Pro Plus Garcinia SCAM Report

Pro Plus Garcinia is a supplement made from Garcinia Cambogia that is available for trial. It claims to be able to “burn the fat and suppress your appetite”, but can it back up these claims with proof?

What we do know already is that Pro Plus Garcinia is available for trial, which in the past has been a bad sign. We have numerous reviews on this website of other trial offers that have turned out to be not only ineffective but expensive too.

In the following review we will look at this offer in more detail, to see firstly if it is as effective as it is claimed to be, and also whether it is as good an offer as it immediately appears.

Claims made by Pro Plus Garcinia

Pro Plus Garcinia has claimed to offer the following benefits to its users:

  • Fat blocker – helps prevent fat build up
  • Appetite suppression – control your cravings
  • Help reduce calorie intake by 25%

To be honest if these claims are true then I can see Pro Plus Garcinia becoming incredibly popular with the public.

The problem is that it is easy to write claims such as these, but less easy to back them up. This is why it is often better to ignore claims and to focus purely on other aspects. For example the ingredients as this will show exactly what benefits are on offer.

Ingredients used by Pro Plus Garcinia

While there is no label present we can see from the image of the bottle that Pro Plus Garcinia contains Garcinia Cambogia with 60% HCA, which is the recommended dosage.

Of course it would be better if we knew the amount of Garcinia Cambogia present in the formula and whether there are any filler ingredients, but I can certainly see some benefit to using this supplement.

How much does Pro Plus Garcinia cost?

The biggest issue we discovered with Pro Plus Garcinia is its price.

While there is only a small P&P charge to pay initially (just $7.24) this rises up to an astonishing $122.26 just 14 days later.

As with many of the other trial offers we have reviewed in the past, this trial also works as an auto-ship program, so once signed up you will continue to be sent monthly packages of the supplement along with a bill for the privilege.

Is Pro Plus Garcinia an auto-ship scam?

14 days is simply not enough time to see any sort of results with a supplement, so while there maybe some benefit to using Pro Plus Garcinia the cost at the end of trial is too much.

My suggestion to you would be to look for a more cost effective alternative.

    I am enquiring how long it takes to recieve these products? I ordered a garcinia and detox bottles on the 7th of January. Money had been taken from the nominated account and an email was sent to me stating that they will arrive within 3-5 working days? I still have not recieved anything and when I ring 1800 751 591 number that was on the email, it just continues ringing with no answer? The email address that it was sent from does not even recieve an email from me either. My order number is *removed. Please help me. Thank you

    • I ordered my free trial of both the cleanser and Pro plus 12th January. I received the cleanser on 2nd Feb and just received the pro plus today. Glad I canceled before the 14 days was up. Otherwise I would have been billed $122 for my next supply despite me having the chance to trial.

      I ordered the tablets and got them, they made me very ill unfortunately and I’ve tried to contact them as well and are never able to get a hold of them either but if you want the tablets you can have mine they keep coming and I can’t stop them.

    If it helps anyone this is the email address I had. I got badly caught out with the “trial” and put it down to experience. Never again.
    My husband rang this number in Sydney +61-291912796 to cancel the order after we realised what had happened. They immediately cancelled the order and sent us a confirmation email. The address from which it came is shown above.
    As I paid so dearly for the tablets, both Garcinia and Cleanser, but can’t really say whether they’ve
    made any difference …. hope this helps someone.

      • Julie, I just called a number in NZ. 04 8319508, spoke to someone who said they would cancel my order. Said they would send an email to confirm. Fingers crossed this works. They also tried to talk me into keep the order in and dropping the price to $19.95. Next will be cancelling the credit card if it doesn’t work.

    • Like everyone else after a couple of glasses of wine I thought I’d try the free offer and paid $7 for freight. I have received 2 bottles which have never even opened then looked at my account with 3 transactions of about $125 each . I have lost a total of $385. I immediately canx my card. my bank has told me to return the product to the address on the bottle and request my money back. I think I can kiss it goodbye. I will keep you posted. I was told not to take the product back if it returned.

      THERE WAS NO INDICATION OF FUTURE CHARGES OR 14 day Cancellation period. I photographed the receipt at the time as far as I was concerned it was a free trial with postage only.

I ordered the trial also and paid the postage only- i thought- I was not aware they were going to deduct from my credit card any other money- I did not read anywhere it had to be canceled in 14 days. I did not receive the product for 3 weeks so how could I cancel something I hadn’t yet received. My card declined when went to get petrol and on checking at the bank my account found the company had deducted $518.56 au without any authorization. My bank is looking into these 6 transactions that were made all within 15 days of each other. You can’t tell me it is not a scam. I have never received any other product than the first supposedly free trial ones.

    • Had similar problem, had Visa investigate, only to be told contact the provider and sort it out with them. Rang 0291912796 and was given an Email support @myaccountsupport.net which bounced back rang again and was told I had 14 days to return or cancel, as it took longer than 14 days to arrive then finding if you have a Thyroid problem not to take this product I cancelled and as this was after 14 days i had no come back but they settled on a 50% rebate as I had thrown out their product. Apparently you need to return the product unopened within the 14 days or pay full price of $128.16 for cleanse and $136.37 for Garcinia Cambrogia. I put this down to experience, expensive though it is, and will never buy on line again

  7. I had the same experience as Val Taylor, paid postage only and was billed USD89.90 14 days later before the tablets had even arrived. They then charged my credit card USD88.63, plus a whole lot of smaller charges, only 5 days later. Interesting that these charges were under 4 different company names. I contacted my bank and cancelled my credit card, which was a nuisance but might slow them down a bit. Time to get the Australian Federal Police involved, I think.

  8. I ordered the ‘free’ products on 9 February. They arrived two weeks later. I haven’t even opened the containers yet. $127.17 was taken out of my bank account. When I called for an explanation, I was told that a 16 day trial period had passed so I have been charged the ‘full price’. I told them to cancel my order and I asked for an address to return the product. They tried to convince me to keep them and they would give me a 50% refund. But I refused. I will send them back to Salt Lake City and await my refund. I have instructed my bank not to allow this company to take any more money from my account. Just to be sure, I have withdrawn all money from this bank account. It surely must be illegal for a 16 week trial period when it takes two weeks for them to deliver the product.

I also ordered these tablets and , didnt see the print where it said that if you dont cancel in 14 days you will be on auto shipping , so they have taken over 300 dallars from my account and i am so angry , i went onto there website and talked to someone on line whho eventually cancelled my order , and then told me another shipment was coming and she could not stop it . This is a scam and i would like to see them made accountable

Yes I have just notice on my visa statement that I.have been charged for the product I never receive.,not only did they do this once ,but twice,over two hundred dollars has been taken from my account.Wanting to know a number I can ring to stop this from happening,never again will I by over the internet.

  11. Hi! I’m from Sweden och didn’t realise it was more than one order. When money was drawn from my bankaccount and it was a lot more than the trial offer I called the number for the Swedish support. Suprisingly they talked english with an american accent, the line was poor and I had trouble to make them understand. “Close my account!” I’ve tried to get my money back, but the bank doesn’t consider it a fraud. I’ve lost 4000 skr (about 400 US dollars).

      A lady then called me back (mind you at 03:30am in SA from overseas) and told me my account has been cancelled. I then Received an email confirming my account was canceled. Here is also a number which was on the bottom of the email stating it is the SA support line. +27-875502437 hope this helps

  16. I would suggest you cal your bank and inform them that the charge coming from this Garcinia cimpany is fraud and that they must ensure that they are unable to take money again from your credit card.
    I had a similar experience with Forskolin in America. Great reveiws and such, so I ordered and its 3 months down the line and I have still not received the package and it cost a fortune. I emailed them before the 30day trial date was up and told them I was no longer interested as they had already deducted my credit card for the follow up order. They answered the email but wont cancel it, I have to call their number, sure they are stealing the money vie calling too while they are at it.
    so managed to get my money back, but I am very glad I googled this website of yours and am not going to take anything else like this. will stick to the good old exercise and diet

  18. the product details in the advertisement is misleading. you pay for shipment for free trial. but when you receive the product they will charge you. That’s why they took them long to ship the product instead of 3-5 days. Not a good company. Also, the product itself doesn’t have any stickers list for the ingredient.

I ordered same and opened ???o!!!!opened the package and because i did i was charged fully as how do you trial if you do not open the packages?????Really by sight? how? Then got charged fully. so I had $266.00 taken out my old age pension account leaving me with $6.00 for the next 10 days.Sad and Hungry Loretta

After 4 days I had an allergic reaction to the Cleanse. so cancelled both. 14 days later I get $266 nz taken out of my account.!!!!!Here is the number to ring +192535o52 and can connect with +64483195o8. They are a SCAM and to get in contact is near impossible, but have rung 8 and 9 am time NZ with results!!!!But bul sh t!!!!! Disgusting . feel SAD

  23. Well I got scammed to. Credit card was debited for a product I didn’t order. I thought I was paying for just delivery. Well I didn’t give them permission to debit my card for that amount. Will be contacting card division for a refund. When I called customer care for a refund they quickly said it’s not a problem because I said I will be putting this fraudulent activity on Facebook.

  26. I ordered and received the ‘free’ trial offer bottles of Pro Plus Garcinia and Pro Plus Cleanse (postage only) within two weeks. Four weeks later and my account has now been debited for nearly AU$500 for those two ‘free’ bottles. No other product has been received. VERY expensive lesson. How do I get my money back? I’m in Australia.

    • Ring 02 91912796 and be prepared to wait up to 10 minutes then tell the Asian lass who answers that you wish to cancel and you want the extra money credited to your account or you will be going to Consumers Affairs to lodge a complaint persuant to the Fair Trading Act.

  28. It seems that this company is still operating! I got sucked into all the bs about how great a product it is, blah, blah and decided to pay for the trial offer of delivery cost only. I still have not received the trial offer and, thankfully, got onto this website before the trial period was over and rang nearly all of the numbers listed here until I got one that answered. I have an email confirmation that my account has been closed and that I can keep the product free of charge, IF it arrives! I also told them that I was recording the conversation and that if money was taken out of my account I would use the recording in a court of law. The lady on the end of the line was very quick to hang up after that! Thank you for keeping this website up and running as I would not have known what to do other than cancel my credit card.

  29. I am furious…I cancelled an request on an ad that was on Facebook many months ago as I was infiormed by my doctor due to health reasons there is no way I
    Could use these tablets. I phoned the particular number and was informed that the cancellation was done…this was even before receiving anything. Noe I received a bottle of pills months later and an amount if more
    Than R1000 (South African) was deducted from credit card. I live in South Africa and there is no email on the package. How the hell am I supposed to cancel this now as they obviously are scammers. I would love some advice from someone please.
