Is Meratrim a weight loss miracle?

Is Meratrim a weight loss miracle?

It may come as a surprise to you that the world famous TV doctor Dr Oz has recently endorsed the use of a diet supplement called Meratrim.

Previously Dr Oz has only ever featured ingredients not an actual product.

Obviously sales of this diet supplement are going to go wild following this endorsement, but does Meratrim actually work? Or like so many products branded as a miracle weight loss pill fail to achieve its claims.

What is Meratrim?

Meratrim is a proprietary blend of 2 plant extracts, phaeranthus indicus flower heads and Garcinia mangostana fruit rind.

It has been claimed that taking Meratrim could help you to lose weight within 2 weeks.

Benefits of Meratrim

What did Dr Oz say about Meratrim?

During the February 10th 2014 episode of the Dr Oz Show revealed how Meratrim combined with other factors could help you to burn fat and stop further fat production.

This episode was entitled ‘Triple Your Fat Loss’ and Dr Oz himself had this to say about the program itself:

“This program works faster than ever. You start to see the results in just two weeks.”

During the show itself Dr Oz explained the rules of this new program:

  1. Take the Meratrim diet pill
  2. Double your intake of protein at mealtimes
  3. Drink pomegranate vinegar after meals

Dr Oz had previously asked 30 members of his audience to try Meratrim (400 mg 30 minutes before breakfast and dinner) for 2 weeks and to report their findings.

They were also asked to walk 30 minutes every day and not to consume more than 2000 calories daily.

The results were that the trialists had lost an average of 3 pounds and 3 inches from their waistlines.

Are there any Meratrim side effects?

As stated above in 2 clinical trials Meratrim was shown to be safe.

Meratrim is suitable for use by vegetarians and does not contain soy, wheat, yeast, lactose, citrus, milk, egg, or fish products, sugar, salt, starch, artificial colouring, flavouring, or preservatives

As with any diet supplement it is always recommended though that you stick to the dosage instructions.

Is Meratrim a weight loss miracle?

All the signs point to Meratrim being a good option for supplementing your own weight loss efforts.

Remember, you should never rely solely on the use of a supplement to lose weight as once you stop its use the weight will surely return.

Eat healthily and get regular exercise while taking Meratrim will ensure you reach your goal weight that much quicker, and will ensure you keep the weight off long term once you stop its use.

Where can you buy Meratrim?

Although Meratrim is available on its official website this is not the best place to buy it as you can save $10 off its RRP by using the Vitamin Shoppe website.

Buying from Vitamin Shoppe means you only have to pay $29.99 with free shipping to those in the US.
