Leptigen Trial Offer Review – Is this a scam?

Leptigen Trial Offer Review – Is this a scam?

After coming across a few complaints about Leptigen online I decided that it would perhaps be a good idea to review this supplement in full.

We will look to see what benefits it claims, whether its ingredients are actually effective for weight loss, and finally whether there are any hidden charges to be experienced.

Read on to discover whether we believe Leptigen to be a scam or not.

Benefits claimed by Leptigen

Leptigen is claimed to be ideal for “safe and effective weight loss”, its ingredients have also been shown to offer the following benefits:

  • Healthy weight loss
  • Reduced BMI
  • Reduced blood sugar levels
  • Burn fatty acids

This all sounds fantastic, but to ensure these claims are accurate we would need to look at the ingredients in more detail.

Ingredients found in Leptigen

There is a lot of information available on the ingredients of Leptigen, but at first glance there does not appear to be a label present.

However, after a brief search I located it in the ‘testimonial’ section of their website. It states that the ingredients of Leptigen are Green Tea, Meratrim, Chromium and Caffeine.

Now, these are some good ingredients that will certainly aid your own weight loss efforts. I would suggest however that for best results that you eat as healthily as possible and get regular exercise.

Price of Leptigen

At the present time Leptigen is available in 3 different package sizes, starting at $109.95 for a single bottle and finishing with a 3 bottle package that works out at $89.95 per bottle.

There was also a trial option available at one stage as this seems to be where the majority of complaints have come from.

The T&Cs of this trial option state that you will be charged the cost of shipping when you first sign up then once again at the end of the 14 day trial, this time for $89.95.

As with most trial offers we have reviewed, the Leptigen trial offer lead onto an auto-ship program, which will send you further monthly packages until your subscription is cancelled.

Would we recommend Leptigen?

Leptigen contains some good ingredients that are likely to aid your own weight loss efforts, the main issue with this supplement is its high cost.

The trial is also not recommended as you may think you are getting a good deal but at the end of the trial period you will be charged the full purchase price.

If you are tempted by this supplement I would recommend buying it outright, but please be aware there is no money-back guarantee listed, so if you do not experience the weight loss you had expected there is no way to get a refund.

It maybe a better idea to look for a more cost effective alternative instead.

  1. I ordered leptigen on june 26th and attempted to call to cancel my trial. I was placed on hold for an extended period of time while I was at work and could not stay on the line any longer. I tried yo call back later only to learn that the office was closed until Monday morning. I have taken leptigen since 6/30 and I have lost only 2 pounds. I have exercised and dieter religiously. Please cancel. Thank you

  2. I ordered the free trial. It took over a week to get to me so i cancelled after 3 days since I didnt think there was a way to determine if it would even work in just a weeks time. There was no hassle cancelling, they even offered a deal where it would only be $39.95 for the next month instead of $90+ to give more time to determine if it would work but I cancelled anyway. Its only day 3 but no difference yet

  3. I have Leptigen now. I did notice a slight decrease in my appetite. This could also have been a placebo affect so who knows. If you are needing to cancel, you need to call their office. It took me roughly 1 minute. They didn’t try to hassle me or anything.

  4. I have received my trial of Leptigen and do no longer wish to carry on receiving any more tablets. I do not want to be enrolled on the Leptigen member program.

  5. They gave me no hassle at all. I was surprised by 2 things.
    1. The woman spoke English and had an American name
    2. She was very thorough in explaining how the free trial works, how many pills I got, and that I could cancel my subscription, which took less than 1 min and I got a confirmation email verifying the cancellation.

Even if the pills do not work, they have great customer service which eliminated any doubts I had about them being thieves or running a scam. We will see how this goes.

My niece set me up with a free trial, so I am anxious to see if it will decrease my appetite

  6. Leptigen is an outright scam. Do not give them your credit card information for a “free trial.” They will rip you off and take more money and the product doesn’t even work. And then, they wont refund you the money that they take.

  7. I just ordered the trial an tried calling the Australia number to cancel an it’s says call bck between 9-5 it was 1pm so I don’t know how to cancel my subscription now plz help

    • I did the same thing and emailed them too. Just so they could not deduct any more money from my account I cancelled my credit card and am now waiting for the bank to issue me another one. I will never give out my credit card details again. I have learnt a valuable lesson.

    • I am in Australia too and am having the same problem

  8. I tried the free trial and didn’t like the product as nothing happened………no weight loss, appetite the same and no increase in energy!!! I have just had £76 taken from my account without my authorisation and received a supply of leptigen which I have not ordered and do not want!!!!!

Do not give them any bank details……..and product is not worth the hassle!!!!

  9. I live in Australia. I ordered the trial which arrived after 10-14 days and gave them my credit card details to pay for the “postage” of $10.95. About 3 days ago a payment of $127.95 was deducted from my credit card account without my authorisation. I could not get hold of them on the phone to cancel any further orders and I emailed them twice with no reply. I have now had to go into my bank and cancel my credit card so that they cannot deduct any more. I have to wait seven days for the bank to issue me a new card. Very frustrated and never again. I have lost no weight at all. Do not purchase their “trial”.

  10. Scammers. Have tried to stop subscription. Do not respond. Still take your money. HUGE RIP OFF. Don’t get caught. You will have to cancel your credit card to get it to stop.

  11. SCAM… SCAM…. SCAM…..

Its a scam… they bait you with the “free trial” to get your credit card information and charge you every month($95.90 USD) WITH OUT your authorisation….

  12. I got scammed by this company too–don’t know how i missed the fine print on the website. Horrified to realize I’d been charged $96 and been “enrolled” to receive this charge every month!
Called them and cancelled my monthly enrollment but was told I could not receive a refund for 30 days. Even Discover could not get my money back for me. I did take some of the pills from the little trial bottle but they gave me a stomachache. I tokd them that but they said I still needed to wait the whole 30 days for my refund, even though I would not be using the profuct anymore. I’m at 28 days right now and hoping they will actually return my money in 2 days.

Lesson learned–never give a credit card number unless I’ve made sure it’s a reputable site.

    • Hello, if you cancel your discover card, can they still charge you?? I called discover and tried to get them to block them before the order even comes in.
I saw this and tried to cancel the subscription with them immediately and they told me I have to wait 48 hours after ordering in order to cancel.

  13. Have the same problem been trying over a month to cancel my order. Sent them over 10 times and the keep telling me to phone there number. When I phone they say that they are currently closed and give me there opening times, tried that with no help. Have tried to msg on Facebook and no response does anyone have a phone number that I can call to cancel my order other than the one on their website

  14. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT ! I saw no improvements and the company will constantly take money out of your account and they aren’t very helpful with putting the money back into my account. Scam scam scam ! There are several other companies that offer products that can help you lose weight stay away from the free sample products.

  15. I received my trial pack and thought that was it not realising that month after month that money would be taken from my account. I did not request to continue with the product and have therefore tried to cancel it.
I can’t say that I can see an improvement and just want my money back asap.

  16. I ordered the trial and I cancelled within the alloted time. Now they have taken $60.00 from my checking account after cancelling! They are refusing to refund my money. Don’t fall for this “trial”.

  17. Just wanted to say regarding everyone’s opinion that it is a scam… if you read the terms and conditions that you check “I agree” to, you would know you were being enrolled in a subscription. I just called to cancel mine and was on the phone for less than 1 minute, and he asked zero questions as to why, and did not try to convince me to stay with any other “offers.” Maybe I just got a lazy rep who didn’t feel like arguing with anyone, but I was impressed with everything I’d read about how hard it is to cancel.
