Is the Ketone Slim XT trial a scam?

Is the Ketone Slim XT trial a scam?

There seems to be an endless number of Raspberry Ketone supplements being brought to market.

It is not surprise really as they are still in high demand.

Unfortunately though the vast majority are best avoided, such as those made available as a trial, such as Ketone Slim XT for example.

The reason? Well, these trial offers are designed to entice you into signing up for an offer that in the past has been shown to be a front for numerous scams.

In this review we are going to look closely at Ketone Slim XT to see if it is an effective weight loss aid, or whether it is a scam like so many trial offers before it.

Claimed benefits of Ketone Slim XT

Ketone Slim XT has made the following claims on its website:

  • Help burn off excess stored fat
  • Suppress your appetite
  • Retain muscle mass and boost energy

While these claims sound impressive we have seen similar in the past. We would need to look at the ingredients used to make this supplement before we can make any further comment regarding the accuracy of these statements.

Ingredients found in Ketone Slim XT

While it is pleasing to see that Ketone Slim XT contains both Raspberry Ketone and Green Coffee, which have both been shown to aid slimming.

It is less pleasing to learn that there is not one mention of the dosages of either ingredient.

This lack of information seriously damages the above claims and personally makes me doubt them.

It is important when choosing a supplement that you know what it contains, how else would you know if it is effective or safe to use?

True cost of Ketone Slim XT

While Ketone Slim XT is said to be ‘risk-free’ this does not mean that it costs nothing. In fact this couldn’t be further from the truth.

The truth is that Ketone Slim XT will initially cost just £2.95, which is to cover the cost of postage. However, what you may feel to realise unless you have read the terms and conditions of the offer is that after 14 days you will be charged £93, which is quite astonishing.

As this trial is an auto-ship program, signing up to it also means that you have given permission to receive further monthly packages, again with the hefty £93 charge.

Is Ketone Slim XT a scam?

Ketone Slim XT may not be a scam, but what they are doing is unethical. The supplement costs too much and those that sign up for the trial and are subsequently charged will rightly feel aggrieved.

It’s no wonder that trial offers such as this have a reputation for being scams.

Contact details for Ketone Slim XT

Alternative to Ketone Slim XT

When looking for an alternative to Ketone Slim XT there is one suggestion that you should look at; Raspberry Ketone Plus.

This supplement contains the correct dosage of Raspberry Ketones alongside various other proven fat burners.

A months supply will cost just £19.95 from the Evolution Slimming website, which we can all agree is a much more affordable price.

Best of all, Raspberry Ketone Plus is not available as a trial so you can buy it outright without worrying about signing up for an auto-ship program.

    • I emailed almost instantly after ordering to cancel. The £2.95 payment is pending on my bank account. I have rung today to cancel and they say there is no record of me even asking my name, phone number, last 4 digits on card and postcode…

So frightened that money will leave my account 🙁

          • I too think this is a scam. If I bought a dress from a shop and was given a receipt then took it home and for whatever reason I wanted to take it back I would not have a problem. Terms and Conditions were not on the advertisement I looked at it was an article on Yahoo and two photos of a tv star appeared one before she took these tablets and one after. I would have not had any trouble getting my money back from a reputable company. I have instructed my bank to follow fraud on my account and isn’t it funny how many different companies are involved and how widespread this scam is. The tablets did not work after one month I lost no weight at all. I even contacted keytone slim XT and as soon as I started my message they said we are not undertaking any free trials and i have just looked on their website and it is still advertised as a free trial. All in all over £240 was taken from my account without my knowledge and at least that is theft and deception and surely there is a company or some one overlooking these sites, adverts, unscrupulous people I want all my money back but they are only offering me half. Well Trades Description Acts for products that do not work should look into this as well as the police and the Fraud Departments at Banks.

        • Yes, the supplier of ‘Ketol-Slim’ weight loss preparations, is certainly an unethical ‘scam’ company, by my definition. Like the young lady above, I gave no bank Account number or CVC number when making my initial payment of £ 2..95. So how did they debit me for the £92.78 after the1st TRIAL DELiVERY???
I should’ve read the reviews above sooner. My bank is proceeding with a full investigation of my May charges by this company.
I have phoned their business address in Wales to cancel further shipments.

      • hay, i had the same situation when i rang! except i told them i don’t mind getting the first trial which was the same price as yours but i asked to cancel any future trials. But the guy kept saying ‘i will give you the return number’! WTH!? I also emailed the same day. The guy as if kept saying he cannot hear me while he was giving me the return number and then said he will cut the phone as he cannot hear me. I’m so scared if they take more money from my account!

        • you can change your bank details through your bank get a different card and a different number they sound like some sort of computer hackers if they are getting into peoples bank accounts. They managed to get both my debit card details and my credit card details because when I tried to pay on one card it did not work and was not accepted so I tried my other card and that was accepted so was this meant to happen so these people can just carry on taking out money.

      • I had the same thing, immediately cancelled by email after reading the T&C’s. They phoned me, gave me misleading information and took payment details as soon as I submitted my phone no. on the first form! Following the call I read the T&Cs and cancelled asking them to not send anything. I had an email back saying they had no record of my details and two days later the stuff arrived in the post! I phoned their customer services who said they had no record of me.
I have phoned my credit card company who said that 2 lots of 4.95 have come out of my account but they have now blocked future payments.
I then phoned back Ketone slim XT who now do have a record of me and informed me that my account is active and that it wasn’t cancelled because you can’t cancel by email only by speaking to customer services!!! No one told me that!
They now say that I need to send the stuff back (at my own expense!) and that they won’t refund me the £9.90 shipping costs because they shipped it to me (they both arrived in one padded envelope). I also have to send them back in two lots (more expensive) as the RMA number has to be on the envelope.
        I am fuming!!
Not sure whether to keep the stuff and see if they try to pursue it so I can get my point across, payments have now been blocked so they can’t get any more money out of me or just to write off the money and put it down to a serious moment of stupidity! 🙁

        • Why do you have to send them the products back?! You paid for those, so they’re yours. All what you need to do is to inform your bank not to allow them to take any more payment. You have sent them an e-mail, which is good even if they don’t consider it to be so. Keep a record of that e-mail as evidence that you informed them of your intention to cancel and your bank will dispute and further claims from their side.

      • i also feel that the small print in the t&c are misleading they have taken money out of my account, when i rang then they said i should have canceled within 14 days. so i cannot get a refund so to everyone out there be careful what you are doing. Like you I have been told to return my order and I will get a full refund (lets wait and see) the address they gave me was:- Healthy Essentials, PO Box 7574, Milton Keynes, MK11 9GQ, this was yesterday so I will be sending mine back today I will let you know what happens.

    • It is a scam I cancelled within 2 days of receiving the product but still got charged even though the free trial has a 14 day cancellation on. In the end I called after 3 emails with no response to be told I had phoned Clearwater Florida from the uk who did eventually cancel the order but I was still charged. Not happy a complete scam.

I have been told by my bank, that they will cancel my card, and issue me another one. It is only the long number in the middle that Ketone have when you pay, so you still have the same account, just get given another card where the last 4 digits at the end are different.

this is awful, and I cant believe I was stupid enough to fall for this…….

    • Interesting. I also signed up the trial and forgot to cancel as I thought it’s a 30-day trial. So I was alerted when I saw the debit of £92.78 in my account. Called them up and requested a cancellation and refund. The advisor said I can only get a partial refund (50%). I’ve called my bank to cancel the subscription.
I’ve not used the product for a month so can’t tell if there’s a difference. I emailed the company too with my disappointment and dissatisfaction. A lot of unsuspecting subscriber will also fall into this trap.

      • Thank you so much for information. After my first order I came across this forum and was shocked about what I read. Immediately I sent an email asking them to cancel any subscriptions and not to charge me. Today I came home to a parcel of tablets, immediately I emailed them again NOT To charge me or send out any more bottles. I rang the number you provided and spoke to the advisor who told me I was being charged £93 and £88 for the other bottle, I couldn’t believe it! I told the advisor I sent an email to them a month earlier cancelling any more orders, apparently they did not receive it….I said I don’t even use the bottles and would send them back, he said I could keep them and he would give me back a 50% refund. Please be very very careful with these products, if I had not come across this forum I never would have realised how much I was being deducted from account.

Also 2 different products got the same barcode, and when you scan barcode it comes out something else costing £25 on ebay. I don’t think its legal what they do, has to be stopped this con. People responsible for this has to be punished.

They also took two amounts from my credit card without authorisation. When I telephoned them they said I had ticked a box on their terms and conditions on the order form I did not click any box and there was no terms and conditions with the order form. This advert came on a popup whilst on pinterest. Never again. I contacted my credit card company to inform them of the unauthorised payments taken, They say that ketone said a cancellation request had been put in by me, this was untrue, I asked them to refund my credit card. Since then they have taken another two payments, sent no goods to me but the pills are rubbish, just a scam so I would not want them. I am having hells own job getting my money back, think I will have to contact trading standards and the financial ombudsman.

They told me that Office of Fair Trading are on the case. after 4 weeks of following the trial I found I had gained 3 pounds!!!
AT APPROX 4 X £90 credit card charges for Deliveries received (2 FOC trial tubs & 2 Tubs 2 days after the scam was obvious and Barclaycard acknowledge that but could only suggest going after them in every way possible (Healthy Nutrition LTD based in Cardiff.)
so as a very angry 72 year old retiree I am going to dedicate my efforts to fully expose this scam and see along with Loyds MasterCard (45 years customer) and Barclaycard see what can be done to stop them.
If they believed In their product they would not need to scam rediculous charges off innocent good folk in this devious unethical dishonest way….

After telling me he would give me a 50% refund which I refused he then said I could have all the money back if they received the pills back and quoted the merchant numbers he was to give me on the top of the boxes .

  2. Hello, yesterday I noticed the 93 pounds charge from this company. I’m still in shock that price is ridiculous for this product. I have phoned them and told me that is cancelled now but I’m still worried if they try take money in the future.

    • hi, did you cancel your account with them before they charge you £93 or not?

      • I did not have an account as far as I was concerned I had just elected to try the free trial and had not subscribed to anything. I telephoned my credit card company first to say the two amounts of £93 and £89 for the primaclense had been taken illegally and I had not received any goods for these payments.

  3. Hello, I bough ketone slim XT and prima cleanse+ this two products are from the same company and after 14 day I noticed that the company chage £93 for the first product and £89.47 for the second. I understand that it is my mistake not having read correctly the terms and conditions but I never imagined this. I already cancel this contract but I’m still worried if they try take money in the future and I would like to know if there is a possibility to get my money back.

    • Juana, it is best to try and contact Ketone Slim XT to cancel first and to see if they are willing to refund you any of your payments.

If this fails your only option in my opinion based on previous trial offers is to contact your bank to see what they can do for you. 🙂

        • Hi Kylie and anyone else who’s worried, I ordered from this company on 12th April 2015, it was only after I’d payed that a ” terms and conditions” box turned up in the bottom left hand corner saying that I needed to cancel within 14 days so as not to be charged the full amount. I was a little suspicious but thought as long as I cancelled within that time then I should be ok. It was only when I checked my bank account that I realised that something wasn’t right, 2 payments for postage and packing had been taken, fair enough but the companys that had taken the payments were completely different from the company that I’d ordered from, also there was a third amount taken which wasn’t authorised from another seperate company. I then began to panic but then found this site, which (may I thank everyone on this forum for all your advice) saved me from losing substantial amounts of money. The first thing you must do is go and see your bank manager, tell them everything to do with this matter, my bank were aware of such scams as was the Direct Debit Fraud Squad. just cancelling your card is not enough, the bank have to completely block your card. A new card, yes would have a different number but as the bank explained to me any future transactions from any of these companys relating to the existing card would come through as direct debits which the bank would have to honour. So firstly take your money out of that account, get the bank to block your card, the fraud team will put a re-curring block on the companys (which must be done!) and there are several sister companys that Ketone and Prima Cleanse use ( I will list those for you at the end of this post). In my case the Fraud Team cancelled on my behalf although I also cancelled myself by phone later that day Tel NO: 029 21680129. The Fraud team are now monitoring my account so if any further monies are somehow taken then the bank will automatically refund me. Make sure you go to your bank first before you cancel incase the company become spiteful. When you call to cancel make sure you ask for an Returns Merchandise Authorisation Number, they will tell you that you have 30 days in which to return them ( which is an out an out lie, when you refer back to their so called “terms and conditions” and then and only then will they cancel your account by which time they will have taken further payments. So be very quick to return them. The return address is : Healthy Essentials, PO Box 7574, Milton Keynes,MK 11 9GQ. The other companys that they use are: Body Bazaar, Natural Wrkshp, Wellnes Outlet, Superkeytone Plus, Ketone Ultima, Prima Cleanse Plus, Slimwise,Ketone Slim xt, Pro ketone power exchange, Healthy Essentials and Healthy Nutrition. Hope this helps someone. Good Luck

          • the return address they gave me tonight was in Cyprus! I cancelled then contacted my credit card company who have blocked further debits and are monitoring the account. Have been e mailing since July 7th for refund and threatened legal action. They keep giving me an 0800 number to phone but I prefer to email as can track responses

    • Call your bank and get them to block any future transactions from this company. You probably won’t get your money back but at least it means they can’t take money from your account in future.

I had emailed 5 days after ordering which was more than enough time to cancel. I have still been charged £93 and when i phoned up, the 2 advisers that i spoke to were ignorant, rude and condescending. Have never received such shocking customer service before. First adviser was saying that i emailed the wrong address and had the cheek to say “why is it on the uk that get it wrong” second advisor after reading what the first advisor said had nothing but attitude and spoke to me like a child.

I rang and the girl said that I should have read the terms. She then said that she would cancel my account and that I would need to return the bottles to PO Box 7574, Milton Keynes, Mk11 9GQ and gave me two numbers to put on the outside of the package.

She said that as soon as they receive the package they will refund the money.

The phone number I rang is 1800 814 106 (I am from Ireland)

However I wasn’t convinced and phoned my bank. I was going to cancel my card as Carole (oct 5th) had done. Then I learned that my bank was aware of this scam and quite a few of their customers had been affected. My bank have now blocked any further payment to keytone so even if they attempt to take out money they will not receive it. I urge everyone do phone your bank and discuss your options. As it says on this website legally it might not be a scam but they are totally unethical

As soon as they arrived phoned up and tried to cancel they then informed I needed to send them back (so much for a free trial).
I have sent them back and phoned today to get my account cancelled. Well what you know they have no records of the tablets been delivered back.
I have now cancelled my bank card so they cannot take any money.
I never thought I would be scammed as easily very scary.

I myself have been roped onto the same scam. I called the minute I received them. Brian in Clear Water Florida answered the phone. I couldn’t believe it. He gave me an address and a number to put on my packet for returning my unopened bottle. I was so angry, the man was so condescending and extremely UN helpful. I too have cancelled my card and will be visiting the bank tommorrow morning to make sure they don’t get another penny from me. I am so disappointed in myself for allowing this to happen. I really think this needs to appear on watch dog or this morning or something to warn others before they are in the same position as the rest of us. 🙁

The next day I checked my tracking number and it said the goods had been delivered and signed for but although I have emailed the company twice and phoned 4 times I still can’t seem to obtain an email confirmation that my order is cancelled although they keep assuring me that it has, I have been onto my bank and cancelled my credit card plus they will not let the company take anymore money from my bank, the only problem is they still have my bank account details so if they use a subsidiary company name my bank said they can’t do anything until I can prove the order is cancelled. so I have just got off the phone to them yet again but they keep telling me the same thing over and over that an email will be sent in 24 hours but they have been telling that for the last 3 days and so far nothing, I will update this message if I do actually receive an email but I’m not holding my breath.

  36. Thank you for posting this information. I ordered about 20 minutes ago and then researched the product (stupid, admittedly). I just rang to cancel and the customer service assistant told me I’d have to wait until it arrived and then send it back. I was very direct with him and stated that it would not have even been packaged yet and what they were doing was not only unethical it is likely illegal and if he didn’t cancel my order immediately I would be seeking legal advice. he told me he had cancelled my order and I would lose my £2.95 packaging fee. I am going to call my bank and cancel my card anyway as judging from previous posts, this will not happen and they will take money anyway. Are there any lawyers out there? Surely this is a highly illegal practice? Especially taking money from people’s accounts after they have cancelled? Thanks again everyone, you have saved me a lot of money it seems. Lesson learnt.

    • Make sure you follow this up Esther, they are very expert on their terms when justifying taking money. I haven’t received the ‘monthly subscription’ yet and they have said i can not refuse the order, its delivered through ‘My Hermes who is obviously nothing to do with this scam’. My Hermes will leave packages on the doorstep which is ‘accepting’ so put a note out for the courier saying you are refusing delivery!

  37. P.S: My bank have cancelled my card but state that this does not guarantee that the company will not be able to take subsequent payments as the initial £2.95 will have linked them to my account!! My advise it to email the company stating you cancel your payment and do not authorise any further payments. If they take any more money your bank will likely be able to take it back as you have proof of cancelling your order and have informed them in advance. Even if they do not take any money from my account I fully intend to have them investigated as they are horrendously unethical.

I through in the comment of distance selling regulations and that seemed to help…even if it was a legitimate charge as they said. Might be useful for someone else trying. I will update if I get a refund. Good luck all – this is a nasty scam

  40. I ordered because of ‘free trial’. It was only after inputting card details i realised the £93 charge. I ordered friday and product arrived next day. I phoned company to cancel. Lady was helpful. She said once they received the bottle they would cancel my account. She said i could keep the tablets and to just return the empty bottle. So will be posting bottle back monday. Ive yet to check my account though to see if any money has been debited.

  41. This is a massive scan and I can’t believe I fell for it soooo cross with myself. As soon as the confirmation email came through and I saw that they would charge £93 I emailed them to cancel, heard nothing and email 2 or 3 more times to cancel still no response. Then after returning from holiday I rang to cancel and was 1 day over the 14 so have been charged. I rang my credit card who are putting the amount in dispute so I won’t have it on my bill and they’re sending me forms to get evidence of the dispute to go back to the company. I then rang the Ketone people again to confirm this is all cancelled which they said it was. I told them I wanted my money back and after a row, where I said I would be using social media to highlight the scan, he offered me a third of my money ‘against company policy’ as it was such a good price for the product!!!! When I told him I had been onto my credit card company he got v defensive telling me I had no rights! I then said I’d be happy to return as I’d only taken a couple of the tablets anyway and he gave me a tracking number and address to return them to and said I’d be charged £10 but would get £83 refund. I’m going to send them back tomorrow recorded delivery and will proceed with the dispute on my card as I really don’t trust them to refund me anything. Please everyone who has been caught out make a stand ring the company to claim your right to return for a refund and contact your bank or credit card to dispute the charges. Do not take this lying down, only by all of us making a stand and causing a fuss will this SCAM get shut down. Let as many people as possible know about this rip off!!

Now what I am annoyed about is there are people in the public eye endorsing this product mat be they are getting it free but ordinary people like us can not afford this exor or ant price maybe if they stopped people would not be drawn in hopefully maybe one of these so called celebs can give us some answers

  43. Hi there
yes I’d taken the offer also without seeing the hidden charge and what makes things worst is they have taken the £93 out of my daughters account with same initials try to get in torch and so far had no luck so very worried

  44. I have literally just ordered these products, then came across this review!! Omg talk about shocked, I have contacted the customer service, the gentleman was quite pleasant but did try to talk me into continuing with “free trial”, I was quite firm and told him that I wasn’t happy to try the trial and then not be able to afford the payments for future products. He assured me my account was closed but have lost my P&P, more than happy to lose £6 instead of hundreds.
Is there anything else I can do to protect my money in my bank account? I’m so worried about losing money that I can’t afford.
Finally, may I thank you for this review and alerting us to this situation.

    • Inform your bank immediatley. They will have any subsequent charges refunded but cant do anything for payments already taken. They will charge you hundreds otherwise.

  45. Further to my earlier post, I have just got off the phone with bank (Barclays) they were more than helpful. You need to ask for the payment dispute department and tell them you want a cancellation request, the chap I spoke to said since I’ve acted early enough, literally within an hour of ordering my account should be ok, however because of my conversation with the bank, to request this cancellation, if any future payments do go out of my account they will give me a full refund. He advised me to keep a check on my account, and if I do receive the products to send them back and keep proof of return to the company.
My advice would be to act quickly and speak to your bank without delay, obviously cancel the products with the company.
I do feel a whole lot better knowing that I’ve alerted the bank, the chap said they are hearing about this a lot recently. I feel so foolish but reassured by the bank and all the posts on here that it’s not just me being stupid. So I wait to see what happens in the future.

  48. DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT!!! IT IS A SCAM!! based in Clearwater Florida.

I saw this advertised on Facebook and stupidly was sucked in by its literature and using the Duchess of Cambridge as examples!

It does not work! it is NOT A FREE TRIAL as you will be charged 14 days into the trial if the product is not returned. They then will take £92.78 (Ketone Slim XT) and £89.47 (Cleanse Pure) 30 days from the start of your trial for your next months subscription. You can not refuse the order, they will only refund up to 50% of the monthly subscription and not the trial. They have taken nearly £400 off us……i will not give up until are money is returned, if anyone has any other suggestions of where to shout this message let me know!

  51. I ordered the trial a couple of weeks ago on my credit card and didn’t read the terms and conditions. I kept noticing a pending transaction but couldn’t figure out what it was until a few days ago when the £92 & £87 appear on my account. It was then I called and they were going to offer me a 30% refund. I kept on arguing that it is fraudulent and a scam not to mention the auto-ship program on the main page and put it in the terms and conditions and was going to take legal action against them. Then I was offered a 50% refund I still told them I was going to take it up legally as I wanted a 100% refund. I just wonder is there no consumer ombudsman that they could be reported to if this has been going on for a while and they are just scaming people out of hard earned money.

  52. I received my Ketone Slim XT and Prima Cleanse plus this morning even although I ordered it 10 days ago but stupidly enough I never read the terms and conditions. I’ve yet to phone up to see if I can send them back, I’ve not been charged anymore than the trial shipping money which I’m surprised the amount doesn’t come up on my confirmation emails or my despatch notes. I’d rather lost weight and have more energy on my own rather paying a ridiculous amount of money on tablets that don’t work according to comments above. I intend to cancel my card regardless but I’m worried they will take more money from me although at the minute I’m lucky enough that if they try to take more money out of my account they’d only be able to take about £5 because I don’t use the account. I actually also read you’re meant to be 18 to use these tablets so in reality I shouldn’t have been able to purchase them because I’m not 18 yet. I think it’s a disgrace they want to take that amount of money and the fact they don’t advertise thats their intention is just horrible. Scams like this put me off buying anything online; not just food supplement capsules.

    • Inform your bank not to allow any payments to go out to them. They will charge you again and your bank may charge you for being overdrawn. Once you inform the bank they will be able to get the money back for you for subsequent charges. They charge almost £200 for the 2 bottles and when you cancel they will charge you full price for the trial bottles.Ring and cancel or they will continue to send you them at full price.

  53. Hi all,
just an up date on my situation I rang the company and threatened that I would let the world know on Facebook twitter etc what a scam this is and they offered a part refund which I refused, I said I wanted a refund and would return what I had left of the product. They agreed to this and I was given returns number for my package which I sent back by recorded on Monday.

I’ve just checked my credit card and have had a refund from them of £84.83 so a net charge of £7.95 + £2.95 original p&p which is all I ever expected to pay +£3.90 Royal Mail postage!! to return the remaining tablets, but still better than having the whole £92.78 gone.

So I urge anyone else caught out by this to ring and cancel and if you have been charged then refuse anything they offer other than a return and refund option. Don’t let them fob you off with anything less than this.

    Good luck everyone x

I have called 3 times and on the third time I managed to get them to agree to a refund of the £92.78 (Ketone Slim XT) and £89.47 (Cleanse Pure) on the safe return of the pills – they can have them! There will be a re-stocking charge but hopefully they will be true to their word. I can’t believe how stupid I was to think there was such a thing as a free trial – and that will teach me to read the terms and conditions in the future – now heading out on a run!

  56. I am so grateful for these posts as I was absolutely not aware of the further charges and only noticed when I went back to the sites after reading these posts. The terms are hidden that I would not even have thought to read them without these posts so thanks again. I have emailed them both (prima and ketones) 4 times now. I actually was looking on the internet for side effects as I felt really ill today after taking the first lot of pills. It was only by accident that I stumbled across this page and with all the stress I will more than likely lose the weight naturally…how ironic. I will be reporting my card lost so that they cannot access my bank account. They have yet to confirm my cancellation and then UK number I tried is unobtainable!!! Is it absolutely definite by reporting my card lost and getting a new one issued they won’t be able to access my account as I gave the the long number on the card not the account details. I cannot believe how foolish I have been. Thanks so much for these posts!!!

    • I also got caught by this scam only reason I ordered was the RSVP Magazine reviewed the Ketone Slim XT and Primacleanse and said it really worked and gave a link to order . I said it must be ok if they reviewed, so I ordered it. When the order had gone through it said that you have now signed up to an agreement of €121.33 to be taken out at end of month. I immediately cancelled the order and got no conformation email back. So I rang the number, was left waiting for ages and was transferred a few times got no satisfaction and was told when I received items to post them back empty bottles or full didn’t matter, and they would canel payments, I sent the packages back. After 13 days €121.33 was taken from my Visa account and two days later €117.35 was taken out. I rang the Visa card bank and they said to send the two cancellation emails to them and they would get a refund . Which they did and got my money back. Thanks a lot RSVP Magazine for a big fat scam.

      • hello there, Did you get the cancellation email from the ‘company’? I never did . I called within 20 minutes of making an order and they said they had cancelled my account and I would get a confirmation email within 24 hours which never arrived. I emailed them 4 times stressing that I wanted confirmation and my consumer rights etc etc… no response. 2 weeks since my order was made and immediately cancelled, the pills arrived. I just called them and they said my account/order had been cancelled 2 weeks ago and no further payments would be taken. They said to check my junk mail…nothing was there. What a surprise. No further payments have been taken AS YET (I cancelled my card but apparently this does not guarantee they cannot still take money? Not sure why!!??) The man on the phone promised it was cancelled and no further payments would be taken but I feel very anxious about the whole thing. This must be illegal…?

  57. I too have joined the long line of people angry and out of pocket. I saw this free sample advertised on FaceBook and on a whim decided to try it – what had I got to loose? I remember thinking at the time the online process was fast and there was no way of going back and re-thinking. I absolutely do not remember seeing a terms and conditions section, or checking a box to say I accepted them. I just waited for my pills, which I received – Ketone Slim XT, Prima Clense + and Garcinia Pro Extract. I knew there would be a small payment for one of these products. So far 4 companies have been involved in taking money from my account (and the bank advised me there may be more, so be warned). The amounts to date are: £1.95, £2.95, £3.95, £19.99, £92.78 and £89.47. I am utterly astonished at this totally unethical practice and very sad to have fallen for this scam. The bank said they can’t help me get my money back, but they contacted their fraud office and any further payments to these (known) 4 companies will be blocked. I am of course now worried that other companies (in the Terms and Conditions I never saw) will withdraw money from my account. And the pills have done absolutely nothing so far, just to make me feel worse about the whole thing.

    • Further to the above, I rang the company and asked to return the pills because I was totally dissatisfied as they did not work. I was given 2 long numbers to put on the return envelope under the return address in milton keynes. I asked if I would get a refund and she said ‘yes’. I asked how I would be refunded and she said ‘into your bank account’. I posted them off recorded delivery last week. They have them, but do I have any refund? No – not a penny. They will say anything to fob you off.

I call that a result and thank my lucky stars. Phone asap and stand your ground. I also emailed them constantly, but not sure this helped. The address to send them back to is – PO Box 7574, Milton Keynes, MK11 9GQ, UK and send registered delivery. Make sure you ring first and get the numbers for each item to put on the envelope. I am out of pocket for all the p&p about £25, but so relieved I nearly cried when I saw my bank statement.

  58. NIGHTMARE. I ordered the free trial (3/10), noticed when I confirmed the order that it said £93 would be taken from my account 14 days later. I immediately cancelled the order (within minutes), 2 weeks later the money was taken from my account. I called again they said that they would refund £82 but I was obviously unhappy about this as order should never have been processed and despatched. They said a manager would call me back. I have now spoken to them 3 times, sent 3 emails (they have responded to any), no manager has ever called me back. They guaranteed that my account was cancelled and nothing further would be taken, lo and behold 7/11 they took a further £92.78. I have just spoken to them again and they have said that the payments will be refunded immediately but wouldnt put it in writing to me.
I have called my bank who are trying to dispute the payments for me and have told me to keep onto them too.

  59. Hi Ladies,
I am another sucker who fell for this scam. I’m so cross with myself – it was only after I had committed to the ‘free’ trial that I noticed, in so doing, the sums of money I had authorised my credit card to pay them. I then read most of the above posts and didn’t feel quite such a fool as so many of us gullible people have been taken for a ride by these shysters. I phoned my credit card company – Sainsbury – and spoke to a lovely lady who had heard of my predicament from many others before me. She told me this company had been featured on Watchdog and that their advertising did not constitute a fraud but was extremely misleading. The only payments taken from my account were for the postage etc, less that £10, so I let them go through – there is no something for nothing. She has blocked all future payments and, as one of the above posts said, will refund me any further payments which might slip through their security net.
I hope that someone out there reads this before giving her credit card details and getting dragged into this scam.

    • I thought I may have made a mistake in signing up but thought I had 15 days to cancel. When I read the terms afterwards I realised that was not the case. I have cancelled my credit card having paid the initial ‘postage’ charges and hopefully that will be an end to it.

You must phone them to a) cancel your account b) get the return numbers for each pot of pills. Send recorded delivery. Tell them when you phone you are totally disatisfied with the products as they don’t work. It did the trick for me and I got most of the money back.

As a result they have not been opened and i wish to return them. I also do not wish to have anymore sent to me either. If you could let me know where to return these and id also like a refund as they were miss sold.

They say they will refund half and the rest on return and receipt of the good, but only when I phone them with the tracking number. Totally unacceptable! BE CAREFUL! • Details for this company is Heathly Essentials Ltd. P.O. Box 7574, Milton Keynes, MK11 9GQ Tel: 02036953806 Email: customerservices@ketoneslimxt.com. After several attempts I got through to the above company. They said they were based in Clearwater, Florida and disputed the Milton Keynes address for posting products back for refunds intially. After persisting with questions and having rung citizens advice and trading standards I stated that I had cancelled my contract within the required time frame but had not received acknowledgement and had been charged yet again. The company have agreed to refund £89 and £93 for the second delivery which I never received – too right! At first they tried to fob me off with a £50 refund, then £100, outrageous. This company is in breach of the consumer contracts information cancellation and additional charges regulations act. Be persistant with them and don’t lose your cool. Raspberry Ketone is available from health food shops for £19.99 way cheaper than the extortionate price this cowboy company is selling products for. I am still going after them for a refund of the initial products as they never sent any confirmation in writing regarding entering into a contract. A warning to everyone, after five days of trying the products I suffered dreadful side effects and became ill with heart palpitations, headaches and severe dizziness and a rash on my arms. Within two days of stopping taking these tablets I felt much better. The bottles have virtually no information on them and have you noticed the raspberry ketone and prima cleanse have the same identical barcode which if you scan it comes up with a different product and price of £25!! From now on I will be using a pre-paid credit card online and never signing up to a free trial for anything ever again. I wish everyone luck in getting some or all of your money back.

Then I found this web site and followed advice given by several people. I had not opened any of the bottles and last Sunday – 16th November – I telephoned the number shown on my despatch note. I spoke to a lovely lady who was very helpful and understanding, She told me to return my tablets and gave me 2 returns numbers – one for each bottle. She said she would credit my account in full – less £10 per bottle for a restocking charge. At this stage I was just grateful to have any money back. I sent them back on Tuesday 18th November by recorded delivery. Parcel was received by them on Wednesday. I then telephoned yesterday and was told that a credit had been processed and should be in my account within 3-5 days. I checked my account today and my money has been refunded, I consider myself extremely lucky and will certainly not fall into this trap again, Hope this gives a bit of hope to anyone else in this situation.

  79. I have also fallen into this trap, ok it sounded too good to be true, and of course it is. What actually annoys me the most is the price, I mean £92 and £89 for the Cleanse is just over the top. I do not remember seeing these prices on the web site, just the free trail and postage. So beware do not go down the same route. There are other products at a realistic price to try.

  80. I too have fallen for this scam. I ordered Ketone Slim and Cleanse products for the “free trial”. These arrived and I was then charged £92.00 the same as everyone else. I contacted my Bank who said they would cancel this contract with Ketone to stop any more payments being taken. I was also advised to cancel my Debit card which I did. A few days later another £200 was taken from my account. I then contacted the Fraud Team at my Bank who advised me they are well aware of this company and that cancelling my Debit card will not stop them from taking payments, the actual contract between myself, Ketone and my Bank has to be cancelled which the Fraud Team did for me. I had emailed Ketone 3 times and phoned once to cancel this agreement before I even contacted the Bank. To add insult to injury, they have taken almost £300 from my Bank account and I have only received the “free trial” supply of tablets.

  81. The company only charged me for around 5 pounds sth for the delivery fee. They have not charge me 92 pounds. I have already cancelled my bank account few days ago. So I’m now thinking if I should still send the bottles back… and what is the consequence if i do not send them bacK??
    help please!!

  82. Don’t order them – it’s all a scam. Call your bank and stop any transactions with them. I was charged £170 and a managed to get back £127 from them! I hope they get caught. DON’T fall for this scam!!

  83. I’ve been conned too. I emailed the day after the pills arrived to cancel – they said they didn’t receive these emails. Now they tell me that I’ve cancelled, but the free trial fee of £92 stays unless I return them all. I’ve swallowed about 10 of them. We should all get together and take them to court for this SCAM.

  84. I am so angry! I got the free trial, emailed the next day to cancel any more payments or subscriptions to me or my account. Then on monday got my credit card statement and have had the £93 taken out anyway without recieving any more product from them! I rang and they said they have never had an email from me and that they sent me another bottle which I havent recieved and unless I return the unopened bottle I wont be recieving a redund! I have been emailing with no replys. So will be ringing again tomorrow!

  85. I cannot stress enough that this company should be avoided at all costs! I ordered a ‘free’ sample and paid the delivery charge. I have not received the product from them so have tried to contact them on 3 occasions using the email address they gave in the order confirmation asking when and if it will be receiving the product.
Today i have seen they have charged me £92.78. I have contacted the company and associate simply said they posted it so it must have been delivered and even suggested a family member may have it. I have not received anything from them and have never had any issues with deliveries so this is total nonsense. I asked why i had been charged £92.78 and the associate said this was part of the terms and conditions and will continue to be charged on a rolling subscription. Personally i feel this ‘subscription’ and website is a complete scam. The terms and conditions are tucked away on the website so you have to specifically search for them. I believe they do this to try and hide the ‘subscription’ fee you will be charged. More fool me for ordering anything online from a website that portrays themselves as a reputable company and claims to offer refunds and returns. I was not offered a refund and i doubt very much if they would accept a return had i actually received the product. So much for a ‘free trial’!
Trading standards unfortunately cannot do anything about the issue as they say it is in their terms and conditions, albeit not in an obvious place.

  86. Oh my, I’ve fallen for it too! and i didn’t even want to order at first, it’s just because it was a reward for doing a survey. i just clicked on the product, and they requested for shipping info. i was just aware that i should bear the postage cost. it was only after the confirmation page came out that i noticed the fine print (it was hard to read due to the grey colour, also). i immediately called the given number and was persuaded to just try the product. I insisted that i don’t want to, that i just want to cancel the membership. The guy said it will be cancelled, but the postage cost would not be refunded. I insisted on a confirmation email and he said i will receive it within 24 hours. from what i’ve read above, i guess no one actually received any confirmation email on cancellation, right? I am definitely going to the bank tomorrow. As for now, i’ve transferred out all money from my current account, hoping that maybe they can’t charge my debit card due to insufficient fund. ughhh i am soooo frustrated for falling into this scam..! i hope we all get our money back and won’t be further charged with any of their product anymore.

  88. Omg I cannot believe I have just been scammed too. My husband is going to be furious. There were no terms and conditions visible before ordering, just after. As soon as I read them I emailed them and rang them straight away, only to be told that they cannot reimburse me the shipping fee, but that my account with them would be closed and no products will be sent. U hope to god that no monies are taken out of the account. The account is my husbands but we both use it so obviously I cannot ring the bank to put a stop to any payments. Am going to have to tell him so that he can ring the bank. I feel so stupid

    • I have done the same and ordered, then found this site and immediately rang them and was told it would be cancelled with no shipments and couldn’t refund the shipping fee but no further payments would be taken. Aftre reading this site I ordered a new card from the bank so hopefully that will stop any further payments going out. However they said I would get an email to confirm it was cancelled. Lol low and behold no email. The next day I had an email to say it was being despatched so I immediately emailed back saying it had been cancelled twice and eventually got an email to say the account was cancelled but they couldn’t stop despatch. So we will see what happens it’s supposed to be a FREE trail!

  90. I have been completely conned by this ‘free trial’. I didn’t not see anywhere clearly that if I did not return the tablets or phone them within 14 days I would be charged an extortionate amount. Unfortunately I also ordered the detox cleanse ‘free trial’ tablets as well and have been charged a total of £93 plus £87.39 which was taken out of my bank account last week. I’ve phoned them and the guy I spoke to said there was nothing he could do as I had ‘signed up to the terms and conditions’. I’m absolutely gutted and distraught as there is no way I would pay that amount of money for tablets and I certainly can’t afford it. If anyone has any ideas as to how we can claim this money back for their unethical treatment of people I would love to hear it. Thanks.

  91. I ordered them but the advert said free sample only pay £2-95 postage, then they took £92-78 yesterday, I rang my bank but they told me they can’t cancel, but from now on because I have reported the company if they try to get anymore money I can get it back under their charge back scheme, I sent the company an email but it was sent back as an illegal/void address, and the phone number the bank gave me for the company was not recognised I then looked at all comments on this product and someone had put a different number to what I had so I have just rang them and ranted to the guy that I want my £92-78 back and that I am getting in touch with trading standards, the police fraud dept, Facebook, local newspapers and televisions because the are fraudulently advertising because the man said it was a trial and I said it was a free sample so that was it end of any way I think he realized I was not going to take his lies so he has given me a ref number and an address to send them back and I will get a full refund and for good measure I got his name too, so we will see.

  95. I was also conned. I phoned my bank and they advised me to email this company but when I did it bounced back again. I phone the company with the Irish no and got to talk to a guy called Richard White who happens to be in Florida but he said that I would only be charged as a local call. Not sure about that but I complained to him that I did not sign up to getting more products but only to a trial which he says is 14 days and that after that I pay hence I was charge €118.42 and €115.29 within two days. I vehemently protested and he had a chat with his supervisor and he said that he would refund me half as I signed up to get these products. I was very cross and would you believe it he said because I was a ‘special’ customer he would refund half of the cost. Its a pure con job. Such a sly way to get customers in. When I phoned my bank too they were aware of this scam

I went through all of this 2 years ago, same story different person as I see in here we all made the same mistake, what I am surprised about is how they get away with this? Why nobody stop them from taking money from other people after so many complaints? Surely there must be a way of stopping them , this is not acceptable in any way possible and impossible, each story i read reminds me of my myself and we not talking of only 2 to 10 people we talking of thousands!!!! Can you imagine how much money they already done with each one of us who were not lucky to have a refund??? If anyone is taking action towards this I will gladly help in anyway I can, I can be a witness if need it, they went to far and someone has to stop this!!!!

  98. We are all in the same boat here. I have just become a £92.78 victim and my bank advised emailing them. cs@— and customerservices@—- are both undeliverable and the phone number is either not registered or has some heavily accented machine which is non understandable, Like others here it was immediately obvious to me that my bank knew all about these people so why do they continue to deal with them? There has to be a way for them to bury this. Would they allow known terrorist organisations to trade through their systems for example ? Most disappointingly I only fell for this as it had apparently been recommended on TV by Judy Finnigan .It seems as things currently stand all we can do is cancel the bank card and put up with the hassle that entails, consequently forgoing any possible refund as Ketone will then have no means by which to return fund to bank accounts. The whole thing stinks and our banking system needs to set up safeguards to protect its customers.

  99. These companies run several free trials for products then take the money from your bank after 14 days. The latest one is offering free trials of branded skin care, which are actually very cheap creams. I realised after receiving my products and looking the company name up online. I immediately rang my bank and had all future payments stopped. The bank assistant on the phone said they operate under lots of different names offering so called free trials and they knew of the name of the company I ordered from. It’s such a deceitful thing to do to people. I would never order anything that offers a free trial after this.

I too had sent emails cancelling immediately, all of which they said they did not receive and they charged me £92.78 for the ‘FREE SAMPLE’ I had received.

This company is totally running a scam and I have now phoned them and cancelled for the fourth time and they have said no more money will be taken. To add insult to injury, the telephone operator was rude and just said it was my own fault for not realizing the emails hadn’t been received! Told him I didn’t believe that they hadn’t been received and that their company was just running a scam, which he of course denied.

Isn’t there a way this company can be stopped? I went back and checked all their advertising pages and nowhere on any of the main advert does it mention that the ‘Free Sample’ is only for 14 days and then they charge you for it. It is totally misleading advertising. My own fault as I know there is NOTHING FOR FREE IN LIFE!

After reading all the comments on this forum I cannot believe that they never new that this was a scam.
I like most people would like to know how much fatter their bank books are after advertising a product from a company that steals money from peoples bank accounts.
By people I mean folk like you and I and it is about time we the public let them know.
So come on public don’t sit there complaining about it, get your feelings heard, get on your computers and let them know exactly how you feel, after all if it wasn’t for us they would not be where they are today.

  110. I cannot believe that I have got myself involved in this Company, Superkeytone Plus, I wish I had known and read all the very useful comments.

Briefly I ordered to Products from Superkeytone Plus a total of £159. 90, I honestly thought it was a trial offer as I thought I had only paid £2. 95.

When I checked my Bank Account I then realised that these CHEATS had taken a total of £159.90.

I rang their Customer Services to complain about the Company, the Advisor basically agreed with me and immediately refunded me £79.95, and stated that if I wanted a full refund I would have to make further enquires, today I rang Superkeytone Plus Customer Services this office was in Spain, the advisor spoke to me and told me that there no more she could do for me, I asked to speak to her Manager but her Superiors refused to come to the telephone, I was told to place my complaint with the Email Department at Superkeytone Plus, what a disgraceful company.
I will complain to my Bank to cancel my Debit Card and I will be making enquires with the Trading Standards Office.
I think it would be a good idea if other people would also Complain About this Company

Almost immediately having entered my details I tried to cancel it ,but was told I would have to wait until I received the product . I have now received it and on phoning them asked if I could return it . They said I could extend the warranty period for another 2 weeks and try the product first and that they have made a note of it . Of course I too am scared they are just going to take my monies , so I will today cancel my card ( Just in case ) take the tablets out and post the pot back . Even if they did work I couldn’t afford £ 90 a month ,though apparently there are deals to be had . You apparently do have to ask for an RMA number in order to return them . The biggest thing this is causing all of us is a huge amount of stress and lost monies which we can all ill afford ! Trouble is I should know better !! ARGHHH !!

I phoned the company who promptly told me that If I had read the terms and conditions it clearly states that the money would be taken from my account after the two week trial if I did not cancel and return the product. I said that I had sent an email and was also told that they had not received one (as seen in many of the above comments they tell a lot of people the same thing). I proceeded to argue with the man and explain that I had not even tried them so he extended the trial period and refunded half of the money back and said If I would like to receive further supplies then I would only be charged half the cost for any further deliveries. If I did not want anymore then I could phone again and cancel, which is what I have done. I have not noticed any further payments taken from my credit card.
I am really annoyed like everyone else that I was caught and to this day have still not tried the product as I am unsure exactly what is in it so am a little worried to try them. I am usually very careful about sending for anything so I can only think that the terms and conditions must have been so minute I just didn’t see it.

  119. Hello, Greeting to all keytone slim ‘ got scammed people ‘,

I have just had a very long conversation with a sales advisor reference getting charged the full amount for this product only 20 days after purchase date.

Firstly that should only happen 30 days after so they are very keen to take your money!

After finally getting them to agree that the PROMOTION PRODUCT has a 30 day no quibble money back guarantee ( see T&C ) not 14 days! They said I will be given a full refund LESS a ‘ RECYCLE FEE ‘
    ….obviously I’m responsible for P&P.

I questioned where in the t&c its quoted and it turns out its not!! So the supervisor assured me they would have the t&c updated. HOWEVER… I am not liable to the NEW t&c and for this reason I’m NOT LIABLE to pay that charge.

They have agreed to pay the full amount on receipt of the opened product within 30 days of cancellation.

I skilfully C&P a copy of the old T&C’s just incase I need to escalate this to Citizens Advice B.

IF ANYBODY ELSE IS FACED WITH THIS SAME ISSUE, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO DROP ME AN EMAIL AND I WILL SEND YOU A COPY OF THE OLD T&C.

You have a right to your money back and a right to fair and lawful trade online without rogue traders attempting to steal your hard earned cash!

    Peace 🙂

  120. My wife got scammed by ketoneslimxt com and this week she got ALL the £380 stollen back via chargeback. Yippeeeee! Such a relief as it was a LOT of money they stole and so nice to have it all back after a lot of stress, upset, worry and time used up in the matter 🙂

Moreover because they deliberately keep the thefts to below £100 each to avoid Section 75 law each it means that on my case they will have got SIX chargebacks so potentially cost them an additional $600 as well as having to pay it back via their Visa card 🙂

Bear in mind that as the criminals are based in USA and the UK office of fair trading is fairly hopeless so I think the only was to stop these criminals is by disputing payments and claiming chargebacks because each time they get a Visa chargeback it can cost them up to $100 each time and more than 1% charegbacks and the are liable to get their Merchant account withdrawn. Do yourself a favour and dispute it with Visa and you may be able to get your money back AND shut them down

Remember that VISA and Mastercard have no interest in helping criminals steal money as it would create lack of confidence in the system and they are the only organisation with international power to stop it and its in their interest to as well

I cant promise the details will work on every scam however what i can tell you is that if any of you saw a advert on face book and got directed to a faek womens health magazine this is how the criminals work

What they do is pay a lot to advertise on facebook so it reaches millions of people in Uk for short period, maybe 48 hours with a facebook advert purporting to be from womens health magazine

You go to the fake womens health magzine and it looks genuine with fake article by Denise Welch, BBC, Fox logos endorseing it etc. Hower every single line of the website is a lying fraud planned to trick you

You then click on the “WOMENS HEALTH SPECIAL OFFER” and are then directed to the ketoneslimxt com page

Now today if you go on the web and look at the ketoneslimxt com page you will see terms and conditions plus a checkbox to say that you have read their terms and conditions and understand that you will be charged every month

The reason that page is like that is to fool you and their merchant accounts and also so that if they get a dispute they can write to bank and say ” oh customer did not read terms and conditions about autoship and that as you can see their website meets visa guidlines.

If you had been scammed you may contact the bank, or office of fair trading or whoever tyo complain and they will look at their website which has no weird numbers and letters after the COM suffix and conclude that you missed reading the terms

Moreover you may even go back to that site and see those terms and thinl you musyt have not noticed them and was you fault

Well Im here to tell you that on the fake womens helath magazine scam which many of you were scammed on you did not miss any terms and conditions because they did not exist AT ALL!!!!!

Moreover if you tried to find the fale womens health magazine its possible because of the way the website was made you woil never ever find it again because unless you have all th weird numbers after the “iwomenshealth com ” it will direct to the genuine womens health magazine.

What they are doing is covering their tracks. TIP: If you purchased from a similar scam fake news site you may be able to find it again by looking in the “History” of your computer. Sometimes its set to overwrite in a week and sometimes its set to overwrite in a few months in which case you may be able to get proof of what im about to tell you on other sites too.

Now going back to the one I know about thsi is the url for it . Now i am going to spilt it up as most forums delete links so please take ot the text i put in brackets and then copy and paste in to your internet browser. Its a bit of a long url and one character out and you wont get the fake site but the real site so be patient. Here goes

(my text so it shows in the forum ) http ( more of my text so it shows in the forum ) inwomenshealthmag.( notice the dot on the end of previous word ) denise/?t202id=129&c1=3802&t202kw

If it copies over to here that will take you to the fake magazine. Look at it and check out what they have written and its a total page of lies deliberately designed to trick you. its got logos from TV stations, says total lies that Denise Welsh has said were not said by her and are lies and fake tv videos and dishonest medial facts

Now there is NO WAY a page like that meets VISA merchant guidelines

But for these criminals it got worse as they clearly put a lot of money into advertising on facebook so did not want any barriers to sales and so decided during the course of their facebook advertising campaign to remove all mention of terms and conditions and not tell you that you were being signed up to an autoship plan

If you can prove that it means that under VISA guidelines they had not authority to take card not present transactions and if you had money stollen from this particular fraud this is the proof next

From the fake womnes health magazine click on the “buy the raspberry keytone” button and you will be directed to a ketoneslimext wenbsite page

Now look verr very carefully at the url and click save in your browser. Now open up a new window in your browser and look at how the page will look if you had not got all the letters after the COM suffix. Notice anything different ??? The one you are looking at as a link from the fake womens health magazine has a heap of numbers after the url and does not have a checkbox like on the one with just the url

However this is the amazing bit if you carry on reading

Please from the fake magazine go to the buy page which is the ketoneslim xt page which you had been especially directed to

Now fill in the order now form with fake information ( so they cant steal more money) at this stage its only asking address so dont worry

Now on the next page you will see a page with the terms hidden the guarantee. In fact I dont think even this meets Visa Merchant guildelines

However the criminals swap over the these checkout pages and have done so and thats why if you purchased from a facebook advert being linked to womens health and then ultimately thsi page you never noticed anything. Its because the fraudsters had swapped even this page

To prove it look at the url you are on now and look very very carefully at the numbers and letters after the domain name. Look at where it says “offer05” and change that to “offer10” and you will go to one of their pages with NO TERMS AT ALL

Im not sure if the urls will get stripped on this forum so im doing the same as before

(my text here) https: (my text here and here) // (pouple of stripes on the on left ) ketoneslimxt. (dont forget the dot on the left) com (next is the offer ) /offer5 (the offer is to the left) /order.php? (a gap ) prospectId=1124381&shipcountry=GB&cid=463&AFID=&AFFID=4001&SID=&TID=&AID=&click_id=&C1=137&C2=3802&C3= (and hope you get it )

    Now change to https:(gap) // (gap) ketoneslimxt. (gap) com/ (gap) offer10/order.php?(gap) prospectId= (gap) 1123775&shipcountry=(gap) IE&cid=463&AFID=&AFFID=(gap) 4001&SID=&TID=&AID=&click_id=&C1=137&C2=3802&C3=

Now hopefully if i communicated OK on the forum and its displayed and you remove my bits in brackets y9u will recognise the checkout page again. You will also see whey you could not find it again with all theose numbers!!!

Now look and you see NO TERMS AT ALL plus look at the logos displayed. Notice anything eh?? Yes you can see the womens health logo which they had no right to use and it proves the person who made the checkout page is the same person who made the fake website

Now i strong;y sugest you urgently take a screenhot and print out that page . (if you domnty know how to do it press “Print Screen”on your keyboard and open up “Paint” program which is free and bundled with Windows and proberbly in accessories

Now open up Painty and press Ctrl V and it should paste screenshot in to your Paint program . What ever you do you must save this screen urgently because once the criminals know its been found they will alter to a VISA compliant page . Si please take screenshots and printouts while you can as this is your proof that you purchased frm a page with No Terms and conditions . also save that url of offer 10

You now have proof that teh criminals revolve the pages and when they get a chargeback dispute they send off a screenshpts of one of their VISA complianmt pages and say to bak it meets all VISA guidlelines and you hadnt previously known the page from which you purchased so coudlnt prove otherwise

So now armed with screenshots you have to put in a dispute and it doesnt matter of it was a debit or credit card …where they tried to avoid section 75 laws this works to your advantage now as both debit anbd credit cards are covered under chargebacks but not section 75 if each transaction was over £100

the key thing if you purchased from the ketoneslimxt you write in your dispute to your card company that you clealy recall that you most definately purchased from a page with NO TERMS AND CONDITIONS OR mention of autoship and additional billing and print out the screenshot of the page offer 10 which has no conditions

so say that not only did you not agreee to any terms as proved by the screenshot i explained how to view but that the fact the page has the womens health logo on proves the vendor also made the scam website and put a screenshot of that in too marked up with all lies , ie denise welsh did not endorse it. womens helath magazine state online its been created illegally

Say not only as evidenced in the screenshot of offer 10 you did not agree to any card not present transactions, even if you had which you did not , that the terms would have been invalid as the sale is based upon the illegal fake magazine lies

So on 2 counts the vendor has failed in compliance with VISA Guidelines, and basically by shwoing offer 10 version of the checkout you have proved teh vendor is an embezling, lying scum bag!!!

So after you put in your dispute in writing it will take a month beforer thge vendor challenges a chargeback. They are too lazy to do it themselves so employ a third party to chalenge disputes but they dont know the facts and will dispute it by sending the bank a different t website screen and if you check out the ammount paid on offer 10 you will see it complies with what you paid so you can easily blow the chargeback challenge out the water by showing their challenge screens prices are diffrent from what was paid while your screen is correct

They will lie profusley at this stage of their challenge to the bank saying rubbish like they phoned to confirm the order and you agreed but this is easy to blow out the water as you can get phone records to prove they are lying .Frankly i think having shown the womens health logo on the checkout page proving they wrote the fake magazine , and proving they are lying to VISA with the diffrerent versions of the checkout pages no one wil believe them anyway by the time you get to that stage

A few other tips: You have to under normal circumstamces start a charge back dispute with 120 days . Once you have the contact name at the bank also send as email so you show the urls as it took me ages until i did as dont think they “got it” until they were able to put in teh actual urls. To be able to explain the nature of the fraud as the details get faxed to VISA or the merchant and they wont be able to type in the long urls from fuzzy bits of paper so wont understand that the criminals swap checkout pages between VISA compliant and non compliant

It may be the case you purchased multiple products and if you did you proberbly after paying on the offer ten page of the site url mentioned above you get another screen which asks if you wish to buy another special offer ect and you can see that all payments were done without leavinig the site by inspecting the times of the purchase notifications .

Remember you have to start the dispute within 120 days so start now even if yu have to write more detailed eveidence later. It will take about 3 months but you can escalate to the ombudsmen and to Visa so if yiou are tenacious and if its the same scam as i mention after about 4 letters you can win but you will need the screenhots i think to prove they rotate the checkouts with versions with no terms on

The only way i discovered how the scam works was as web designer i guessed the urls will have diffrent versions and I am sure there is a lot i never found

Sadly i investigated these criminals and found the perpetrator has abackground in money laundering, drug smugling and organised crime and so by agressively persuing a chargeback to by claiming your money which was stollen you will help make ot more hard for them to get merchant accounts as each payment they took gets a seperate chargeback so tehy can get a smany as six chargaebacks for every one they loose and they only need one percent chargebacks to loose the merchant account

It wont stop them as they opertate from over 100 dummy uk limited companies but at least you can try to get your money back as I did and in doing so make harder for them

  121. Just received part of my free trial and my husband has told me that it’s all a scam. Tried searching for the company to contact them but found this site instead! I have so far only been charged for the delivery of trial items so I rang my bank to see if I should cancel my card. They put me through to their fraud department who have put a stop on any future transactions being taken. I also don’t have to cancel my card and if a payment does happen to slip through, the bank will reimburse me with all interest and charges too. They can only do this on FUTURE payments so if you have already had money taken from your account, they won’t be able to help you with it as its within the scam companies terms and conditions. These companies are a devious bunch of bastards!!!!

    • I have just been on the phone trying to cancel the subscription. The man on the phone kept saying to me just try the product and wouldn’t let me cancel it. I said I will send the product back please can you cancel it, he hung up. This is definitely a scam. I will be going to the bank tomorrow morning to cancel.

  122. I have fallen victim to this scam and I am usually so careful of “offers” like these – but as usual these companies prey on the people who are desperate – in this case desperate to find something that will help them lose weight more easily!
I ordered these on their “offer” of £3.95 at the end of Nov and because of family problems with Mental Health, children and illness as well as Christmas, I took my eye off the ball and have only just noticed that two payments of £92.78 have been taken at the beginning of December and again at the beginning of January – that’s £185.56 of my money that’s been taken under false pretences already. I was encouraged to sign up for Prima Cleanse at the same time and they have also taken a similar amount – so that’s almost £400 of my money that I didn’t know about leaving my bank, when they make it sound like it was only a trial payment of aprrox.£8.
I have contacted my bank and they are going to investigate and if necessary I will cancel my visa card and get a new one before the next payment is obviously planned to be taken at the beginning of February.
I have also sent the company an email – due to the fact that the number above does not work – demanding immediate refund and cancellation of any further orders. If they do not respond to this request and refund the monies taken under false pretences from my account, I will write letters to all the television companies consumer programmes, all the newspapers and the government demanding an investigation into this company’s practices.
I will also flood-post on all social media sites about the scam these companies are carrying out on people and the money they are taking under false pretences from vulnerable people. I will do all this because I want to save as many people as possible from falling foul of this scam in the future.

  124. I went for the 2 week trial of prima cleanse & Ketone XT. Imagine my surprise when I did my online banking to see that they had taken £93 from my account. I immedialtely rang them up & stated that they had fraudulantly taken money from my account. They stated that i had given them permission to take the money after my trial of 14 days. I asked for a copy of my signature saying they could take the money & that i was going to contact LLOYDS fraud dept. He then asked me to hold & came saying that they would be prepared to give me £50 as a good gesture. I stated it was fraud & I wanted the whole £93 & that I was still going to contact my bank in the morning. They wouldnt return the £93 i will contact my bank in the morning.

  125. I ordered on 30 November 2014. I couldn’t find anything about it being a subscription so felt safe. Then did some research (wrong way round, I know) it put some doubt in my mind. So I cancelled immediately. I still got the first pot £4.95 + £1.95 – I’d said in my email I’d accept that and reorder if it worked. So January I got another pot, and found I’d been charged £92.78 in December. I phoned and after a long, long rant, got a refund. They said they didn’t receive my email of 30 Nov 14. But they don’t have email and can’t check it. So, anyway, I got the refund, but then they took another one. Just had another hour on the phone told them its fraud, they had no authority to take money, but they won’t refund and told me to re email. So that’s what I’ve done. Also disputed the transaction with my credit card and told them not to let any more through. I have the proof that I cancelled so hopefully that will work. Otherwise I’m going to bug them every day. Forever.

  126. Sadly, I have become another victim of this scam. Spent ages on the phone trying hard to get a refund. After a lot of deliberation, they said they would credit me one payment. I have since spoken to my credit card company who pointed out a few hard facts, like by agreeing to free trial you automatically agreed to future supplies of both Ketone Slim XT and Prima cleanse and the 14 day trial starts from the date of order not receipt of product and mine took more than 5 days to come. They have cancelled my card (it’s the only way forward) to avoid any future payments and it transpired that that company had set up three separate accounts without me knowing. So again, my Credit Card company have cancelled all three. I do feel rather silly that I was taken in by this company and will take better care in the future to avoid such scams. I guess it’s the world we now live in – fraudsters and scammers and UK agents acting on behalf of!!!

  127. Apparently as the courier delivered the product and I had no idea they were still sending it to me as I had moved and they do not email you any information apart from the first delivery I don’t stand a lot of chance getting my money back. I am mailing the courier info@hermes-europe.co.uk as the product is too big for the letterbox so they left it on the doorstep. The house is empty and up for sale (I was renting and the landlady lives 200 miles away herself) and I am 25 miles away at my new address so I didn’t know it was being left (my other mail is redirected) and I am still liable … apparently. The courier should have returned it to the supplier but if they deliver to an empty home they have a driving licence but no common sense. At least my bank were very helpful.

  128. I was stupid enough to order the same free trial. Once I received it on Friday just then realised it was a scam. I have emailed them the same day asking to return it and got a reply I should call their customer service as they can not do that for me via emails. I sent the parcel back (unopened) and called customer support today. Apparently they can not cancel my order as I sent it back before waiting for them to authorise it (I have to get authorisation number before sending it back). Though with the parcel I got it clearly says I have return guarantee and it was nowhere mentioned I must wait for authorisation number before sending it back.
I have cancelled my debit card already and the bank advised to contact them again if I will see any further transactions made. What I got mad about that they are leaving this small print on their website and don’t even bother to listen when you say I followed the procedure I received with my order and sent it back asap to the address provided.
Fingers crossed I won’t be charged for anything going forward…

  129. Like many others I stupidly ordered the ‘free’ trial, then thanks to this site, realised it was a scam. I contacted them by phone the day the parcel arrived (yesterday 11.2.15) to cancel, they tried to talk me out of sending them back and offered a 50% discount, eventually gave me returns authorisation numbers for both products which I am returning by recorded delivery today. I’m still waiting for the email confirming this that I was told I’d receive within 24 hours. I have written them (Healthy Essentials Ltd) a letter outlining all details of my cancellation, which will go with the pills and also sent copies of this via email to both Ketone Slim XT and Prima Cleanse Plus. I have contacted my bank (who were very aware of both companies) and credit card as the orders wouldn’t go through on one card, another scam. I have blocked all future requests for payments from both companies. As others have advised I will be contacting trading standards and as a Which member will also let them know about this, if they don’t already. So sorry to hear that so many have lost so much financially, not to mention the stress.

I went into my bank and got my card blocked straight away. Emailed them saying I want it canceled the night that I did order them got an email back yesterday saying that my order had been cancelled, however they came in the post today. At least I know they can’t take any money from my account now apart from the 4.49. I don’t know what to do now though, should I send them back or what as they can’t take any money from me? Please help?

  132. I fell for this, too 🙁 I thought something was fishy when I pressed back and they gave me a discount on both trials! Still went ahead and ordered it, then it wasn’t until afterwards that I thought it would be a good idea to do some research. I haven’t even been charged the “shipping fee” yet and I’m hoping I can get to it before they do.

Rang up my bank straight away and cancelled my debit card, requested a new one (even a new PIN as well, can never be too safe!) and then rang up the Fraud Team. They’ve given me the number for the “Retail Dispute” department and said that they should be able to stop this low-life company from taking any money from me.

They also said that cancelling your card is a good step to take, but to be careful as if a company really wanna get your money (which by the sound of it, these buggers will do anything!) then they have a CPA.. I can’t remember what the hell it stands for, but basically it means you can cancel your card but they’ll still track your account.

Gonna ring the Retail Dispute department in the morning and hope for the best! Feel so bloody stupid for this but, it’s amazing what you’ll do when you want to believe that something will work! 🙁

  133. Just an update, I rang the Retail Dispute department of my bank and they said they have put an order on my account to cancel all transactions that the companies try to take, and that if I ever actually want to pay them, I will have to ring up and have that order cancelled. Thought, no way you have got to be kidding!

Seriously, if you fall for this scam, cancel your card STRAIGHT AWAY! DON’T WAIT! Ring your bank, or even have a live chat if you do online banking, and they will help you. My situation has been sorted within less than 24 hours of me falling for it, and they haven’t even taken the “shipping payments” yet so hopefully I may have dodged the bullet?

She then asked me to hold and she would speak to a manager,I told her she had two minuets to get back to me,and if she was not back in this time I would do all that I had said
She quickly got back to me and told me both orders had been cancelled and I would receive confirmation emails within twenty four hours, here’s hoping.

Rang them and had a good go at them (in Florida apparently, hope that was not another scam). Finally they agreed to cancel my account, refund me the money and said not to bother sending the unopened pills back. I asked for an email of confirmation of this. None came, so I rang my bank. They said that another payment had been taken of 93.00 that same day!!! Anyway I did get my 89.00 back from Detoxmax, Prima Cleanse or Ketone ALL THREE APPEAR ON MY BANK STATEMENT – and the bank stood the other amount, well so far anyway. They have put a stop on these companies for two months. After that I shall cancel my card. Just a COMPLETE RIP-OFF and I was an idiot for letting it happen.
By the way, does anyone want a free trial pair of these pills??? Just pay me the postage hahaha!

They are aware of the way this company operates. They advised me however that the company encloses a small print which allows them to charge customers after the initial 14 day trial period. In my case, I disputed both purchases, and Barclays refunded all my money and gave me dispute forms to fill. If you bank with Barclays, its worth a try to seek their advise as they are brilliant.

  140. Again, I thought I had read sufficient data to enjoy a `free trial` of raspberry ketoneSlimXT and Prima Cleanse products. Paid postage but in interim period, read a lot more to find out about being enrolled in a rolling and autoship programme with exhorbitant charges on a monthly basis. Needless to say after emails were rejected, phoned their customer service after 7 days to get the RMA numbers to return products to a Milton Keynes PO BOX 7574 and have cancellations effected. I do have a signed receipt to prove return of their product. Importantly, the product should contain 1000mg per tablet to be effective but in fact has only 250mg and simply will not work and has not been clinically tested.
Contacted the Halifax Bank and their access arrangements will be cancelled and if this business tries to take money, the Bank will refund me and take action to recover monies with penalties imposed their business.
Having spent some time trawling the internet, everyone should be aware that details on their website is misleading as the company is not located in Reading but in fact is registered at 14 Hanover Street, London, as is another so called `Health` company, both of which have directors with the same surname and address in Florida USA.
The internet and Companies House shows a whole range of so called `health companies` who appear and dissolve within 18 months and importantly have a cross over of familiar names as directors and in particular a number of them operate from the same addresses in Cardiff, Glamorgan. Uncannily, everyone should take note that most of these internet businesses will not provide a telephone number or email address for direct contact and ALL of them use this same return policy with a RMA number to where?….of course PO BOX 7574 ….Do note the connections and again same customer service telephone numbers.
These guys are unscrupulous in their activities and unfortunately they use the system to their advantage but their day is coming as the authorities need to coordinate a UK investigation to flush them all out.
Their products fall completely short of what would be expected and as previous contributors have said, they use/tap into other reputable, safe advertised outlets with their correct information and then have you click on their `rushed advert` icon thinking you are purchasing a genuine product of some considerable worth.
PUBLIC BEWARE and search all the small print, terms and conditions.

  147. I got caught in February and I am at risk of losing c£190 (Ketone and Prima Cleanse).

The frustrating thing is this has been going on for about 2 years now with connected individuals (US citizens) as The Guardian wrote about it in May 2013, then Money Saving Expert in early 2014. A past company had an ASA (Advertising Standards Agency) judgement against them.

I believe the activity is not just unethical but ILLEGAL because under Consumer Protection (Distance Selling Regulations) 2000 they must provide contract terms via post or email (ticking a T&C box on a website isn’t enough).

That means my credit card company (Co-Op Visa), who simply stopped further payments rather than reimburse, are not going far enough to stop this scam. It can only be carried out with the cooperation of legitimate UK business (Hermes UK to deliver the packages, warehouses around the country, website hosting). The authorities should be given the power to demand these businesses share liability of all people who have been ripped off.

I’ve reported to Action Fraud and will write further to these legitimate businesses asking them to cease their cooperation with fraudsters.

  148. i have been caught in this scam too. When I ordered trial I did not see any terms and conditions to say you have to cancel within 14 days or I would not have ordered trial. I have just received second lot so I phoned my credit card company who although we’re very sympathetic could or would not refund money. I had been charged two lots of £92.87 and one lot of £87.96. These payments had taken me up to my limit on my card so have now had to pay another £100 off my card. I feel foolish and angry at being caught like this.i phoned the company and demanded to speak to supervisor who told me that as a good will gesture and one time only they would refund my card with one of £92 and the £87 payments within the next 3 to 4 working days but I have a gut feeling I won’t get this refund so I will let you know if I do or not. I’m a pensioner and can’t afford all this money. Is there any thing else I can try to get some of my money back

do i go into my bank and cancel my card so they can’t take and payments and don’t send the pills back? or do i call them up again cancel the payments and pay to send the bottles back? i really need some advice as this has had me in floods of tears

    • I saw this advertise on Facebook with the picture of Cheryl’s cole and that is was using this product to loss weight. In the article state that you can get a free trial and just pay for the shipping. I wasn’t aware of that I was going to be charged for the product every month there after I that one free trial. I have a recording of the phone conversation that my husband I had with there sales department where he pointed out there error of a miss leading advert and that the free samples didn’t arrive till nearly 60 days later so giving you no time to return them in the 14 or 30 day terms and conditions period they agree to refund some of the nearly £400 pound fees how shocking it is and unethical that this kind of robbery goes on where we have fight for our money back.

  151. I would just like to say that like many of you I ordered a free trial, which lucky for me I did not use as my doctor advised me against it but before I could ring the company they had taken extra money from my bank account I did speak to their customer service and explained that I could not use the pills and I was told to send them back and I would receive a full refund. I have received my money back from them so I am happy with the result but it has made me think very carefully before I order things via the internet.

  152. Scam, scam, scam. How stupid am I? I should have realised this was yet another of these companies who con people out of money. I ordered the trial keytone slim xt and the prima cleanse + products a couple of weeks ago. For various reasons I hadn’t opened either product.

Then I checked my bank account today and noticed that £92.78 had been withdrawn from my account. As this was an amount I didn’t recognise, I checked the specifics of this payment and found it was made to VeryKeytone. At first I was unable to place this and then realised what it was. I checked through my e-mails and had fortunately saved the two order confirmation emails which had a contact telephone number and the original order number. I rang the company and asked why had they taken money out of my account without my permission. I was told that this was a 14 day free trial and unless I cancelled the order within that period I had to pay the full price for the product! I have no recollection of these details being in the advert, so they were obviously tucked away in some remote part of the page. At first I was told they could not do anything about it, but not being one to give-in, I persisted. They are now supposedly giving me a refund when I return the unopened products. I shall wait and see. I DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! If I do not get satisfaction, I shall report them to trading standards.
DO NOT BE CONNED BY THEIR ADVERT…it’s a SCAM

  153. I also fell for this and ordered the Ketone Slim XT together with the Prima Cleanse + and was initially charged the nominal shipping fees for each being 2.95 and 3.95 Then I received my Credit Card Statement the other day and noticed 2 different amounts chanrged to it 1 for Bodybazaar 89.47 GBP and 1 for Life Workshop 92.78 totalling 182.25 GBP I immediately phoned my credit card company to which they are investigating and pending a refund. They assure me they have blocked any further amounts being taken.

Cant believe how stupid I was 🙁 Its caused a lot of stress and upset.

I took both the items for 2 weeks as directed but to be honest I didn’t loose a single pound let alone what they claim. They are just sitting in the corner now, I seriously wonder what o earth is really inside the capsules.

  154. I learned a long, long time ago not to sign up to any trial offers that ask for card details. It is a shame as I am sure that there are lots of genuine trial offers out there. I now Google everything when I see adverts just to make sure. Then check out where else you can buy it. I nearly tried this one then read the reviews. Thank you all of you that posted on here. You saved me a lot of grief.

  155. Having read the horror stories after signing up for the free trial, I rang Natwest a couple of days later (after the initials payments had been taken but before any more payments could be taken) and they cancelled my card. So I’ve only had the shipping costs for the trial taken from my account and they won’t be able to take any further payments. I’ve emailed customer services to them to tell them I’m cancelling the trial and that I do not authorise any further payments to be taken (not that they could anyway now the card is cancelled). I’m not sending the products back.

    • My bank told me it would make no difference cancelling my card – because it is a subscription that I signed up for (whether or not I realised it was a subscription) and I have volunteered my card details – THEY CAN TRANSFER THE SUBSCRIPTION TO YOUR NEW CARD!!! Beware…

  156. I can’t believe how stupid I have been!

I am a pensioner and in the process of having to transfer monies etc due to my husbands care need have been lax in checking my bank statement.

I nice elderly gentleman had been delivering me Ketone Slim & Prima Cleanse & I said to him one day I don’t understand as I only ordered one trial set. He said I should check my accounts as he had been delivering to other people and they were shocked to find large amounts of monies taken from their accounts. (By the way I had not even started taking the tablets yet.)

I rang the company & said why were you sending me extra supplements I had not ordered. I was told that my last payment was over £90! I cancelled the items immediately.

I have now checked my statement and realize I have had four £92 payments go out.

I still have the unopened subsequent tablets.

Can anyone tell me what comeback I have and can I get this money back?

By the way I did eventually open the trial pack and suffered severe stomach upset and had to stop after 3 days. I don’t know if it was the Ketone or the Prima Cleanse that caused this as I just gave up on them.

  157. This is a total scam but you can sort it out. I rang my credit card company as soon as the two payements came off my card. They said they would try and do a chargeback as it was within 14 days but no guarantees. I then rang the company – I have always been able to get through and found everyone polite. I was fobbed off twice in one day saying their systems were down so when when I rang 3rd time I said please tell me your systems aren’t still down and they said no they were fine.
I insisted I had been the victim of fraud and was pursuing a chargeback via my bank. They don’t want this so you just need to persevere with them. As previous posts say, they will offer you a 50% refund but that still means you have lost £90 approx. Keep saying you are not happy and still think you have been the victim of fraud and they will offer you a full refund minus £10 for each product. But you have to send the product back. Get an RMA number – at this point the generating of the number closes your account.

You need to return the products by Special Delivery and write the RMA number on the outside of the packaging and you need to send them separately which will cost about £6 each item. I asked what would happen if they said they didn’t get it back and was told I would need to provide a tracking number and you can only get this by Special Delivery.

They say 3 – 5 days for a refund but it took 9 days to get mine plus I got an e-mail confirming my account was closed and no further payments would be taken and no more products sent.
So I lost £20 in deductions and £13 in postage but I did what they said and got the refund.

Oh and I also got the full amount back from my credit card so am actually in pocket! But my nerves are not so good! Never again………..

    • Same thing has just happened to me – Despite ringing just an hour after making the order for KetoneXT, Prima Cleanse and Garcinia Pro and insisting strongly on cancellation of everything, I eventually got them to send cancellation emails for Ketone and Prima – but they could not cancel the one-off order for Garcinia Pro. I insisted I didn´t want it and then was told all I had to do was send it back when it arrived. Next day I received shipment emails for all 3 products!! So I rang again saying I did not want these products and had cancellation emails for them. And in addition was told I could return the Garcinia Pro (94.55 had been taken from my bank account by this time). They practically called me a liar and I had a real struggle, after which they said I could return the Ketone and Prima just by writing “return to sender” on the boxes, and gave me a returns number for the Garcinia Pro which I had to send back to PO Box 7574, Milton Keynes, MK11 9GQ by recorded delivery with a tracking number to get a refund after deducting 20 quid processing fee!! I am encouraged that you got your refund, albeit at a cost! I hope I get mine. Also beware unauthorised small amounts being deducted from your account by an assortment of different companies – they are likely to be the same company under different names. You can alert your bank and get these stopped and refunded.

      Reply
    • They only gave me one returns number. I notice other people got two, to send them back in different packages. So now I am worried I will only get refunded for one product. If they arrive, I will be sending back three products – Regarding Ketone XT and Prima Cleanse, they just told me to write “Return to Sender” on the boxes – but this does not give me a tracking number so I am worried about this… I have a returns number for the Garcinia Pro, so have a chance of getting the money back for this (less postage and their “processing” charge of 20 quid…) They make it clear that unless they have a tracking number they cannot issue a refund. I think I will ring them about this and insist on 2 more return numbers – just to write return to sender does not seem in my best interest and I doubt I will get refunded.

  158. I was stupid enough to be duped by this slimming claim also and feel incredibly embarrassed that I fell for it.
So today I have contacted my bank – cancelling your card will NOT work, as they already have a number to use, so please speak to your bank!
My bank were very supportive (I’m afraid I started to cry as I just felt like an absolute idiot) and to cut a long story short, said they receive several calls a week about these types of scams.
The bank are now monitoring my account to ensure no further payments are taken – if they are, the bank will refund the amount so at least I’m safe there.
I then spoke at great length to a female operator on the Ketone slim XT number – I basically told her that the company was operating unethically and that I would be contacting Trading Standards. I then said I wished to cancel the subscription. Whilst I had receive both products in the same box, apparently I have been billed full amount for one but not the other due to a billing queue!!! Unbelievable! I’ll get the money back from the bank but this is outrageous and I am very angry – and told her so. So I have to send one of the products back – she claimed not by Special Delivery but reading the above, it will be sent by Special Delivery whether they like it or not!!

I also stupidly have managed to do the same with a skincare product, advertised on Facebook. However, the address is an American one in Utah so I can only e-mail them and tell them to cancel my subscription. Hopefully the Debit Card Dispute Team will be able to refund the £198 they’ve taken off for two products.

    Like everyone else, NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Do not ever be tempted to go for these free trials….they may be legal, but are unethical and as far as I am concerned, a total scam.

    • I was stupid enough. But am on to it and bank has put a stop on it etc. so any payments taken I will be refunded. Does anyone know the address to return the pills to? Has the UK numbers are not working at all. So I’m having to ring the international number. Thank you

  159. Only sign up for this if you are happy with 100 quid or more being debited from your account automatically every month – this is a subscription order and it is very difficult to cancel or stop products being delivered. The banks can do nothing because you have willingly entered into this agreement (whether or not you realised it or not), and you volunteered your card details. Also look out for unauthorised small amounts coming out of your bank account – it is the same company under many different company names stealing from you on a regular basis. Changing your card will not help either as the subscription charges will automatically be debited from your new card. Beware this company Ketone Slim XT and the accompanying products Carcinia Pro and Prima Cleanse.

  161. I had a delivery today for my trail of ketone and prima cleanse. However after reading reviews and people saying that after 14 days the took alot of money from their account I emailed them straight away to cancel the trail and asked that they dont send the products to me as I have changed my mind. Surprise surprise as per the reviews I read they did not reply to me even though it said if I had any questions or needed to contact them all I had to do with email them back on the Customer Services Email. After receiving the product today I got straight on the phone to them and spoke to a lady who tried to sway me away from what the reviews said and she said it is because those people did not cancel their trial after the 14 day period and she can give me an extension on the trail period until the 5th of July. I declined and told her I want to send back the unopened product and confirmed that I would not be charged any money after the 14 days to which she confirmed they would not. I was given 2 return numbers and I had to make sure the products were sent to the address she gave me within 30 days. The package has been posted to a Milton Keynes Address as per her instructions. I have also written a letter to my bank informing them of this and that any money taken from them is unauthorized. Unfortunately as I paid a trial price which was just the postage they cannot refund this, I will take that as a loss but hopefully I have stopped this in time and they will not charge me any money.

Dear sir/madam, i saw the advert on line , and ordered the two items key tone and the cleanser , on a trial basis . i did receive the two bottles off pills . no instructions on the usage. i took one of each for two days. they made me sick so I stopped taking them result sickness gone so i tried them again and was sick after one dose. spoke to a medical nurse who advised me not to take them as i am a diabetic. once again no information at all . if i had carried on taking them it could have serious side effects. meanwhile i get a bank statement in and discover they have removed
£182.25 instead of the few pounds for p&p which gave them a debit card no for p&p the two bottles of pills were to be a free trial. there was no mention anywhere on the advert of that kind of charge.!! a few days past a delivery courier arrived to deliver another package . the carrier was a company called hermes. I refused to sign for them, now i have an e mail from royal mail to come sign for them or after 30 days they charge by the day. can you please advise me on the best forward . i am afraid i will be charged for the second lot. tomorrow morning i will write to my bank and stop any further transactions . this is very sharp practise and a total scam.

  172. I have just noticed a charge of £92.78 from my bank account from the same company I got a trial offer of Keytone slim XT and Prima Cleanse for just under £10 about two weeks ago.
I had no idea that I had been conned into further payments and products!
I took them for two days then spent the next few hours in the bathroom with dreadful diarrhoea that caused bleeding and pain that to the point, that I could hardly walk properly. Needless to say I stopped taking them immediately and thought ‘oh well’ they didn’t work for me, at least I only paid a trial price!
Until the next charge of £92.78 for which, I have not received any more products!
The bank have told me that I need to get in touch with the disputes department tomorrow, they will tell what I need to do and whether they can raise a dispute.
I suspect or rather most likely, I have missed some small print. I will return the products that I have not used and any more that arrive via recorded delivery. If I do not get my money back, via the bank’s dispute service then I shall raise such a stink, they will wish they had never heard of me. Consumer rights, fair trading, media (all types) ombudsman, politician and it will go vial on the internet!!! Be warned Health Boutique Scammers!

  176. I too can’t believe I fell for this. I remember placing the order but nowhere but it was done so that there was no mention of a “trial” or what the price would be. The online form had you put in the visa information before any pricing information displaced. I became very suspicious when I saw the “trial/shipping” amount on the shipped product – “if it sounds too good to be true, it is”. Sure enough another charge appeared on my visa statement for over $125 Cdn for 1 bottle that costs $25 at Costco. I just phoned the phone number that was printed on the email and spoke to a customer service rep that was a slime-ball. I’m willing to pay for my stupidity by the horrendous charge for one bottle but said to “make sure my account is closed”. He kept saying back to me that my account would be frozen for 2 months. I said “don’t freeze it . . . cancel it!” He wouldn’t say the word “cancel” so I finally swore at him and told him to cancel the @#$#$ account and hung up. He phoned back within 20 seconds, said the account was cancelled and would send an email to confirm it. Sure enough the email says the account is cancelled. It better stay that way. Live and learn – I learned a good one this time. WHAT A SCAM. the phone number that I called was 1-888-989-7353. The rep also snickered and told me to read the terms and conditions at myprogreencoffee.com. That is NOT the website I ordered from. I clicked on a link through facebook that showed a famous actress having lost weight and was sent straight to the scam website. Beware!!!!

  177. I fell into this awful trap, the link appeared on Facebook without any terms & conditions. I was charged £89 and £95 from the two companies that advertised these pills. I rang the bank to explain that I had two unauthorised payments taken out of my account and all they could do for me was give me the phone numbers of the companies. I rang the first one and the customer service agent actually had the cheek to offer me another product for £59.95 even after she had refused my refund. I emailed the company and said that I had a good mind to take them to a small claims court over this and they came back with everything they advertise is above board and legal. I really don’t know how they can get way with this, they must be making a fortune out of all of us.
I know that I will not get my money back and I guess that I just have to accept that but someone somewhere must be able to stop this happening in the future. To make matters worse the product doesn’t even work, I think I am going to lose more weight over the worry of losing all that money than taking this capsule!!

The claims dept who have had ALOT of scams from active works. I have called a couple of numbers 08000885586 and 0203 number. Spoken to two ladies now, they have cancelled my account supposedly, due to get an auto email in 24 hrs, took a cxlation number too. I said i had £89.47 out of my account and that i didn’t knowingly agree to this. The lady i spoke to said that i cannot send the items back due to ‘health reasons’ and that the warehouse wouldn’t even open the package and they would be disposed of. She said becos its over 30 days they cannot be returned, even the ones under 30 days. I said the bottle is sealed, un used with a valid 2018 expiry on it, so it was consumer right to returns unused goods to get refund. She couldn’t answer me. She said at first she would refund as a good will 50% off the last amount, then when i told her i had blocked paym with bank/legal action etc, she said she would refund the full £89.47 but couldn’t refund the other 2 amounts as over 30 days. I said i would send the goods anyway (advised by bank on this recorded). she said she would auto email me to confirm refund….watch this space. Feel slightly better that i wasn’t the only one conned 🙁 lesson learnt.
