LIPO-G3 scam report

LIPO-G3 scam report

LIPO-G3 is another supplement made from Garcinia Cambogia, the fat burning ingredient made popular by its appearance on the Dr Oz Show.

Unfortunately, despite appearances there are a growing number of online complaints from disgruntled customers who feel that they have been scammed following their decision to sign up for its trial offer.

Let us look at LIPO-G3 in more detail to see what the issue may be.

Benefits of LIPO-G3

The following benefits have been claimed on the LIPO-G3 website:

  • Reduced appetite
  • Stop fat production
  • Increased energy levels

These benefits are certainly achievable if the ingredients found in LIPO-G3 are up to scratch. We would need to look at them before we can verify the claims made.

Ingredients of LIPO-G3

LIPO-G3 is made using Garcinia Cambogia, Green Tea and Guarana, which promises to give ‘three times the weight loss’.

Unfortunately as there is no mention of what dosages there are of each ingredient there is no way of knowing whether any affect will be experienced.

When looking to buy a supplement, the ingredients used is one of the most important selling points and without it I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Cost of LIPO-G3

The biggest issue with LIPO-G3 is its cost, you may believe that signing up for a trial will cost you nothing or very little, well you would be wrong.

Although the initial sign up will only cost $5.99 this only covers a period of 14 days from the initial sign up. Once this elapses you will be charged a quite incredibly $89.99.

Whats worse is that signing up for this trial offer means you have given permission for LIPO-G3 to charge your account $89.99 plus $9.99 every month thereafter too.

Is LIPO-G3 a scam?

The terms and conditions state the payment details of this trial offer so LIPO-G3 are not doing anything illegal.

However, if you have signed up for this offer you are certainly going to feel as though you have been scammed.

Always read the T&Cs before signing up for any offer online, if you don’t you are leaving yourself open to lose huge amounts of money.

    • Good luck getting them to stop. They refused and I put a stop payment at my bank that they turned over insisting that by clicking agree to buy first sample I entered a contract that forces you to pay them $99.99 even though I sent the second bottle back.
Call your credit card company and get issued a new card with new numbers so that they cannot continue to screw you over.

  2. I tried the lipo g3 and regula cleanse. This product made me extremely sick. The first day I had nausea and just felt awful. The second day I actually had to leave work with a terrible headache. I don’t know what is in these pills but they are far from healthy. I called and they said they would stop charges. They told me to return bottles within 30 days. We will see if they lied or not soon. If this product does make you lose weight, it is because you are too sick to eat! I wonder how many people had had adverse side effects from this product. I really thought I was going to blow a blood vessel in my head from it, I was probably on the verge of a stroke. Losing weight isn’t worth your life. Stay away from this mystery product!!

  3. Ive been using Lipo G 3 for 6 months now and am down 65 pounds. To me it is expensive but its cheaper and safer than liposuction or gastric bypass surgery. If you read the terms and conditions before you hand over any personal information and if youre going to set your mind to losing weight…its worth it. Just one weight losers opuon though

  5. Lipo G3 is a company that feeds off of people who get what is suppose to be a free trial sample bottle and then keep sending bottles and then scam hundreds of dollars out of their bank accounts. They are totally deceitful and use fraudulent and unscrupulous business practices. They take $100.78 out of bank accounts without notification, and send a bottle of diet pills that are worth no more than fifteen or twenty dollars. When a bottle arrives a packing slip says the price of the bottle is 0.00, the cost of shipping is 0.00 and so they try to trick you into thinking that it is another free sample. When you find out that they are sucking money out of your bank account, they say that you have to pay a 15.00 restocking fee, and that they will only honor the last bottle that they sent to you to refund. They set up bogus webpages to hook customers on to the free sample and then say that you agreed to the terms and conditions that they put on their web site. You would have to be a fool to buy their product off of their website because it is so expensive. This company needs to face a class action lawsuit because they are so fraudulent and unscrupulous.

  7. It’s true that you will feel scammed, but the T’s and C’s cover what they do (regardless of ethicality).

However, I do want to warn that I was taking Lipo G3 for approximately 5 days prior to having kidney stones exit my kidneys at the same time (left and right).

Although I do not believe that Lipo G3 caused the formation (certainly not in such a short period of time), it is curious that within said short span the kidney stones exited. The urologist noted how strange it is to have them exit both sides at the same time.

Upon concern moving forward (I really don’t enjoy the pain), I contacted them to cancel my subscription (finding at that time that I was charged $99 for the trial portion – a first for this model for me). I did not receive any special consideration, regardless of the scenario – which is also unfortunate (since I no longer feel comfortable taking a supplement which may have exacerbated a medical condition).

  10. What they did isn’t illegal but it’s shady as hell. They give you 14 days from the order date. I ordered mine on April 6. 14+6= 20, right? WRONG, they count this as the 15th day, and so they charged me $200 for their 3 crappy products. The regula rx made me I’ll and the lipo3 did nothing for the short amount of time I was able to try it. I do not remember ordering the third product, yacon, but they sent it and charged me for it anyway. The yacon comes from a different address, so it’s not readily apparent that it is bundled in with the other two products. Now I have to send it all back separately (even thought 2 of them go to the same address) and get the insurance because they are not responsible for lost or stolen items. They are hoping that I won’t send them and just keep it because it is such a hassle. Sigh.

  11. So at this point i have no input on the charges cause i emailed to have mines canceled and i didn’t get a rude reply nor was i told to ship them bsck. They just cancelled order and said there would be no further charges. But o have only taken this product one day and am getting ready to go to er sick as a dog. I only took 2 lipo and 2 colon cleanse yesterday. I am dizzy, loght headed, headach, chest pains, vomiting nausea you name it.

  12. It was horrible, my physician recommended for me to wait to use the product until I had other tests done. I have been charged $99.99 for both products without being able to try them yet. I asked the company if I could just send them back (un-opened), I was told “No” by Shauna E. who calls herself a manager. I was told I will not be able to get any kind of refund and that I should find someone to give the $200’s worth of products to ($99.99 for each). She was rude and condescending. I am taking this to the Better Business Bureau.

  13. LIPO-G3 – do not order this product. I tried to call and cancel after receiving the trial and they couldn’t find my account. The next day I called and they said it was 1 day too late to cancel and I was being charged $99.99. I tried talking to their customer service and they were horrible. I asked to talk to a supervisor and was told there wasn’t one. I’m mad at myself for falling for this scam but disgusted also with the way they do business. The package came with absolutely no information on when and how to cancel. If you didn’t see it on the website when you purchased, you’re out of luck because they made it almost impossible to know how to go about doing it.

    • Okay. I cancelled my order. They put my money back in my account. Will I still need to get a new card? If they charge me, can I get a refund in the future?

    • Call them and tell them you want to cancel. Then notify your bank. Also ask for an email stating the cancellation was requested and accepted.
