Slendera Garcinia Cambogia – SCAM report

Slendera Garcinia Cambogia – SCAM report

There has been a lot of attention given to the fat burning benefits of Garcinia Cambogia over the last year, which has led to a rise in supplements like Slendera being created.

However, despite the claimed benefits certain supplements are best avoided, such as those made available as a trial. The reason? Well, unfortunately once signed up you will also discover that you have signed up for an auto ship program that will continue to send you packages along with a hefty bill even when you don’t want them.

In this review we are going to look at the Slendera Garcinia Cambogia trial to see if it is different from all the others, or whether it is a similar kind of scam.

Claimed benefits of Slendera

The following claims have been made on the Slendera website:

  • Burn fat
  • Reduce calorie intake
  • Boosts the metabolism
  • Improves your mood

These claims seem realistic as this is what you should expect from a Garcinia Cambogia supplement. However, other claims such as the ability to burn fat around the clock without diet or exercise is certainly unrealistic.

It is always recommended that you diet and exercise even when taking a dietary supplement, otherwise you will not learn how to keep the weight off without the use of a supplement.

Ingredients used to make Slendera

Slendera is made unsurprisingly from Garcinia Cambogia, however despite stating that it is effective in doses of 1000 mg with 50% HCA it doesn’t actually state that it contains this dosage.

We can assume that it does, which means that the claimed benefits are realistic.

True cost of Slendera

Slendera is available to try “risk free”, which is not the same as saying that it is a free trial.

The initial cost of the trial is $4.97, which covers the cost of postage. However what you may not be aware of is that once you have signed up to this trial offer you only have 14 days from the initial sign up date to decide whether you want to keep the product or not.

If you fail to cancel within the allotted trial period you will be charged the full purchase price of $84.97, as well as being added to their “monthly replenishment program” that basically means an auto-ship program, where you will be sent further monthly packages along with the hefty bill.

Is Slendera a scam?

Trial offers like this cover their payment terms in their terms and conditions, which unfortunately means that if you fail to read them you have no legal right to a refund.

For this reason alone I cannot recommend that you sign up for this trial offer, or any trial offer for that fact.

Slendera is also overpriced as there are plenty of alternatives that cost a fraction of the price, yet provide similar benefits.

How to contact/cancel Slendera?

To cancel your trial of Slendera you will need to contact them using the following information:

Phone number: 1 (866) 786-8241

There is also an email address (support@onlineproductoffers.com), however they state in their T&Cs that they will not accept cancellation requests using this method.

If you have signed up for this trial offer please leave a message below with your experiences. We would love to hear from you.

The following video could help you get a refund too:

Alternative to Slendera

A more cost effective alternative to Slendera is Garcinia Pure, which is available from the Evolution Slimming website for just $62 for a months supply.

You will find that this supplement contains the equivalent of 1000 mg Garcinia Cambogia with 60% HCA in each capsule, meaning you are going to be consuming the recommended dosage to experience weight loss.

Best of all as Garcinia Pure is not available as a trial you know exactly what you are paying and will not be surprised with any hidden charges being made to your account.

  1. I am very upset and disappointed with the misleading advertisement for Slendera and Natural Cleanse. I was charged the additional amounts and am attempting to have my account credited as I was not aware that they would automatically charge my account. In the terms and conditions I received with the order, there is nothing about this additional charge or automatic order or even “membership” as was the language used in their email to me when I canceled the product. I was not aware that I was “joining” anything! I was told that I could get a full refund, if I return the product, but I will be charged a “restocking” fee of $12.95/bottle, which is crazy! So my advice to others is to not order this product unless you are prepared and really intend to use it and pay the additional costs. To me, this is a “SCAM” !!!

    • I agree with Lisa. I was not aware i was signing up for a membership and I just called the number and was told I couldn’t cancel my request until I actually received the shipment because apparently it already shipped. However I did not get a tracking number or anything saying my package was on its way. I guess I can say I have learned my lesson about scams like these, it just sucks I will have to pay a “restocking” fee. The whole thing is ridiculous. Not a very good experience, especially if you aren’t sure you’re willing to commit to anything.

    • Hello fellow complainers,

Agreed SCAM SCAM. Here is what you need to do.

Call your credit card company and have them treat these charges as FRAUD, also cancel your credit card and have them issue you a new one with new account number. My credit card company said I would not have to pay these charges.

Call 844 336-9071 and cancel the “monthly replenishment program”

Let them know you have contacted your credit card company who will handle the charges as fraud. Bring to their attention the numerous complaints about their company and you plan to file a complaint with the BBB.

I went round and round with Mark who finally said I could send the unopened bottle I did not order or agree to back for a refund. He indicated that because I hadn’t contacted them within 14 days of receiving the “Trail” he would not issue a credit for that one. I just that that go by because Visa told me I would not have to pay these charges anyway. I will send the bottle back anyway return receipt and by FED X where I can have a tracking number. UPS will not deliver to a PO Box. He gave me the following address to ship the to:

      On Line Product Offices LLC
      PO Box 12803
      Scottsdale AZ 85267

He issued me a merchandise order number which is to be placed on the outside of the package. I told him I wanted something in writing via my email that the “unwanted unauthorized account” had been canceled and along with his shipping instructions. He said it would be sent to my address within 24 hours.

I will follow up with a complaint to the BBB

      Good luck.

      • A scam but I did have pleasant results after reading your review. I called 1-844-336-9071 to speak with a company rep.
After the normal, “I’m sorry ma’am but it shows you..”yada yada, i asked to speak with a supervisor. He put me on hold. After he returned he said his supervisor could refund half the charges.
Considering how frustrated I was at this point, I declined the half off offer and said since $84.97 was illegally taken from my account I will need all $84.97 refunded. He said he could do that and gave me the full refund transaction number upon request.
I just wanted to say thank you.

      • I also got this product and can’t cancel over the phone unless bottles are returned to them. They mailed me two bottles in the same package but I paid for 2 shipping. This is a scam happy I am canceling early. This is so familiar.

    • I also agree that everything about this company is a complete SCAM!!! I ordered my “free” bottle of Slendera through them and paid the shipping cost. NOWHERE was there any indication that I was signing up for an auto-ship, membership or anything of the kind. I received the bottle and honestly didn’t even open it and try it. At the end of 14 days, I was charged for $84.97. I called my bank and they couldn’t even see who to contact to dispute the charge. I had a sneaking suspicion that it was the company who sent the Slendera. In the original shipment, it only contained a small invoice showing that I ordered it and their company name, address and a phone number for customer service. The phone number is BOGUS! I had to go online and find another number to contact them. The woman I spoke with to complain and to cancel everything tried to argue with me that I didn’t call within my 14 day trial period. In fact, I was calling on the 14th day of a trial period that I didn’t even know I was in. I demanded a full refund, a cancellation of everything and told her that I would send back her unopened product. I warned her that I was filing a complaint with the Arizona BBB and letting my credit card company know that this is FRAUD. She told me she cancelled everything but refused to give me her name or give me some kind of case or ID number for the call. I say avoid this company at ALL costs, they are SCAM artists!

    • I also found this company to be very fraudulent in their advertisement, their invoicing and every time I called, I would be told I was speaking to the supervisor in charge. It finally took 10 calls, along with threatening them with the BBB and calling my credit card company for them to state they would refund both amounts.

The next thing I knew, I was told I would receive $84.97 back for one of the products, but they could not refund the other charge via credit card and I would have to receive a check via mail within 5 business days.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, DO I RECOMMEND YOU USE THIS COMPANY IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM. THEY ARE CROOKS AND DON’T GIVE YOU A STRAIGHT ANSWER EVERY TIME I CALLED.

I WILL BE WAITING TO SEE IF THE “CHECK IS IN THE MAIL FOR THE $74.97 CHARGE FOR THE NATURAL CLEANSE, AND THE CREDIT TO MY CREDIT CARD IS ON MY CHARGE CARD WITHIN 5 BUSINESS DAYS.

      STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!

  2. This company is horrible. Not only does the product NOT work they give u nothing but a hard time to cancel. I got hung up on for no reason but when I called back the other person was ok with my canceling. funny they give you a 30 supply but yet you have to cancel in 14 days? They charged my account twice. one for about 74.00 and the other 84.00. this company is screwing people left and right. I will NEVER order anything like this again or give anyone my personal information

    • When I finally got the right phone number to call the company (first phone number was unassigned?) “Rose” just kept telling me to go back to the website I ordered from for terms. I asked to speak to the supervisor several times. I have to admit I lost my temper in a bad way!! She finally transferred to to her supervisor I was left on hold, finally hung up. Called another number got the same run around from “Mike”! I told them I’d send the product back, that was just ignored and again wanting to send me to a website for their terms. He also denied that they charged my account twice!! I’m glad I found THIS website, at least I’m not alone and may be able to right this wrong!!
Slendera is without a doubt is a SCAM!!!

But the number they called me from its not active, and whenever i m trying to call the number given here they are saying they would like to help me but currently they are having technical issues so to call them back after 1 hour. my credit card got charged twice for $87 and $78. I am so frustrated now. does anybody know how to contact them and cancel any further shipment? please i would be grateful.

    • the number i called and got an india speaking person is: 866.786.8241
i was told that i was 2 days late for the 14 day trial…even though the product made no difference to my fat. i have to return the natural cleanse ONLY and when they receive it…THEN, my bank account will no longer be deducted of $84.97. which that is what made me call this stupid company. so basically i spent 4.95, 4.95, and then a whopping $84.97 for one bottle of nothing.

  5. I tried calling the day I received the first product! I was sent the product twice and charged twice. As you stated there is NOTHING on the invoice when you receive it. Trying desperately to find out how to return in the trial period. There isn’t even a valid company or contact on the bottle. I may cancel my card to avoid their thievery.

      • I also got ripped off by this scam. Luckily, my bank called me after 3 of these charges and as I didn’t know where they were from, I cancelled the credit card. After trying several phone numbers I was able to reach India and argue with a guy named “Kevin.” He was no help. After reading some of these posts, I called back and argued until I got a supervisor, “Christopher” who finally agreed to refund the price of one bottle – $89.97. I still got ripped off about $150 but it’s something.

a charge of $84.00 each month on my account. I also had the bank change my debit card
number. My bank didn’t charge me for any of this. I’m sure your bank will want to stop these
    people too.
If you used a credit card, call your CC phone number and change your card number.

The products DO NOT work and this company needs to be stopped ASAP. I work for attorneys and am looking to see what can be done to put them out of business.

  12. Same as above. These people are really sneaky….they sent me a $4.95 email receipt for my order, but not surprisingly, I got no email receipt for the $79 charge that came 2 weeks later. I actually looked for the “trick” in this advertisement, but I didn’t read anything. The Indian man I spoke with on the phone to cancel got really defensive when I said I didn’t know anything about the membership policy. I am going to dispute with my credit card company.

  13. I am really frustrated, I ordered both Natural Cleanse and Slendera Garcinia Cambogia on the same day and was sent a confirmation email telling me that I was charged the $5.00 or so and that my shipment would arrive within 7-10 days. Well, it’s been 22 days since that transaction and I still haven’t received the product and yet they are still charging me $85-95 for each bottle. How was I supposed to decide whether I wanted to keep the product or not within the allotted time if I am not able to try the product? When I contacted their customer service via the phone number listed in my confirmation email I was told by the representative (the same Indian guy I’m sure a few of you have also dealt with) that it was my fault for not reading the terms and conditions (which I don’t think even exist on the site because I certainly can’t find them) and that I would receive my shipment within 1-2 days. I don’t even want the product any more, but he insisted that they would send it to me and once I received the bottles I should call back. Honestly, right now I’m hoping that I can get a full refund even if I need to pay a restocking fee, what’s $30 or $40 compared to the $180 I’ve been charged. I have certainly learned my lesson and am going to avoid ordering anything like this product again, I don’t need the stress.

  16. I too find no mention of this ongoing payment plan in the on-line literature that accompanied the order. I know I should know better than to think there was any weight loss pill that would work, but like many others, I gave Dr. Oz, who was endorsing this product, a credibility that he so very clearly does not deserve. I had seen his questioning on capitol hill, so I should have double been on my guard, but it was because he had endorsed this product that I thought -what the hell, it’s only $2.95. What could the harm be? Shame on you Dr. Oz. Shame, shame, shame. A hundred bucks later I no longer have the same carefree air.

NOOOOO you receive 60 tablets. Which after the 14 day trial is up, they will charge your credit card for the bottle. Then you are on an auto shipment and will receive more pills and credit card charges until you call them. Takes several weeks to get a refund and if you send the shipment back they charge you a restock fee. This is not a company to do business with so I would not order this product.

  24. I was also a victim to the scam however, I learned of it being a scam about 15 minutes after I signed up for the “free trial” and I paid the shipping fees. After learning 15 minutes later that it was a scam, I called them to cancel my order and yes the Indian guy was the one I spoke with. I explained that I just learned that it was a scam and wanted to cancel the order. I also told him that I was “recording” the conversation to prove that I was cancelling it within the time alloted in their terms and conditions. He freaked out and requested that I stop the recording. I told him that I was not will to do so and that if my order was not cancelled immediately (minus the initial shipping fees) that I would commence legal action and I had the proof that I cancelled fifteen minutes after signing up. He was not happy but he did cancel my “membership” and sent me a confirmation of the same. If anyone has trouble cancelling the order, tell the “indian guy” that you are recording the conversation and get a good laugh at him freaking out about it being recorded.

  28. I was at a weak moment and made the purchase. After making the purchase, I read about the scam. I called the number listed above. Spoke with a man with a very strong Indian accent who told me they would cancel the subscription but that the $4.95 was non- refundable. I disagreed. If the product had not shipped, then this was fraud. I asked to speak with a supervisor. He repeated to me that he had supervisor skills but when I bought the item, I agreed to the non-refundable charge of $4.95. I again asked for a supervisor and took his name. After waiting for at least 10 minutes on hold, a man by the name of Ryan who called himself the operations supervisor came on the line. He repeated much of what the initial support person said. I proceeded to tell him this was fraud and I would be reporting this company. He said that he would gladly send me the website location with the information. I then told him I was going to file a law suit and his name would be involved. I advised him that this $9.00 was likely not worth the pain and suffering this might bring. He agreed that he did not want to lose his job and refunded me the amount. I received an email instantly letting me know of the cancelation and the refund (4 emails in total). He claimed he was working out of Florida but I would venture to say he was in India. This is a scam. Don’t let them take you money. I know better than to fall for these kinds of things but I read an article form Womens Health and thought It was legitimate. Boy was I blindsided. Guess it from all the Halloween candy I have been eating.

Then were charged again through Slendera @ the 844-635-9196 number by a India speaking fella Davielhorri and were once again told this recurring charge would stop. I hope it works this time. I looked into this company up on there Llc fille and they have over 200 company names. Ripoff scam biz. He says they are located in Clearwater Fla. and ship out of Scottsdale, Az. My wife saw something on facebook about this. Stop payment with the bank works. However this scam company sets you up just by a click your authorizing them to start recurring payments out of your account. Even if you delete your debit card the money will still come out of your new one. Unless you contact these scammers and get written auth. that they will stop stealing your money. #skineelife

No one advised me to mail them back with a tracking number. So now I am screwed. The number that I ordered them from was 1-844-668-2349. I called my local post office and they said they could not track anything like that from regular mail. But he did give me a number to make a fraud report. I have disputed the charges with my bank, filed fraud charges against the company via the Florida BBB and have contacted the attorney general for the state of Florida. Please have everyone who has experienced this same scam to do the same. This is not an American company and they are defrauding the American Citizens of the Unites State. I dont care if the restock was a dollar, I would still fight this by every means necessary and available. I hate scummy scammy people and businesses!!!!

  38. I am a victim of this scam too. I spoke with the Indian guy, I got the trial bottle and called the company right away to cancel future orders but they insisted that I consume the product first and call back but to my surprise they already charged my cc $84. I called to get my refund but the Indian guy insisted that I called late. They are a big scam, they need to be in jail. They are fooling a lot of people and making thousands from their junk product.

  39. I received this product in November but returned it within 2-3 days with tracking info. I tried to call and let them know I was returning the product but there was no phone number. I mailed the package and followed up with an email. I was told my account was cancelled. Then as I am looking over my credit card statement I notice a charge for $74.95 and $87.95 from 2 separate places so I put in a dispute with my card company and called the number listed on the credit card charge. I too talked to an Indian fella who also told me that my account was in fact cancelled but he could not refund my money because when I returned the product I did not get a return authorization prior to return and they have no proof the product was returned. I tried to very nicely explain to him that I returned the product in the correct timeline, with the return label they provided and that I have the tracking information that it was signed for! He proceeded to tell me he could not refund my money and to take it up with my fraud account on my credit card! If you make the mistake of ordering the “magic” diet pills and want to return the product, CALL FIRST AND GET AN AUTHORIZATION or else they won’t credit you. I asked to speak with a supervisor but was told none were available.

  40. Slendera has a new twist to their scam. Ad featuring Jennifer Hudson admitting losing her weight thru detox clean and Slimera while spokesman for weight watchers. Bottle of each coat $4.97 plus $1.97 shipping and handling for each. There was no mention of any membership or continuous order or charge. I ordered 9/25/15. $4.97 for Slimera and $1.97 shipping and handling. Didn’t order the detox. Received order 10/2/15 Looked at credit card on 10/23/15 and saw bill of $84.97for 10/9/15. Called dispute charge. Received from card company blurred copies about Slendera not canceling in 14 days .There was no mention of Slendera no info about future order or billing. I only received one bottle and they lied and said a order was shipped to me on 10/9/15’I will try to expose them and the other Slimera.
