Is Ven Cleanse a scam?

Is Ven Cleanse a scam?

With the amount of toxins present in our foods, drinks and the air we breathe it is important that every now and then that we try to cleanse our bodies.

When these toxins build up your health may suffer, with weight gain being just one side effect.

Using a colon cleanser can help to remove these toxins as they have been designed to gently cleanse your body by removing stored fecal matter.

Unfortunately not all colon cleansers are recommended as some do not contain proven ingredients, while others are offered as a trial that will inevitably leave you out of pocket.

Ven Cleanse is available as a trial, which has led to claims that it is a scam. What is the truth behind this supplement?

Claimed health benefits of Ven Cleanse

The following health benefits have been claimed by Ven Cleanse:

  • Target stubborn belly fat

It is also claimed to be all natural with no fillers or additives.

For a weight loss supplement it is strange to see so few claims being made. Let us look at the ingredients of Ven Cleanse to see if any other health benefits can be experienced.

Ingredients of Ven Cleanse

Ven Cleanse is made from a proprietary blend of the following ingredients:

Psyllium husks, Papaya, Mangosteen, Bentonite Clay, Walnut Hull Powder, Oat Bran Powder, Flaxseed Powder, Prune Powder, Aloe Vera, L.Acidophilus, Apple Pectin Powder and Glucomannan Powder.

The problem with use of the term ‘proprietary blend’ is that it simply means that it contains these ingredients but not the dosages so there are going to be doubts about the effectiveness of Ven Cleanse.

Price of Ven Cleanse

The 16 day trial of Ven Cleanse will initially cost just $4.95, however after this time has elapsed you will be immediately charged $79.95 or $109.95 if based in Europe.

You may also find to your horror that you will be charged this amount every month until your membership has been cancelled.

For those of us that do not regularly check our bank accounts you may be in for a shock if you have not read the terms and conditions of the trial.

Is Ven Cleanse a scam?

Although Ven Cleanse is not a scam, its sales tactics are dubious. There is very little information available on the website and its use of the term ‘proprietary blend’ is not going to fill many people with confidence.

Its price and the fact that signing up for the trial also means you are signing up for an auto ship program will inevitably lead to many more claims from disappointed customers claiming that it is a scam.

  1. I am so irritated with VenCleanse. On their website, they say that there is a money back guarantee on the first bottle of the two trial products, yet no one will give you any information on that. They’re only offering me $15. Also, once your products ship, they will charge you $79.95 and you can’t return them. If you try to dispute the charge on your credit card, according to their website they will see this as theft. What protection is there for consumers if we can’t return the unopened product??

    • I am in close contact with my bank at the moment about this matter and they have assured me that if I do not get a refund from them and if I have evidence that I have returned the goods that they will override the company and recovery my funds. I hate things like these I really wanted to try this but these extra charges are very annoying and irritating. I wish I never did it because its just caused a whole lot of stress and unnecessary back and forth.

  2. My daughter paid $4.95 for and then after the 15 days they charged the $79.95.
Also put through a charge of $89.97 for another trial bottle of something else. We couldn’t find any of the company information to call and complain until the bank found a phone number and they tried to talk my daughter into ANOTHER trial bottle! She said nothing would be confirmed until she replied to the confirmation e-mail. When I called they were VERY rude- did not want any part of giving a refund and hung up. They tried to say that my daughter AGREED to the RESOLUTION of another bottle. What kind of company does not give refunds to unhappy- VERY upset customers!! SCAMMERS.. that’s who. So now they want to FORCE another bottle just so the investigation will show merchandise received. It WILL GO BACK.. With a TRACKING NUMBER. They will also receive their original trial bottle back! Every legit company has sales AND refunds…That’s sales.. Not everyone will be happy with your product and you better be prepared to also refund.
The bank said the other charge was listed under CA Diet by the same vender.

      • Did not receive the product. Contacted their customer service and they said that upon returning the product, they will stop sending the product. I asked how can I return a product that I never received after two weeks?? Went thru my bank, considered it a relatively cheap reminder of scammers and closed my account as there were also a few additional charges on my account with international fees too!

  9. Does no one read the terms and conditions before buying? Its says right there that you will be charged monthly if you dont cancel before the trial, all I did was send an email they wanted the bottles back so I emptied the pills into a bag and sent them back and that was it never got charged for anything

    • Of course I read the terms! I knew it was a scam just by reading the terms! The fact that they say your trial starts when you ORDER the product and not when you physically get the pills says it all. I wonder if you work for them, your comment seems to be the only one on the companies side. Whenever a company won’t let you just buy a product, you have to get a subscription where they charge you every month? DON’T DO IT!

    • Did they charge you the 79.95 plus the 89.97 , i was and did call them they refuse to refund whole amount and said this was a trial offer of 14 days which starts on the day you ordered…by the time i ve received the order the 14 days trial refund was already finish as for what they say…call the bank going there tomorrow

  10. I also took advantage of the trial for free and pay only postage. After about 10 days I realised that they were not helping me lose any weight, so I tried to email them to tell them this and to make sure they did not send me any more product and charge me. I immediately got my email returned. Does any one have the correct email address? I used the one on the bottle – support@vencleanse.com. Thanks if anyone can help me.

  11. I just cancelled mine. here is what to do….

    call 1-877-528-3481 for Green Garcinia
    call 1-888-959-6021 for Ven Cleanse

Ask Rep for their name and Employee #
Tell Rep “NO MORE CHARGES” and you are cancelling transaction
Request Credit Card to be removed from their system

At this point the Rep will give you a cancellation # for each Product.
Ask for a confirmation email. Keep this confirmation and cancellation # safe. If they charge you again then call your credit card company and give them your cancellation #’s and the name and Employee # of the Rep who served you. Credit Card Company will then go to Bat for you and reverse charges.

    Hope this was helpful.

  12. I made a huge mistake to sign up for this ridiculous thing. I live in Canada and didnt receive the package after the trail date was passed. I called my bank they told me to call the company and try to get the product returned and the charges cancelled. Ven/Green Garcina rep said they cannot take back the product because trial period was passed. They said they will cancel the account and refund me $80 of the $169 I was charged. Feeling cornered I agreed. I am now working with my bank not to pay the other $89 dollars. I paid to be silly I guess, so disgusted!!!!!!!!!!!

  13. I have tried so many numbers and websites to no avail. I also have been conned out of money thinking I was paying for a trial bottle of both products only to find my bank accounts emptied out when you least expect it. Numbers I’ve tried tell me that they have no record of my details or order. I would like to cancel but can’t find how or where…

    • I called 1-888-548-6661 and cancelled my transaction. They offered me to return my sample or keep it for $19.95, which I opted for. Get the employee ‘s # and name and the cancellation #. I also asked to have my credit card # removed from their records. They were very nice and helpful. However I will monitor my account. Hope this helps.

      • Hi thank u I called that number and talked to a Lady Amanda, she gave me the employment disc for the ones I have. So I ended up paying 39.99 for each bottle and they cancelled my order. I know it’s not the greatest but hopefully will be charged for no more. Thank you

  14. DO NOT deal with these people. I ordered on the 23rd of April and didn’t receive product until 15th may. When I checked the usps tracking I realised they didn’t even send out until 11 days after I ordered. I never got a trial period becaus it took over 3 weeks to even receive. The company said they could ‘probably’ have extended trial if I had emailed before the items arrived. Just go to your bank. Mine knew exactly who I was talking about and said they have quite a few dealings with them. SCAM

  15. I have just been scammed as well, I noticed today that I was charged almost 230$ for both bottles, I contacted the company, they told me they couldn’t issue me any sort of refund. After some time they told me they would issue me with a 60$ refund and cancellation from their subscription. I’m seriously dissapointed, but I quess I didn’t read the terms and conditions.

  16. SCAM DO NOT BUY!

They con you into buying and then make the terms and conditions hard to find and don’t send you an email confirmation of your order and info of the conditions upon the trial purchase.

  18. I also noticed a significant amount of money out of my account and called the back and asked what the heck that company is. When I called, it was very descreet and she said, “customer service” I said who the heck are you. Don’t people at companies say who they are when they answer? The woman barely spoke English and I told her what my concern was. She said she would escalate my concern to finance and she gave me 2 choices. #1 refund me $30 or #2 send me more bottles. I said neither, I want a full refund. Well it’s past trial period. Well I didn’t even get my bottles till after the stupid trial. WTF. She also said I wasn’t charged for the ven cleanse. OMG. I paid $89 for one bottle of pills. I Would NEVER EVER pay that. That’s the SCAM right there. Bullshit. I argued forever on the phone and the supervisor was conveniently in a conference call. DONT BUY IT. the cleanse garbage. Hasn’t worked for me one bit.

  19. STAY AWAY!!! otal rip off I phoned them to cancel got put on hold waiting then got sent to a voice mail which nobody ever called me back from. I sent them am email got a canned answer and they never confirmed my cancelled subscription. I emailed them again we will see if they actually cancel. 14 DAY TRIAL is a lie you don’t get the pills till part way through and you can’t get a hold of anyone to cancel. They don’t send out any terms and conditions to read an honest company would make sure you are totally aware of all terms. Big scam lesson ed learned.

  21. My daughter made an order also online, & as soon as she entered the phone number – they were calling instantly!!!! Trying to PUSH the sales even further & highly recommended that she continue with the products after the trial to “get best results”. when i found out i tried to cancel before the product was even shipped, before any money was taken & they tried to tell me that they “couldnt access my file” i asked for a name & id # but was given “simon david” as name from a man who barely spoke English, his supposed id was 1102. I couldnt even get a manager bc he said “managers dont handle calls of any kind” what a complete crock of shit. I called my bank, the BBB, & GOOGLE to inform them all of the situations at hand & an investigation is in place. IN THE MEANTIME PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE, MONEY & TIME & JUST DONT BOTHER!!! there are many options available to us thru our local health supplements & food stores.

CDD EU Group Ltd & THI*DIETINGFORMULA – check your credit card statements!

I called my Canadian bank and they’ve labelled them a fraudulent company and are launching an investigation. They subsequently have cancelled my card immediately and have removed those charges from my card.

    • I only ordered the ‘Trial Bottle’ & got charged for it, a month later I got another bottle & thought the company had made an error as no charge showed up on my cc statement. 1 month later, another bottle no charge, next month another bottle, this time when I checked they had charged me $267.00 for the 3!! I ONLY signed up for the Trial Bottle & to add insult to injury, have used the product & haven’t lost 1 single pound!!!!

Today is her birthday and she comes home all worried because almost 200$ is being taken out of her bank. These people are pieces of fucking trash. I’m livid.
