, for some that is the hardest part. We wish her good luck.
