Slimdrene and Slimdrene Cleanse SCAM Report

Slimdrene and Slimdrene Cleanse SCAM Report

After receiving a number of complaints already regarding both Slimdrene and Slimdrene Cleanse it makes sense to review them to see why there have been so many issues.

Immediately I can see that both products are available for trial, which in my experience is a bad sign and often a front for an auto-ship program.

Whether this is the case with Slimdrene and Slimdrene Cleanse remains to be seen. However we will soon find out for ourselves in this review.

Claimed benefits of Slimdrene and Slimdrene Cleanse

Slimdrene and Slimdrene Cleanse offer the following benefits:

Slimdrene benefits

  • Lose your cravings
  • Burn stored fat
  • Retain muscle mass
  • Stop feeling hungry
  • Eat less, feel better

Slimdrene Cleanse benefits

  • Naturally increase energy
  • Natural metabolism booster
  • Enhance weight management

In the advertorials we have seen for these supplements it is recommended that you use both, which will apparently make your weight loss results appear much quicker.

We would need to look at the ingredients of both supplements to see whether their individual claims could result in real results.

Ingredients found in both Slimdrene and Slimdrene Cleanse

While both products are made using ingredients shown to produce their claimed benefits, it is a little worrying to discover there is no mention of the dosage of these ingredients.

Slimdrene for instance contains Raspberry Ketones, Acai Berry, Green Tea, Pure Green Coffee, African Mango and Resveratrol, while Slimdrene Cleanse contains Aloe, White Oak, Blue Vervain, Gentian Root and Goldenseal.

However without knowing how much of each ingredient is present there is just no way of knowing if any positive effects will be experienced.

For all we know no benefit will be experienced, or worse still there maybe ingredients not listed that could potentially cause harm.

How much does Slimdrene and Slimdrene Cleanse cost?

The main complaint we have received regarding these products is the price, but what is the issue?

Well, once you read the terms and conditions of the trial offer you will soon discover for yourself why trials are best avoided.

While both supplements are available for just £2.99 at sign up (for postage) you will soon find that this is not the true cost of the trial.

Just 14 days after sign up you will be in for a huge shock when the £104.99 charge is made to your account for each product, which means those who have been enticed into signing up for both trial will get a bill for over £200.

As both Slimdrene and Slimdrene Cleanse are auto-ship programs (again this fact is hidden in the T&Cs) you will find that each month further charges will be made for further product deliveries.

No wonder trial offers have such a bad name.

Are Slimdrene and Slimdrene Cleanse a scam?

Unfortunately those who sign up for either trial offer will feel as though they have been scammed.

This is why it is best either to avoid trial offers completely, or at he very least read the terms and conditions before you sign up.

My suggestion would be to speak to Slimdrene and Slimdrene Cleanse for a refund if you have been caught by their payment terms, or if that fails speak to your bank as they deal with hundreds of complaints like this on a daily basis.

Alternative to Slimdrene and Slimdrene Cleanse

Our recommended alternative to the above reviewed supplements would be Raspberry Ketone Plus (£19.95 when bought individually) and Detox Plus (available for £19.95).

There is a package price for both supplements, which costs £38.95, which is not only cheaper than the individual price, but also considerably cheaper than Slimdrene and Slimdrene Cleanse.

As neither product is available for trial you do not have to worry about any unwanted charges being made to your account, the price you see is the price you pay.

    • Hi Gavin
Thanks for the info on the address. A month ago I ordered the pills, never received them and forgotten all about it, until this morning I was £190 short in my bank statement. I have reported the fraud to my bank, but they are saying that they won’t simply refund me the money, and the case will be investigated. I am confused and feel silly… Did you managed to get your money back?

      • I ordered the tablets, i’ve not opened them, and today i find that 2x £94.99 have been taken from my account, i’ve rung the so called ‘company’ and spoke to a lady she sounded from the far east, I said i could send them back just give me the address, she said i couldn’t send them back, and she could do a 50% refund within 24 to 48 hours.

The number i rang was 0800-368-610 probably got huge phone bill to come now!! They do keep you on hold for a while before answering!!!

    • Likewise I was caught out by this company and the SMALL PRINT of their terms and conditions.

N.B. Read the small print … what you are doing is signing up for a product at extortionate prices by accepting a ‘trial offer’ and then when checking your bank/credit card statements 3 or 4 weeks later it is too late to cancel the first shipment … you have been done.

      This is one big Scam

    • Total scam, just noticed today that they have been taking my money. I have received the ‘free trial’ and got charged the full price 3 weeks later. As I used the tablets already I cant give them back hence no refund. The also charged me again last month but I never received the goods. I have started a case with my bank to recover the funds. I have also tried to contact Slimdrene, however the 0800 number is not working and the number supplied above neither. I also lodged an online ticket with Slimdrene not confident though that I will hear back from them… Oh and the product doesnt work either.

  4. hi, I ordered too but I cancelled it soon as I knew about the hidden price after the trial. So I claimed for RMA cancellation number and I sent back it for them how they said because I am a single mum of 3 kids and I can not afford that. And after the cancellation they took the money out from my account!

  5. I too have been caught out by this , as I thought I had 30 days ! My fault for not reading small print . It has actually cost me 2x £2.99 & 2 x 109.00 . I am informed by my bank , that as I entered into an agreement with slimdrene,, I cannot therefore get my money back ! I hope at least a few people read this and avoid their free trial offer , it’s a total scam and the law cannot help .

  6. I signed up for slimdrene and slimdrene cleanse, I to thought it was a free sample I’ve had the tablets of two week no weight loss as yet but felt less bloated tries to pay a bill on my debit card and it got declined so checked bank there was a pending transaction for dietary for the sum of £109.99 thought who the hell is this so phoned bank and they gave me there phone number, I rang them and all I got was them asking me loads of questions who I was where I lived and my telephone number, I said I want to know who they are why they took this money and man on phone said we need your detail so we can access your account gave them my details and they said the money was for slimdrene pills but the slimdrene cleanse pills payment got refused, so they didn’t just try take £109.99 they tried to take about £220 out my account stating I should have read the small print if it was there I would have but there was nothing on the site or paper work I received did it state that the total price of the product would be nearly £110 I would not have asked for free trial I would sooner suffer the pain and sweat of going the gym to loose weight and for less the cost, I have tried going back on the link my husband sent me for slimdrene when I click on free trial it now states ketones body pro, so even if I can prove they are frauding people they have now changed products name

  7. Hello everyone!
I ordered the free trial but just now I have found out about the scam so I used the Live Chat to ask how to cancel the order and the lady answered me: “We respectfully apologize but your order of Slimdrene and Slimdrene Cleanse have been sent to our warehouse. Once an order have been sent to the warehouse we cannot stop the order from being processed. Please contact us when you receive your order to obtain a Return Authorization Number (RMA) and details on return. If you have any further questions you can contact our Customer Serviceat (US) 0800-368-6101(Monday-Friday: 8AM-8PM, Saturday: 9AM-2PM EST) or send us an email.”. So as soon as I will get the order, I will send it back and I hope no money will be taken out from my account.

    • I ordered the free trial of this product this morning and almost straight away realised it was a scam. I had to wait till their customer service was open at 9am before I could phone them so in the meantime I phoned my credit card company to stop any payments. They knew straight away who the company was as the delivery charges had already been debited from my account. 2 payments of £2.99 and also a payment of 99p were taken off my account despite the fact that I only ordered the trial for the Slimdrene not the Slimdrene cleanse. I phoned Slimdrene and got the same response as Liz who said they couldn’t stop the shipment etc. I’m afraid I got very angry on the phone! I feel like an idiot as I know there’s nothing in life that’s free. My advise is call the bank or credit card company. I’m really glad I paid by credit card as I think you’re better protected. When I phoned the credit card company the 2nd time after phoning Slimdrene, they have disputed the delivery charges as I explained they refused to accept my cancellation and said they couldn’t stop the shipment etc. They also have put a stop on any further payments from that Company for 40 months. It’s a big lesson learned.

  11. Ordered my “free trial” of Slimdrene via an ad on facebook on 2nd May, they arrived on 7th, admittedly there was a bank holiday in between. I opened them today to start taking them & glanced over the sheet of paper that was inside – almost falling over when I read that “if I was satisfied after 14 days from the date of my order with the product then they would be taking a further £109.99 from my bank followed by a further £104.99 + £9.99 p+p every 30 days!!
Now bearing in mind the pills took a week to arrive that’s half of my 14 day trial period gone besides the fact that nowhere on the ad that I signed up for my free trial (£3.98 p+p) on was there a mention of any other money being taken.
Its hardly a “Free Trial” is they are going to whack you with a £109.99 bill within 7 days.
I rang to cancel & the guy (sounded eastern european) tried to convince me to take the pills anyway as if I wasn’t satisfied for any reason I could still return them with “no obligations”
I assured him that “Even if I was completely satisfied & I did lose weight on these tablets there is no way on earth that I would then continue to pay almost £115 per month to carry on”
Got my RMA reference eventually & sent them straight back with a proof of posting. Will be contacting the bank to make sure they haven’t set anything up on my account.
This should be reported to Trading Standards, many people would not read the paper that came with it, I very nearly didn’t myself.

    • Could you possibly share the address? I have had no luck contacting them. I don’t care about the RMA number as i don’t particularly want a refund on the trial, but have been advised to return the pills as per the agreement, and knowing the address would be such a help – it’s impossible to do this at work and time is running out!

  12. I signed up for the 14 day free trial but I read the t&cs first and 2 days after ordering when I knew it had been dispatched I rang the bank and canceled my card so they can’t physically take a payment. Jokes on you Slimdrene. I have to say though, I’ve been taking the pills for 2 days and my appetite is hugely reduced and the cleanse is definitely working, I reckon my now 30 day free trial may actually produce some notible difference and I’m usually very skeptical about diet pills but I do feel a big difference with these.

I’m a 17 year old student, I get paid about £300 a month… There’s no way I can afford for them to take that out my bank! Please anyone I need urgent help!

    • Hi Grace
i just read your comment that is so terrible that they can take advantage of people.
i too ordered the trial (on my credit card) and then came across this site. i have since contacted my credit card company and told them of this. they suggested i cancel my card (as its a card payment) and they will send me a new credit card (different details) so now i will receive the trial pills for £3.98 that i paid and when they go to try and get more money it will be declined as the credit card details are not valid anymore. i would strongly urge you to cancel your payment card and request a new one as they will not be able to go into your account as the card details would have changed.
i really hope that works for you or anyone else who reads this

  16. Well I wanna thank you all for the immense awareness you guys have created, I have been saved , I actually wanna make an order from Nigeria. I read about the pill yesterday 10th may 2015 and just this morning am seeing all this great Infos……although I didn’t read any ones message that said he/she have used the drug effectively for a month and it worked, its just one message I read that the person had used the drug for 2days and she feels great on it…..so what I actually noticed here is that, the company havnt released this product into the mkt fully, which means it could still have some defaults……..and most outrageously , being named a free trial, a huge sum is being collected for the free trial, that’s absurd…….on this matter, pls can we get to know if it has actually worked for any one and 2ndly, let’s see how it goes if truly it works, how to make the company reduce its price tag with a strong collective effort ,either by alerting the drug agencies involved so the can get them to reduce their price tag, and give the a reason to do so cos more persons have gotten interested in it(the drug). What do u guys think abt that ? Considering the fact that I don’t know how the U.K operates their laws…!

  21. Unfortunately I was sucked into this as well! But as luck would have it, I lost my debit card, got a new one and without realising it, that probably saved me! I only saw this web site as my colleagues were joking around with me about taking the pills. I contacted them immediately (within my 14 day ‘free trial’) to cancel my subscription, but he kept on saying how I should try it and you’ll like it. I got frustrated as we seemed to get nowhere. I also emailed to cancel. Still haven’t heard anything yet. But getting a new card was the best idea. I’m still deciding whether to return the bottle or take advantage of them?

My question though would be to those of you who have cancelled, keep the pills or send them back?
    Thank you

Spoke to whoever they are via 0800-368-6101 – 1st call said ‘she’ said they’d call back in 10 minutes but didn’t . 1 and half hours later I called and started again; a new name asked for order number and was satisfied by the 7 digit ‘web confirmation number on delivery note. he gave me two RMA numbers, one for slimcleanse and one for slimdrene. The return address is PO Box Ruislip HA4-6HH. They said they’d cancel deal but would need Royal Mail tracking number – I said how do we give you that, they said by phone or e-mail to clientservices@rhinosupport.com. Lisa; did you send them back and how long since you cancelled? Did they try to obtain more than just the P & P you paid for? Have you instructed bank not to allow them to take more funds even though you now have a new debit-card ?

And thought nothing more of it.
Until I got my bank statement and found that my card has been charged £209.00.
I complained to my bank, but they said I should have read the terms and conditions, I did not see ant terms when ordering this trail buy. When I emailed the company , they came back and said I had 14 days to cancel from date of purchase. I was not aware that I was entering into an agreement for annual charges.
THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM , I am waiting for my bank to do the right thing and refund my money.
The alternative is never to buy anything on the internet.

  25. Hey, I’ve just ordered the slimcleanse for the free trial then I read this article. I’m so dissapointed that I didn’t read it first. But when I put my card number actually the transaction is not successfully done. The site said that there’s an error so I don’t know if I’ve been debited or not. Still, I’ve received an email of the confirmation of the order which came into my junk box btw. What email do you guys get from them? Do you guys only get a confirmation of order or you also get a payment confirmation as well? Just want to know if they’ve taken my credit card number account or not considering that my payment didn’t successfull.

Thanks in advance. Never trust any free trial products again that for sure.

  26. I thankfully read the ‘bumf” that arrived with my ‘free’ trial. As soon as I could I phoned customer service and said I wanted to cancel and get an RMA number to send stuff back. The customer service advisor spent almost 10 minutes explaining that I wouldn’t be charged for 14 days etc etc and I needed to give the stuff a chance etc. I just kept repeating that I wanted the RMA number and return address. I said I didn’t want to do business with a company that was underhand. Eventually I got the details and am sending the stuff back asap. The number I was given over the phone was 3 digits shorter than the one I received by email. Not sure this is deliberate so they can say the RMA number is incomplete. Anyway, I’d just say to everyone. keep your wits about you!

    • hello Cathy – I’ve had exactly the same experience as you – except I didn’t get upset with them and wasn’t 3 digits short on the RMA. Did you get charged any more than the initial P & P? Seems they do honour the cancellation; most of the trouble occurs is if you miss that apparently legitimate (however misleading or frustrating you may feel it to be !) 14 day period? I am sending mine back today …. or don’t I really need to?

    • I too saw the free trial of these pills advertised so thought I would give them a try I read all print nothing suggested that I would be charged any more money I received the pills today and on the paperwork for each it states it will cost £109 for the trial pills so for both bottles that’s £218 I am disabled and rely on benefits so I called them and tried to cancel but the gentleman said he would extend the trial to the 3rd June and they could do a deal as the pills won’t cost that much I tried to explain I couldn’t afford it but he insisted I try them and as long as I cancel by 2nd June this is a total scam I have contacted my bank and explained and they have assured me if the money is taken out it will be put back in the same day they have blocked the payments to these people I just have to watch my bank account and if I see anything suspicious then to contact them straight away. How do these people get away with this. I read every bit of print before even sending for them they didn’t just take the two lots of £2.99 either there were a couple of other charges of £0.29 and £0.59. Beware this is a scam

  30. When I checked my bank and saw the money had been taken out, I contacted my bank, cancelled my card and put a block on any further payments to them. I then googled slimdrene and using their live chat managed to secure a 50% refund on each product, because it was after the trial period had expired. So, of the £209 deducted I was able (when it happens), to recover £104,50 of it. Better than losing the whole amount, but a costly lesson.

  31. You would think that banks and credit card issuers would wish to put a stoip to what is blatant fraud before it happens. But like others Mastercard refused to do anything until after the money had been taken. Who the heck Slimdrene are I dunno, but the money side is given as hhaurr.com of Shanghai, China.
Now waiting for money back for the not-ordered “free trial” pack and subscription to a newsletter. And the bank to get a grip!

Cancel your card and get a new one. My bank rang me asking if i’d made 2 payments of over £100 each to 2 companies i’d never heard of. Slimdrene at this point hadn’t tried taking money from me but they’d passed my bank details on to other companies who had tried unsussessfully to take money from me thanks to the quick reaction from my bank

  33. I fell for this scam. Ordered my “free trial” on 4th May and saw nothing on the ad I went through about paying after 14 days. I received both the slimdrene and slimdrene cleanse but as a lot of people do, didn’t read the paperwork that came with it. Checked my bank today to find 2 payments of £104.99 each taken out on 19th. I am on disability benefits and that money was for my bills. I searched online and found this site and all the comments about this so called company. Rang the customer service number and spoke to what sounded like an American bloke. Who after a lot of arguing and saying the t&c’s were not on the page I ordered from, he agreed to cancel my subscription…I didn’t know I had a subscription….and would in good faith refund me 25% from each charge. I will be going to my bank after the bank holiday to explain to them what has happened and to cancel my card just in case.

I have not been charged the secondary sum yet obviously but i cannot afford that cost (i’m a student) so please could you advise me on what i should do next before this money is taken out of my account.

    • Just looked at my bank account online and discovered the two lots of 104.99 that had been taken out 14 days after the first two amounts of 2.99. Unfortunately I am out of the country at the moment so do not even know if the pills have been delivered to my home address nor did I see any t&cs. After discovering the money had been deducted, seeing this scam report and feeling extremely silly and annoyed with myself, I have contacted my bank and cancelled my card. My bank have told me that they have put a block on this merchant and to let them know if there is a return address for the samples. I have asked family members to see if the pills have been delivered, what the t&cs say if they have and see if they can phone them for a refund. However, given peoples response for them, I don’t hold out much hope of getting this money back! Lesson clearly learnt!!! Has anyone had any further money deducted from their account after cancelling their card or have other companies tried to deduct money too? i certainly hope this doesn’t happen!

  37. My husband signed up for this free trial yesterday on my behalf – to say I was unhappy with him is being kind! I knew straight away there would be a catch and lo & behold all the above comments. I fired off an email straight away to the company – copied this and the order they sent me and took it into the bank this morning. If your bank tells you they cannot cancel or block payments they are not being honest with you. The continuous payment authority that is being used to take this money from your account can be stopped by your bank and indeed they are obliged to at your request – once you have made this request the bank will then be responsible if any monies are taken from your account and are liable to pay this back to you, It is not enough to cancel your card – they can still get your money! The Financial Ombudsman suggest that the company should also be contacted to stop this authority however you do not need to do this but I would advise that evidence you have done so will strengthen any issues you may have with your bank later on in a dispute if it should arise. I was also sent an email from this company today with attached newsletter (it remains unopened) and they have told me they are going to charge me for this as well – again I have emailed them advising them that this is unsolicited and without my authority. I have kept all copies of mail and theirs to me advising of returns as many of you have discussed
I have to say Nat West Bank were great & supportive and sorted everything out for me within 30 minutes – hope everyone else gets sorted too! Good luck!

  39. Hello to Everyone That has Been Scammed by these Thieves.

These scammers are located in COSTA RICA, their tel, 0800 368 610,and 01273747939,return goods to Customer Returns, Ruislip,HA4 6HH, and there is also another at 204 Baker Street, Suite 004, London En1 3JY. How can a company have two return addresses for the same product? They have these numbers that are UK base, but you speak to someone else across the globe. I am maybe one of the luckiest one that have escaped these scammers. Today got my bank statement, and I see where instead them taking their £3.98 for the FREE TRAIL they took out £8.25, £4.27 unauthorized payment taken. But I did try to cancel this immediately after signing up to try their free trail, so I thought it was cancel, but obviously it was not cancel as I thought. So I rang my bank straight away to inform them of this unauthorized payment, they told my that these bastards have tried taking out £104.59 from my account but this was declined thank Heavens as there were not enough funds to pay them. I have one ADVISED to give to these who think that something is too good to be true, don’t do it. If you want to take a chance go the POST Office and some small shops sell these PREPAID VISA, and PREPAID MASTERCARD, top it up with the exact amount of money you are to pay, that mean they can’t take any more money from the card because they will be no more funds for them to take unless you go and top it it up again. You register these cards online so that you use them to may payments just like any other Debit or Credit card. I have contacted them on the matter of the unauthorized money they have taken from my account, they say they will not refund this money, but I must take the items back to the PO and have sent back to PO box address , I must send it back to them by RECORDED delivery, and call them to give them tracking number?, So after they took out my money, without my consent and will not refund my money I am to go and pay out more to send it back to them, I do not think so, I have told my bank not to authorized any money to these LOW life Scammers, so if the bank pay these people a penny they will be paying back? because I have inform them of this scam. Thank GOD in every name that is HOLY that they did not get anymore money from me. If you get something for FREE,(this was at the time printed on my receipt as £0.00 for both things) it should not cost a penny, and if you end up paying for the Product, in my case 99 pence was taken twice plus P&P, in which they came in the same package, how is possible to charge for two P&Ps and its in one package plus 29 pence for some dietary magazine of which I did not ask for) it was not free I paid for it, it’s mine. I will not be sending back Shit to them, so it can cost me more money. I will be throwing them in the bin as that’s where they belong? Actually I think I will hold on to them Watch Dog need to use our story!!!!!!!!!!! I think ALL of the people who has been affected by this should put it on WATCH Dog and exposed these Scammers once and for all. Let them REVEAL themselves to us this side of the world. I hope they ROT in Hell, for playing on peoples feelings? I hope my side of this Saga can help someone else from falling in the same trap as we did. Be careful out there.

Went straight to my building society first thing this morning & got my card canceled but there is still the possibility that they could take money out of my account even though I spoke to this foreigner on the phone this morning & cancelled with in the 14 days!!! I feel so stupid have never done any thing like this before &!have learnt a valuable lesson. Hope these bastards get caught my apologies for the language!!

  42. I also got sucked into this, I started a trail and was sent out 2 items 1of which I didn’t want or didn’t sign up to. It was only after I gave my card details and made my payment did they then reveal the small print of the subscription! I changed my card details straight away it was easier than calling the so called company and arguing over the phone.

The pills- well they never reduced my appetite they never gave me energy either! In fact I ganed more weight in the 1 month of taking the pills than I ever have in my life (I’m serious) my skin broke out in spots and iv gained around a stone. I constantly feel heavy and bloated and im very irritable. Iv gone from a size 10 to a size 12.

  45. Yep, i got stung too! No paperwork in the delivery and i had not seen anything about 14 day trial or to return the pills. Got both types and received credit card bill with 2 x £104.50 taken out! I cancelled the newsletter subscription but still got charged 0.29p even though they said it would start after 30 days. Ok to pay the £2.99 and postage of 99p each, but as far as i am concerned the further debits from my card are not authorised. Called the bank and they said they are last resort, so called Slimdrene and the guy said its past the 14 day trial, I can offer you a 50% refund and then the account is closed. Not rolling over to this rip off! Asked if i could speak to a manager, he said he was alone in a room but manager would call, could hardly understand him! He said his managers name was Enron Dryper? He apologized for the situation and i replied that I bet he has alot of apologising to do for this company and it must make him feel really bad knowing that its designed for this to hapoen, to fool people!. Feel bloody stupid and naive. And angry. I am passing it over to my bank now to get a full refund hopefully at some point. Save all correspondence and website etc as proof for their investigation. What an idiot I am!!! Grrr
