Is Raspberry Ketone Fresh an auto-ship scam?

Is Raspberry Ketone Fresh an auto-ship scam?

With the current popularity of Raspberry Ketones there is little wonder there are so many companies using this ingredient in their products.

Unfortunately there are still companies looking to make a fast buck be getting people to sign up for their ‘trials’ where they will subsequently find it difficult to cancel.

Raspberry Ketone Fresh offers a trial of their product, but does this automatically make them a scam? Lets find out shall we?

What does Raspberry Ketone Fresh claim?

Raspberry Ketone Fresh is claimed to:

  • Burn fat all day
  • Work fast
  • Work specifically for women
  • Contain all natural ingredients

Raspberry Ketone Fresh ingredients

Unsurprisingly Raspberry Ketone Fresh contains Raspberry Ketones, yet we have no idea how much of this ingredient is present in the formula as there is no mention of the quantity on the website.

In fact there is very little information at all provided on the website. Apart from briefly explaining what Raspberry Ketones do and their terms and conditions.

It seems that they would like us to sign up to their trial before we get the required information.

Raspberry Ketone Fresh price

Again the price of Raspberry Ketone Fresh is not quickly accessible. However after reading the terms and conditions it is easy to see how they make their money.

Upon signing up you will be charged between $1.95 to $9.95, then if you do not cancel your order within 14 days you will then be charged between $49.95 and $169.99.

The more worrying part is that you will then be signed up to their auto-ship program where you will be automatically sent a new bottle every month, which will obviously have to be paid for.

In our opinion you should make it clear to your customer what price you will be paying before you take their details.

Is Raspberry Ketone Fresh a scam?

It is hard not to think of Raspberry Ketone Fresh as being a scam, there is no mention of the dosages of its ingredients and its prices are vague at best.

There are better products available that are much cheaper to buy.

Contact Raspberry Ketone Fresh

If you have bought Raspberry Ketone Fresh and want to contact them you should call 1-888-553-1087, this is also the number to contact for an RMA.

The UK returns address is also similar to other auto-ship scams we have discovered in the past:

  1. I just signed up about 30mins ago, thinking Im just paying for p+p £4.95 , then to look in my account and see they have took £153….. Its so upsetting, I was really happy with this deal, now Im wondering will I get my full refund back, will I get through to them in the morning , I phoned my Halifax bank as soon as I realised they took more then I authorised but they said its pending and cant stop it, feel so stupid I just think its sick how people can do this, pray to god I can get my money back without hassle.

I called the 08004046960 no. and got through to someone after a lot of attempts. They were quick to provide me with an email of how to get my money back but because product already dispatched had to wait for it to arrive and then send back with an RMA they have in email.

They are clearly used to getting calls for a refund and I left them with no doubt of my feelings for the way they do business. Awful company.

Fingers crossed I get my money back.

      • I am also feeling very stupid for falling for this scam!! first thing i did was cancel my card and get the bank to block any further transactions from them!

I then found this site and i phoned the 08004046960 number. i asked to cancel my order which they have informed me this has been done as it had not been shipped yet. i was informed that i should get a refund within 7 days and if not to get back in touch.

i asked for an email to confirm that my order had been cancelled. So far true to his word i have an email informing me my transaction has been cancelled!

Hopefully i will receive my refund…. at least i have it in writing that it has been cancelled.

Make sure you ask for an email so you have proof of cancellation! now just have to hope i get my money back!

I was caught out on Raspberry ketones fresh.com . How did you go about reporting them its something i would like to do. I guess if i had a crime number i could give it to my credit card company. I look forward to any advice you could give me. Thanks Helen.

        • Hi
I see you did the same as I have, I was so upset and angry when I realised what had happened, I called the company as soon as they opened at 1pm uk time to cancel only to be told no. I called my bank who told me once the pills came to return them via recorded delivery then if I didn’t receive a refund they could process a dispute for me. After I returned the goods I called the company in the states and this time got through, the lady on the phone was vey rude and said they couldn’t process a refund as I hadn’t got a returns number from them even though they confirmed they had received the goods back. I was told the only way I could get any money back would to fill the refund form in, however after downloading this you have to have the number from the seal of the bottle, I don’t have this as the goods were returned. I am so angry that people can actually do this and get away with taking your money in this way. I am really struggling right now to pay bills etc same as most people who earn their money in the honest way. Just beware if u are returning get try and get a reruns number first, this may increase the chance of getting your money back.
Also I was wondering if u still have your pills would you be kind enough to give me the number from the seal of your bottle, I’m just thinking of anyway I could get my money back.
Thankyou and good luck I really hope you get a refund I understand how hard times are right now !

What I would like to know – Is the RKF even safe to use? Has anyone tried taking it and does it work?

Now that I have this product which I am unsure is safe my first thought and question is where can I send some RKF for testing to prevent reaction?

If anyone has any advice please reply. Thank you in anticipation.

      • I have reported it to my bank and they say they will do a visa dispute and they will try and get my money back but another £153 will be taken out on the 16th if it doesn’t get resolved by then. I have finally, after 3 days of calling and endless time being on hold for an operator, got through today to Healthizon and they have sent me a rebate form via email but cant access link it until 30 days have passed since purchase, which will be the 16th, coincidently. I have also reported them to trading standards but as they are American based they are not governed under UK law.
Think you have been very lucky to have received your refund. I just hope I am as lucky as start paying a mortgage as of next month and the money they took out put me in my overdraft which I haven’t used for 18 months!

Since you seem the only one getting the money back can you please tell me how you did this please. Because the bank told me that they can only stop any future payments and I don’t know where to call.

        • They don’t send an email out, it’s a total scam, they take money out of your account with no invoice or email confirmation of the contract (which of course most people have no idea about being charged until the money comes out). Apparently the way they are doing this is if you don’t return the product within 14 days of purchase you are charged, £94 I think, then the same again every month. But of course it says this in the tiny small print, and when the stuff arrives there is no return address or anything. I’ve just been charged for the second time before I noticed 🙁 I rang my bank and they were very helpful, they blocked all future payments to them and if they do manage to take more money (they might, my bank statement said a different company name the second time), the bank will get it back and reimburse me. I’m going to try and ring the evil company tomorrow and try and get some money back, some people seem to be able to claim back half of it. Good luck everyone…

      • I also have the exact same problem! I called the company they said they don’t have my data and when I insisted to cancel the payment they told me since the card was declined then nothing will be charged, which is a TOTAL LIE. Then two weeks later I called my bank to find that they tried to take multiple £153 on the day of transaction (I tried 2-3 times since I was curious, stupid). The bank can’t do anything with the pending payment, and I’m afraid I won’t get refund if the bank decided it was not fraud 🙁 I’m so scared. I also haven’t received any email confirmation

And what do they mean by “free by rebate”

    • Hi I ordered the free by rebate raspberry ketone fresh from healthrizon.com for the price of £7.95 for post and packaging, I gave my bank details to authorize that amount and thought it must be ok as I found the advert on Facebook and when I clicked on saw glamour magazine and some famous celebrities.

I then looked for the confirmation email from them regarding my order but could not find one, I did have a email from a shipping insurance company though insuring my parcel.

I then called my bank as I felt there was something wrong, to find there was two pending payments £153.95 from healthrizon and £1.99 from this shipping company, I was told I could not stop these payments as they was pending, once it was shown on my account I could do a visa dispute.

I then checked my email again and found the email from healthrizon in my junk. This email gave me a order number and confirmed a 90 day supply was being sent and a link for a rebate form. I then found number to contact company which took forever to actually speak to someone to be told that it wasn’t a free trial it’s a free by rebate offer, which cannot be cancelled as order has been submitted and I need to send the form in 30 days to get a refund for £149. Less packaging, and I could keep the product. I said I didn’t want it and would send it back as soon as I received it, she said if I do that I would only receive £135.

Is this even legal to free by rebate and do I have to wait 30 days for full refund? Do I send back the product or keep it, I’m def gonna do a bias dispute with my bank incase I don’t receive a refund plus I want the security of stoping this company taking anymore payments from my bank. I can’t do anything till the money is shown to be taken from my account and I can’t do anything about a refund from this company

I called back in December of last year and the girl I spoke to would be refunding me my money and to this day here is no refund and I called again today and there is no documentation of the phone call or even the lady telling me I would be getting my full refund back. But the Guy who i spoke to today Rick Wilson employee #1616 gave me 2 options he can refund fund only part of the order or send this to the finance department. .I told him this is unacceptable that the refund was not in my account the firs wk of January.there is no documentation on the fault of the girl I spoke to in December 2013 …Now and when I
asked him to speak to his supervisor he said that he was the only one and that I have to deal with him. Which I asked to speak again to someone above him and said that there is no one else for me to speak to…Being a manager and a boss of my own company this is not customer service. Why should I be at fault for something your employees have done.i had cancelled the order and still was sent more bottles and still charged again… And this is how people are treated…………

It was after when it mentioned getting money back but called it a rebait or something similar etc after 30 days and a longer process after that. I felt totally cheated. My bank could not stop if and the advertising was completely misleading . It’s put me in financial difficulty. I could not afford that kind of payment now and am dubious I’ll ever get it back but will try. I couldn’t email them or speak to customer services as it was closed and worried about wracking up a big phone bill calling what looks like an expensive or american number. I did try to stop the payment but my bank could not. On the positive the pills did arrive on day 3 and the ingredient and component list and quantity looks promising. I will give it a proper go and try to contact their office to get my money back sooner. I think the way of selling was totally dishonest and misrepresentative which I do not agree with. I do however hope the product works. I wish I had found the previous write up before as I would have never places the order had I known…does anyone have an email for them?

    • I’ve just done the exact same thing!!! How silly of me! I am usually really careful about things like this but when I saw it recommended by someone I clearly fell for the trap! I have called them twice and they answered both times saying they could do cancel the payment now because it was pending and I would have to wait until 02/05/14 to receive my rebate form… This is clearly a load of rubbish. They have also said to me I am not on a subscription and that it is a one off payment (something very different to what I seem to be reading from others experiences)!!!

I’m so angry with it all as it was clearly advertised at £4.95 and yet £153 is taken – it’s a joke! I have rang my bank and they have said they can’t do anything with it until the money has been taken from the account but once it has they can look into it all. They have also told me to cancel all my cards as this will stop the company or any company linked to them taking more money from my account. They are now in the process of sorting this out. I just hope I get the £153 back some way as I don’t think sending them back as a refund is really worth it because you still end up paying a fair bit and going by some peoples responses they are awaiting refund months down the line.

Let a lesson be learnt to us all!

      • Same thing here in Canada. Their pills have put me into the hospital for severe anxiety attacks. I called to ask to get a refund on 3 sealed bottles and after 3 extremely rude customer service reps and an even more rude manager, I had to threaten to have my brother, a lawyer, contact them and got to the news. I’ve just gotten off the phone with them. I have a call into our national news station, as well as my brother drawing up documents to file against them.

Please assist in spreading the word at what a scam this is! Please use social media outlets and if your circumstance is as bad as mine, go to the news stations. This company preys on the diet industry. Let’s not let them get away with it!

  2. I agreed to the 90 day free trial on 2 Nov, only to discover £160 taken from my bank account on 5 Nov. I have tried e-mailing. Contacting by phone and letter. All with no response. This is clearly a scam!

  3. I also proceeded to the free trial section a few days ago after reading about the product and thought something was not right, so, I decided to pause for a second, First I wondered why I had to struggle so much to see the product’s price almost at the last stage. 2nd, the highlighted payable amount was £4 plus, less than £5, meanwhile the product would normally cost £149 or so.

I didn’t proceed then with giving my details, left the page and later on, just did a random search on Google to find out if anyone has had any bad experiences about their trial rebate offer(s). Low and behold, I was right not to have proceeded, too good to be true!!

There are enough testimonials to show that the product works and honestly, would like to purchase the product, but I would like an honest and open webpage/site whereby, all info about the product, (inc, its STRENGTH…which is still hidden to customers), payment and free trial options are all made open for customers to make informed decisions. The worst thing to do is to play on customers intelligence.

Hope you all get your money back if affected. Good luck!

They went ahead and sent me three bottles of rasberry keytone days later. I sent another mail and they gave me a fake number to call. They are a scam !

When you leave a comment on their website it gets deleted. They leave only good comments and I believe the comments are written by them.

How do I cancel please? Mine is not up to 14 days yet.

    • Same happened to me. I was under the impression that I could cancel the recurring order pending the free trial after 14 days. I called and went through their automated cancellation system only to hear at the end that I was charged $38.71. The automated system hung up on me. I called back to speak to a rep and they told me that through the automated system I agreed to the cancellation charge – Totally False. It didn’t give me an option to decline nor to talk to a rep.

      1. CALL BEFORE 10 DAYS
      2. PRESS “0” TO SPEAK TO A REP! DO NOT GO THROUGH THE STEPS ON THE AUTOMATED SYSTEM.

If anyone knows how I can get my $39 back, I would VERY MUCH APPRECIATE the direction!

I got my money back from the fraud people through my bank but I still wanted to send these back as the bank look into it and could end up requesting the money back if they feel its not fraud, but I don’t know how I’m meant to send them back!!

I have the address but they say you have to have a certain number with the order for them to even process a refund.

    Totally gutted 🙁

  7. Hi I also filled in my details and had £153 taken out of my account, I waited for the form they said they would send or even an email but never got either so I kept phoning for days and they eventually disconnected the number.

I got all 3 bottles in the post a couple of days after and didn’t take any just incase I couldn’t get my money back, I went down to my bank and after speaking to the fraud team and another team that deals with stuff like this they told me that they have been having alot of people phoning about this scam, anyway I got my money back within 3 hours after leaving my bank thank goodness.

The only thing I glad to do was give the bank the details of the website and proof of payment so make sure you keep some kind of proof….

Its now been a few weeks since I got the money back and was just wondering if anyone has taken them and found them to be useful or harmful in anyway?

      • Hi, just fallen for this myself tonight, but having read these reviews have tried to cancel. I rang this number 02033566290 and amazingly got straight through at 1am. I cancelled two products, raspberry ketone AND cleanse extreme quoting my invoice/order numbers etc they said I would have to still pay the shipping of 2x£4.95 but have sent me an e-mail confirming my cancellation of both trial products.

Will contact bank tomorrow too as an extra precaution. ACT quick before 14 days after the ORDER date not DELIVERY DATE! I took names of both guys as I rang twice to double check it had been cancelled. Fingers crossed it actually has!

  8. Hi there,

Just wondering how you got the money back from the bank Jessica and what type of information you had to give? I only noticed today that the transaction came up with “recurring card” after it so I’m going to call my bank first thing tomorrow morning. Also what bank you are with? I stupidly opened them and took a couple so I can’t even send them back now. I stopped taking them after a day as I read up on them and was worried about the side effects but don’t feel anything different.

Any help on what you guys have done to get your money back would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks.

  9. I bought from them back in November and as soon as purchase went through I realised it was a scam.

I tried to call them but the number says they are to busy to receive calls and to email them I have sent 5 emails all with no reply. I even sent the items back next day delivery and have confirmation of time date and who signed for them but still no one will return my emails to return my money!

The best I could do was put a block on my bank account so they cant take anymore money from me, I really hope people read this and don’t buy from them!

Completed all my details and I am like a dog with a bone – cos I hate being done I will fight and write so many letters etc to get my money back and hopefully save someone else doing the same 😉

So misleading they just can’t get away with it!!!!

    • Hi Sam

I think it would be a waste of time trying to contact them as they never seem to respond – I have reported to Action Fraud and going to try and get money back through them – I now have a Crime Reference Number and hopefully even if I don’t get my money back it will stop them from doing it to anyone else – I still cant believe I was sucked in and as I would NEVER have paid so much for these.

There is a number 1-888-800-1183 if you want to try and the company is Raspberry Ketone Fresh – good luck and let me know how you get on – I will – really don’t want to swear but feel like it!!!!!!

I even tell my mum to never give bank details to a company you don’t recognise. I can’t see any email address where did everyone find one?

Royal Mail advsied that this is not an operational PO Box or postcode, it was in use by Lifesciences up to a year ago?

Inside the package was a invoice with just the pills and qty (no prices) but also the phone no Tricia gave earlier in this post. The lady on the phone tried saying that they hadn’t been mis-leading and gave me my RMA. But also said there will be a restocking fee and handling fee deducted from my refund. That’s obviously why you can’t cancel the order straight away as they make more off you when you return them. Still can’t believe I was so stupid in the first place

  26. Right I ordered these pills on Monday night, realised it was a scam when it popped up as “you have been charged £149.99” freaked out, called the bank straightaway nothing they can do until it shows on your statement.

I then called them today and raised a dispute saying as I never got an order number confirmation email and don’t hold out much hope of getting the product!!!!!!

The lady at the bank said they have this loads, it has cost me £155 just over. The price of the product, recurring transaction fee which I cancelled obviously however the lady at the bank said keep an eye on statement because sometimes they change the name of who the payment is going to and still claim it, fee for a non UK transaction.

I contacted my bank who said that within 7-10 days I will receive a refund and within 4 hours bank has refunded me.

I’ve now received the returns email but you can’t request the RMA until 30 days after the purchase date. But then on the return email it states that you have 90 days from date of purchase to return but it takes 45days to process!!!

So that only really leaves you with a window of 2 weeks to ship it back to them & then you’re at the mercy of the shipping companies!!

Be careful everyone they’ve got it all tied up so you could quite easily slip up re the dates!!

Has anyone actually had their money back?

Don’t accept that – under distance selling you are entitled to change your mind for a refund within 7 days of receiving your goods. Don’t accept you have to wait 30 days – that is the rebate timescale she has quoted you.

If you don’t have a RMA no – call them back and demand one – this rip off makes me sooooo mad!!!

I have went through the process and of sending back, today, as soon as received, yesterday, and now waiting for a refund – my bank has said if i don’t get from the company, I will get from them but as a matter of principle I will keep going with the company as it should be up to them – will go to the bank as a last resort.

  36. Hi, the same has happened to me last night and feel so angry and stupid that i fell for this as i am usually so careful.

Basically i have been on to the phone to my bank – retailer disputes (natwest). They say its not fraud as you have ‘read their terms and conditions’ and have agreed to this. Even though the money has not come out of my bank yet (its pending) it will come out and because i paid visa debit, it has a guarantee payment where whatever it is will get paid. My bank say that there is nothing they can do about it because ive agreed to terms and conditions and have given my card details. However, i have stopped any future payments coming out from the company and natwest said that sometimes things slip and money may come out but if this happens, they will refund me fully and any costs occurred. They send this to you in writing.

I have to wait until 1pm (opening hours 1 -10pm) to call raspberry ketone fresh to cancel.

I have read so many threads on this. I dont understand why some banks refund and some dont. Has anyone paid visa debit and got a refund from their bank and if so, what is their bank called? Also, nobody has actually said that they have got a refund back from the actual company. If anyone gets a refund from the scamming company, please let us know.

    • Hi, my 18 year old daughter has today fallen for this scam and I am so angry!
She was on a page which showed rebates and discounts leading her to believe she would be £4.95. Infact the page said Coupon activated, rebate reserved for 2mins and 32 sec
The minute she entered her card details the rebates disappeared and she was charged £149 – this cannot be legal!

We phoned Natwest straight away and they cannot do anything as transaction pending and even then they do not believe it will be a disputable item so the payment is likely to stand. Interestings me banks appear to be refunding. I made a seperate call to Natwest Fraud Team and they were well aware of this organisation but said not actually fraud as there is something in the t’s & c’s – well I can’t find it.

Have spent this afternoon looking at others acses and they are also cagey and difficult with returns – there are suggestions of bogus return addresses to delay returns until you are outside the 30 day period.

I have printed out the t’s & c and also been back on the site and taken a photo of the screen with rebate that magically disappears.

I will be trying every possible way to get my daughter a refund, she works hard as a trainee nurse, doing unthinkable and unpleasant tasks and parasites like this think they can take hers and others hard earned pay!

We will try the company, the banks, trading standards and you may eventually see us on Breakfast TV- I’m determined if we cannot get refunds we will stir up the biggest adverse publicity storm and hopefully prevent any new victims of their scam.

      Good luck everyone x

I said that under the distance selling regulations, it gives me the right to return them within 7 days of receipt for a full refund. 8. 14 Day and 10 day Trial Terms:
Prices for shipping and merchandise vary by product. Please see specific details in the terms located on the individual product pages. By ordering a trial you will be sent a 30 day supply of the product and charged only for shipping ($1.95 – $9.95 depending on product). If you feel the product is not for you, cancel within 14 days from the order date if you purchased a 14 day trial, or within 10 days if you purchased a 10 day trial, to avoid the full purchase price ($49.95 – $169.99 depending on product) and enrollment in the auto-shipment program which sends you a month supply every 30 days and charges the same purchase price (shipping is free for all auto-ship orders). To cancel anytime simply call 1-866-973-6592 to receive an RMA and return any unused portion to us within 30 days. Any charges will appear as Raspberry Ketone Fresh on your credit card statement.

    9. Purchase Terms (i.e. Non-trial terms):
Prices for shipping and merchandise vary by product. Please see specific details in the terms located on the individual product pages. Your order will be processed and shipped within 2 business days via first class mail (shipping and handling is free). If the terms on the specific product page do not specify an auto-subscription membership then you will be charged only one time for the product you selected. Otherwise, by ordering today you’ll receive a new 1 month supply of the product purchased each month after your initial supply from today’s order is exhausted. For example, if you order a 3 month supply today you will receive 3 bottles within a few days, and then automatically receive 1 bottle on month 4, and 1 bottle every 30 days thereafter. Future shipments will conveniently be charged at the same discount rate you received today (which is $48 for 1 bottle) to the card you provide today unless you call to cancel. To cancel anytime simply call 1-866-973-6592. Any charges will appear as Raspberry Ketone Fresh on your credit card statement

    • Thank you so much for the terms and conditions. They were consistent in saying they don’t have a Canada address. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and she was busy, and I wasn’t allowed to hold because they were busy. After being on hold for 5 minutes, I was told the website was just updated, and I can ship my return to Canada…Ya buddy, they are such scam artists

    • Hi Rachel

please can you let me know what address you sent your return to.

I have searched the provided address by postcode with Royall mail and it came back address not known – as I don’t trust them one bit I’m just wary of my parcel getting caught up in no mans land and being eventually told I’m outside the returns deadline.
I will be using a tracked post service and after much debate on the phone have an RMS number

  54. Well I too have fallen for this scam but luckily I was not charged anything but the trial amount.

I have activated a new card I was sent in the mail because my previous card was not working properly anymore. Thank GOD for that! Such a relieve.

I’m so sorry ladies for what has happened! I have one question that if anyone can help me with I would really appreciate it.

I did recieve my bottle now should I take them and see if they work or should I toss it? The bottle itself has no info just says how many pills to take and the name of the product. Thanks in advance!

  55. I have just done the same thing 🙁 i rang the 0800 number straight away and politely told the lady i wanted to cancel, she told me she cant see if the payment has gone through or not as she doesn’t have access to the banking system but agreed to cancel.

She did say i could claim the refund after the 30 days but i insisted as i said i could not afford it and it would take me over my overdraft limit. I also insisted she send me a confirmation email she queried why and I said I didn’t want to have problems where they send it out to me and I have no proof I cancelled it.

She has just emailed me 25 mins later to confirm but it simply says the order has been cancelled and it’s from 183.customerservice@gmail.com which seems dodgy to me!! No company name or agent name or anything!

I have transfered all my money to my partner’s account (thank god for iphones!) and cancelled my card.

I’m praying to god that they don’t somehow get the money from my account 🙁

The pills arrived today and i am going to send them back Monday morning via special delivery! Natwest was very helpful informing me that the visa dispute wasn’t open till Monday morning 9am!! I still have to phone back as i want my money!! £4.95 i agreed to not £154.97 + £2,20!!

Luckily i have moved all my funds to a different account so they cant scam that account for any more! I will be gutted though if i only get the £2.20 back :/

Still no emails from raspberry ketone fresh to confirm i even bought the stupid pills! GRRRR< I am so mad at myself as i never get scammed, i always check everything!

Did any of you see any small print or anything else that said it was not actually £4.95???

    • I too have been scammed by this company. They have stolen £184 from me after this alleged free trial. After a 34 minute telephone call to a man who repeatedly made me spell my name and still couldn’t get any of my details correct I ended up with a promise of a refund of just £80.

He told me over and over again that I was not able to have my money back as I had left it for more than 30 days. This is an outright lie! They took money from me 14 days after I had ordered this free trial.

I asked who to complain to and how to go about it and he simply couldn’t help me. I have since contacted my solicitor who has informed me that I am legally entitled to a full refund.

I am contacting Natwest at 9am Monday morning to see if they can do anything to help get my money back and I am waiting for a reply from this terrible company.

I hope we all manage to get our hard earned money back! I do feel extremely foolish and can’t believe I have fallen for something like this.

I rang my bank HSBC in a panic who told me that the transaction had been blocked by the fraud squad and the money wouldn’t be leaving my account. They told me to keep an eye on my account and if there are any transactions I didn’t authorise to ring them straight away. Thank got HSBC are on the ball!

Yet after 2 weeks This amount was withdrawn by them. I rang their tel; no; and the guy just kept telling me they were covered by their terms & conditions.

I’m off to the bank tomorrow to see what can be done and will ask the Police how I contact the Fraud dept.

  68. Hello!

I unfortunately also signed up a week ago and only notice an hour later that this was maybe not just a harmless trial which needs stopping within 14 days. Some people appear to be charged even before the 14 days are over. Additionally there is NO evidence these food supplements work in any way.

I’ve called them on their number (Indian call centre I think) 08448588072 last week & tried to stop it immediately, but the guy said, it was to late to stop the shipping & I would get charged either case. He suggested to just try it out and if not, no problem. No word about me having to send something back.

Then I asked him if it was safe in pregnancy & he said he didn’t know, but I should check the pack. I also taped the phone call as I knew from forums that they were dodgy. So I received the shipment during the week and it states in fat print on the bottle: don’t use in pregnancy & for breastfeeding. So I called them again today and the guy was hard work to say the least. He wanted me to return the product (with RMA number supplied) and pay for shipment again!

I pointed out that I asked a week ago for safety in pregnancy and was ill advised by their customer service and that I had also taped the phone call. He told me I wasn’t allowed to tape the call and it wasn’t the right way of doing it, when I told him I was also taping the current call. I pointed out that I tape for legal reasons and that there is no law prohibiting me to do so – after all they also tape calls for “quality control purposes”. I then challenged him and said he can listen back to my last call (I recalled the approx time) and can hear I that I said very clearly, I didn’t want the product – especially if it wasn’t safe in pregnancy.

Anyway, I had to be very firm and asked very clearly what his solution was when he tried to stop the call. He eventually spoke to his supervisor and I’m off the hook it appears. I don’t need to send it back and allegedly my account will be closed without any further charges.

I also phoned my bank just now (Lloyds have been excellent) and spoke to an advisor about fraud. They will stop any more deductions from my credit card account. So best of luck everyone!

  70. I too have fallen for this today and like everyone else can’t quite believe it. It came up when trying to order that the transaction had been declined.

Then the Fraud dept from my bank (Santander) called and asked If I’d authorised a payment to the company of £153. I said I’d only authorised the £4.95 but according to them that’s not their problem as long as we authorised something we then have to take it up with the company – not happy.

I then phoned up Santander different department and said my card was lost and to cancel it. I’m hoping this will take priority over the fraud squad authorising and stop them from taking the money.

Have just checked (spam too) and have no confirmation email

  73. Dear All

I cannot believe how many of us have become victims of these various scams. These people must be raking the money in.

My bank has cancelled the payments to this company but to be on the safe side I have cancelled my card and asked for a replacement. A few days inconvenience of no card but reassurance that these people will no longer be able to access my account.

I suggest anyone else who finds themselves on the receiving end contacts their bank to cancel any further payments but also request a new card.

  75. Update folks – Raspberry Keytone Fresh has now ceased trading and disappeared.

We returned product yesterday to address given and following tracking to confirm receipt, when I tried to contact them email no longer in existence, phone number just kept me waiting for 25 minutes and website disappeared. Contacted the bank and they looked something up and said ‘yes, ceased trading’. Bank state they cannot do aything in terms of a refund even though I returned the goods and can prove that this entitled me to a refund and that the goods were recieved back. Cannot understand that crdit card is digital signature when purchasing but ineffective when you meet the returns condition.

Have read that this company set up to do this under different names and for as long as they can each time, then leave people awaiting refunds/rebates etc and disappear.

Please tell everybody not to fall for this or anything similar – this needs as much adverse publicity as possible. It’s almost a legitimate scam. except Clause 6 in t’s and c’s is likely to be an unfair term and condition and thrown out by a judge – you just need to establish who to take to court…and it will cost you £25 for doing so.

I wouldn’t be suprised if they posted some of the comments on here advising that refunds were eventually obtained as they keep people hooked in with false hope for as long as they can get away with it………

Thankfully the bank put a temporary block on my card so no money could actually be taken out, when I spoke to the fraud department of my bank they have blocked any future payments to his company but I have to phone or email them as well to cover myself but I have no email or phone number and according to the last post they have ceased trading so I’m hoping that’s the end of it?

I told her this was a scam she then told me I could not cancel as it has been dispatched, here we are the 18th February and the money has been taken but the product has not been received.

I have called my bank and put a dispute on the payment and the bank has told me that the funds will be in my account while the investigation is happening as they have to provide the bank with proof that I have received the product.

They also take a non sterling fee which is even more money and when you are doing 3 jobs because you are short of money for them to do this is out of order, I urge everyone to not order this product even if there is a skinny woman on the front saying this is what you can look like, remember it’s not the outside it’s whats inside that counts.

  85. Hi, I am fuming. I again signed up for £4.95, then it came through saying insufficient funds? I check my account straight away, and there was plenty of funds. The next minute, the fraud dept of my bank rings, and informs me that they were trying to take over £148. Did I want to accept this, I obviously said No! So they blocked the payment. But told me to contact them and cancel as they will try and take money again!

I couldn’t find any info except that stated above, so I found this site immediately and called 08004046960. The lady at first could not find my order, but eventually did, and said it had not gone through, so not to worry.

Ham the cheek of it, she asked where I got her number bla, bla, bla. (Thank you bank!) I said cancel everything, but first thing in the morning I will be cancelling my card so nothing can happen again. What a con ! And it is fraud even though the bank said it wasn’t.

The only other option I can think of is to report my card missing and hope that I get my money back.

  91. I too was scammed £184 was taken from my bank account plus I paid £4.95 x2 for 1 package!

My bank has blocked these people so they cannot take any more cash & cancelled my card. I rang the company to speak to someone about this & was told that the 14day trial period starts on the day you order the stuff, regardless of the fact that you don’t get it till a week later!

I have been in touch with Action Fraud who said although it is not illegal what these people are doing its ‘unethical’! I have plastered it all over FB for my many friends to circulate too. There were 3 well known actresses being used for their advertising, who I have also sent emails too. One of which, I have heard, is in a newspaper saying that she will be taking legal action! The advertisement disappeared from FB yesterday, but its back again today!! I wish you all well & hope that you do eventually get your money back, I know that I will not. Good luck everyone

  92. Don’t sign up for it. They will charge you more. They charged £153 although on the website states free trial, in the terms they say they will charge every month and send more bottles. And today I found out I got more money taken off by them.

In the bill when you receive the pills there is no pricing.

I called my bank to stop any further money being take off. Hopefully they will be able to get my money as they filled a formal dispute.

My bank manager said I was signed up for a free trial and then they took money out, I had to send the product s back with proof of postage and the bank refunded my money 3 wks later. So do go to your bank guys, the telephone numbers I tried for rasp ket fresh were out of service!

  94. Well, where to begin! I guess with the fact that I feel so upset with myself for being sucked into such a ridiculous scam! And it is so unlike me to do such a stupid thing.

I too saw the link on FB back in early November 2013, showing the 90 day trial for £4.95 (including the following small print: This special offer sends you a full 30 day supply of Raspberry Ketone Fresh. You just have to pay for the 4.95 shipping charge and your trial bottle(s) will be delivered in just a few business days. You must cancel within 14 days or you will be charged the full price of 87.47 per bottle. This offer automatically enrolls you in a subscription program to receive a 30-day supply of Raspberry Ketone Fresh each month. You can cancel your membership at anytime by calling Customer Support.) so I went ahead with this agreement. Days later I had noticed £160.62 had been debited from my account. Up until this point I had received no communication from the company (even in my spam) and thought straight away it was a scam. I also had not received any product. As I had no contact number or proof of transaction and could not remember the website I called my bank (Barclays). I had advised that I did not authourise this amount and was told that they had many calls regarding this same issue. They had agreed to process a charge back with the company and I had my money back in my account by the end on November. I thought that would be all…..

But not to be, In late January, I received a letter from my bank stating that I needed to confirm in writing the reason for disputing this charge and that if it was not valid they would be taking the full amount of money from my account within 14 days. Naturally I jumped on this and gave them the information that most of us have given as a reason. Then without letting me know first that they had decided that this issue is a Customer/Merchant dispute and as I had supplied my card details to the merchant and that there is no written documentation to prove what has been agreed they are unable to assist and they took the money back!

I have been told to contact Citizens Advise Bureau to assist but also told to contact the Company. Which I will attempt today….. I find this whole thing so disheartening and to make matters worse, when I made this silly mistake, I was 4 months pregnant (Due in May 2014) and as they do not have any information online, did not know that it was not possible to use during this time and also when breastfeeding.

Currently I have payed £160.62 for something I have never received and am not able to use at least for the next 12 months give or take the time for breastfeeding.

I strongly believe this is not worth proceeding with and to all of you who have ordered and are awaiting cancellation, refund or who have gone through their banks I wish you luck.

    Will keep you updated.

  95. Keep at them – I ordered mine on 11th January and after demanding my money back by quoting distance selling and their own 30 guarantee I have got my money back today!!

They took out £151 I got back £138

Make sure you get an RMA number from them and don’t accept the redemption demand a refund you have the right to it!!

You should get an email with an RMA no – I was on the computer while I phoned them and didn’t hang up until the refund email came through. When the goods arrive send back Special Delivery and keep your proof of postage – they will ask for the tracking no.

Then hopefully you will get it back within 3 to 5 weeks

My only other advise will be to keep at them – it is a waiting game but don’t give up – good luck

PS the no 08004046960 does work

    • I placed an order some 30mins ago and having checked my bank account realised that i have paid more than £4.95 for this order

I just rang the 0800 number and managed to get through to speak to an adviser. I was told that it is too late to cancel and now have two options: 1. to fill in the rebate form after 30 days which will ensure i get a refund of £149 or 2. send the items back (once i get them) and get a refund of £139 as need to pay some £10 for re-stocking.

I just wonder whether anyone has gone down the route of filling in the rebate form? it would be good to know whether they do give that refund?

      Thanks

  97. I too got scammed with this 3 bottles for £4.95 only to realise after I have given details that it was a scam. The pills were delivered even after I emailed to cancel order so I checked my bank account and they have taken two payments one for £154.00 and £1.99. I called my bank today and said that fraudulent payments had been taken off my account and they said they would cancel my card and issue full refunds and if anything comes off in the meantime I must call them.

Just very upset that I fell for this. Apparently if you are not US resident you cant claim back in 30 days anyway so I am not sure how people are meant to get there money back!!!!

    what a scam!!!

  98. Just ordered these about half an hour ago and like everyone else, thought I’d only be charged the £4.99 for it. Logged onto my bank to find at least £150 taken out (can’t see exactly how much as not showing up yet) – am devastated that I fell for it and feel so stupid and ashamed.

My partner called the bank (HSBC) and the guy on the other end of the phone was lovely and very sympathetic, they can’t do anything until the money has actually left my account but I apparently need to call them back once this happens and they should be able to refund the money.

They’ll investigate it and if it turns out not to be a scam, they have every right to take that money back which is fair enough.

I’m so gutted 🙁 and so angry that people get away with doing things like this and often ruining people’s lives and destroying their confidence! It’s disgusting.

  99. This happened to be at 7pm this evening.

I have only just stopped crying about it in the last half an hour or so.

HSBC have said a similar thing to me too but I’m just hoping it is classified as fraudulent as neither payment is of 4.95 which is what the website stated.

I am also going to return the product as soon as i receive it just to cover my own back.

good luck everybody, I feel for every single person that has been through this disgusting scam. please can people post on here if they have been refunded and what the next steps to take are please.
    many thanks,

  102. Ive just rang my bank and they took £153 today so I’ve just had to block my card and not allowing the payment by cancelling my card, the bank have said they are claiming back the money. Just give them the details of this website and the company address and they will help you. What a terrible company I have learnt my lesson and will think twice about buying from the internet again.

  103. Even if your card was declined, and the company claimed that they don’t have your data so you can’t cancel any subscription, you MUST call your bank to check if that company tried to take your money. I just called them and was shocked to find that the company (Nutra HEALTHZON or something like that) tried to take my money but failed because I didn’t have that amount…and they will still try to take money every 15 days up to 3 times (on their terms and conditions) if the transaction was declined. So the best think you could do is to dispute the transaction and block the company make sure they won’t take any money from you…and also cancel your card. But for to really make sure, cancel your account

  104. I stupidly did an order on Saturday night, phoned Barclaycard straight away who asked me to call back today as the dispute team were closed for the weekend. They have been very nice and have put a stop on any further payments being taken as a precaution and as a goodwill gesture they should re-credit my account once the payment has cleared tomorrow.

I rang the company on the 08004046960 number and although it rang for a while it eventually connected me to be on hold and within a few minutes i got threw to an operative. So keep with it! (This was at 1.15pm, not long after their phone lines opened) She was extremely unhelpful and said that orders can’t be cancelled, it states it in their terms of conditions blah blah blah. I gave her an earful about how misleading it is and how they should make it very clear whats happening. Told her I’d disputed it with my bank and know that my payment isn’t even due to clear till tomorrow so i didn’t see how they couldn’t cancel it as they obviously wont have sent it out yet. She made every excuse under the sun and just continued to talk over me all the time. So i gave up asking but did get my RMA number ready for when the item arrives in the post. I don’t want them, don’t trust the company at all so don’t trust what the product is neither!

I’m hoping i’m going to get my money back some way or another.

I’m very fed up with how dishonest some people / companies are, it really does leave you feeling very bitter and untrusting, which no-one should be made to feel when they just want to buy something!

I hope everyone else is having success getting their money back 🙂

I asked to speak to a manager and was told there was no managers in…excuse after excuse. Really don’t think I’ll get my money back the only thing that I could do was call my bank to ensure no further transactions could be made.

If anybody has an email or alternative contact number it would be much appreciated.

I got my money back – I had to get an RMA number from the company, stick to the distance selling and don’t agree to rebate. Reported to action fraud. When returning your goods keep a hold of you proof of postage – you will be asked for your tracking number – I sent mine Special Delivery!! Finally after 5 weeks I got £138 back, only after phoning again!! – not it all but better than nothing 😉 Don’t give up – my bank was useless – keep at the company – good luck

  109. Update: after the declined transaction two weeks ago, I just called the company again and they said my payment has been declined 3 times and they won’t take my money anymore (fortunately not enough fund all the time). I don’t know whether they will erase my data as the agent told me “not legit” or something (maybe I misheard) but I confirmed (by talk because the company surprisingly don’t have email anymore) that there will be no subscription, no membership. Then I called my bank to confirm whether there are still pending transaction from that company, and they said no! (but yesterday they said there were pendings from Nutra) so maybe the company just cancelled today. I’m relieved now but if in any case the company still want to take money from me, I already block them and will get refund from the bank so hopefully nothing will happen…

However if I wish to cancel then i have to pay a 20 pounds fee for re sstocking and also another amount t for postage so they will only give back 135 instead of 153 which they took and a further 1.99!
Now what to do??? I don’t know if I should wait for the 3rd April when they will send me rebate form and I send that then apparently I’ll get my full 153 pounds back?

I couldn’t get through on the number i’ve got so I emailed them about an hour later stating that i wish to cancel the order but I havent heard anything back from them.
It is now monday and as yet, the money hasn’t been taken out of my account (it isnt showing on my statement) does that mean they haven’t charged me or is that just wishful thinking on my part?
Am i better off contacting my bank and just cancelling my card?

    • Hi Nikki, I too did the exact same thing on Saturday and feel like such an idiot! I wouldn’t usually fall for a scam like this I’m so embarrassed, however it was incredibly misleading. I contacted my bank today and they told me that even if I cancel my card they payment will still go through, there is no way for them to stop that. She said all I could do was wait until the payment comes out, at the moment it’s still pending, and when it has to contact the bank again and they will try to dispute it with the company. In the meantime she said I need to do everything I can to try and get in touch with them to request that they cancel my subscription so that no further payments are made. She said to send an email so that I have it in writing, that way I’m covering myself. That being said, do you have an email address for the company? I can’t seem to find on anywhere. Hope I’ve been a little bit of help to you anyway.

I have been trying all day to get through to that number stated above but have had no luck. It will either constantly ring for 2 mins then they cut me off the line or they out me on hold for 5 mins then tell me to leave an answer phone message because no representatives are available. I’m not giving up on trying to get my money back and cancelling my subscription with them. I feel like the biggest idiot. I don’t know how these people can get away with doing this to innocent people. Iv also been told by my bank to contact trading standards as the bank can’t do anything. 123. I too fell for this scam, after looking at the website again I suddenly realised what I had done. I had just received the raspberry ketone and green coffee cleanse 5 days after ordering so had already been billed which I accept, so immediately phoned customer services on the O844 number and had an awful line so the American guy on the other end managed to get me a better line, he was very nice and gave me the authorisation numbers for the returns and the address to send them to which was the P.O. box one. He asked me why I was cancelling and I told him it was because of the horrendous price and he then offered them to me at 50 percent discount, of course I wasn’t having any of that. I am so lucky I paid with my credit card and not my debit card which I always use for online purchases as something told me not to use it this time. After the call I immediately phoned Barclaycard and told them I wanted to cancel the card and told them why so at least they can’t bill me any more. I must say the customer services was very polite and the call was answered immediately maybe because it was not long after 9 a.m. I was worried about getting through. I am sending the capsules back by recorded delivery. I did ask about the re-stocking fee I saw on the ketone blurb which was £7.99 (another scam) and he said I wouldn’t be charged this fee, well I definitely won’t be charged for that now! I did wonder why there were 2 different phone numbers for the 2 different products considering they were from the same place, well both the same only that one had a 2 on the end and the other a 3 but he said I could do it all through him and post them back together although they were in different packages when they came to me. I told customer services I had consumed 1 tablet from each container but he said it didn’t matter, I should hope not as you shouldn’t have to return them at all in my opinion.

    • Have you had your money refunded to you?

      Reply
      • I didn’t ask for a refund, it was only about £8.48 for the trial offer for both products, the recorded delivery was £4.10. I checked with Barclaycard and only this amount has been taken and customer services at b/card said they wouldn’t be able to charge me again as I have stopped the card. I didn’t ask for a refund as I was just grateful that I spotted this scam before they had a chance to charge me big time. There was no way I was not going to send the products back as its best not to give them any excuses for anything as its in the terms and conditions which are binding. (I think). The only thing is when I got my confirmation e-mail with the RMA number it was only for the raspberry product but I made a note of both numbers in case of dispute and put both numbers on the return package. Hopefully this is the end of it.

    • I was caught by this scam through Facebook too on 23rd March. £153 has now come out of my bank. I have spoken to my bank who are happy to dispute the payment (Barclays). They said to contact the Raspberry Ketone Fresh company (08004046960) and ask for a refund. I got through to them (their phone lines are open from 1pm onwards British time) and an American lady said I had 2 options. To wait 30 days for the rebate form so I can keep the product and get all my money back (yeah right, total huge risk of not seeing any of my money back), or sending the product back unopened to the address on their website and getting a refund that way, minus £20 for their re-stocking fee.
I chose option 2, in hope that my bank will be able to get me all my money back anyway, but if they cant, then at least Ive only lost £20 instead of £153. My package has arrived today, so I will be sending it back recorded delivery tomorrow.
Felt totally sick when I realised this was a scam! So annoyed and lesson learnt!

      • By the way, if you notify the bank that you do not want any further payments to come out of your account from a certain company, they have to honour this. If the company takes any further payments, your bank has to refund you as soon as it shows on your statement.

I too made the fatal mistake of logging into Facebook on 24/03 following the links through glamour magazine where they said hurry offer must end today for your 4.95 p&p trial, stocks limited, high demand blah blah, thought oh good lets give this a go, paid my supposed 4.95, then logged out and saw this page! I immediately called natwest who told me the same as many of you, couldn’t stop the transaction, had to let it go from my account then to phone again once it has left to report it to retail dispute. Called the company cannot cancel order, need to wait 30 days for refund form what a load of bollocks! Have been calling bank/company no luck so far, have been reading all your posts and have now reported them to watchdog, lets hope something comes of that! Also the ad is still on Facebook, left a comment two nights ago warning it was a scam they take more money from you, guess what comment deleted from page??? Wonder why that was, have also made feelings clear to glamour magazine, guess what not posting that either! Good luck all 🙁

We all need to report them to trading standards. How people can do this I thought I was only paying 4.95

  130. Cant believe I fell for this, same thing… thought I was paying 4.95 and they took £153!! phoned the number immediately and spoke to a very unhelpful woman who said I had to fill in the rebate form. spoke to my bank and there was nothing they could do. not sure what to do, was going to fill in rebate form and hope for the best but ive read on here that you cant get the rebate if your not in the USA, so think i’ll call the “company” again and get a rma number, at least that way I’ll only lose £20 instead of all of my money! why cant they make the law the same for abroad as for here, the 7 day cancellation law?! The bank did say they would keep an eye on my account to prevent further debits from them, but again have seen on here they just change the company name, the thieving b*stards! will be more careful and less stupid in future, and valuable lesson… if it looks to good to be true, it is!

What can i do??? i am at work from 6am UK time when can you call them? do they have an email address?

    Reply
    • Saliha: You can call 08004046960 and their hours are 1pm onwards British time. Ive tried emailing them on: rkf.unitedkingdom@gmail.com but never had a reply. Your best bet is just to keep trying the number. Ive heard that others have had more luck getting through if they put 141 in front of the 0800 number so your number is hidden from them when you call.

Make sure you contact your bank, that’s important too. They will be able to put a block on the company trying to take any more money in the future. They can also possibly raise a dispute on the amount – depends which bank you are with.

    • I did that!

I got through to an advisor who said they would send a confirmation cancellation email. I am still waiting for it.

I have rang my bank who cannot do anything about the transaction – it has to show on my statement then i can raise a dispute.

      It is so annoying.

  133. Sent off for what I thought were free trials for raspberry ketone and extreme cleanse postage only £4.95 each. Only when they took the second lot of £95.00 did I realise they were taking money. They had already taken £179.00 out of my account by then. Nationwide have refunded me one lot of money but despite phone calls and emails to the company I have no idea if I will ever get a refund. I will contact the ombudsman but I think these companys should be closed down. Address of company is PIONEER LABS BEACH READY INC, PO BOX 13511 LINLITHGOW WEST LOTHIAN EH49 7YHUK.

There is no point emailing them since they will not get back to you with a reply.

i have still not received the confirmation email although all 3 of them said it has been cancelled and i have my RMA number.

Also been given an address which is in Edinburgh not impressed!

was told that the order is processed within 5 minutes of you odering on the site. So you literally have no chance but to wait for the product and then return them!

I rung my bank again and asked them to block the merchant – it will come through as BIG NUTRA. They have advised to wait for the dispute department and they will handle all queries so i am waiting for the product to send back and get my refund.

    We shall see what happens.

On my statement though it came out under a different name, and when I looked into this the same company is using 3 different names (what I have found so far) Surely there has to be some sort of legal issues to be ordering from one company yet charged from another! I am ringing my bank back tomorrow they said as soon as it cleared in my bank they would dispute it

    Fingers crossed people xx xx
I’ll update once again what happens next and if I get the cheque or not. It been over a month already! Post office have already said it will take maximum 4 days for my form to reach them. I don’t understand why they will take 4 weeks sending me a cheque back ??????

  145. gem w, what contact numbers have you tried for them? When I contacted HSBC (I bank with them too), the woman I spoke to from the dispute dept gave me the number 0808 189 0613 and I managed to get through to someone on the 2nd attempt. This woman was helpful to a point, she gave me an RMA number to send the product back, I sent it (unopened) on 16th March and am still awaiting a refund. Have just emailed them to find out what’s going on and if I don’t get a response, will be calling them up to demand my money as they’ve no reason to be withholding it now. Hope that phone number works for you! If you do get through and then send the product off, send it recorded delivery so you get a package number which you can trace and you can see when they get it and also get proof of who signs for it! Good luck.

  147. The only thing hsbc have said for me is that i have to phone back on the 16th april (in 15 days) so that it can be disputed if i haven’t received a refund within that time. Tried too many to be honest they seem to keep me on hold forever or just cut out it’s ridiculous, ill give that number ago thank you!! What address did you use? because ive been all over the internet trying to find out more and that PO Box 13587 doesn’t exist, one lady even told them that and so they gave her slightly different number, so she decided to see what would happen if she sent 1 bottle to each address and when she sent it to 13587 it came back! but on my packaging its come from a milton keynes address that actually does exist ( thank god for google maps!) so think if i do manage to get number im going to send it there just to be safe. That maybe the reason you haven’t received your refund yet! According to the distribution selling act ‘The information about the seller must include a geographical address if payment is taken.’ which to me means they have breached this since they haven’t given a real one, and since i received my items from a uk address should mean they have to abide my then rules shouldn’t it? It’s so confusing especially when they are using 3 different names!

Oh No! my cousins getting married soon so i understand how every penny counts, 1 of the reasons i was watching my money is because he is having about 5 hen do’s lol it’s one of the reasons i decided to try this flaming product as i’m a bridesmaid. On a Plus note Congratulations!! hope you have a perfect day! i’ll cross everything fingers, toes, eyes!

  150. I can tell you now, the dispute will most likely be a waste of time, I was just basically told it was my own fault, I should’ve read the terms and conditions properly. Errm, I sent it to one that was on the website under the returns (although I’ve just had a look and it doesn’t seem to be there now), its
    Raspberry Ketone Fresh
    Attn: Fulfillment Center
RMA (put your RMA number here)
    PO Box 13587
    Linlithgow
    West Lothian
    EH49 9AT
    UK

I sent it recorded delivery and someone has signed for it so I guess the address must exist. I must call them tomorrow as I keep forgetting with everything else going on at the moment to chase up this refund as it’s now getting ridiculous.
Apparently they charge a restocking fee of £4 or something a bottle I think which is stupid but tbh, I’ll be happy if I get £134 back! Its way better than nothing!
Ah thank you so much for your well wishes 🙂 I’m really looking forward to the big day although it’s quite scary how fast it’s approaching!

It may be worth ringing the bank to get an address from them if they have one, they had a phone number that worked for them so they may have an address too?
    Good luck!

  151. Just another thing I’ve found out, I contacted Raspberry Ketone via email and they said they didn’t have a record of my order. So I then spoke to someone on the Raspberry Ketone website via livechat and asked them when I could expect to receive a refund for the Raspberry Ketone Fresh that I sent back. She said that they don’t sell that product and advised me to check my bank statement and find out who actually charged me for them and who I actually ordered them from. She also said there should be a contact number underneath. Sure enough, the number is the one I gave on Wednesday and the product was actually sold to me by Healthizon. They, however, have the same return address as I’ve put above except its

    Healthizon
    Attn: Fulfillment center etc etc…

Don’t know if this helps anyone with chasing up these people but just thought I’d let you all know.
Anyway, they say you receive a refund to your card within 30 days of them receiving the pills back so mine should be with me by Thursday coming. If not, I will be on the phone Thursday eve… watch this space!

  154. To be honest i think they just pick and choose who they help, they told me that id authorized the payment so nothing i could do even though i told them that i only agreed to 4.95, to me that just means the bank say that no matter what i agree to as long as i give them my details they can take what they want. I phoned bank when it happened and got told they could block payment so when i came in from work on Saturday i almost cried when i saw the package on my kitchen table knowing they had obviously taken the money out, so i phoned the bank and they said they couldn’t understand why the gentleman had said that since they aren’t able to do that and that as the department was closed at that time i would receive phone call on Monday. Well i didn’t get the phone call Monday because unfortunately my uncle was rushed into hospital and i had to keep going and letting his dog out, so its likely that i missed it. that night i checked bank and they had given me back the 153.95 but to call them back about the overdraft charges, when i did the next day they asked me to explain what happened so i did and they said unfortunately they would be taking the money back out of my bank because they were under the impression i hadn’t given my bank details to the company and i would have to ring back in 16 days.

Sent them back yesterday via tracked and signature and when I’ve checked tonight they said they hadn’t been able to deliver it as there was no access to address but no they are waiting for the addressee to contact them to arrange a time for delivery, so that’s means they would have posted one of those notes through doesn’t it?

  158. I stupidly ordered this product without researching. Though you had to only pay the £4.95 P&P but when I checked my bank account about £156 had been taken out. After trying a few times, I got through to the 0800 404 6960 number. I asked to cancel my order and to be refunded which they told me that I couldn’t and that I had two options. One was to resend the package back where I would have to pay for it to be sent back and I would get £139 back which is not the full amount and the second option was to wait 30 days for the rebate where the lady said I would “100% get my £149 back” but not the £4.95 p&p and you get to keep the product. I’m very sceptical, do you actually get the money back if you do the rebate and does the product actually work?

  160. My daughter also had £153 taken from her account. After about ten calls i got through to company. The only way out is to tell them to cancel future payments and ask for rma number and return product. I got a tracking number and item received. West lothian PO Box. 40 days gone by and no refund. Phoned comapny again. They said they have processed but takes ten days to get to account. Still waiting.
In the meantime i read through their terms and conditions which stated last updated august 2013. No where did it me tion about rebate or that you where charged £153. The company now have different terms and conditions that also state last updated august 2013 but they are different, they have about 14 bullet points instead if the original around 10 bullet points. The new terms and conditions now include the term rebate. How can they have two sets of terms and conditions with the exact same update on. This to me proves its a fraud so i have opened a case with bank and sent both copies of the terms, case still open with bank. Will update when we get a refund

  163. *I MANAGED TO GET A REFUND EVENTUALLY* PLEASE READ*

So I fell for this ridiculous scam too and went through all of the same emotions – anger, upset and feeling like a total idiot for falling for this stupid scam. Anyway, I spent a long time trawling through the forums to find out how I could get a refund and this month my refund of £134 (not the full amount) was given back to me. Although it was inconvenient, I was not as much out of pocket as I thought I would be, and I feel a little sense of achievement that the cowboys who set this scam up did not win…here’s how I did it:

*I rang my bank as soon as I found out I had been scammed. They were no help advising I needed to wait until it showed on my bank statement before they could do anything, which would take up to 48 hours and the money would have already gone by then.
*I rang Raspberry Ketone Fresh. The first few times I rang the number there was no answer. Do not leave a message, there is no point – they will not ring you back. When the voicemail message came on I just hung up. I noticed that every time I rang back for a third time in a row they answered. Just persevere! I think it is another tactic of theirs not to answer the phone! I also rang at around 9pm each time so this may also be another useful tip.
*When they finally did answer the phone, again they were no help whatsoever advising that the product had already been processed (even after only 30 minutes). I asked how I could get my money back. They tried to talk me into the rebate option. DO NOT go for this option. The form you need to send off will go to an address in the USA. There is no way to track the form and it will take too long to get there by the time you get the form, by which time you will miss the deadline for the rebate. This is part of the scam. I told them I wanted a refund and they advised me to send the pills back when they arrived, with the bottles unopened. As I chose the refund option they told me to ring back when I had the product for the “RMA” number which is supposedly needed to process the refund.
*I waited for the product to arrive. It came within 4 working days.
*When they arrived I rang the company back and advised that I did not want the product (again I rang at 9pm and they only answered on the third attempt). They gave me an RMA number (Which is around 17 digits long!) They also gave me an address to send the product to and told me to include the RMA number and order number on the address.
*NOW HERE IS THE INTERESTING PART (and all part of the scam). The address that is on their website and also the address that they give you over the phone is an INCORRECT address. I found this out after searching forums for hours. You need to send the product back to the address on the front of the package. I cannot remember what this is but it says on the package “If package undelivered please return to:” This is the address YOU NEED to send the product back to. Above the address write Raspberry Ketone Fresh, attn. Fulfilment centre, and underneath this put your RMA and Order numbers. Then put the address on the front of the package
*I sent mine recorded and tracked delivery which was around £6.
*When I checked online and saw it had arrived I rang the company again (yes at 9pm and yes they answered on the third attempt). They tried to tell me they did not have the product though I told them I had sent it recorded and tracked delivery and therefore had the tracking number. They soon “realised” it had in fact arrived. They then advised I would get my refund within 35 days, with a line on the end “If for any reason the money is not bank in your account in that time please contact us”, at this I knew the money would not be there after 35 days and sure enough it wasn’t.
*I rang back after the 35th day, again at 9pm, and advised the money was not there. They then said “I will process the refund now”, so by this they were clearly saying they had not processed in it the first place! They advised this time that the money would be back in my bank in 7 working days and quicker if I was “lucky”.
*The next day the money was back in my account.

The number you need to ring for the company is 0800 404 6960. There are a few different numbers around on the internet but this is the one I had success with.

The people who run this scam want you to give up. They make it hard for you and think that you will just give up and not pursue the refund. To get the refund is actually quite easy. It just takes perseverance. I really hope this helps at least one person!!!

  165. I ordered one of these trial products where you just pay shipping, then in time realised they were going to take a contract of £80 a month on my account so before they took the payments for the contract I have cancelled my bank card and advised my bank to stop all future payments to the company. The bank said that is a payment did get through somehow my bank would refund it for me as they are liable under FSA legislation. My Question is I have the pills but do not really want to send them back to the states, can I just say I have not received them? or say I have sent them back when I have not? As I do not want to pay any further cost. I have emailed them the distance selling act to say I have a 7 day cooling off period and have cancelled. Please help?

I did the same back in Feb, As i paid by Debit card I couldn’t not claim it back, I tried to call them several times over 7 days with no luck, so i decided just to “play the game” and use the tablets and apply for the rebate cheque. Firstly the tablets make you feel very sick/shaky and have had no benefit. Exercise and Healthy eating is really the only way forward! I have followed there instructions perfectly and sent my rebate form to them recorded delivery and filled in the form correctly in the time scale they requested. it has been 14 weeks now and I have heard nothing. Waste of time/money and yes a complete scam!

It mentions to wait 8-10 weeks for processing so I did and by the 11th week I still have not received any cheque or refund so rang them up, got through straight away and the woman said that they have received the form (surprised) but said it would be processed 8-10 weeks from the 30th of the month they received the form which worked out id get my rebate back early July. Mid July came and still nothing so rang again and she said it will be the end of July. It is now the 30th of July and surprise surprise, nothing. I will be ringing them again tomorrow and I will not be fobbed of with waiting any longer. It states 8-10 weeks I have waited since April, how is that 8-10 weeks. If I can’t get anywhere tomorrow I will be contacting trading standards.

  169. I fell for this scam on the 12th march and received a full refund today.

As mentioned by previous people, this company want you to give up.

The moment I realised my mistake (which was the moment I hit the ‘buy’ button) I registered the scam with my bank. They explained they could do nothing until I fulfilled all of the conditions of the companies T&C’s surrounding the purchase.

    I followed all of the company’s T&C’s which were;
    – return the rebate claim form 30 days after ordering item (the form was attached with my order confirmation as a link. You can’t physically fill in the form earlier than the 30 days). I sent my form off to USA address provided using a recorded delivery service.
    – after 2/3 weeks I phoned the company to chase up my rebate. They acknowledged that they’d received my rebate form (shock!) and that I’d receive my refund in 10 weeks (end of June)
    – early July I phoned the company again to chase up refund. They said it was being processed and that I’d receive the refund at the end of July.
    – at this point I phoned my bank and explained that I had now more than fulfilled the T&C’s of the purchase and had done what I could to get my rebate. My bank stated that there is now a new consumer act that enables the bank’s disputes department to act on my behalf if a company has not fulfilled it’s own T&C’s.

I received the full refund after nearly 5 stressful months.

    Don’t give up!

  170. I just discovered a $49.95 charge om my debit card. I never ordered it, I never heard of Rasberry Ketone until now. Its being shipped to my old address, I will try and intercept it. I have contacted my bank to cancel but it may take 10 days for a refund and my next step is the police but I doubt they will help.

  173. I was just going through my bank account today and found a fraudulent charge. The charge was made by 888-404-9930.com (a scam company as well if you look up the owner) who claimed they are the fulfillment house only but the website is proof they are the company who makes the charge. The fraud charge was for the rasberry ketone, which was made while I was on a fishing trip in northern WI and had no internet. Stay away from both companies as they are liekly working together to fraud people.
