True Cleanse Complete scam report

True Cleanse Complete scam report

When looking for dietary supplements it is best that you try to avoid those offered as a trial.

These trial offers often cost more than you thought and you may find that you have also signed up for an auto ship program too.

These programs will charge your bank account every month until your membership is cancelled.

True Cleanse Complete is just one of many products offered as a trial, does it have any redeeming features or is it just like all the other auto ship programs out there?

Benefits of True Cleanse Complete

The following benefits have been claimed on the True Cleanse Complete website:

  • Flush away excess weight
  • Remove toxins
  • Increase energy
  • Detoxify your body
  • Reduce the appearance of cellulite
  • Boost your metabolism

These benefits seem reasonable and should True Cleanse Complete contain the correct ingredients they are certainly achievable, this is after-all what a colon cleanser is supposed to do.

Before we can verify the claims however we need to look at the ingredients found in the formula to see if it is as effective as claimed.

Ingredients found in True Cleanse Complete

Although it states that ‘all natural ingredients’ have been used there is no mention of their dosages.

This is disappointing as without this important information how can we tell if this supplement actually does anything?

The following ingredients have been listed:

Fennel Seed, Cascara Sagrada, Ginger, Goldenseal, Pumpkin Seed, Buckthorn Rood, Licorice Root, Rhubarb, Citrus Pectin, Acidophilus, Acai, Cape Aloe, Bentonite Clay, Aloe Vera, Cayenne Pepper, Senna, Oat Bran, Prune Juice and Flax Seed Oil.

Price of True Cleanse Complete

When you first look at the True Cleanse Complete website you may find it hard to discover the cost of the supplement.

This is because it is hidden away in the terms and conditions, which is a common ploy used by companies offering trials as they do not want you to know how expensive they really are.

Upon looking at the T&Cs of True Cleanse Complete you will discover that the full cost is $89.95, which is to be charged at the conclusion of the 14 day trial, that is unless you cancelled your membership beforehand in which case you will avoid this extortionate fee.

Is True Cleanse Complete a scam?

True Cleanse Complete is not doing anything illegal, however this supplement cannot be recommended as it costs too much, while the lack of ingredient information is a worry.

It is best that you look for an alternative in my opinion.

True Cleanse Complete alternative

If you are looking for an alternative to True Cleanse Complete there really is only one choice.

Detox Plus is its name and it available to buy without having to sign up for any auto ship program for just $31 from the Evolution Slimming website.

Unlike True Cleanse Complete, Detox Plus is unafraid to list its ingredient information so you know exactly what benefits will be experienced before you buy.

  1. I ordered the free trial through an article claiming how wonderful this was! No where did it say that I was subscribing to a monthly recurring charge and especially for $89.95 per bottle and to use in combination with Garcinia Cambogia (another $89.95 per bottle). I called within my 14 day trial and was told that I would have to call back in a couple of days to get some RMA # that the service rep would have to request from HQ. Then I am to mail the remaining pills with the RMA # on the outside and pay for tracking. Then call to confirm that they had received and counted the remaining pills then they would cancel the account. However; during this process it is likely that the trial period would have ended and they would be charging me for the remainder of the month. So, then I would have to go through the process of getting a refund! WTH!! Fool me once and ONLY once!!! Ugh!!

    • They did the same thing to me! I just changed my debit info at my bank and they can longer charge me. Lesson learned! It’s a total SCAM and the pills gave me severe abdominal cramps.

        • I ordered from a facebook link on my cell phone and there was nothing about a 14 day trial nor were there any terms and conditions. I actually ordered the garcinia cambogia and they added these to my purchase without my consent. I didn’t even have mine for 14 days before they charged my card $95 for these pills as well as $95 for the garcinia. I as well can’t find a website or the cell phone link for them to cancel, and the emails they sent do not have phone numbers or web links to cancel it. I am at a loss as to what to do. I am sure that they will keep charging my card since i have no way to cancel it.

          • I tried to cancel 2 days ago soon as i received my order in the mail, hopped on here to see all your comments and of course was upset. Anyways i ended up speaking to a fine gentleman who proceeded to tell me i was not able to cancel the order and that i would be charged a re stocking fee amongst other fees, i of course got angry and he told me i needed to keep the items and pay additional money that he would give me his manager discount of 50% to keep them which came to be 98.00 i said forget it this is against the law and ill be forced to take you to court he told me that he has to hang up on me and i can call back when im calm and able to discuss like an adult
            ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME>???!
Im calling my back tomorrow and cancelling that card. This is nuts.
I also e-mailed customer service for both companies and was told i need to call in .. ummmm hello what do you think i did already.. TOTAL SCAM

          • If you paid with a Credit Card, DISPUTE the charge with your Credit Card provider. The Dispute will prevent the charge from being processed.

            Good Luck!

    • I can’t believe this can go on in America. Is there any agency to stop this unfair practice like filing a complaint with consumer protection? They sent me the trial order. I was traveling and did not pay attention to it. Then I received an email saying that they have charged me $98- 3 times for 3 different order after the 14 days trial.. I only ordered two and they sent me three kinds – The Rue Cleanse Complete 2 bottles and the Garcinia Cambogia. It is almost $300, now I don’t even know if I should try it after reading the comments of the readers here. I did not see any listing of the price on the ad plus any auto-agreement there. I was thinking that the normal price is around $35 per bottle. $98 is way too much. Now I think I just have to cancel that credit card in order to stop the order. I am at oversea now which makes it more difficult to call. I will just write them an email of cancellation.

      • Good news. I just called my credit card company and told them about this company. They said they can block the charge of these companies from my account and file a dispute for me. They say I do not have to change the account no. So go ahead and call your bank to block them out.

    • I purchased the garcinia cambogia and was forced to get the true cleanse because there was not an option to decline. I called to cancel and was told that i cannot get a refund because it was a 14day trial and i had to call before then. I call and cancelled but then 2 days later i was charged and when i spoke to the rep he hung up on me because i was upset and i should call back when im calm. When i called back one rep said that i never called and cancelled but i clearly have emails and call records of me calling. Never again. THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM!!!!! Their customer service is horrible. Good luck even get anything from these people. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS IT DOESNT EVEN WORK.❌

  2. I ordered the Garcinia Cambogia and the True Cleanse and neither of them said on the two page ad that there’s be a re-occurring charge every month. It just said 14-day Free trial. I noticed the two $89.95 charges on my credit card…a day after they posted and at that time I went looking for scams of the product on the internet and found this page (thank God!) Going back to the ad pages I scoured them looking for the additional charges speech. It wasn’t there. You had to click a little tiny link at the VERY BOTTOM of the page to open the page with the actual costs on it. And then it took me 20 minutes by phone today to get it canceled. The guy I spoke to was very nice, and I told him, “I bet I’m the only person who doesn’t cuss at you today.”

He said, “Well, I have a very disarming voice.”

    I replied, “No…it’s only because I’m Christian.”

It took 20 minutes and two calls to talk to someone, and then he tried to talk me into a discount on the products if I stayed! I turned it down! I can get it cheaper at the health food store….I bet that call will cost me too 🙂

Fool me once…shame on you! Fool me twice…shame on me! It won’t happen twice!

  3. I decided to try it, figured wouldn’t be problem to cancel. First, I took 2 pills and almost threw up, can’t stomach them. So I called them, yes, the guy offered me at least 2 options, which I refused, but at first he told me it was too early to cancel, I had to wait until the end of the 14 day trial, I told him no, it says I have to cancel before the 14 days. He told me he needed to apply for an RMA# which could take 2 or 3 days to obtain, so I should call back in 3 days, then he said he could give me the RMA# at that point, then I’d have to call them, I’d have to pay a fee and a re-stocking fe ye, so to cancel it would cost me about $35. I told him it can’t be re-stocked as I’ve take 3 of the pills, he then put me on hold, when he came back he said he found a coupon and would be able to cancel it immediately. I requested an email confirmation which he provided. So don’t do this, it is a scam…..

  4. I would prefer the option of purchasing in store than online………..anything like this product! I would never get duped into purchasing ANYTHING like this EVER online………I believe they are trying to get a decent client base online because their product may be new, but IF they are legit and have a good product to start with then why don’t they promote it in store?! They are trying to keep costs out of pocket for theirselves low………so I don’t think their product would be worth my time buying…….ummm Primal Defense would be a way better product to purchase and any other product that GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, Walmart, or any drug store would have something just as good and effective………….people tend to be too desperate to throw their money into stuff like this that doesn’t work…………..at least not as effectively as they would like people to believe it does! I hate scammers………………

That happened to fall on a Sunday so I waited until Monday to call. They had already shipped me a 3 rd set of pills at 1 am on Sunday and charged me again. I now owe $300. To them and they didn’t even work for me!

  8. it is truly a scam… I ordered the product and did not receive package but was charged the $89. Contacted the company to let them know I was charged twice for something I did not received and they told me the only way I could receive a refund is to return the product and I explained that I never received the TRUE CLEANSE COMPLETE so how can I return it. The guy gave me a tracking number so I contacted the post office and there was no way it could be tracked because it was sent regular mail so I contacted the company back and they told me all they could do is give me 25% of my money back, therefore I had to contact my bank to stop the recurring billing and filed a fraudulent report in order to get my refund…DO NOT DO IT, it is truly a scam

  10. As documented in the above posts, the company that sells Garcinia Cambogia hea and TrueCleanse Complete with a company name of PVN, LLC out of Torrance , CA 90503 is a complete fraud. They send you a FREE trial for shipping of 3.95 and 4.96 and then two weeks later charge you $93.87 and $94.89 for the product you just received for free. I received no emails to be able to login to an account and cancel the product. Once they have you, they can keep on charging you month after month. I have been told I am getting a full refund, but have canceled the credit card at my bank so they can’t stick it to me again. These companies make me sick; the products have caused me to break out in a rash all over my abdomen; their response was I shouldn’t take it with food.

    • Part 2: On 4/7/15 Charged to my debit card: 1)GC Ultra $94.89 2)GC Max $93.87. On 4/22/15 1) GCULTRA $98.84 &2) GCMAX $98.83 I called on 4/6 and spoke to Justin, who said he couldn’t find anything that was linked to my zip code or my order number. I wanted to stop the orders, so he hung up on me. I called the 2nd number, spike to Adrian who also couldn’t find my order. I told both of them although I didn’t place an order that I needed a refund, so Adrian hung up on me. I called 3 ×/day for 4 days. I finally got through to Adrian on 4/22 who found my customer number and transferred me to a manager, Steven, who gave me 2 options 1) It would take 2-3 days to get an RMA#, and they would refund 50% of each bottle from the 4/22 order. 2) He would give me the RMA# now (which didn’t make any sense) but would have to charge me a 15% restocking fee. When I told him that this sounded like fraud, he told me that I didn’t read the entire pages. I told him that I would file a fraud complaint with my bank and if that didn’t work, I would take the company to small claims court. He HUNG UP!! I kept documenting each conversation and am in the process of filling a fraud charge.
Part 1 : I totally faced the same issue. One, I just wanted to try these 2 products to help me with the last 10 pounds. Truthfully, I tried 1 GCULTRA at bedtime and 1 GC in the morning. I got sick! I was nauseous, and had a stomach ache.

  16. I just rec. the bottles yesterday. I called today to cancel after reading this page, not knowing I was enrolled. They would not cancel my auto shipment. They said I needed to call after the free trial or using the product for 1 week. I told them my doctor advised me against the product but that didn’t matter. I even threatened to have a lawyer call but they wouldn’t cancel. After 15 minutes going in circles I called my credit card company. They called back on the line with me to help me cancel. It worked. After they tried and tried to tell me that I had to send the product back first and that they had to request the return number…I refused. I stood my ground and my credit card company rep did as well. My credit card company informed them that any further charges would be disputed and that they were on a recorded line. After putting us on hold they came back, cancelled the subscription for both products completely and sent a letter to my email to confirm. I highly recommend that if you ordered this and can not cancel on your own to call your credit card company. They are so happy to help you and it makes it easier for them to help you cancel before any additional charges hit. Also, if you involve them it is on record that you tried to cancel and were refused, making the dispute process much easier and in your favor. Good luck. Lesson learned here for sure!

  18. I was ordering another weight loss product when this one popped up saying most customers buy it to use with it and I accidentally clicked on it and it ordered it for me! A few minutes later I called the customer service and asked to cancel and the lady Jennifer told me I would have to wait 24 hours to cancel and I told her I don’t even want it shipped! After going through the hole spill that they have to read u and being put on several holds, and telling me she was the highest person that I could talk to I told her I would like to just cancel both my orders and she told me about a 48 hour blah blah blah from the human resource and then it would cost me to ship them back I finally told her I was just going to shut my bank account down if that was the only way I could stop them and she put me on hold for the fifth time came back and told me she closed my account and that I would not be charged anything…. We’ll wrong they had already charged me and added a 1.99 charge also that I don’t know what it was for and when I called back they told me I would have to wait 3-5 days to get a refund! Please don’t order a free trial it’s more hassle than it’s worth go to the store and pay the little extra! They want to make it a hassle so people will just give up and keep the product. Don’t let them push it down your throat over the phone like they did me!! Hope this helps save you all some trouble!

  19. I ordered this product on January 2nd 2015. I thought it was worth a try for a FREE trial. I did not recieve my product until January 7th 2015. I noticed on the 16th my card was charged $188.76!! Got an email saying these scammers had “CONVENIENTLY” charged $94.89 for one bottle & $93.87 for the other. I can’t even explain how angry I was. I called & demanded my $ back because its supposed to be a 14 day free trial & I was charged before it was up. This guy tried & tried to get me to take discounts & different offers even though I said NO I wanted a refund & to cancel all future charges & membership with them. He kept putting me on hold to see what “offers” he could give me. These dumb asses don’t understand what NO means. I mean if I would have known up front that I was technically paying $189 for 2 bottles of pills I can get from Walmart for $9 a piece I would have never signed up for a supposedly free trial! DO NOT TRY THIS!! It is a SCAM & you will loose $ just as others have. Fortunatle I was able to demand my full refund that they so “conveniently” charged my card.

  21. I thought I was ordering a free trial of True Cleanse Complete on January 2, 2015. Nowhere on the order did it say I would be charged 93.87 in 14 days for that bottle. There was nothing in the package it came in saying anything at all about charging me 93.87 in 14 days. It came with no invoice or any paperwork at all…just the bottle of pills. On January 18th I received this email:

“Thank you for choosing TrueCleanse Complete we are pleased to see that you have enjoyed your 14 day trial of TrueCleanse Complete and decided to keep using it. We have conveniently processed $93.87 for the bottle you decided to keep. Your order number is 287211, processed 01/18/2015 04:56am as part of the terms and conditions of the offer that you accepted. Many of our customers find they achieve the best results over the course of 3 to 12 months, depending on their overall goals.”

I was shocked because I could not find any “terms and conditions” anywhere. I sent them 3 or 4 emails demanding my money back and cancelling any further shipments. I tried calling the phone number several times and finally got someone to talk to who tried to fast talk me into agreeing to either spending $35.00 to return the unused portion of the pills using a complicated certain kind of way, for a 25% discount….WHAT??? I stayed on the phone and went back and forth with her for at least 20 minutes, she was talking so fast and I became very flustered and angry and finally I DEMANDED SHE REFUND MY MONEY and somehow like magic she did a complete 180 and said I should get comformation by email within 24 hrs of my full refund.

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS, TOTAL SCAM

I told her the whole thing was a lie, so i hope they don’t add nothing else to my card and i will demand my money also (good luck).

After reading reviews all day Friday, I sent a nasty email to them and I called my bank to cancel my debit card. They can no longer charge me and I plan to call on Monday and let them know that I outsmarted them. I hope no one else falls for this. I’m glad that I did my research and realized before I was out $180.

I let my husband try them and believe it or not he went from 264-254 in less than two weeks time. He wished I would have just given them to him in the beginning to try. Garcinia Camboga is a great dietary supplement to help cut/curve your appetite and allow you to still eat portioned meals and loose weight. I loved that it worked for him, he’s been on a roll no lie he is now down to 245 that’s just about a 20lbs weight loss in just a little less than a month. He started Jan 10th 2015 🙂 glad one of us seen results. So I would say if you haven’t fully tried the product do so.. My card did get charged however it was real simple to cancel with them. No long waits, pleasant voice, it was cancelled and the confirmation was sent to my email with no problems. I can only speak for myself and my own experience.
To all whom are concerned about it being a scam.. not necessarily, They just speak on behalf of new products entering the market… Obviously something grabbed your attention if you ordered it. Hello? IJS… anywhoo have a wonderful day..

    • Omg that’s crazy. I just receive my free trial today and hearing all of this really scare me. It’s not fair. I didn’t even know that they charge so much. And dr. Oz allow people to order these pill and not look into how the company scam individuals. I ordered this because I watched his show on it. If it wasn’t for him I would not have ordered it.

  24. Yes, I inadvertently got scammed by this company. Spoke with Andrew ext. 117 for about an hour trying to get “unenrolled” from this program. Andrew claims all of the above things stated above and refuses to give me information that will help to get me out of this. They have already charged my card $94.72 and $93.86 and I have received NO PRODUCT. He offered me a 50% refund and a restocking charge of between $35 and $50 per bottle. I have received NO PRODUCT. This is the one of the most rude telephone calls I have ever had. Finally I called and cancelled the credit card and filed a complaint against them. Do not believe that they are just speaking on behalf of new products entering the market…they are scammers!

  26. Next time use those gift visa or master card ones that you buy from CVS or Walgreens. Put the exact money that you want to use…if they try to charge those…good luck on them. If they play the game…play it too…but in a wise way.

  28. Hi, thank you so much people, lucky me I found this web-page before they would charge me the whole amounts. So, what I did is that I called my bank and requested the card to be changed. So, even if I would not be successful with them and they would try to charge me they would not. Then I called them, I was signed up with two companies so, one of them agreed to cancel without problem, they just told me that it will take for about 40-48 hours to receive the confirmation email, may be they will try to charge me, but good luck to them 😀 As for the other company I had to wait to get the operator for about 5 minutes, then he said that he is the diet consultant and that the right way to use the product is to take one pill of garcinia in the morning 30 min. before breakfast, then to take the garcinia and cleanse together 30 min. before lunch and than one more cleanse 30 min. before dinner and using them this way would give an incredible effect. With this in mind he offered to extend the trail period, I sad no, then he offered 25 % off, then his personal discount of 50% off. Then he said that I had to wait for the some number and then I had to return the product and cover all the expanses related to shipment. At the same time, this would take more then 20 days and when cancelled they would return me if I would be charged after 14 days of trail!!!!! I started to loose patience and became very cold and suddenly he got second option saying that if I would pay the price for the already sent bottles with 25% discount he would cancel the membership right away and I could keep the products… then again 50%. So, I told him to listen carefully not to me and told that I signed up to pay only the shipping of the trail bottles and there was nowhere mentioned that I had to pay for the return of the bottles, that I found the total price of the product only after I searched a lot in the terms and conditions hidden somewhere and this is not right way to treat the costumers. I told him that I would return them their bottles if they would send me the return labels. He started again, I interrupted and told him than now, I would hung up, go to my bank, show them this web-site and all the terms and conditions of theirs and everything and would ask them if I am anyhow obliged to pay anything more… He made a little pause and he said, LET ME CANCEL IT, MEM, RIGHT NOW and before I finished talking I had the cancellation confirmation in my mailbox.

People, you do not have to pay anything other than this shipment 2$ or 3$ that was on the front page with the big letters written and saying that you got your FREE TRAIL BOTTLE if you would pay only this little amount for shipment. Just be assertive and stand your ground and they will cancel it, believe me… He stopped talking about return as soon as I requested return labels… and mention bank!

Good luck! Thank you everyone who wrote before me and I hope my post will help somebody too… and just in case you are still having this product try it the way “diet consultant” advised who knows, may be he is right;)

  29. I called for the trial and received 4 bottles because I hit the botton twice. I was charged $85 to my account I called the number to cancel my subscriptions. I was told I had to get approval letter and there was a restocking fee. I hadn’t even opened the bottles. Long story short it cost about $200.00 and I closed out the card account to keep them from further having my financia information. It was a complete nightmare.

  30. I’ve signed up for the trial, and I did notice that in the terms and conditions it says that if it was not canceled before the two week trial was up, they would charge my card $92.45 monthly. Knowing that information, I went ahead with the trial thinking I wait to get it and then call to cancel the trial before they charged my card (scam the scammers!). Unfortunately, the website I ordered it off of has mysteriously disappeared, along with the terms and conditions. And, to top it all off, I have 2 more days before my trial expires and I haven’t even received my trial offer in the mail yet! So, instead I’m going to call and complain about the long shipping times and cancel my trial anyway so I don’t get charged. What a headache and complete waste of time.

  31. I agree….a total scam. Your trial starts the day you order, not delivered. And you will be charged 93.87 each month unless you cancel BEFORE the 14 days are up. No questions asked. They won’t budge. I will get my credit from my Visa company, thankfully. Don’t Do it!!

  32. I agree with everyone. TOTAL SCAM. I cancelled within the 14 days because someone contacted me trying me to add an additional supplement. Today I noticed an initial $180 charges for both True Cleanse and Garcinia Cambogia from 2/17 and another $180 on 3/4. After waiting 30 minutes to talk to someone at the phone number listed on by VISA it was a health coaching call center in Florida. They could not give me any information on who to contact for a refund and claimed I never cancelled. DO NOT DO THIS TRIAL ! ! !

    • Same thing happened to me as well. I did not see anything thing about auto refills and they charged my account twice within a few days. I called to cancel and then they charged me a 3rd time. They refuse to give my money back even if I send them the product back. This is a huge scam and their rep hung up on me when I asked for a supervisor.

  34. I too was fooled into this scam. I am a disabled vet and am so stressed out about this. Also a Christian but I may have gotten angry, it was so frustrating hearing there wrote words of first they’ll take 25% off then 50% off. I was also charge $94.89 and that times four! So they scammed me and multiplied it times four and said I am the one who clicke to the agreement. All I remember seeing was for the first month it’s only a shipping cost and then more if I decide it works. Well it did not work and gave me a belly ache, I was waiting for the bill to come in to cancel for the phone number. By then of coarse the 14 day period was over and they said they had resent out another order sop over 400.00 dollars more would be added to my credit card! I am enraged I tell you I am not a young person and this is the first time in my life I have ever been scammed. Ok so the credit card company disputed it for me then came back saying I have to write them a letter for my reasons for the dispute. I kept saying can’t you see by the bill they charged me 4 times for the same order on top of the initial scam! But they just kept repeating how I needed to write a letter to the dispute center and explain my stand. URGH where are all the intelligent honest people in our country I ask?
By the way I have spent hours on end speaking with the company and the credit card dispute people.Tonight I had to take an anti anxiety just so my panic attack would go away!

    • Oh one more thing, even though they sent me the exact same product twice and charged me over 400.00 dollars twice- they say they are two different companies, one from Utah and the other California. When I tried calling two supposedly different companies they both had the exact same wait music and personal answering the phones! I had to call over and over and over again to get these products cancelled and even then the credit card company says they claim I never cancelled. Which I obviously did because I called the credit card company and reported all of this two them on the same day I cancelled. Plus they stopped sending me this toxic substance!

    • I a little bit of defense of your bank, there are specific rules that banks have to follow for a dispute that are laid out by the credit card companies (Visa, MC, Discover, etc.)

For you to get all of the benefits of a dispute, you need to write a letter to your bank with the details of the dispute so they can process the dispute. When you do a dispute, the company that charged you then has a certain amount of time to respond to the dispute and then you may get a chance to respond back. This could go back a forth a few times and sometimes will be resolved by who gives up first. Generally though a dispute could take 90 days or more to be resolved and if the company can prove they have followed all applicable laws and they can document it, then you lose.

Not happy news I know but I used to work for a credit card company and was familiar with the process. Sometimes you can catch a break but I suspect this company is set up to handle lots of disputes and I bet they are good at it based on the feedback I’m seeing on this board.

Please try the dispute. I’m not trying to discourage you because the more disputes are filed against a company, the company develops a reputation and that bodes well for all of us. I’m just saying that it is a process and the outcome isn’t always clear.

  35. Oh one more thing! At first they wouldn’t even tell me where they were located and it was so frustrating since I needed to know where I was talking to to call the other state since I found their number online, before the guy said the numbers were on the bottles which I needed to squint with my magnifying glass to see!

They are rude on the phone..extremely rude and said I would have to take the product for another week before they would even consider refunding my money. The product didn’t do a thing for me. This is wrong. I hope these people get taken advantage of just like they took advantage of me and I hope they have to deal with absolute worthless customer service people just like they did to me!! They suck.

  39. I called my bank this morning to get my account balance and there is not just 1 but 2 debits from my account which I did not authorize. Over $200 which overdrew my account. This is a nightmare. The phone number doesn’t work that my bank gave me to call. I NEVER checked anywhere to have more pills sent after the “free” trial.

  40. If only I had found this before I ordered. My story is pretty much the same as everybody else’s except my charge was about 120 per bottle. I was given a 25% discount the first time I called in if I would continue the trial. When I called back to cancel they tried to talk me down to 60% off.

What really irked me was that when I was charged, I assumed (stupid me) that the charge was for my next shipment. Instead they told me when I cancelled that the charge was for my first shipment (which is what I thought I paid for with the trial).

I looked these folks up with the BBB and see that they only have 3 complaints (including the one I filed). Granted, it took me some searching to figure out that I was dealing with a company called PuraVida Nutrients LLC but I would highly recommend that everybody submit a BBB complaint for this company and their deceptive business practices. It might be worth reporting this to Consumer Reports as they will advocate for change in laws if this is reported enough.

Make me have to check a box before I agree to terms and conditions that I can’t find later. Heck, I couldn’t even find a place to review the terms and conditions again, let alone find the original ad that I had ordered from.

  41. I ordered just a trail bottle of the Natural Cleanse for S/H of $4.95. I see tht you have charged my acct for $59.52 on 7/14/15 I did not give you authorization to take these funds from my checking acct. At this time I am demanding a full refund of my funds or as the gentleman ahead of me said I will be filing a complaint.

I was cking further into my checking acct and found that there was another withdrawal of $79.50 on 7/6/15. AGAIN I am demanding a full refund

  42. It sure nice to know I am not the only person that trust people and companies. I too fell for this.
I have been struggling with my weight for years. to Make a long story short. When this company
billed me for this “free sample” of $89.99. I got very upset because of the two words free sample.
I called my bank and informed them that I did not authorize this payment. I got my full refund for
the pills in about two weeks and I even kept what was left of the pills.
