Is the Natural Garcinia Cambogia trial offer a scam?

Is the Natural Garcinia Cambogia trial offer a scam?

Since its appearance on the Dr Oz Show sales of Garcinia Cambogia supplements have risen tenfold. Unfortunately there has also been a rise in products looking to scam people out of their hard earned money.

One of the more common online dieting scams are those that offer trials of their products.

These are often tempting as they seem to be cheap, yet in reality if you were to take the time to read their terms and conditions you would realise that you will be charged an extortionate amount of money.

Auto ship programs such as this are often difficult to cancel, with some companies even taking your money after cancellation.

One popular auto ship program is Natural Garcinia Cambogia (www.naturalgarciniacambogia.net), but just because it is an auto ship program does that automatically make it a scam? Lets look at this product in more detail before we come to our conclusion.

What is claimed by Natural Garcinia Cambogia?

Natural Garcinia Cambogia makes the following claims:

  • Help stop the production of fat
  • Suppress your appetite
  • Increase serotonin levels

What are the ingredients of Natural Garcinia Cambogia?

Natural Garcinia Cambogia is claimed to be made from only 100% pure natural Garcinia Cambogia, with no fillers added.

Each capsule also contains 100 mg of Garcinia Cambogia, which is the recommended amount of this beneficial ingredient.

How much does Natural Garcinia Cambogia cost?

As mentioned previously Natural Garcinia Cambogia is offered as a trial, which will last for 14 days from the moment you sign up.

After this trial period concludes you will be subsequently be charged £79.99 for the bottle you have already been sent, with further bottles and charges made every month thereafter.

Is the trial of Natural Garcinia Cambogia a scam?

Although the product seems legitimate, we are not fans of auto ship programs so will never recommend anyone to sign up for one.

The price Natural Garcinia Cambogia is offered at is also expensive with other products available containing the recommended amount of Garcinia Cambogia but at a much cheaper price.

How to contact Natural Garcinia Cambogia?

To contact the seller of Natural Garcinia Cambogia you can either email (info@NaturalGarciniaCambogia.net) or by phone (02035 141835), although they are only available 9-6pm Monday to Friday.

All returns should be sent to:

Is there an alternative Garcinia Cambogia supplement?

There are numerous Garcinia Cambogia supplements, yet Garcinia Pure is our recommendation.

It contains 60% HCA, with its dosage containing 1000 mg of Garcinia Cambogia in each capsule.

This supplement is also considerably cheaper than Natural Garcinia Cambogia at only £39.99 for a months supply, and it can be bought without having to sign up for an auto ship program.

  1. They also wait until the 14 day trial is over to send your trial product! I do not like being stolen from! When I called to make a complaint I was told ” everyone does but no one ever does anything about it” I will.

    • The company I ordered my “free trial” from did not send anything with the product telling me I had to cancel within 14 days–they just charged my account and would have continued to do so every month had I not found the $94.92 charge on my bank account. I called them and they would not refund my money and claimed that their offer said I must call within 14 days to cancel. I honestly must not have seen that in the fine print. These people are ripoff artists and got me for another product which was supposed to be free and they charged me $79.95 for that. The bank could do nothing to cancel the charges. I thought I was giving them my credit card number for the postage, not for almost $180.00, and I did not know it would be charged to my account every month. I cancelled the account. When I asked for their mailing address, the man advised they did not have one. How is anyone supposed to return for a refund? The boy
bottle gives a corporate address of PO BOX 4668 #99680 New York, NY 10163 With a customer service Number (some customer service!) of 1-888-548-6661. What a ripoff!

      • I’m 88..and scammed by Garcinia Advanced natural formula pills and Cleanse pro. Saw this on Facebook bottom of Dr Oz video(no connection to Dr.Oz) paid $4.95 and $5.95 for free trial.Missed the fine print. Every month they take $94.90 + $85.90 direct from my master card. Pills come in padded manila envelopes; 2 packages…No Invoice..same address same bar code. After m/c called. $94.90 was returned…$85.90 not returned…I callerd and operator says account cancelled. Nexty month. $89.95 and $79.95 is withdrawn. We call again…operator of company says account cancelled. I returned the products twice…got tracking second time. They still have $255.80 of m,y money. I cost me $7.00 for postage at us P.O.,,And $10.72 at UPS. I.m trying to contact NH Atty. General Delaney..called and no responce. Called AARP a young man who answers corrected me by saying the fine print was perfectly clear..I supose it is if your not 88. PS..I have tel# and address. Produce comes from Ga. Also note how the charges fluctuate. Any help would be appreciated…

        • Hi Florence, Have you tried contacting your bank about the issue? The exact same thing happened to me recently with Garcinium where I thought that I was just paying for a one-off postage and free trail. When I contacted the support by email, there was no reply and there was no where else I could contact. I ended up becoming very paranoid so I cancelled my credit card immediately. Apparently, I didn’t have to actually cancel my card…. the bank could have actually stopped the payments for me. Anyway, the bank also informed me that because I entered my credit card details onto the site and not my BSB and account number that cancelling my card will definitely work…. and it did!!!! I recommend contacting your bank prior to cancelling your card to see what they can do about stopping the payments…. I don’t think you will get any money back that has been withdrawn so far but at least you can stop any further payments!

          • So if I cancel my debit card and get a new one, will it stop making payments since i would get a new card?

          • I also got caught by this scam – really scary experience! I contacted my bank after 2 lots of £89.99 were removed from my account after the “free” trial. The bank was very helpful and has blocked the recurrent payments. This meant I have not had to cancel my card. I emailed the address at the bottom of the ad to cancel my order on the same day and have today received a reply confirming my order has been cancelled.
Not sure if I have got out of the grips of theses awful people. If I get any more problems I will get onto my local trading standards office.
A friend has ordered a similar product from Botanix and had no problems. I am considering getting a supply from Boots Online – similar products retail at between £30 and £40. Good luck to everyone trying to get out of this mess.

          • Please everyone file a complaint at BBB (Better Business Bureau). If the site says Error – just go back one screen and then go forward again and it will work. It looks up this business under their phone # (888) 673-5341, and KingFisher Media, PO Box 3, 7Midvale, UT 840470037 comes up. You can then proceed with filing your complaint. You can also go to Fraud.org and file a complaint with their online incident report form. We need to stop these thieves from taking our money!

          • Hi I just purchase Garcinia and green coffee for trial; I am worry that it is a scam. But I really wanted to try out these products. Any tips!!!!

          • I also cancelled the subscription straight away once i seen they had sneakily taken money out of my account, and even tho i got a confirmation from them that they had cancelled it for me, 6 month later they took another $180nz from my account so ive had to accept that its gone and cancelled my bank card, now they dont know my details to take more!

          • I also was scammed by them being charged an additional 2 charges on top of what I was aware off. When I rang them up to complain they responded by hanging up on me, charging an additional charge and then another charge by an automated voice when I rang back. I contacted my bank but the only option is to cancel the credit card as they can’t stop the payments. If it was a savings account with BSB they could. I’ve cancelled my card and my bank is looking into it as apart from the first 2 parents the following 3 were unauthorised which is FRAUD.

        • Hello Florence
the only way to ensure no future monies are stolen from your MC is to Cancelle it and get a new MC issued.
Good luck I hope you get your stolen money back.

        • Hi all. I know it’s a bit late for the advice, but any time you order anything online from anything other than a reputable company like Amazon, Overstock, etc., use a prepaid credit card purchased at your local walmart. They sell all types of prepaid credit cards, Visa, MC, American Express, with a small activation fee. But, the peace of mind that small activation fee and prepaid credit card can bring is worth every penny. If they won’t accept the card number, then you know it’s not a company you want to order from. I hope you guys never have to experience this type of thing again.

          • Hi Noni, call your bank asap and cancel your card. These people are scammers. Canceling your card will ensure no payment will be taken from your account. Tell the bank you found out by several people that they were scammed by this company. God bless.

          • It would be nice if anyone could
email me advice in how to cancel the order.

          • I called on the 15th day to cancel all products because Christmas Day was my 14th day. They said you have to call in the first 14th day to cancel all of them. You have to call a separate number for each product. I didn’t know the number until I saw it on my bank statement. I kept telling them it was fraud. Free trial means free. But, what they do is they send you 30 days worth of pills and on the 15th day, they charge you for what they sent. You won’t get any more pills, but they debited it $92.53 for one, $89,95 for one and $24.90 for the 3rd one. They offered me a 30% refund. I told them I would litigate it. He said if I was going to do that, he couldn’t offer any refund.
            THIS IS A HUGE SCAM!!!!

        • HI I to was robed by these bunch of B……s , I called my bank and told them what i ordered and they told me i can cancel my bank (card) and those bunch of thieves won’t be able to get another cent from me. wishing you all the best.

No freakin way. I called and they cancelled after 30 minutes of B****ing!!! I asked to speak to someone higher up and they cancelled. I even told them they were a SCAM!!!! False Advertising……..I WAS RED HOT!!! PLEASE DON’T FALL INTO THIS Now I can rest easlily knowing my credit card won’t be charged, I also called my bank and told them. I also was scammed by Perricone MD. I ordered the trail products and paid 50.00 for them. I thought that was it. The next month I get another supply only this time it’s 159.00 So I had to deal with that. I never will order online again. I only will order from Amazon because I have been ordering from them for years. As for you that didn’t catch it in time, I am so sorry you had to go through this also. Oh yes MaryAnn Palmer they had a po box, couldn’t understand that either. I hate they took that much out of your account. I LEARNED A GREAT LESSON!!! God Bless all that got Scamed

Good luck. He said everyone agrees to terms and conditions, but NO. It’s false advertising. All I had to do was put my name and CC info… didn’t have to agree to anything.

          • 800-980-1784 they offered to give me back 50% at first then when I bitched he upped it to 75% back… I will call my bank in the morning. This is ridiculous

        • how did you get them to return your money I tried for an hour yelling at them they frist would credit me 15 dollars a bottle them 30,00 a bottle never again will I order anything online they say they have a thirty day return policy but they do not

      • I think I was a victim of the same company. I just got off the phone with these people and after a few minutes of them telling me the exact same thing over and over again, I just hung up. I canceled my subscription of course. I did not see this “14 day” terms and conditions they repeatedly explained was my reason for not qualifying for a refund. I am apparently on day 15 I was told. I even offered to send what I had left back to them for my refund, as it’s not working anyways, and I was denied that option as well. These people are cons and criminals, taking advantage of vulnerability.

        • I was able to get a fujll refund and the CSR to put her foot in her mouth after I read her the Terms & Conditions they say we agreed to.

If you look on the Terms & Conditions it says in one spot:

“BELMONT CORPORATION L.P. retains a total guarantee of customer satisfaction on all Ultimate Flush Colon Cleanse auto-ship products. If you, the buyer, are unhappy with the product for any reason — even if you’ve used the full supply of the supplement— you can return the empty bottle for a full refund of the purchase price minus shipping and handling. To obtain your refund, you must do the following: Call us at 1-800-219-4818 Mon-Fri: 9am – 6pm Central Time and Sat: 9am – 1pm Central Time. You will be given a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. To receive your refund, your return must be received at our shipping facility within 30 days of purchase. Be sure to clearly write the return merchandise authorization (RMA) number on the outside of the box. Our shipping department is NOT allowed to accept any packages without an RMA number. You pay for return shipping.”

          THEN says in another paragraph:
“To be considered for reimbursement, products purchased through standard delivery (“all non-auto-ship purchased products”) must be unopened and in the original packaging. To return a product you must do the following: Call us at 1-800-219-4818, Mon-Fri: 9am – 6pm Central Time and Sat: 9am – 1pm Central Time, within 30 days of purchase (Product issues not declared within 30 days of purchase are not entitled to a refund. You will be given a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. To receive your refund, you must postmark your return within 30 days of purchase. Be sure to clearly write the return merchandise authorization (RMA) number on the outside of the box. Our shipping department does NOT accept any packages without an RMA number. You pay for return shipping.”

To anyone having trouble with these people, I encourage you to throw their Terms & Conditions back at them.

      • Hi I also took advantage of the free trial offers. I failed to read the terms and conditions cause it said FREE TRIAL so terms and conditions were not a priority to look into. I ordered from four different sites before each one reminded me of their terms and conditions. What a shock. Cancelled my credit card.

      • yes, i just got off the phone with them also. i asked about the “money back guarantee”. They said the “mbg” was only if the bottle was not opened! how are you supposed to try the product to see if it works or not if you don’t open the bottle??? the website was saying i was only paying for postage, i never saw anything about another shipment or a recurring payment from my debit card! i did manage to get a 50% refund. i actually have had (0) results from this product!!! not one change in my body and i am not needing to loose that much weight, just 20lbs or so. they said it takes several months to build up in your system! bullshit!!! if it hasn’t built up in my system in 3 1/2 weeks, it is not going to!!

      • Maybe I deserve to lose almost 200$ on TWO bottles of pills that I never even opened, but I hope others will be smart enough not to fall for this scam. I ordered Zenwei Garcinia Cambogia and Kaya Cleanse as a free trial. I had no idea that my debit card would be charged a total of $178.93 for a month’s supply! I received an email the day they STOLE money from my account informing me that since I had kept their products, my card would be charged monthly. In the email, an order number was provided for the products and a number for customer service. Of course there is not an actual person to speak to…only an automated message stating that due to the high demand for their product, all representatives were currently busy assisting other customers… I went to their website, found a different number to call and was able to speak to an actual person. After giving them the order numbers, my email, and home address, the customer service rep was unable to find me in the system. I am not sure how they can charge my card such an exorbitant amount, since according to them, I am not even a customer?! So now, the only option I have is to cancel my card and consider this a lesson learned-albeit a very expensive one!! I did file a fraudulent claim against them with my bank and the Better Business Bureau.

Kept searching for a price for the item after the so called free trial, there always is one. Thanks to this message I’ve reconsidered… thank you. Really isn’t worth being taken like that. If they let me know everything ahead of time I might have spent the money. It also isn’t a good sign that all their comments are only possitive. Obviously not everyone was satisfied.

Same exact thing happened to me!! Just received my MC bill and found I had been charged full price for Garcinia $127.01 and & Ultra Cleanse $116.18. I do not remember checking any box about a 14 day trial. Went crazy trying to locate the confirmation emails in my computer & couldn’t. Called their support line twice and was told that they do not send any email confirmations, this is ridiculous. MC says that hey can’t help me. On my second call to the Garcinia people I was told they will cancel order and give me a 50 % refund on each product. Am now about to cancel my MC and get a new one as I somehow think this is not the end of it. Beware everyone! If it sounds too good to be true it probably is!! Their customer support people are not very helpful and unfortunately their accents are so pronounced that I am unable to understand what they are talking about. Haven’t even tried the product as it was received with no information. Am not about to use the two gas vouchers for $50.00 received either, I’m sure there’s a catch to that. • You get no reply from any of there email addresses, and there phone number doesn’t work. I’ve been taken for £2.99 postage
and 1 payment of £89.99. My credit card company have blocked
anymore payments but don’t think I’ll get a refund. They told me I should refuse delivery of any goods, or if they do get delivered I should return them as I did the trial pack.
These people should be found and prosecuted.

    • These companies are con artists. There were most definitely no terms and conditions when I bought my trial because as a lawyer I check those things. I had no idea I was being charged £95 every few days it seems until I looked at my credit card. I am horrified and would urge people not to buy these products and to write and complain and sue these companies. As a lawyer, I will be taking this further.

      Reply
      • Hey any way you can help me sue them too since you’re a lawyer? I’ve already emailed them and pretty much said if I don’t get a full refund I will be contacting my lawyer. I will be talking to my bank later tomorrow afternoon about blocking anything further from them as well. Definitely learned my lesson!

    • I also got caught out in the same way, and went to my bank who sorted it out as best they could, the length and complexity of the terms and conditions are virtually impossible to make sense of,(but that’s the point!) but they won’t be getting any more of my money, that’s a bit short sighted of them, brazen but bad buisiness practice in the long run. It is simple theft cynically legalized by by Garcinia’s team of chancers!!!! This sort of dodgy policy hidden in small print ensures customers buy elswhere!! That concludes the say of a Miffed Mullen.

    • I also had fallen for this. I’m a 20 year old, I work full time and go to college after work until 10 at night. I work hard for my money only to give it all back to school. I can’t believe I fell for this, I usually don’t fall for this sort of thing. The website came up on yahoos home page about kim Kardashians weight loss and linked this website. I ordered it yesterday (there was a confirmation email but no tracking number..) After getting a phone call about other junk and giving my card number to them I quickly called my bank and canceled my card. I hope that I don’t get charged anymore (So far i payed only for the free trial shipping) I canceled my subscription online and I have 14 days to send back the unopened pills (which i haven’t gotten yet) Either way, my card is canceled. I shouldn’t have to worry right?

    • I tried a free trial offer from Garcinia Ultra and read everything to understand that I am paying only for the shipping which is $4.95. I received a bottle of the product within 10 days and the very next day after I received the product, I saw they charged $89.74 (in addition to the shipping cost). Even the product looked not authentic as the label didn’t say anything about the ingredients or where it is manufactured etc. I feel stupid to try this and its totally a scam.
When I tried to call them with the number I found on their shipping package, the representative was rude and she said that I already authorized the transaction and cannot get my money back. The most frustrating part was that now she was charging extra $2 as cancellation fee.

I can assure that I never saw that written in their terms & conditions that there is an auto shipment program that I am authorizing for.. Please never believe all these trial offers. Trust your local Gym and find a buddy to keep up your workouts.

    • Hi , I ‘ve been taken by the same misleading advert…..try Garcinia Cambogia and Extra Green Coffee pills….for free, just pay for shipping. Nothing was sent to me to advise me of a 14 day cancellation or return policy. But when I went back on the website, yes, it is in the fine print.
Was charged $119.37USD and for MyGarciniaPlus 129.95 USD.

I called the numbers noted on my credit card bill, and was double talked to death by 2 customer service reps. They offered me a 25% refund and told me I could not return the products to them. I purchased on April 19, received on April 24 and called them to cancel on May 12, to say I did not like the product , then coincidentally, was doing online banking and saw the charges, which I did not authorized. If their fine print if considered a contract, we have a big problem in the Province of Ontario, if there is no protection against these sorts of bait and switch, even though I understand that the fine print was there. It’s very bad. And the pills, used them for a few weeks, no changes whatsoever, it’s all smoke and mirrors. Everyone be warned. A bunch of baloney. I WILL NOT BE QUIET ABOUT THIS. Cancel your Account immediately. Call you Bank also. Signed, Another Burned Customer!!!!

    • I too was a sap for this product I read most of all the comments and can totally relate. I placed the order 3 weeks ago at 9-9:30pm just for the free product with paying the shipping and handling the next day I checked my bank on my phone.. as I do all the time.. And noticed another charge of something else of which I didn’t order. it was the green coffee or whatever but it was $49.91 and so I called them before I went to work at 7am. I told them I didn’t order that product and they kept on and on after asking and demanding to speak to s supervisor they said they did have one… At that point I lost it and told them I want my money back into my account by this business day so they said they could refund me half but told me to keep and try the product.. A few days later I got refunded $24.95. Now today I checked my bank and noticed another payment of $89.95 and of course there not open on the weekends. I emailed them telling them there a fraud and a scam and I’m contacting the BBB. It’s been 3 weeks and I still haven’t received this product of which when I receive it I am returning it… So after all of this I went right to my bank and canceled my debt card to get a new one….. I’m hoping this resolves it!!

    • I too was victim of this horrible scam! I opened my bank app and found an 89.00 dollar charge! But instead of calling them… I CALLED MY BANK! They told me that numerous complaints about charges from these scammers have taken place! She said she would help get to the bottom and get things straightened out! She put me on hold and she called them 3 way! They answered and I was asked a few questions .I politely thanked them for taking my call (I’ve heard so much bad things about rude CS reps they speak to) He asked me for Name email and tel #. Address to look up my account and after a few minutes “Emmanuel” the person who I spoke with told me he had canceled my subscription and refunded my 89.00 back into my account, this while my banker was still in the line also listening 🙂 so I thanked him and we hung up… I greatly thanked my banking Rep Roksanne who if it weren’t because she called things may have gone differently. I told her I may have some payments bounce but she said she will take care of it and put a note in my account… Thanks u Roksanne ! .NEVER AGAIN! Lesson learned!!!!!

I clicked a link from one of my webpages I shop from often. The offer was for a FREE bottle trial offer from natural garcinia cambogia, I said ok, lets go with this for $4.95, what can it hurt…hmm.

Fast forward, two weeks, I see a pending charge on my account for $89.99.
….hmm. I call and I speak with the rep, after a little info from me, I ask what the 89.99 charge was for. I asked is it for my next order 2-3 bottles perhaps. He said no, that was for your trial offer. I said your mean my free trial offer? He said no and immediately asked me to go to the website to see what I signed up for. I said NO I signed up for a FREE TRIAL!! He said please look at the website.

This went on 2 more times with this company all reps asking me to go to the website. I told them that was not the link I clicked on and I have the website and photos of your product stating “FREE TRIAL” offer. Finally, I asked to speak with a supervisor. I was disconnected.

I believe they have FRAUDULENT websites offering their free trial offers, you purchase and Two weeks later you notice a charge of $89.00, then when you call they say NO…that is not us please go to our website …. I can’t even imagine how many people fell into this FRAUD!!!!

If I went to the REAL WEBSITE I would never have committed to this product. above all paying 89.99 and 4.95 and another charge of 1.95. Unethical FRAUDULENT business practices!!!!

I managed to get my second charges refunded through this today. My bank were very unhelpful until I mentioned this legislation and wasn’t mentioned in initial calls

  26. I am another one who didn’t know I had signed up for a monthly supply and charge of $89.
I had to change my credit card and am filling out the dispute papers with my credit union.
When I called the company they said they could not refund my money. When I try to use their
(then) telephone # to cancel my subscription (which I didn’t know I had signed up for) they led me through all the press this and press that, but no one answers. Finally they hang up without ever speaking to me.
Anyway I found a website www[dot]mygarciniasupport[dot]com. When I contacted it they said my contract was already cancelled. Possibly because I had called to get a refund. Unless by some surprise I do get a refund, I will probably be stuck paying the first $89.

  30. I unknowingly set myself into a monthly subscription through a free trial offer on Facebook. They charged me for the first products which I reported to my bank. The next month they took the same amount again. I was told I had to cancel by contacting the supplier but with only numbers that didn’t work I was at a loose end. However, I found very useful info on moneysavingexpert website. New legislatiin in 2009 means that you have the right to cancel through the bank, I rang up to complain that the info of having to contact the supplier was incorrect and resulted in me being charged again. They have refunded my second month subscription and the whole subscriptions for the future. If you have reported to the bank any charges after can be refunded back to your account.

  36. I also ordered the FREE TRIAL bottles of GARCINIA Cambogia along with YACON detoxifier/colon cleanser for just the charge of $4.95 S&H. Almost immediately charges appeared in 2 seperate places and just a phone # on one of them. Much later I received the 2 bottles together in a small plastic bag. No invoice or pymt receipt in bag, just a thank-you slip for ordering. Not even a company name on return address. Just an address. I hadn’t even tried them yet since no instructions provided as far if the 2 differed meds were taken together or thedetoxifier taken before starting Garcinia . Each bottle had same directions. Take 2 a day about 30 minutes before meals. I hadn’t even started to take them yet when my account was charged 2 places again for $87.87. I had opened bottles to see if they were pills or capsules and noticed one of first ingredients was CALCIUM WHICH ALL OTHER ADS CAUTION NOT TO TAKE CALCIUM WHEN TAKING THEIR CAPSULES. I’M OUT ABOUT $200 WITH S&H CHARGES PLUS CAPSULES AND BANK COULD NOT GET MONEY BACK. THESE FRADULENT PRACTICES SHOULD BE ILLEGAL AND SHUT DOWN.i NEVER SAW ANYTHING ABOUT THE COST AFTER TRYING THEM OR HAVING TO CANCEL WITHIN 14 DAYS!! Since I’m living on soc. sec I would never order anything that expensive if I had known ahead.

  37. DO NOT TRY!!! They tried to scam me out of $87.47 saying it was non-refundable because I agreed to the terms and conditions. I signed up for the free trial and paid the $4.95 shipping but no where else agreed to future auto shipped orders as they told me on the phone when I tried to cancel. I never got an email or any other info in the packing slip when the free order came in. When I saw the $87 charge I called to get a refund and was told I couldn’t but could get a discount on further orders. I asked to speak to a manager and was told ‘they are going to say the same thing’. I insisted on speaking to them, so I was put on hold and then offered half a refund of the $87. I told then I wanted it all back or I would go to my bank or whoever else I could and after a few more minutes received an email I would get all of the $87 back in a few days. THIS IS NOT WORTH THE HASSLE!!! DO NOT ORDER!!!

  38. Hi guys, I am an employee of a reputable financial institution in Australia. If you have fallen victim we can get your money back. I have successfully charged back these assholes numerous times for my customers. What you MUST do is a) cancel as soon as possible and request a refund, even if it is after the trial period has ended and b) return to sender any product you have received. Keep record of correspondence, date cancelled, date returned and take it to your bank and lodge a Visa dispute. If your bank knows their Visa Rules and Regs they can then process a chargeback. Best of luck.

My story is very similar to everyone else’s went for the $4.95 trial only to be charged $89.95 17 days later. After many attempts to get a refund I was told that I agreed to the terms so oh well. I told them to cancel my “membership” and was charged another $89.95 4 days later smh. More calls and all I got was the runaround. Every time I asked to speak with a supervisor I was asked why, what do I want to discuss and that the supervisor was in a meeting and none was available and this was 3 different attempts with different representatives. Just Stay away from this company. By the way , the pills DON’t work.

I called the number provided by my bank statement, and and what exactly the name of the company was. The rep said “This is customer service” like that was a legitimate answer to my question. All I wanted to do was figure out where my product was when he informed me about being charged after the 14 day trial period. He said everyone agrees to the terms and conditions when purchasing the product. I told him regardless this is false advertising and any company who bases their profit on trickery needs to be revealed for their true colors. He said that he will have to resend my product, and after I said forget it I don’t want it, and told him to refund my money, he said my product will be there Monday. Well I just got off the phone with my bank and GOOD LUCK getting anymore money from me and I will bitch until they give me my ten dollars back too. This type of business is disgusting! Today is the fifth and I still havent gotten my bottle of pills that was promised for free yesterday. I did know that I would have to cancel before 14 days was up because I always read the fine print, but their website also says that I would recieve my FREE TRIAL before the 14 days was up so that I could determine if I wanted to pay the monthly fee before making that big of a commitment. As soon as i read this board I rushed to my bank and cancelled the card I had used to pay for shipping and handling. I’m sure ill never see that five dollars again or the “pills” that I ordered but im so happy I didn’t get scammed out of nearly 200 dollars. I cant wait until they try and charge my card. What absolute low lives. I even tried to call the number on the website atleast six times throughout a 2 day time span and no one ever seems to be available. BE WARE. DO NOT TRUST THIS “COMPANY.”

Second, there is no small print details in where I signed up for the “free trail” which actually is a pop up screen from Facebook links. Just be careful. Third the attached sheet with the product that they sent u have a phone no. please call that ASAP to cancel ur order, no need argue with them JUST CANCEL the order, follow the instructions: copy down the return address and RMA (return merchandise ) number, then mailed back all unwanted products. That what i did so far and the and if they still charge money I will take further action with my bank. My bank said they can put on a dispute and try to get money back. 68. There has been an elaborate plan devised in order to profit from the use of dishonest advertisement. This market is aimed at people who own credit cards, have an internet connection and wish to better themselves by using a weight-loss product. These products can be garcinia cambogia extract, green coffee extract, raspberry ketones or a colon cleanse. A typical dishonest advertisement that uses this type of marketing would likely say something like “Claim your free trial bottle today! Only pay shipping and handling!”. It is the hopes of the merchant that the customer would get excited by this offer, hastily enter in their shipping and billing information and click “Rush my order”.

I have worked as a customer support representative for a third party call center which handled customer service for people who had created accounts by ordering trial bottles. Almost all of the callers did not know that they were going to be charged for their “free” trial bottles nor did they know that they had been enrolled in a subscription plan to receive a new supply every 30 days. When working as a third party customer service provider for such a despicable company, the agents were taught to treat their jobs as being chargeback preventers. The worst case for a dishonest company is for the customer to successfully pursue a chargeback through their credit card company or bank. A chargeback occurs when a bank sides with the mutual client of the dishonest company and forcibly retrieves the funds and puts them back in the customer’s credit account. This is the last thing that the dishonest company wants, as it harms their reputation AND it often results in hundreds of dollars of fines. The bank will often encourage their customers to fist attempt to resolve the issue directly with the company before they decide to pursue a chargeback.

Upon closer examination of the trial offer (opening and reading the terms and conditions of sale) it would become apparent that the customer would first pay the shipping and handling, and often a sort of ‘priority package’ (which was often a surprise to the customer and made no difference in the shipping) and would only get charged for their product after their trial period which is usually 14 days, and billed and shipped a new supply every 30 days. The charge for the product is very high, usually these companies will charge twice as much as the product is actually worth. A bottle of high quality garcinia cambogia extract, or an all-natural colon cleanser will go for around 40$ in stores such as GNC, however the company offering trials of these products will usually charge between 80$ – 90$ per bottle.

If you are attempting to get a refund from a ‘scam’ company follow these tips and you will definitely get a full refund. The best way to get fully refunded (and usually keep the bottle for free) is to mention that you had already discussed pursuing a chargeback through your bank. Stating that your bank is planning to pursue a chargeback if the company does not refund you fully will be seen as an imminent threat to the ‘scam’ company and they will likely either issue a full refund or they will tell you to return the bottle for a full refund. The latter seems reasonable at first though once the return process is explained you will likely find it ridiculous and become infuriated.

The RMA process, or ‘Returned Merchandise Authorization Process’, is an elaborate process which is “used as a tool to discourage the customer from returning the bottle”, as explained by my former boss. The RMA process does not exist. There is no RMA number to be requested, the number does not take two days to generate and there is no ‘restocking fee’ of 15%. Customers were told that this process will cost between 27$ – 34$, since they would be required to pay for a ‘tracked signature shipping method’ to return the bottle as well as a 15% restocking fee. No one ever goes through with this process and if they really tried to they would get fully refunded and told to keep the bottle. This tedious return method will be presented to the customer and will often be followed with a seemingly easier option, which is a 25% or 50% refund off the charge. The customer will often accept this offer and the ‘scam’ company will profit. However, if the customer accepts to return the bottle above all else the customer support representative will refund the charge fully and will let the customer keep the bottle free of charge. If this does not work then warn the ‘scam’ representative that you will pursue a dispute/chargeback with your bank. If all else fails, pursue the chargeback and inform your banker that you were a victim of misleading or false advertising.

I waited a week for the pills to arrive & 4 days later I was charged $88.99 for each bottle. How is that a credible 14 day trial period when half that time is spent waiting on the damn pills to come in the mail? I spent like 30 min on the phone with them demanding a refund for the full amount of $177.98 & they had the gall to tell me they can’t refund that amount due to policy. They would only refund 50% which is only $88.99 & finally I just let it go & asked for the bullshit refund. I still have not seen the $88.99 back in my account & I am furious. Now I am obligated to go & cancel my card to make sure these people don’t charge me again. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE. • I argued with these people for 4 days (the third day they had some bogus excuse saying they can’t help me because their systems are down & they can’t use their computers, & to try calling the next day). Finally yesterday I demanded to speak with a manager & the rep said “hes gonna say they same thing I am”. I yelled at the manager, I was so angry that I just started crying & I know he was uncomfortable. I told him it was complete bullshit that you don’t get 14 days with the pills at all, it was more like 4 days. After I agreed to get Only half my money back, he told me “have a nice day!” & I almost went through the phone to strangle him. I filed a complaint with the BBB & quickly got a response from the BBB AND the garcinia Cambogia. The GC response was their stupid terms & conditions policy that they rub in your face when you’re on the phone with them & at the end they said “we have refunded both amounts of $88.99 to your account” BOTH! That’s all my money back! I have yet to see $178 refunded to my bank account, they say to allow 2-5 days for processing. If by the end of the 5 days there isn’t a cent refunded, I will keep fighting this with bigger guns. If complaining to the BBB does the trick then I highly recommend it

  72. Damn why couldn’t I had found this website before!!! I just got taken by this Garcinia Advanced.
Since they give no invoice or anything else to go on when your order is received other than the malia envelope it comes in I assumed it was sent for the price of the shipping charges alone.
Never saw the terms pop up like they said I had to click on it to agree to the order.
You have to look for the terms which I did today since they charged my credit card $89.95 today. They counted from Oct 15th to Oct 29th as 15 days not 14 days. And it’s not from the day your product is shipped or received. They start the clock the second you order.
I argued the fact but they suck at customer service. They have my money and that’s that!
As for the product haven’t used it long enough to see any results but it does look like anything you can buy at the health food store and could probably get it cheaper and not have to get suckered into a scam… If one person doesn’t order from these jerks then I at least saved someone else.

  73. OK on top of the $89.95 argument for the Garcinia Advanced (888)57-4730 I had ordered the Cleanse Pro for another shipping charge. Thought the nightmare was over after having to deal with the customer service several times. Then did email me a RMA # and they confirmed I would receive a refund but that remains to be seen. I ask about the Cleanse Pro that it recommends you order from the same sight. However it is a different company and you have to call (888) 774-1430 them as well to cancel as I got charged $79.95 for the bottle of cleanse and they give you the same BS about 14 days and I was on day 15. Since I ordered on Oct 15th and today is Oct 29th although the rest of the world would consider it day 14 they do not count from the day of shipping or the day of receipt it is from the day of order and count each day.
Like I said before nothing comes in the envelope when it arrives with no invoice, phone numbers, how to return, term info. Nothing! Arguing with them doesn’t help unless you want your blood pressure to go up. I will file a complaint with BBB.
I have contacted my bank to enlist their help. There were two separate charges and listed under two different names on my bank account. I had no idea I was going to be charged until it showed up on my account. I did look for any terms during the process of ordering as I am computer savvy but nothing popped up during the process to give me any indication that I would be charged anything additional.

  76. DO NOT Sign up for any free trials. IT IS A SCAM. If you have signed up and are trying to cancel my advice would be to cancel your debit card and get a new one. Cancelling the card can sever the link between this company and your account. Any free trial is most likely too good to be true unless you are going through a very reliable source. Don’t give these people any of your information, spend a little more if you really want to try this product and go through a legit company.

  79. I signed up for the free trial too. Then a few days later I noticed an $89 charge from the same company. I immediately called my bank to block them and turn them in. I contacted the number that is listed on my bank statement and that is the wrong number. My bank gave me another number and they said I didn’t order with them. I have called the above number and when I enter my phone number it says I don’t come up. I have no information to cancel this. This is a big scam. I have to turn in paperwork to turn them in and get my money back. It is difficult because I don’t have any paperwork. This is very frustrating.

I talked to them and they told me they would refund me 60% of the amount in 7 business days. I reported the same to the bank and also they have cancelled my account. If this didnt happen what should I do. If anyone could advise it would be good

  81. I had heard about this product and wanted to try it so I ordered the free trial online. The product never showed up, and a month later I see all kinds of charges PPP up on my account. Not only did they enter me in some free trial, but they gave all my info, including my bank and debit card info to a secondary company, who was also charging me for their 28/mo trial on top of the 89$ from the original company. In addition to all kinds of 2$ fees from both companies. And when Incall company to dispute they have no record!! They have enough record to keep charging me $89 a month, but not enough of a record to stop charging me! I could not believe the nerve and that this is even LEGAL to give out someone’s bank info and to charge them! Thankfully my bank reversed the charges and the overdraft fees I acumlated after this $130 mistake I made, that I thought was going to be a $4 shipping a handling charge ONLy! Crazy! Beware! I fell for it, hopefully I can save the next person!

  82. I also got scammed, thought I was getting free trial samples and just paying for the shipping on those. December 4th get an emal of order confirmation for the 2 products. I call them straight away, gotmcut off 4 times, finally talked to a guy and asked him not to send the product, which I never ordered in the first place, not to charge my credit card, he told me they would refund my money, I also told him to cancel this order, remove me from my mailing list and to make sure he “unsubscribed ” me. Got a confirmation email to say they received my request to “return” my money ….seems only for the one product! I emaled and opened a “support ticket” to complain and would receive a call from customer service within 24/48 hours……its now January 3rd, no call, no money and …. surprise!!!! Another email confirming my next “autoshipment!” So I call again today and talk to the same customer service rep, thats a joke! I told him exactly the same thing, cancel my subscription, do not charge my card, take me off your mailing list…let me talk to your supervisor, oh hes out of town till monday!! I did cancel my card and dispute the charges with them, so far nothing. I just filed a complaint with BBB…Feeling rather stupid at the moment, lesson learned…. Thanks to everyone on here posting advice!

I have since cancelled my membership, yet I just received a $19.95 membership fee activation charge on my account IN ADDITION to the two charges of $89.95 for pills I have yet to receive. Since I cancelled my account, the “computer” on the other side of the phone won’t let me talk to an actual human being. I have never been scammed before in my life so I am extremely upset. This has now bounced charges in my bank account and prevented me from paying rent in full on time! I am filing a suit against this company as soon as I get the “go ahead” from my lawyer! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!! I am aslo filing with the BBB!

  85. I’m sorry to hear how everyone has been ripped off, and you can include me in the group. I don’t recall reading anything about an auto-subscription or being charged in full for the trial if I didn’t cancel in 15 days, or that the price was $79.99USD for each bottle of garcinia and green coffee. After conversion right now, I am paying between $116 and $124 CDN. I was surprised when I saw charges on my visa 15 days after I order for $114 and $124, then 15 days later (today) another charge for the green coffee for $116. I called the numbers on the bottles (877-581-9517 for garcinia) and (888-986-3384 for green coffee). After arguing for more than 20 minutes with the customer service rep listening to how they would reduce all future purchases by 50% and give me a gift certificate for $100, I finally convinced her to cancel my subscription for green coffee. I then asked if she could cancel my subscription for garcinia, she told me I would have to call the number of the bottle, I did and guess who answered, the same rep I was just speaking with. At least I didn’t have to argue with her to have her cancel my subscription this time, although she did go into her speech about why I should keep using it, there must be a reason why I ordered it in the first place. What a joke. Anyway, I hope it truly is cancelled and that I see no more charges on my visa, only time will tell. This is a lesson that cost a few hundred to learn, don’t make the same mistake. I may still order this product, but from Canadian Supplements where I purchase other products without any problems.

  87. GOOD NEWS!!! My bank has successfully disputed all of the transactions this doggy company had charged to my credit card.

All what I did was to contact my bank, and filled in a dispute form, attached the original $0 trial emails (one for order and one for shipment), and stated that these two were the only emails I have received, and there was no terms and conditions at the time of confirming my free trial order.

I am urging everyone who had a similar experience to do the same. Be firm. The company tried to scam and scare us. There was no terms and conditions as they tell you, there was no small print on the email. Don’t let their scare tactics make you doubt yourself. The reality is that you have NOT signed up anything, and they do NOT have any prove that you have signed up for anything.

The whole process took about 8 weeks, but my bank gave me the full refund straight after I filled in the dispute form. They then kept me informed about their progress until they closed the case by successfully getting money back.

    Good luck!!!

We must not let companies like this get away with this or the reputable ones will be in jeopardy. It needs to make it’s rounds on Facebook and other social media so others are not scammed out of their money like all of us. A sad reflection on what this company can get away with!

  98. No not buy the free trials. I was under the illusion that it was a great product and you got the one free trial bottle and only had to pay the $12 for shipping for both the Pure Detox and Garcigenia Cambogia. Oh how wrong I was. I never got a confirmation email and I waited much longer for the product than I should have. I researched the product and if it was a scam and I found nothing so I thought I might as well. Little did I know I would be charged almost $160 because I did not call and cancel my trial that I had no idea I had to do. I called customer service and got an irate representative that argued with me and yelled at me and tried to convince me that it was VERY clearly stated that I would be changed if I didn’t cancel. I read over it and the page several times and saw nothing. This is not technically a scam because you do get your product, but this company is immoral and is only trying to find ways to get your money. DO NOT get the free trial; get the product somewhere else.

  100. DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT ON LINE WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD!!!!
THIS IS AN AUTO-BILL CREDIT CARD SCAM ON MONTLY SUBSCRITION.

Any free trial – $4.95 is a hook to have you agree to credit card “Auto-Bill” for monthly subscriptions to this product. I was caught into this trap very easily like others. If you want your money back here is the only way you can based on what I did. As the saying goes, “don’t hate the players, hate the game”!

I signed up for the free trial and the biggest mistake is not to scroll down to the bottom of the main page where their terms and conditions (legally protecting the web entity) clearing outlines your agreement and commitment for a 14day trial – $4.95 is the shipping cost and make no mistake day 15 your credit card will be billed for the full cost of the product, in my case $70.65 & $77.01. If I was not monitoring my credit card, this would continue monthly.

This is one of the oldest internet billing scams, the only difference is this company and its owners have found a “dirty web designer” to execute their scam in a very diplomatic way by protecting themselves legally on-line. To the regular unsuspecting consumer, who
May not be in most cases knowledgeable or for that matter have the time, persistence and know how into nailing them to the cross, they get away with racking in millions, easy money by the minute.

TERMS –Clearly posted on the bottom of first page which applies to the free trial and not their web page or company.

    Auto-Ship Policy – Trial Policy:
IF ORDERING THE TRIAL OFFER: You must pay a shipping and processing fee of $4.95 on day 1 for us to send you a full 30 day supply of Garcinia Cambogia Plus. If you are unhappy with the product at any time during those 14 days, you must call us at 0 (808) 187-1023 and cancel your order to avoid being billed for the full cost of the product. If you are satisfied with our product, then do nothing-we will bill you $92.53 on day 15 plus sales tax where applicable for your initial order, and then 30 days from your initial order from day 1 and every 30 days thereafter we will send you a new month supply of our product, and automatically bill you the low price of $92.53 plus sales tax where applicable. HOW DO YOU GET YOUR MONEY BACK?

With Fear and not aggression, this is how I had my money back within 3 days of my first call to their so called customer service line: 877-581-8626 & 1-844-809-2606

Their customer service lines are being routed to the Philippines, Brooklyn and Florida.
The individuals manning these calls are prepared and waiting for your call with rebuttal scripts in hand. Do not waste time arguing and telling them what they already know.
Skip right to asking for a Supervisor – again another individual who is trained and probable working for minimum wage but a high commission rate for diverting your call and retaining their scam of keeping your money.

We know that Legal action is the only way to stop companies like this from doing what they do, however who has a Lawyer on retainer for this type of mistake?
So I represented myself on the second call!!!

First they will pretend to handle the call as if you are a regular customer and ask for your account number, again bogus. This so called account number is the “Order Number” on your receipt for the trial offer. Which is now being referred to an account number because you now have a monthly billing account with them!

The first call they gave me every single rebuttal they had on paper and run out very quickly, because here is what they are trained to say: “Ms, you agreed to trying the product”, You signed up and we have your IP address, We have our terms and contract on the first page, please take a look at it, you agreed. Sorry, there is nothing I can do. You gave us your mailing address, we sent you the product. This is the cost of the product.

The second call went something like this: I said I was calling on behalf of my client and what you are doing is illegal and there is going to be repercussions. I am gathering information and will need for you to be very honest with me as my next step is to file legal action to obtain her money and put a stop to this type of illegal activity.
And the phone when silent, I could smell the fear over the line.

Indirectly I become a lawyer investigation the type of business they were running.
The two individuals gave their name: Katerina Ortiz and Alex Garcia.

I started my questioning completely diverting from any questions which they already had the answer to on paper. The type of questions you need to know who you are, where you are and what you do and why you are doing what you do. I even went as far as advising Mr. Alex Garcia to find himself another job, he is too good to be representing such an awful employer, do better with his skills.

This was not an aggressive call, I asked basic questions about the company, where they were located and details about the auto billing without authorization as well as
Asking him what is the procedure they have in place when someone confirms they did not agree to be billed or pay the cost of the product when it is not legally summarized anywhere on the trial area and is about to take legal action to reverse all charges and cancel any further charges. (All in my lawyer, assertive tone of course)

He simply said, we will typically send an email to confirm the cancellation and reverse the charges on the credit card within 3-5 business days.

I then said I am going to give you an opportunity to do so before filing legal action, however if this does not happen in 5 business days, I will proceed with action.

Within an hour, I had a cancellation email, within 3 days I had my money back into my account and lost the delivery fee.

Don’t hate the player, hate the game!
Hope this is helpful it worked for me!

  109. I Just ordered the Garcinia Cambogia XT from a Facebook ad yesterday night. I didn’t take the time to research about the product because I wanted to quickly purchase it since it said “Free Trial” and showed that it was going to end on the date. After I purchased it, I looked up articles about it to see if it could work or not and I found a lot of sources saying that it didn’t so I called today in the morning to cancel my account and a representative kept telling me “I’ll extend the account until the end of this month.” I assumed maybe it will work and told her okay. I then looked up online for articles and I found out that a lot of websites are scams. I also looked back at the website/ad that I got it from and when I went to go back on the page it immediately took me to another site and then I tried again and it said the webpage is invalid. I got worried so I called back and asked them to cancel the purchase even though it didn’t arrive yet. She said she will cancel it and send an email notification. I got the cancellation notification email but still I felt as though I was scammed, I asked for a refund since I did pay for the $4.96 shipping price and she said “I wasn’t charged to your account so you don’t get a refund since it hasn’t shipped yet”. I haven’t checked my bank account yet but I will call the customer service to my bank just in case to cancel my card and perhaps block the company that would take my money. I feel so ashamed to not have thought it was a scam the whole time or even bother looking up articles stating most of the websites are scams. I’ll make sure to be more careful next time

  110. I love reading these forums. I used to work for a company or multiple companies that are combined who do this. It is funny because on the first day of training they let us know that they prey on people who are not smart enough to read the fine print. With that being said, I know the business. You order these items and after the trial is up they bill for the full amount, no new news there. If you call within the trial, get an rma number (return merchandise authorization number) (that is only if the trial sample has to be returned), and you are cleared out of the system. If not you are placed in a recurring monthly billing of x amount. Also, if you don’t have x amount they will lower the price and bill you til they can get something out of you. However, they tell you that they will not give a refund, DO NOT BE FOOLED AGAIN. If you mention bank dispute, BBB, or Attorney, they will… they will offer you the least refund possible 15 or 20%.. ask to speak to a supervisor they will then offer more and more until you get atleast 75%. Trust me I worked in these slums for sometime.. I felt bad everyday because we weren’t allowed to actually help people, unless they were ordering products… however I have a small child and needed the money til I became a LPN. Good luck
ps. they also only give one refund so be cautious

  114. I was charged on the 3rd and it was for 64.99. Really what the hell? I contacted my bank to see if I could cancel the charge but seeing as it was already pending, the best they could do was to wait for it to go through then contact the dealer. I also contacted two garcinia emails and told them to stop my subscription seeing as I have to pay for classes but it’s ridiculous because they’re only operational on weekdays. I guess the good thing is that my bank said they’d deal with most of it and get me my money back but it’ll take up to 120 days to really do it and I don’t have that. Classes have already started and I need to buy books.

  115. Man this company is a scam. They took almost 200.00 out of my account and when I called the representative had an attitude with me. She was combative and argumentative and told me , “you wont get your money back we win all of our BBB cases because you signed up for the 90 day trial. So mad right now.

  116. Hi I’m from the UK. I purchased the trial product for £4.95 in August. I’m not COMPLETELY STUPID or GULLIBLE!!!!, but thought at £4.95? could afford to try it out. BUT LO and BEHOLD!, a month and a half later, was left a card by the Postman on Friday ( 2nd Oct ), to say they tried to deliver a package, but too big for letterbox, so could I collect it from Sorting Office. Puzzled by what the package could be, as I had not ordered anything online for a while…….set off to collect parcel the next day, Saturday. Opened it, and to my amazement, found a bottle of PERFECT GARCINIA and a despatch note…….SHOCKING PART OF THE NOTE!!??… I’D PAID £85 FOR THIS ORDER!!!!!?????
Sunday morning ( today ) rang the FREEPHONE number to query and ask for refund. Spoke to a man, who told me that they cannot refund me, as the TERMS were WRITTEN OUT for all to SEE! Told him that I have bought a LOT of things online and never been conned before, or had Money taken out of my Bank Account, without my AUTHORISATION! Asked how their Company can CON vulnerable women in this manner. SO, LADIES, LADIES, PLEASE DO NOT PART WITH YOUR BANK DETAILS TO THIS COMPANY……….NO MATTER HOW TEMPTED YOU ARE!!!!……………………….IT’S NOT JUST A SCAM, IT’S THEFT!!!!! BE WARNED!!!

  117. ordered the free trial for $4.95 shipping. A couple of week later, I received another order confirmation for over $100. I called them to advise that I didn’t order anything else and haven’t even started my free trial and ask to return it. They advised me that I cannot and started offering me all sorts of vouchers and discounts on my next order. I kept saying no and to please refund me. I also e-mailed them and after 3 e-mails and advising they i have contacted the bank to not allow any more payments to go through, they have advised they will cancel my account and not send me any more shipments. I am still responsible to pay over what comes to almost $150 CDN for one bottle of Garcenia. I bought the same thing at a health food store for about $30. I have been completely ripped off and am not happy.

  118. Hi everyone. I just called them at 1-888-989-7511 and said I would return the product and I want my money back (haven’t opened the package yet). There was a big argument, you agreed to Terms & Conditions, etc etc, it’s legal.

Now she’s giving me a 75% refund and a $100 voucher for groceries or something. I don’t know. But I expect to see that money back on my card soon.

I also told her that they had better not put any more charges on my card or I will be contacting a lawyer. She seemed pretty happy to give me a 75% refund. Don’t settle for any less than that, or take them to the ropes.

Personally, I wouldn’t mind trying the supplement, so I’m okay with taking what I can get. Don’t agree to less than 75% back, she didn’t even hesitate and sounded quite pleased with the outcome. Scary.

Make sure you get a cancellation and refund confirmation number.

  119. TOTAL SCAM!

My dad saw this product online and asked me if I would buy it for him, I said okay and I did even knowing that this is a scam. On the website, it said the product would arrive in 3 days. We both waited for the 2 days, alleged 3 days and nothing, no UPS or Purolator guy showed up at our door. I got a statement from the bank today and immediately went to go and discuss it with a rep and sorted everything out. When the bank rep called customer care, they were familiar w this company being a scam so I was glad that I wasn’t the first one but feeling bad that others got conned as well. Long story sort, I called the scammers today and demanded for a FULL REFUND, should show up in 5-7 days depending on the bank you’re with, and a confirmation email w/i 24 hrs.

P.S: They charged me for shipping $6.61 + $2.65 CAD (S+H, non-refundable btw) and $135.65, for the product.

I hope they honour this; I want my money back! >=(

  121. I used the phone number on the “terms and agreement” to try and cancel my trial and I was told they didn’t have my information to cancel. They told me to go to my bank. The bank showed me another phone number on my statement to call. When I did they told me the 14 day trail was over and I could only get half of my money back. I argued about their terms and agreement customer care contact and the time I spend on that phone call and sever e-mails is only reason the 14 days is over. I couldn’t get answers but had tried to cancel since day 5 of the trial. They did agree to full refund. When I got the refund I had only received a portion, so I called again and argued. They told me the terms and agreement phone number was not their web site. Funny how I wasn’t told that before or how I was able to print them and how the customer service couldn’t tell me any different. I now can not find that site on line. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM. Lession learned: Don’t order on line form a Facebook ad.

  122. Unfortunately I work for the company that handles most of these clients and companies and yes I can say they are criminals. From the deceptive marketing to the tricks they use to illegally take people’s money, yes illegal. Me and a lot of other employees are in contact with the attorney general and other government organizations to sue them and shut them down. We need as many customers that have been through this scam to help us bring them down. The main company that handles this is called Alpha Connect their direct phone number is (602) 456-2257 and address is 4502 E. University Dr. Phoenix AZ. Contact the attorney general in your state as well as Arizona. And if you call them let them now asap that you will be filing a report with the attorney general, the better business bureau and your local senators office and they have to give you your money back. They will start at 30%, 50% and then give you 100% so never agree too anything less than 100%! If you would like to additionally help to stop others from going through this leave a post here and I will provide you with my contact information. Thank you.
