Is the Natures Answer Cleanse & Detox trial a scam?

Is the Natures Answer Cleanse & Detox trial a scam?

Natures Answer Cleanse & Detox is advertised as being the “#1 all-natural cleansing product” that will help you to “detox and flush fat”.

Yet as it is available for trial I have my doubts regarding both its effectiveness and whether or not it is a scam? Previous trial offers we have looked at previously have turned out to be auto-ship scams.

Is this supplement yet another disappointment? We would have to look at this trial in more detail before we decide what the truth is.

Claimed benefits of Natures Answer Cleanse & Detox

This supplement supposedly offers the following benefits:

  • Flush harmful toxins
  • Get a flatter, leaner stomach
  • Reduce excess water weight
  • Boost energy levels naturally

As with any potential supplement you should not rely solely on claimed benefits, at the very least you should look to see if there is any proof behind the claims. For instance is it made using proven ingredients?

Ingredients found in Natures Answer Cleanse & Detox

Although Natures Answer Cleanse & Detox contains some proven ingredients there is no label present so no way of knowing just how much of these ingredients are present.

While some benefits may be experienced, you simply wont know unless you try it, which could be an expensive mistake.

True cost of this trial?

While the initial cost is hidden from view, when you read the terms and conditions you will soon discover for yourself why Natures Answer Cleanse & Detox should be avoided.

Signing up for the trial only gives you 16 days before you receive a bill for £80.

Would we recommend Natures Answer Cleanse & Detox?

Certainly not, not only are the ingredients listed vague, but the supplement itself is overpriced.

There are various alternatives available that will cost a fraction of this quite frankly ridiculous price.

How to cancel your trial?

If you wish to cancel the trial you will need to phone before the 16 day trial period elapses. You should use the following number:

0800 311 8091

Please leave a comment below if you have signed up for this trial offer. We would love to hear what you thought about the product itself.

The following video could help you get a refund too:

Alternative to Natures Answer Cleanse & Detox

Our recommended alternative to Natures Answer Cleanse & Detox would be a supplement sold online by Evolution Slimming.

This particular supplement is called Detox Plus and is available for just £19.95 for a months supply.

Its ingredients are listed in full and has been shown to work with plenty of real testimonials to view onsite.

As it is unavailable for trial the price you see is the price you pay. There are no hidden or repeat charges whatsoever.

  1. I applied for the FREE bottle of this which was offered in an advert with only the £4.95 shipping costs to pay.

I applied for this and Garcinia Slim 500 at the same time as it was a dual offer – both advertised as FREE with only £4.95 shipping to pay.

I did not sign up for a trial!

I clicked a link on Facebook which then took me to an external page, these products were offered within this environment.

Nowhere were there any Terms and Conditions stated, and no notice of any costs – Remember they were advertised as FREE for a limited time.

I checked my Bank Account a few days ago to find a cost of £80 had been taken in respect of one product and £85 for the other.

Costs I had not been made aware of! Fraudulently taken from my account.

I’ve had to cancel my Bank card, have reported them to my Bank and am trying to get these payments refunded, and have reported them to the Advertising Standards Authority.

Do not get scammed…. Don’t apply for these products.

      • I also sent away for the free trial and was stung for £165 because I didn’t red thr small print it was not free. A month later I was charged £165 for them and then received another bottle which I was charged before I received them. All in all my free trial cost me £245 pounds.

When I rang them I was told nothing is free.

Does anyone have a contact to speak to someone higher to get a refund? please

  3. I recently stupidly made an order for these products at £4.95 each, however I never read in the terms agreement about any other payment charge I will receive after so many days.
I went online to my online banking and notched they took their payments of £4.95 each but also noticed they used other names for each product which made me more worried that Iv signed up to a scam & doing my own research about these products & reading other people’s comments & reviews made me worry a lot more so I managed to find their contact number, I rang them who ever they are & they spoke in a different language so no luck their.
I got in touch with my bank & thankfully they blocked each one of them so they can’t take anymore money out of my bank, the bank advisor also said if they were to take any money out of my bank which is very unlikely as they blocked any more out going payments they would refund me so I’m very glad that’s sorted.
Have to say Iv learnt my lesson!!! Research the products before I make a dissision in giving them my bank details, so easily done.

  6. I just sent off for both products after being directed to them by Virgin Media Survey, wish I had checked here first to save myself hassle. Although when I checked my emails from them there was a terms and conditions at the bottom which clearly shows costs and trial period. If you look here there are also numbers for contacting to cancel.

  7. I’ve been scammed too. £85 taken out of my account. I did the link on Facebook and was never made aware that it was a trial period and more money would be taken.

I spoke to their customer services today 0800 824 7261 (my bank gave me this number) and they said they would cancel future subscriptions but could not refund.

I’ve emailed support@naturesanswercleanse.com and support@garciniaslim500.com asking for a refund. No response as yet.

  8. Just been scammed by thus lot. 85 for the garciinia slim 500 and 80 for natural cleanse. Disgusting no where on the site did it say I’m signing up for ongoing payments. Bank is trying to deal with but I don’t hold up much hope. The number on the bottle is 08002118457 is also unheard of. God only knows what’s on these products.

  10. Just been contacted by bank and managed to stop last 2payments also changed banking card just in case, spoke to the company, no real joy there. They think we should all read small print, that did not appear when I agreed the trial offer of postage only, so now like you all I am £165. Worse off, these tablets are obviously some of the most expensive on the market. Unfortunately I am not seeing any benefit from these products, at least if I saw an improvement I might not feel so duped by these people. I can only sympathise with all of you and hope we don’t make the same mistake again.

  12. I too have been scammed by this unethical company and have had £80 and £86 taken fro my account. I only agreed to the free bottle and paid the postage (as i thought). On return from holiday on 24h August my credit card statement had arrived and I was totally shocked to find that £166 had been taken out of my account. I have tried ringing the number with no success. I contacted my bank immediately who cancelled my account.
On arriving home from work yesterday at 6.30pm, there had been a delivery of 2 more bottles. I didn’t open then and i have parcelled them up and posted them back to Holland. COst of £3.75 and I Have proof of purchase. Is there anything else we can all do to stop this fraud?

    • I have been charged a total of £330 for these products! I ordered 4 different kinds – 2xCleanse and Detox, 1xAdvanced Slim and 1xGarcinia Slim500. I wasn’t aware that I was signing up to anything, as nowhere on their website did it say there were terms and conditions to the offer. By the time I realised what was going on and that they had stollen so much money from my account the ‘trial period’ had expired! I called my bank and they have blocked any further charges from the company, but were unable to refund the money. I have however been in touch with their ‘support team’ via email. I called their ‘customer service’ helpline on 01269240027 but the woman on the phone was very rude and seemed to be deliberately unhelpful. She gave me an email address to use to send a complaint to, but this was an incorrect address. I eventually found the correct email address to use, which is support@naturesanswercleanse.com
I emailed them asking for a full refund. They replied saying it is the customer’s responsibility to read the terms and conditions, so they wouldn’t be giving a refund. However, I am not letting this drop. I have been emailing them for the last few days with my complaint, and have explained to them that no terms or conditions were made clear to me when I ordered the products. This morning they made me an offer of a £40 partial refund as a ‘goodwill gesture’. I told them that is ridiculous. I have offered to return the products but they don’t want them back. I am now waiting for them to reply with another offer. A website which I have found useful is citizensadvice.org.uk/consumer/different-ways-of-buying/buying-by-internet-mail-order-or-phone/
I don’t hold much hope of getting all of my money back, but my bank advised me not to let it drop and to keep insisting on a refund – that way I am more likely to get at least some of it back. The company’s terms and conditions do say that full refunds are made at their discretion and are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

  13. I liked the offer so ordered not reading the ( terms)in small print. Then after a research of the product i came across the extra charge. I checked again and yes it is written in the terms
I was not happy paying the extra & spoke to my bank manager who has informed Debit Card Disputes who will reimburse me if monies in future are taken. I then rang the company on there freephone number & after a brief wait (10 mins) spoke to an agent.I actually found them helpful enough in cancelling future payments & as i was in the 16 day trial period still no other monies would be taken. I offered to return the product but was told no need & an e-mail will be sent to me confirming cancellation. So its not all doom & gloom & if the product does what they say hey ho.

It honestly makes me giggle to think that these half-wits think they will get away scot-free. Whether or not they get away with people’s hard-earned cash simply is not the point here. As things will go horribly wrong in their lives here after ,especially if they cannot see the severe error of their ways! 18. I would like to thank everyone for making me realise I had been scammed. I too applied for the free trial and was doing some research on the tablets (they made me ill) when I came across this site. Luckily so far I have only paid the £4.99 postage. I spoke to my bank today (barclays) and they were most helpful and very aware of the scam. Any further money taken from my account will be refunded and the company will get a hefty fine therefore they soon get bored of attempting to take money as they don’t want the fine!!
As a precaution I was given this number to ring to cancel and tell them my bank was aware of the situation 0800 2118457. Got through straight away and lady was very polite, have now received confirmation email of cancellation.
Do I think this is the last I will hear off this company? probably not but at least I have the backing of the bank and I would urge anyone who has had money taken from their account recently to contact their bank as they may be able to get a refund.

  22. Just checked my terms and conditions on the bottom of the e-mails I received and would just like to point out that the Garcia Slim 500 says 14 days trial period whereas Nature’s Answer Cleanse & Detox says 16 day trial period. I ordered my pills on 21st September after seeing an article on the BBC website about Kate Middleton taking these pills and then a BBC employee, Christine Makeba, said she has used them and it all sounded great in her blog about the 4 weeks she took the pills. I am very nervous about if they are going to take money out of my account so I am going to ring my bank but also ring the companies and cancel my order. By doing this I am not sure if they will still send me my pills but at least I won’t be too much out of pocket.

Has anyone else experienced this as I owuld have been in the 16 days if I could get through. I have sent an email now so I will see if I get a response. Haven’t even used the product as I decided to send them back but can’t get hold of them. Also, didn’t realise about the 14 day thing until after and then didn’t realise it’s from the day of ordering. The bank have cancelled my card but £85 already came off so we’ll see what happens next.

The lady wasnt rude to me what so ever and dealt with my cancellation very quickly so i can stop panicking now. Thanks for warning me!

    • Exactly the same thing happened to me. Apparently if you cancel and return tge products within 14 days they won’t charge you full price of £85. I was given their phone number by the bank to contact the company to ask for their address, so that I could return both products so that I could get my money refunded but their response was that they were not allowed to recieve them back for health and safety reasons, total scam !

Oh no 🙁 I ordered an hour ago before finding this page, then re read the terms and conditions, and sure enough there it is for both products..the eighty pound charge and the eighty five pound charge. I’ve contacted hsbc and cancelled and blocked my card and have taken down some of the numerous numbers above and am planning on cancelling tomorrow just to be extra safe.
This is the first time I’ve ever done something like this and I feel like a total idiot. Thankfully the lovely man from hsbc told me it happens to thousands of people and to just learn from it and move on.

Heard from my bank today that Smooth Skin which is one of many name this company use, is taking £85 from my account. Due to illness I haven’t used the products, I just opened the packet and left it. It has certainly opened my eyes. YES Oh! YES this is certainly a scam. I will phone tomorrow and cancel this so called prescription.

Of course the slimming pills work! I’ve lost pounds!!!…the £165.00 totally cleaned out my bank account so I couldn’t eat for a week. Tossing and turning at night helped me lose a few more pounds and feeling like a total idiot for being ripped off (even though I carefully read the initial ad from facebook) has totally curbed my appetite! I did see the emails appear in my account but when I went to read them, they had vanished!!! So yes, I think they’re amazing..and I haven’t even opened them.

My only comforting thoughts are…lesson learned and Karma.

  33. I got the pills in the total belief that the trial was 30 days, the way the blurb went made it sound like that was the trial length as they were giving you 60 pills as 30 days supply. The pills are useless, metabolism speeded up so awake at night so rang and cancelled well within 30 days, email duly arrived confirming so imagine my horror tdy when 80 and 85 taken! Phone up and as you have all pointed out the trial was for a rediculously low 16 days! Nowhere did it say this when ordered and they came with no paperwork to say this. Now after trawling back through their add I finally find it hidden in t and c on another page. Furious with self and with them for being deliberately misleading with their promotions.

      • I’ve just called Cleanse and Detox as i’ve just received a second bottle and have been billed for £80 also. The indian man at the end of the phone was extremely rude and put the phone down on me when I asked his name.

I called back in September to cancel this product. Although there wasn’t a contract/ such like I was wary this may be a scam as the product in my opinion was not any good. The man tonight told me I was lying and that at no point had i cancelled. He told me I would not get my money back. At this I got slightly irate with him as i’d done more than I should have had to do, legally i think they need to send an email to let you know they’re going to take money from your account, however that never happened, so i assumed all was OK.

I will be reaching out to trading standards ombusman tonight to see what can be done. I can’t bare rude customer service and when the phone is put down because you ask for a name, you know the scam is right there.

DO NOT BUY IN TO THIS PRODUCT.

The rude man basically said, it was in the terms and conditions that were emailed to me with the order confirmation and basically it was my fault for not reading them. I cancelled immediately so that no more money could be taken from my account and he said he’d send confirmation of the cancellation and promptly put the phone down on me. I did say to him that there was no way I would have signed up for this and it’s a bit late to put it in the t & c’s after the event.

Agghhhh! Is all I can say, I am so angry and upset right now that I have like everyone else been scammed. £80 came out of my account today and fear another £85 is about to come out soon. I purchased 2 free trial bottles and nowhere on the website did it say that this was a subscription. The pills don’t even work! I have cancelled my accounts now but they will not offer a refund. I’ve also contacted the bank who have blocked them. How can we all get our money back? This is awful and I cannot afford to be £165 out of pocket for something I thought was a trial product. These people should not be allowed to do this without us signing consent for a monthly subscription fee surely?

I clicked on a link advertising a free trail for £4.95 with the Advanced Trim Cleanse, also £4.95, I didn’t see any terms and conditions, neither did I received any information / contact details or invoice. I then noticed £85, taken from my account, I called my bank immediately to cancel any further payments going through. Today I notice £85 taken from my account under a differant company name. I called my bank again only to discover a request for payment had been rejected on the 29th December, I haven’t received any further products since the first trial bottles arrived. I’m now wondering if i should close my bank account as others found it to be the only way to stop the payments.

Its left me feeling very foolish and have learnt a big lesson. I will try calling the number to cancel, found above but really don’t hold much faith.
