This occurs when your body is not taking in enough calcium, magnesium and potassium, so your body will turn towards your bones for these vital nutrients.

If you have taken the decision to lose weight, drastic cutting of calories and food will not be healthy long-term.

#3: Your heart health could suffer

While losing a few excess pounds will help to improve your heart health, if you lose the weight too quickly then the opposite is true.

While you may feel happy to be losing weight, you most certainly will not be happy if you restrict yourself too much or if your diet is all that you think of.

Take it easy and do not put too much pressure on yourself to reach your target quickly.

You must remember that you did not gain the weight overnight, so you are asking a bit much of yourself to lose it overnight too.

Healthy weight loss should only be around 1-3 pounds per week.

Nutrients such as omega-3 is essential for your body and without it your heart and brain may suffer, resulting in difficulty in concentrating and memory lapses.
