Vital Cleanse Complete free trial scam report

Vital Cleanse Complete free trial scam report

It is an unfortunate fact that our bodies are full of toxins and waste materials that can potentially cause health problems such as weight gain.

By removing this waste material and those toxins you will be more likely to experience successful weight loss and improved health.

Products such as Vital Cleanse Complete promise to give your body a good cleanse, however there are doubts that it works with a number of complaints online that it is a scam.

What is the truth? Should Vital Cleanse Complete be avoided at all costs?

Claimed benefits of Vital Cleanse Complete

The following claims have been made on the Vital Cleanse Complete website:

  • Flush waste and toxins
  • Fast and effective
  • Powerful formula
  • Supports healthy body weight

The above claims are what you would expect to see from a colon cleanser such as this, however we would need to look at what ingredients are found in its formula before we can verify how accurate they are.

Ingredients found in Vital Cleanse Complete

Vital Cleanse Complete is said to be made from a “breakthrough new 12 ingredient proprietary VVC complex”, but there is no mention of what these ingredients are or their dosages.

Without such important information how are we expected to believe the claims that have been made?

For all we know this supplement contains ineffective fillers or even worse ingredients that could potentially cause side effects.

Price of Vital Cleanse Complete

One of the biggest issues with Vital Cleanse Complete is its price, or rather the fact its full price is hidden from view.

As with so many trial offers you will find online this supplement hides the true cost of the trial in its terms and conditions, which are in a tiny font at the very bottom of the homepage.

When viewing these T&Cs you will see how this company make their money, as although the initial cost of the trial is just £6.87 this only covers a 21 day period.

Once this trial period has elapsed you will be charged the full purchase price of the supplement, which is a staggeringly expensive £78.83.

You will also find that every 30 days thereafter you will be charged this amount again. That is until you cancel your membership to this auto ship program.

Is Vital Cleanse Complete a scam?

Although Vital Cleanse Complete have covered their payment terms in their T&Cs there is little doubt in my mind that if you have signed up for this trial you are going to feel as though you have been scammed once you realise the true cost of the trial.

In my opinion you would be better off looking for an alternative to this product.

  1. Yes, I paid just for the trail & then they took $89.12 out of my credit card account, I thought it was a one of & they would need my permission to take any more money from my account. They sent me another bottle, I wanted to canceI my order but they said it had already been shipped. I had to send it back when I received it & then I would get my money back. As I’m a disability pensioner I didn’t register the parcel, I just put on it RTS & highlighted the address, that was the 14th April. I have sent numberous emails re this & all they do is send me back automated messages. Also I’ve tried to ring a number from my mobile & I can’t get through!

    • I recently bought into one of these trials too – the Cambogia & Green Coffee. It does stuff all and I was surprised when I was looking through my statement to see two charges for around AU$80, one for each bottle. This prompted me to go back to the initial invoice I was emailed and there I saw in itty bitty font the REAL terms.
Once I realised that though, I called up the Australian number and followed the voice tele-prompts and successfully cancelled everything. They even emailed me a cancellation receipt stating that I would no longer receive or be charged for the products. This was only done recently though, so I’ll wait a month and let you know if they try to charge me again.
If they don’t, then I have to admit that for me cancelling it all was actually super easy. Here’s the number I called from Sydney: 08 7100 1730. Appears to be a WA number – just follow the voice prompts and you should be able to cancel within 5mins without having to cancel your whole credit card! If you ordered the 2 products together, you will need to call that number twice to cancel each one separately. Otherwise, it was pretty straightforward…

      • I have just cancelled after receiving the trail offer and in order to do so it cost me an additional $39.95 for each product this was the quick option. I opted for this as I could not be sure they would have received packages in the allotted 15 days in which they have allowed for returns. How can you argue with postage or prove they received it in the allocated time I would then have been charged the full price. It was pretty straight forward but will wait and see. NEVER again will i order anything on a trial bases .

        • When I clicked through to cancel, I thought that accepting the $39.395 offer, you were still accepting the ongoing charges and shipments? If you clicked through one more time, you would have received that same offer but for $19.95 which yes, is a much cheaper option that registering the shipping costs back to the states (around $50 AUD). But, when I tried to call the 1800 number I was sent in the shipping confirmation email, when I first fell for this rubbish, it continually rings out after going through the automated stuff. Also, there is not ever anything but an auto reply email from the email address. A total scam and I will not ever fall for anything like this ever again, and recommend anyone wanting vitamins or weight loss assistance to purchase their products from a chemist or health store!

        • Karen they took my 39.95 plus 2. 95x 2 and I never received my product in the mail. Its been nearly a month now. I too canceled it and even changed my credit card number. Beware everyone they making a killing out of us, free money without sending a thing to customers. Never again and when you try and call them they have a cunning way of avoiding your call to those who have canceled.

          • They are thieves and need to be reported. I canceled my card quickly beware.

          • I cancelled my subscription this morning and was told that although I have not yet received the product that I have 15 days to send it back or be charged for the bottle. I cannot find anything on their website that states the trial is not free. it hasn’t been a month yet but I was told it has been cancelled as long as return the product. Never again!!!!!

      • I cancelled on line which was simple, also mislead by the superfine print.

I did not receive the second shipments and now their website and phone numbers do not allow me to email or ring them regarding a refund.

I would not use this company again as they will not allow comments to be received by them if cancellation has taken place on line or by phone. Looks very shonky.

I called the company on a Sydney number twice 02 91912796. Though the card said Bellytonerprohelp.com I never ordered it and they had no record of my address or email….when I asked to speak to a supervisor there was none….no answers and a really dumb woman that couldn’t really spell, this scam charge is the result of free trialling the product Vital Cleanse which is supposed to be an adjunct to a Garcinia which didn’t come. Its free money for them and no result but debt and hassle for you. I cancelled my card, now a dispute form etc for the credit company has to be sent.
Cancel your card its a complete scam at your expense.

    • Yes its a scam of major prportions, but the banks dont care especially ANZ. They say they cant prove its fraud and says its VISA not us that deal with Garcinia (when i said that all Visa had to do to was google them he said that isnt sufficient as the merchant has rights!)
Only way is to cancel your card which is a major pain for you and you alone — but thats the modern world – the consumer not the corporation does all the work.
the bank wont do anything about Garcinai so others will continue to be scammed. Who needs friends like ANZ?

re: cancellation. I was concerned I would not be able to easily cancel. However, on arrival of my first shipment there is a notice inside, Use the phone number suitable to your country under Billing Customer Support, this will give you prompts to cancel, they also give you an cancellation number.

    • Hi I ordered a free trial and remember the word FREE which you don’t pay a penny. I rang the number to cancel but does not exist and I also tried emailing them which bounced back. I rang the VISA company who blocked both transactions from Vital Cleanse and Garcinia Cambogia so both companies unable to take more money. I was unaware these companies were taking money out of my account since April but having real difficulty trying to make contact with them. I live in the UK and wondered if you or anyone has the UK number for Vital Cleanse. Thanks and yes it’s a scam

      • Hi I too have had money taken from my bank account in the UK. June 9th they took £1.78 and £1.91, June 10th they took £2.56 and £2.64 and 27th June they took £57.04 and 28th June they took £50.06. I had got an email from them to say they were taking $2.77 and $2.97 for postage. I know its in $ but its not THAT much difference and its supposed to be a FREE trial. I have only just seen the money they have taken out of my credit card account. I have emailed to cancel the subscription (that I NEVER signed up for). I have demanded a refund off them. I have tried to call them but all I got was an automated message to say my subscription is cancelled and I will not be getting any more packages from them. You cant speak to anyone.
I did what they tell you NOT to do which is call your bank. My bank were very helpful and said they are going to try and get a refund for me. Fingers crossed.
My advice is to contact your banks and see what they suggest. They might be able to help you get refunds from these thieves. Good luck

If you do make an order by mistake, cancel your credit card right away, this will stop this so called scamming company from making any withdrawl from your credit card. I too went to a website to buy Garcinia Cambogia for my girlfriend and paid only $2.99 for shipping as they say in there website but the product is a free trial. Some how this scamming company Vitalcleanse withdrew money from my credit card. I spoke to the NAB bank and they are doing there best to cancel the order. I replied to Vitalcleanse email, telling them I will take legal action and warned them of sueing. They replied with an email with a link if I wish to cancell my order. This link does not exsist nor does the Australian phone number..

      • Hi Eleanor,
I rang a number from another complaints page (for the garcinia product) and was able to follow the prompts and cancel. The number is 1800156584.
However, then I discovered that I also needed to cancel the vital cleanse separately, so I typed “vitalcleansecancellation” in the search bar, entered my email address to access my order details and cancelled from there.

Just to be sure though, I have cancelled my credit card and will be re issued with a new number. Painful I know, but far less painful than being subjected to further defrauding by these vultures!!

  2. I also thought I was paying for a TRIAL of VITALCLEANSE……but was advised that GARCENIA CAMBOGIA PURE was working hand in hand and that I was offered one of this product to try as well. They not only took the amounts for both (separately) for postage etc which is ok BUT then another charge went on my account for EACH product which was not part of the original invoicing and NOW a month later I have 2 more charges of $96.60 and $84.78 against each product.
I tried to email……..then I tried to phone…..but was hung up on as soon as my identification was confirmed!

I checked my visa the day after Garcinia Cambogia Pure Select had taken $100.13 out of my credit card.
I immediately phoned the bank and feeling like an absolute idiot, explained what had happened to the bank consultant who had answered my phone call.
He advised to cancel my card and has put in a claim for me for a dispute against the $100.13 which has been taken out without my knowledge or consent.
So my advise to all is to cancel your credit card as soon as possible.

We have reported this Company to our Bank as a SCAM and in order to prevent any further funds being taken from our Visa card we have had to cancel our Visa and have our Bank re-issue another card to protect us from these SCAMS. Even Garcinia Cambodia and GC Pure are scams in the way they offer the TRIALS – they send the trial products out to arrive 3 weeks after you click on the trial offer and the next thing you know – 2 days later they have charged your Visa with amounts in excess of $96 per product. BE AWARE – do not click on their trial offers or you will be up for not just the shipping costs for the trials, BUT the full amount of their trial offers. We are reporting all Companies to the Australian Fair Trading Department in a hope that we may save others from their SCAMS.

    • This is a total scam – after paying over $67 including taxes for my initial TRIAL, I have since been billed over $360 AUD for additional products that I never ordered nor have I even yet received. I did call the number and they will reimburse me $85.05. As for the vital cleanse this is also apparently another company and the number they gave me was incorrect. I have had to cancel my credit card so they stop taking money out. It means my initial trial actually cost me for the 2 x products over $250 and I have now had more deducted this month $218 and I have not even received them. Would be interested how you got on with Australian Fair Trade as they are deducting monies every month and no products received since my trial pack in February.

  9. I’ve just realised that I fell for the scam! I looked at all the paperwork that came and underneath a bit about ‘committing friendly fraud’ there is a website address for myeasycancel.com – go there to cancel your accounts, you’ll have to do it twice once for Garcinia Pure Select and once for Vital Cleanse. You’ll be asked to make a choice, select more options until you get offered to pay $19.95 for what you’ve received, they’ll charge your credit card for that and apparently that’s it!! I’ll wait and see if this is true

    • May I ask, where did these charges come from. Was it Vital Cleanse or was it from elsewhere. In my case, I was inundated with billings from 4 Companies in China. About 30 charges. And what really surprised me was that I had not given my card to them.
I reviewed the website filling in some information as I went but never my credit card. As I neared the end I had looked at Vital Cleanse and Garcinia Cambogia. I looked at the pricing that was finally available and did not want anything to do with it. I tryed back-up, I looked for a decline button etc. There was nothing to shut this down. It wanted my credit card. I did NOT enter it and just closed the window and shut my computer down.
Two samples cam in the mail and I received phone calls asking for my card number. I refused and told them I did not want it. Then I ignored them. It was then that the Chinese billings started. I went to the bank, filed a fraud claim, and cancelled the card.

  21. Like everyone else I have been caught by this scam.
I was able to cancel the Garcinia Pure Select on line, and then rang the Australian number
1800187656, which went through to the US. She confirmed the cancellation, and also said in lieu of returning the product she would credit my card with 50% of the cost (that was today – no guarantee this will occur.)
The lady also gave me a direct line for Vital Cleanse (from Aust) 0011 1 888 998 6218
This was answered automatically, but confirmed my identity from my phone number, and then asked if I wished to cancel. I said yes, and was given a cancellation confirmation number.
(the cancellation website doesn’t work). Deciding now whether to just cancel my card anyway.
Hope this helps Aussie scam victims.

  22. I too have been caught by this scam………….
Cancelled the Garcinia Pure Select – only getting 75% refund. That was received within 48 hours. Cancellation of Vital Cleanse was a little more difficult and I was given approval for a 50% refund (hoe lucky am I – not!)
Yes, I signed up to see what it was all about but never received any confirmation other than it had been shipped let alone that it was an ongoing monthly supply and charge.
These tablets have not worked and the information is very conflicting – in fact I have put on weight since taking them…………
I too will now be discussing my options with the bank regarding the safety of my credit cards.

  24. TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

I am following up on an email that I sent to you yesterday which flicked back to my inbox as undelivered.

I would like to advise that I have lodged a complaint with my bank that I did not authorise this payment. The offer I accepted was a free trial!!

Your company has debited my bank account with $102 & $90 plus conversion rates when I have not authorised you to do this. I have had to cancel my card which is very inconvenient. I would like a full refund as a matter of urgency. This is a scam and very unfair.

    • Cheryl, you need to be sending these complaints to Vital Cleanse, as mentioned previously this is purely a review. This website is not associated with that product and does not endorse any trial offer.

    • SCAM for sure, I started getting suspicious when my order took 4 weeks to arrive, I too emailed them saying it was a scam which came back undelivered. Luckily for me I check my Visa statements requently as there are so many scams, and I too have been charged for all sorts of things, rang my Bank emediately to cancel my Card which is such a hassle, and reported the scam to the Fraud squad at Westpac and they were able to intercept the same day transaction so been able to get my money back. Really angry that these companies are able to get away with it. My bank manager has been advised about the Vital Cleanse Complete so hopefully they will get suspicious when they see all the withdrawals they are making. Anyway hopefully all our feedback will make people aware.

  27. Unfortunately I too only googled this product after receiving the Vital Cleanse complete and seeing the little note about committing friendly fraud. I had never received that before so was a bit concerned. Pity they don’t send a note to say what they are actually going to do and how much this is going to cost if you don’t cancel. Thankfully I have only been duped out of $70 AUD so far. As soon as I read all this I rang them and gave them a piece of my mind. All he could say was send the product back and you won’t be charged. Obviously has a script in front on him and wasn’t allowed to say anything else. I then cancelled both products at a charge of $19.95 USD each. I rang the bank and she said if I had cancelled and been charged the $19.95 USD for each product there will not be any more charges. I hope she is right. She also told me to contact the ACCC as if they get enough complaints about this site the ACCC will look into and close it down. I have now done just that and I advise anyone else who has been a little stupid like me (and it seems there are a lot of us) to do the same. They need to be shut down.

Please please be very careful. You don’t want to be in the same boat as me. I will keep fighting until I get all my money back, but it will be a long process.

I have been speaking – no – absolutely yelling – at these people for three weeks now. Accounts have been cancelled it seems – but I still received one bottle of product which I returned to sender – I should have put the U number on it so have been told I will be charged the full amount.
Argued, abused told one guy what they could do to their mother – he then said I could have it at a one time offer of $19.99 – yay! Told him once again I was not paying for a product that I have returned. And fancy – seeing I am such a valued customer I was given a one off last offer of $5 – yippee! Asked him if he would take it down to $1 but he seemed a little offended at that.

Called them again today – both numbers don’t forget! – and told that there would be no more charges, I would not be charged for the returned product and both my accounts were cancelled. Yep – we’ll see! The joke’s on me…..

  71. I now know that this is clearly a scam. The credit card companies bear some of the blame, it shouldn’t be possible to be debited for anything that isn’t clearly set out. Another new scam is to be debited automatically for a membership renewal or for the renewal of computer software such as computer virus protection. Consumers should only be liable for amounts that they have clearly agreed to. If an organisation wants me to pay for a renewal then they should get me to authorise it on every such occasion. I believe the above scam people are referring to is a creative extension of what other organisations are doing where consumers are being tricked into a sequence of payments and the credit card companies should put a stop to it.

I have also lodged a complaint with the ACCC – I should not be paying to cancel a subscription and to keep a ‘free’ trial. I included all their websites I could find. Apologies if I am not allowed to, but I also submitted this website with the complaint so they could be aware of everyone who has been scammed! 74. As with all other that have posted here, I was the same. I thought I had signed up for a “trial”; then next thing my card was debited $104 in January. I called the same day I noticed the payment had come out and cancelled the account. Now in March, again, another payment has come out. I called the 1800 number and they told me that they would not refund until I had shown them proof of cancellation via an email that I was supposed to have received. I told them that I didn’t get an email, nothing was said about an email being received. I called the 1800 number and cancelled it over the phone, I was told that it was cancelled. After about 10 minutes of going round in circles, they agreed to refund 50% of the fee. NOT HAPPPY!!!!!! Also, the product that I was billed for in January, I still haven’t received (it is now March). The trial product that I did receive didn’t work, in fact I gained weight (when they claim you are supposed to lose weight). This is a complete scam. As others have said, I wish I had seen this page beforehand, and I will be contacting my bank and changing my credit cards. This is most definitely a scam and they are not very helpful when you do call.

I have just received my credit card bill and see that another transaction of $55.00NZD has been made in February of this year. I have now had to cancel my credit card. WHAT A SCAM!!!!!!!!

  81. I bought this product, attracted by the “free trial offer” Now I’ve been charged $100 on my card, which I didn’t agree to. If they are going to charge such huge amounts of money it should be in big bold letters. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!! My bank has cancelled my card and are going to investigate.
And the product is crap anyway, doesn’t do jack….

  82. I’ve also been sucked in, I happily paid postage for the 2 different products & looked forward to my free trial. Initially I was advised the order would arrive within a week, I got the trial, wasn’t impressed and stopped taking the pills and thought no more of it. Last week I found out they’ve taken 2 x full payments in Feb & again in March – a total of AU$447. I should have realised something wasn’t right when I saw the “friendly fraud” note in the package. I’ve disputed all 4 payments with ANZ and have had to cancel my card and re-set up all my usual ongoing payments. THIS IS A SCAM AND WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ROBBED. They didn’t send any product, but charged me for 2 months anyway? I cancelled my card Thursday 2 April Yesterday a product arrived, this is the order from the 25 Feb so it takes approx 6 weeks for this stuff to arrive. If I did like the product I’d have to stop every month to wait for the next delivery to arrive. If ANZ can’t get back my payment I’m going to see a solicitor.

Ordered free trial of both Garcinia Cambogia and Vital Cleanse and before these fraudsters even sent out the shipment, they billed my account 2 separate amounts itotalling over £100. Cancelled within 14 day period using the web cancellation and was informed that no further charges will be taken and no further shipments sent. Kicker is that it also says I don’t have to return anything as I have already paid for it. Don’t know how they sleep at night but karma has a way of catching up!

  88. I signed up for what I was mislead into believing was a free trial of two products Vital Cleanse Complete & Garcinia Cambogia,
Upon taking it my right hand started itching followed by swelling of the hand and fingers and a strangling sensation of my throat.
I went on line to check for adverse symptoms that anybody else had experienced when I came upon these hundreds of scam reports.
Fortunately the swelling stabilised after around a hour so and I was just left with a sore throat and puffy fingers which subsided overnight so I didn’t have to seek medical attention, but I am now faced with having to return these products back to the merchants.
I tried to cancel by pressing the easy cancel button but this also says I have agreed to purchase the product, this I did however as having read other complaints I did not want any more of these dodgy pills heading my way at exorbitant costs, I then contacted the Visa company to complain,
they agreed to block any attempts by the company to access my account but I must return the products.
Does anybody have a return address for these people as I am unable to get it from the site as it says I have already purchased the products.

  89. I got the free trial bottle about 2 months ago. In the past week and a half, I have had not one but three payments taken from my account, one for $97 Australian, one for $99 + another one for a $2.55 international shipping fee… $200 in less than 2 weeks! My bank account is now OVERDRAWN -$101.55, leaving me with no money for groceries or petrol to get my children to classes etc. I have emailed countless times, even emailed the customer service team directly after they sent me an email weeks ago, 6 emails later and no reply. I have called countless times only for it to cut out immediately and end the call. I have been to the bank and was issued a new card to stop it from happening, only for the second payment to come out 4 days later. My bank is opening a dispute to get my money back, as there was no warning or email etc to say that the money was coming out. I read all the fine print of the trial and did not see anywhere that hundreds of dollars would be direct debited randomly from my account in the coming months. I then and there cancelled my account with them just to be sure. Obviously they ignored the cancellation and went ahead with charging me anyway.
All up, this is a huge scam, I am flat broke because of this company. Irresponsible, unprofessional and I will not stop until every last cent is back in my account.

  94. I too got lured into their free trial marketing of Garcinia Cambogia which spoke volumes about their weight loss products and ordered for a free trial pack. I received two bottles – one Garcinia and other Vital Cleanse (which I didn’t even ask for). There were four transactions on my credit card and I thought that didn’t seem right but since they were for small amounts and one off I just didn’t take up the matter. However, to my utter surprise I saw that a month later they debited my credit card account of USD89.93 and USD78.83 which I did not authorise. I was shocked that a company can just debt my credit card without my authorisation. This is absolute cheating and fraud. I called them several times. The Garcinia call centre has promised to give me a 50% refund. But when I asked about the other product they said its not related to them. Then how come I received the two bottles in the same pack when couriered to me? I asked for their contact number and they provided me with a toll free number that works only in the US!!! This is a sham and hope something is done to put an end to this endless ripping of innocent people by these fraudsters.

I noticed that more charges were taken out of my account to receive the “FREE” product. so I tried emailing them but got no response then when my product arrived I called them and realised that there were other charges that would come out. the man tried telling me to wait 21 days and I noticed in the agreement that the money would be taken out after 15 days so it was a trick. I made him cancel me there and then but still he was to charge me a cancelling fee…this went from $20.00 and I said I wasn’t going to pay it. he finally went down to $5.00. but I ended up cancelling my card anyway because I was soo cross with them after reading all these reviews. the phone number that works is +448712848272

Of which only one I ordered. Both arrived in approx 2 weeks. I received a call the day after ordering asking if I would like to join their monthly offer, I declined and made it very clear I wanted nothing else to come out of my card, I did not give authorisation for any more payments. One month later and another $120 has been taken. I’ve just spoken to he bank (Anz) who have told me that giving them permission to take the first amount gives them permission to take any amount they want any time after and that it is my own fault.
Not happy at all. Am going to speak to a layer to check my rights.

  108. Call the numbers provided to you and listen, yes they are automated but they give you an option if you want to talk to someone. I am based in Australia and started to put through the free trial, then received a call so they could confirm and I advised I did not want to go through and would not authorize and debits to my account, and yet they continued and debited my card.
I am from Australia, so need to check your numbers but these are the numbers I used:
Garcinia Pure Select: 1800 156 584 Vital Cleanse: 1800 156 877 (they advise they are not affiliated, yet after I rand one I rang the other and the person was the same ….. idiot! )
Anyway get the name of the person you are speaking to and their employee/badge number. Make sure you have your details of the unauthorized transaction, the amounts … they will check their system. Advise you are recording the call and as they are representing the alleged company they are accessory to ‘unauthorized transactions = fraud.

Advise and be firm you want a full refund (not a percentage, FULL, equivalent to what was unauthorized to be debited from your account and that an email sent be sent directly after call to confirm refund and details. You should receive an email from uc.order@ultracart.com with refund details/amounts. (YOU CAN TRY THIS EMAIL TO COMPLAIN ABOUT AND PUT ALL YOUR DETAILS IN. I JUST TRIED TO SEE IF WOULD BOUNCE BACK YET DIDN’T)

The refunds will be placed to your account (ask how long will take and keep in contact with your bank: Will appear on your statement as ‘alliedwallet refund”. I received a full refund, took about a week. I didn’t cancel my card immediately as if did there would be no where for credit to go through, but kept an eye on it. As soon as credits were put through cancelled card for new reissue.

If this doesn’t work and they will try to talk you out of full refund, or say you need to return bottles, which can’t as didn’t receive in some cases. Just be true and firm. Full refund, and email forwarded with details of refund. If when you call and say you have cancelled your order, just wait as there is another option available that will put you through to someone. Say hi to ‘Mack’ for me. I wasn’t very nice but they are so frustrating.

If you feel this is not working contact your own bank advise unauthorized transactions and they will investigate for you.
Took 5-7 days for refunds but got it.
I then cancelled my card and asked for a reissue.

    Hope this helps.

  112. Hi, I recently got the trial version and only paid for the shipping and handling 3.99 and that’s all that came out of my card… at first. It was a month after and i was charged 127.64 which is an odd number. I contacted my bank and they said all they could do was to deactivate my card. I said I would try and contact the company itself. As in my bank statements it came with this number 1-805-367-4072 and that took me to the billings and charges. At first it didn’t get through and sent me to the automated voice recording. I left a voice message stating my issue and how I didn’t consent to extra charges. I later called back hoping maybe i’d get an answer, I did. A lady, with a strong eastern accent answered and asked me about my concern, I told her I would like a refund. I only wanted the trial and she understood. She said she’d give me my refund. This only happened today and I still doubt if the refund will actually come to me. If i should deactivate my card or wait it out and see if I receive a refund. I will call them back tomorrow and see.

  113. I recently got the FREE trial version after searching and finding the reviews seems okay and only paid for the shipping and handling ($2.99 and $2.83). There was a ‘friendly fraud’ message in the receipt saying to notify them if there was an incorrect transaction before notifying your bank. Three days later I got another email saying its been dispatched and I got charged for another $20.00 over two transactions. I tried cancelling it and it says if they don’t receive the product by the 4 February I’ll have to pay another $80.00. I haven’t even receive the product yet and it has to be shipped overseas! Did some further research and realise its a scam. I rang my bank and they were extremely helpful and can cancel my card straight away and I get a new card in a few days. The bank advised that there’s a been a lot of free trials scam where when you sign for a free trial and in the fine print they have used a same colour as the background where you can’t read it, you’ve signed yourself up for auto debit etc and hence they can charge you without notifying it. So be careful!

    • I too have been ripped off. I ordered trials of both products (VitalCleanse and Garcinia Cambogia) on January 10, 2016 and was not too bothered when I saw on Jan 12th I was billed twice for shipping – totaling approx 19.00 CAD Dollars. I thought they were probably added fees. No product arrived as yet but to my surprise, yesterday Feb 4, 2016, 128.00 CAD taken from my account. I contacted the Cr Card Company and they made me aware that an additional 110.00 CAD was charged at 2:00 a.m. today (Feb 5) – still to be posted. We discovered that the charges are coming from a China merchant called SHENZHEN. They are affiliates. I called both customer serv #s (1-866-281-9930 for GC and 1-888-998-6218 for VC). The Philipino voices advised that the products were shipped and I should check with post office etc. I was back and forth with them and the Cr Cd Co. Eventually the scams advised me that they have cancelled my subscription/closed my accounts and no further transactions will happen. Still to be determined… Anyways, the Card Co promised that they will stop any further charges to my acct. They actually alerted me that the business is a scam. I am not certain I will recover any money from the card co as Its my fault to sign up for trials. I am not sure I will ever receive any of the products. I am not sure too that they indeed cancelled my subscription. But I am sure the Card Company promised that they will not authorise any further charges. I am still waiting on the cancellation verification emails from Vital Cleanse and Garcinia Cambogia. The best resolution is to cancel the card account. I will do just that.

to get your trail you pay postage and sign up. then if you dont cancel for each separately they continue to charge you for the one you didnt cancel.
totally misleading. i cancelled the garcinia over the phone is the first month and i thought i was done with it. then continued to be charged $115.00 per month for the vital cleanse.
so i realized i was still getting charged so i called the australian number 1800 156 584. talk to a guy with a south African accent he tells me my garcinia is cancelled, i said well im still getting charged, he tells me you have to cancel the vital cleanse, – this is the scam because when you sign up, you sign up for both at the same time, but to cancel you have to cancel separately.
so the guy on the phone gives me a number to call and cancel the vital cleanse 1800 187 345. so i hang up from him and call this number. well and behold the SAME GUY ANSWERS, he says to me, i just spoke with you , i said well why did i have to call this number just to speak to you again!?! he says you have to call this number for vital cleanse. riiiiiiiiiiiiight……
i think hes a 1 man band (scam)
so he tells me my january shipment should be coming in the mail any day, i said well since i havent opened it can i send it back and get the money back garrentee – he tells me no thats only for the free trail.
in the teams and conditions it does not state this, it says: 30 Day Return Policy:
We take great pride in the superior quality of our products and want you to be pleased with your purchase. We believe in offering the very best value, quality and selection to our customers.

so from this unclear “policy” i assumed you would be able to return whichever current bottle you receive within 30 days. apparently not.

I was charged the shipping and handling but on my Visa the company that billed me was not vitacleanse but “SHENZHEN” the next month the same company charged me for $255.45. I called customer service twice about this “SHENZHEN” billing and asked if they gave out my info the said they didn’t and would look into it when I aksed where they were located I was told Nevada when I aske what time zone they were in they told me Eastern Standard they were obviously lying and the customer support isn’t even it the US at all. I will be reporting them for fraud to my Visa. You have been warned don’t be suckered like me!!!!!!

  130. I am also fighting heavily with this company, they are scam artists. I even told the guy on the phone. I totally regret doing this and will never do it again. I have spent my hard working hours contacting this company and was told that I can only received a 15% credit that is their policy, I basically told them to stuff it, that if my monies weren’t fully credited back to my account I would take legal action against this company. He then agreed to credit me fully when I returned the empty bottles to them which is what I will be doing, Return to Sender collect. Now just wait and see if they follow through with the credit.

    • They will debit your card every month until you cancel the card. It’s a total scam. They took $484 from my account. My bank investigated and found in my favour. Refunded all my money.

  132. wow what a scam-took up on the free offer was charged $10.OO each for vital cleanse and another $10.00 for that slender stuff. received the vital cleanse which does not work and never did receive the slender stuff. was then charged $119.63 for 1 and $104.93 for the other. was able to contact them and after threating them with a law suit the $119.63 was refunded. as for the slender stuff I never received and was told I would be charged half price. after I told them where they could shove that idea I now have my credit card company looking into this matter.

  133. I got my package and it was supposed to be trial but they send me 90 tablet. After reading your comments I decided to call and cancel and ask why they send me a whole bottle of 90 they said the trial is for 14 days and the rest would cost me $39 or so. I told them I want to cancel and send the whole bottles back. I told them all I want is to close the account as I do not want you all going into my account. They then said it will cost me money to send them back so I gave them $5.95 to close my account.
Well it’s now been a few hrs since I cancel

  134. I want my money back. I want my money back. The woman who rang me about this trial took my details then when I asked her how much she said $89 per month. I said cancel everything, I don’t want you to send anything. I can get that stuff for $20. She also said I could cancel anytime. Then you buggars sent the product anyway.
It has GELATINE in the product. If I touch gelatine I can’t breathe, I have anaphylactic reactions.
My computer went down so I couldn’t get in touch straight away.
Now you have taken $124 from my account. I WANT MY MONEY BACK NOW.
THIS IS A SCAM. It was supposed to be $89 and a 3 month trial.
I will send the capsules back if you give me an Australian address to send it to.
I will be checking my bank to make sure you give back $124.

  135. Thank you for your site regarding the scam reports.
Wondering though, surely there must be a federal police contact of sorts to recommend to these
buyers, so these fraudsters can be reported and dealt with accordingly?
It seems people are becoming increasingly devious and cunning in extracting money from people
who perhaps, are desperate to lose weight, hence are caught off guard . . .
It is so shocking what some people will do to steal the unsuspecting buyers money.
Again, thank you for your reviews 🙂

  138. Vital Cleanse Complete are a bunch of master scammers. I sent for one order , and they kept sending me orders I had not solicited. I telephoned their number on the internet and received a recorded voice. The voice said that if you don’t want further orders sent that you should press 1. I have gone through the process of pressing 1 over and over, and I am still receiving so many shipments from them that I could open my own store and start selling the product. In the meantime, they have the audacity to send a notice saying that I, the customer, could be unknowingly committing “friendly fraud”. It is time for this bunch of thieves to be shut down for ripping off the public . I am not able to tell if the product is genuine. But that is beside the point. Please tell me how I can stop the unsolicited shipments from arriving and my credit card from being deducted for product I never ordered.

  140. I also am receiving goods that I have not ordered and I had to pay customs duty of £11.03 on each of two parcels. I have made several attempts to get payment returned for both the amounts taken out of my account but have not been able to receive a penny. My bank HSBC are looking at the situation and hopefully will sort this scam out.

Yes they conned me also and as I was away (some of the time in hospital and then holiday) I did not notice the extra debits coming in on my account of $122.18, then $108.97, total $231.15 plus the so called “free trial” for which I was charged a total of $27.39 making me an outright loss of $258.54.. USA, UNITED KINGDOM (LONDON), NZ, CANADA all seem to be involved along with Australia…
