If used within moderation then using a corset to limit your food consumption is perfectly safe, however with extensive use there are risks involved.

For instance, long term use could bruise your internal organs, damage skin and restrict your breathing.

You need to remember there is only so much space for your organs so wearing a corset limits this even further.

Another issue with restricting your food intake is that you should ensure what you are eating is giving you the required vitamins and minerals.

Reducing your food intake will obviously reduce the nutrients you are consuming too so healthier food options are required.

If you really want to lose weight and keep it off then it is time you forgot about fad diets like the Corset Diet.

Of course it will limit the amount of food you are eating, but it is certainly not going to change your mind set on food.

To keep the weight off long term you need to find out why you are overweight in the first place. Only once you learn this will you be able to take the necessary steps to change.

You will need to look at your food choices, cut out the junk food and eat a healthy diet full of fresh fruit and vegetables.

Increase your protein intake to keep your cravings low and your energy levels high.

Drinking more water will help to keep those food cravings at bay, while removing those toxins that cause weight gain.

Finally you will need to look at your activity levels. Exercise is incredibly important for any weight loss plan, with just 30 minutes 3 times a week enough to make a big difference to your waistline.
