We would have to look at what ingredients are used in Yacon Root MAX before we could verify them.

Often supplements will hide this important information so there is no way of knowing what benefits, if any will be experienced.

Yacon Root MAX contains 1000 mg of Yacon Root in each serving so if used alongside a healthy diet and regular exercise then you should expect to see some promising weight loss results.

Price of Yacon Root MAX

The main issue with Yacon Root MAX is its price, which is handily hidden away in the terms and conditions.

For the 14 day trial there is a $9.95 AUD charge to cover the cost of postage and packaging.

      • Thank goodness I Googled these products. I thought I would try the trial, and before receiving these products, was charged for another month’s supply, nearly $200!! I didn’t realise I had signed up to automatic monthly payments, holey moley! Not to mention the product took longer than a fortnight to get to my address, in which I was charged during that time, without even trialling it!! Cheeky!
        I’ve just sent them an email requesting their company to confirm that I have cancelled the contract and I wish to get a refund into my bank. I will let you know the response.

          • I just called 1800 051 206 and got through to customer service. They changed my trial to 30 days and offered me a 70% off the normal price so I will end up paying a one off fee of $26.99 and $29.38. They have now cancelled my subscription so fingers crossed this is the last I have anything to do with this company.

        • What a rip off , steer clear of this product these people are ripping people off . I too had no idea that they were taking money out of my account until recently & I am furious !
          There was nothing said about the monthly payments when I bought the trial.
          I can’t afford this sort of money for a diet pill that may or may not work.

          • Wish I had read this before I ordered this product but like most people I was conned into believing this was a sample only and the next thing I was charged on my credit card for a months supply!! My daughter is at present trying to cancel this so-called contract!! Good luck to all who are trying to claim their hard earned funds back!!

        • I also have been scammed sick of having the reply emails starting with
          “We respectively apologise” what a lot of crap. I cannot believe they are able to automatically charge for something when I believe the original “TRIAL” product was never received and who knows maybe never sent at all.
          I will now never sign up for a “trial” .
          My suggestion is never sign up for anything that you are required to give credit card details unless it is a secure sight like Visa preferred/paypal who do help their customers. be warned everyone.

    • I just found out I got over charged near $400 and I have been advised by my bank to cancel my card so they could get me a refund. They also said that it is a scam and they have had many complaints. My advice to anyone out there thinking about this trial is DO NOT do it. Look for a Gym membership instead :-)

      • My bank done the same, my card got cancel and they said they had heaps pf complaints about this.. I got my free trial 3 days ago, amd yesterday they took out $200 lucky I keep and eye out… to anyone who wants to do this DONT DO IT… im going back on plexus slim, I know that works…

    • i had the same problem, i was charged $5.95 for shipping which is what was advertised… ”pay no more that $5.95″… then i saw withdrawals from my account for nearly $100! i simply rang them this evening and they have organised refunds to go into my bank within 78 hours.. they gave me tracking numbers and emails etc so forth. and they cancelled my “subscription” that i was not aware that i signed up for. call the company asap and explain your situation

      The Advert that I followed on line said try Liso & Yacon for $5-95 each as a trial – no other charges. Two weeks after they took that money from my credit card I saw two other charges. One for $92-50 and another for $100-73. I’ve sent an email to them (today) with copies of my receipts for $5-95 each and I’m waiting to hear from them.
      I’m going to my bank to see if I can stop them from taking any more money from my card and I suggest you do the same.

    • I was duped the same way. Just received my credit card statement and $97.99 and $89.99 has been charged to my credit card. So much for a “free trial”. Checked order and although it states that only charge is $5.95 per item, the extra debits appeared on my next month’s statement.

      Just called customer service and they told me that 2 further debits had been made to my credit card. An hour on the phone and they have agreed to refund 4 charges…I agree to 2 x $5.95 for the free trial I thought I had signed up for.

      WHAT A SCAM.

  2. hi, I purchased yacon root max & liso cleanse on the 27/2/14. this is suppose to be a 30day trial so why have you taken $89.99 out of my account on the 18/3/14???? when I received this product, there was no invoice to say when I had to pay. why did I not get an invoice. I now am in debit with my bank. I expect a full refund of $89.99 asap if not I will b taking this matter further.

    • Today, 27/3/14 I received my credit card statement and $89.99 was taken out without my permission and two weeks earlier $5.99 which is what I accepted for the postage of the free trial Yacon Root Max. I called 1800 051 206 number on the bottle which I believe is overseas and the lady told me very nicely that it was in the terms and conditions, BUT, she would gladly refund me 70% being $62.99 back into my account or I can return the unopened bottle and get a full refund…..so to save time I accepted with a confirmation email to follow from them.

      Apparently the terms and conditions, which I didn’t see, mind you, I am very careful to read everything, apparently, states if I call them within 14 days to tell them I am not happy then no further costs would be charged………This was the first thing the lady on the phone asked “Have I called before to tell them I was not happy with the product?”

      I am really tempted to call my credit card and tell them the charge was not authorized but for $27 I won’t waste my time, I feel a little justice in the deceit by letting you all know.

    • as ive said in 2 previous comments, long story short, same thing happened to me, i saw the withdrawals this evening, rang them straight away and its being fixed and im not going to be billed monthly (which i wasnt aware would happen in the first place) cancel it asap and order as you want. the customer rep was very helpful to me

On the 24-2-14 i received my free trial of the Yacon Root Max and Liso Cleanse,,Then on the 11th of march2014 you took $92-69 out of my account then on the 17th of March you took another $92-69 ,,i don’t understand my i have to pay for a free trial.. I would like my $185-38 refunded back into my acccount. How do i stop you from taking money out without my consent..I have not received anymore of the product and will not be ordering any future products,, i am on a pension and can’t afford it.

    • I have now been on this product over two weeks. After being scammed by them I received my 60% refund and decided to still give it a go. The cleansing tablets have not cleansed me at all. I started with the one tablet and increased it to two, it has not made a difference. I am lucky to go to the toilet two times a week! As for the yacon root max, which I have taken in conjunction with the liso cleanse, I feel bloated, my energy levels have not increased, my appetite has been the same And I have certainly not lost any weight, maybe even put some on…… It was bad enough I got ripped off, now to find the product doesn’t even work I am even more disappointed. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!

    • I got my product last Tuesday and by Friday nightI had gained weight, was bleeding badly from the bowel and couldn’t make a bowel movement! Now today (Monday) I realise my account has been swiped for the full amounts ($97.99 and $89.99) and… That they took it on Friday! That only four days after getting the product in the first place. There is no 14 day trial! They will refund only 60% of what was taken out of my account on Friday. That’s $112.78 of the total price I’ve paid including trial price of $202.96. The company name is Nutrica. Never again. FRAUD! DONT BUY.

  7. As with everyone else above I have also been scammed by this company. I called the number 1800 051 206 where I spoke to a lady who just sounded like a robot and could not speak English very well. After much debate, where I remained relatively calm, she agreedt o refund 60% or if I returned the product I would get a full refund.
    Be very careful with this. I received the product on day 14. As susy said above, she was quick to quote the terms of sale, which I never saw on the screen, and I must say I am usually very careful with these products also. Not sure how I could ever prove it was not on my screen….. If I hadn’t checked my bank account they would continue to take monthly payments outs as they would assume I was ‘enjoying their product’ given I had not called them. Usually if you do not call within the 14 trial period you will not be offered a full refund unless you obviously jump up and down like I did. I didn’t even receive my product in the 14 days so I am not sure how I could of even called them to let them know I wasn’t happy. Apparently the terms also say if you haven’t received your product in 14 days you should call them so they can extend the trial period.
    Anyway, hard lesson to learn, I hope everybody reads this feedback and knows what they are getting into.

    • I have encountered exactly the same service as this customer. I read every word under the terms and conditions and you are spot on there was no mention that charges will apply after 14 days. So don’t feel you have misread anything. I have made 3 phone calls to the Call Centre and awaiting ‘return mailing address and a refund return number, I will not accept 60 percent refund I want all my money

    • I called on Anzac Day about 2pm. When I called the first time it advised I had connected to an American number and would be charged as such. I hung up and tried again 20 minutes later and immediately connected with someone. Not sure where she was but knew Australia, where NSW was compared to qld. My phone bill may be a surprise!

  13. I have tried many diet suplements over the years, and none of them have worked.
    I have struggled with weight loss in the past but there is one thing i do that really helped.
    With the average diet you do not get enough fibre, which you need to push everything through.
    Basically I bought psyllium husks, and slippery elm powder (you can get them from any health food store)- mix them both together in a glass of water before breakfast and dinner and i guarantee you will see results. Mixing in seeds (flax,chia,sunflower, etc) with natural yogurt and blueberries is an excellent start to the day, gets your metabolism started and is good for energy (maple syrup in small amounts is a good sweetener for natural yogurt if you cant do it plain)
    I also started drinking black coffee as apposed to milk/sugar coffee as milk has a lot of calories, and also cut out bread (unless rye and only in small amounts, never after 3pm).

    If you have the self dicipline, cut out gluten all together. All up from following this, and also exercising a minimum of twice a week, I lost 8 kgs. – diet pills are a scam

    The only thing that I found was good for energy levels, was green coffee beans (high concentration only)

  23. Same as everyone above. Received both Yacon Root Max and Lisocleanse as trial then 14 days later was charged $100.73 for Yacon and $92.50 for Lisocleanse . Spoke to Bank and have to contact supplier advise I do not want these products as they don’t work. Feel embarrassed that I got caught but didn’t see any conditions that I had to take up offer. If no satisfactory reply from supplier, my Bank will stop further payments, however I think I am left with a near $200 debt to pay off on the pension. NOT HAPPY!

  24. I too have been scammed. I stupidly ordered the two free trial bottles after reading a story from the supposed editor of Australian women’s fitness magazine. I honestly thought this have it some validity. No free trial bottles arrived and on the 10th of May, $89.99 and $97.99 was taken from my account. My bank said they could do nothing and to contact supplier. I got the same response as most of you I would say but I refused to accept this. I did not hang up until they agreed to refund 100% of my stolen money. Had that not been the case I would’ve gone to a current affair, the police, office of fair trading, you name it. $200 to me is my kids food for a fortnight. I have been assured that the money will be back in my account within 3-5 days. Fingers crossed

  27. Unfortunately I am also a victim of this scam. Thankfully I bank with ANZ. They cancelled my card to stop any further debits. But with ANZ falcon they protect you from any fraudulent or unauthorized transactions. I put through a transaction dispute and they investigated and returned my money.

I am glad to hear that they do look into this as they told me that they would. They have put in a transaction dispute so am hopeful my money will also be returned.

    • Sophi…I ordered and then something made me research further and I found this site. ..I called my credit card provider straight away …the charges for the samples 5.95 x 2 had already gone out but they cancelled my card and reissued so no further charges could be deducted…I would definately recommend you cancel your card now….the samples arrived today but not sure if I will bother with them now.

Also, I called them straight away telling that I cannot use their product and to stop the process. They told me that they cannot stop it and I will receive the products. After, I will have to send them back..I don’t wanna spend anything more for this scam! So I think I will trash them straight away!

  29. I had a bad feeling as I was filling out the order forms for the two “free” samples of yacon and liso …. As soon as I received the emails confirming the shipping payments had been processed I immediately knew my gut instinct had been correct – scammed!!! Luckily found this site and convo thread and within minutes was on the phone to my bank (in tears) explaining the situation. They stopped all further transactions and are issuing a new card. The shipping fees have been deducted but luckily that is all. I am so thankful I rang my bank in time!!!

My husband just cancelled my credit card today after finding they took $92 for Liso cleanse and $100.39 for Yacon root on the 16/5/14 as well as the original $6.13 per bottle on 2/5/14. I only received the bottles a week ago and it does absolutley nothing at all! We tried ringing the 24/7 phone number but the message says to ring back in normal office hours (american I presume) So I emailed them today to cancel and demand a refund but cancelled my credit card just in case they continue to take out money. I will be trying to ring them again and returning what is left of the bottles and demand a refund. As mentioned by others there is nothing to say you will continue being charged when you sign up for the trial and I too read these things very carefully. Work hard in the gym and eat healthy – there is no such thing as melting fat with supplements!

  31. I’m wondering how I actually cancel everything. I, unfortunately, placed my order on 29.04.2014 and still have not even received my trail products. Fortunately, I found this site and got onto them a few days after placing my order to cancel the order/sneaky subscription.
    After talking with them, I discovered I can’t cancel my order as the product has already been shipped and I also cannot cancel until I have received the product and returned it – huh?!
    Long story short, I’m worried if I cancel my credit card and don’t return their product/s (that are supposedly being shipped and in which I’ve told them I’m not interested in) that they will forward my details to a debt collection/bad creditor type of thing. Is this likely to happen?

  33. Only received my sample bottles today, (monday) However I had four calls from the bank yesterday and eventually a real person called me back. Guess what? The bank computer noticed something wrong as I was charged over $150 from a pharmacy in Monaco. Monaco???
    Anyway the bank cancelled my dredit card, so they won’t be able to charge me any more. So, Ladies, get in touch with your bank straight away, and cancel your credit card and tell them you have been scammed

  34. I too was deceived by the “free trial”. My bank account was debited before the 14 day trial was up. I did get through on the number 1800 051 206 – the second time. The man said he will give a 60% refund, and not send any more. He also said they take the 14 days from when I ordered, not from when I got the product. I also sent an email. And cancelled my card.

The people behind this scam have been doing this for years now under different guises. 3 years ago I requested a so called ‘free trial’ of some teeth whitening products same sort of deal as this where you had two products to trial and the claim was to use them both in conjunction for better results. It all looked very authentic like the Yacon Root Max adverts but the end result was the same after giving my credit card details to these mongrels supposedly for the freight from the states they immediately took out the cost of the freight plus the monthly rate for the two products I think it was around $40 AUD each. By the time the stuff had arrived I had researched and brought up blogs of many other disgruntled customers who had been duped by the so called free trial the consensus advice was don’t waste your time trying to cancel the product just cancel your credit card immediately or the products just keep arriving and payments taken off the credit card. It seems now they are offering some kind of a refund which is slightly better than previously but the scam is once you have given your credit card details there is absolutely NO chance you won’t be charged for the product. If you think about it they may give some refunds but even 40% of $130 is $52.00 and that’s the ones who can be bothered to keep ringing that number they rarely want to answer. The worst thing is that the adverts are all over the internet on many of the most frequented commercial sites such as ninemsn etc which gives you a feeling of authenticity.Those running these adverts whether it’s teeth whitening, anti ageing cream, weight loss… or magic beans! they don’t care whether the product works or not the scam is getting your credit card details and taking payment for the so called freight of the free trial. These people must be extremely wealthy by now and it’s going to continue until someone overseas (I think their based in the US) closes them down. Let’s wake up Australia!!

    • I too have been charged $92.50 for Linocleanse and $100-72 for Yacon Root…which I did not authorise. I have been onto my bank and cancelled my credit card.

Hi guys,,,we got stung by these crooks as we’ll…$5.99 free trial and then noticed nearly two hundred out of my account three weeks later…rang them and was told we should have read the fine print…ended up with a 60% refund, it is supposed to be back in my account in seven to ten days??also got confirmation email from them canceling all future orders..(nice of them..lols ) will not get caught again by these thieves ,,,please stay well away from them and only use paypal.     I too fell trick to this product. Which is really my own sill fault. My question is though- has anyone actually trialled the product? I have not ordered pharmaceutical products online before and am a little concerned of the standard of the product.

    • I feel like a total fool to be stung by this scam. I picked up the link from the Dr Oz Website which is why I thought it was legit. There are no mention of terms and conditions etc and I will be taking this complaint to the Australian Ombudsman as well to see what else can be done to close it down. I believe this company may be Indian based as the person on the dodgy phone line was Indian. They have told me I too will get a 60% refund and all further orders will cease. I will be monitoring my account closely to see if this indeed happens.
      I am also very dubious about using the product as I don’t believe it contains any of the ingredients they indicate that it contains.
      Be interested to hear if anyone has had any success with this product doing what it claims to do.

    • I bought these products and read fine print after giving card details. Decided to give a go out of curiosity and am pleased with results! I have lost around 3 kgs in 4 weeks and feel a lot better, so much so would like to keep on the products, but not the way they sell it!
      Any ideas where you can actually buy straightout/

  39. I wish I had found this website before I too got scammed by them. I have contacted my bank and cancelled my credit card. Hopefully my bank will organise a refund for me for the payments that came out being $97.99 & $89.99
    I did get through to this fake company but it was very clear that this 1800 number actually goes to a mobile phone which continued to cut out.
    Not only that but there is no way I am going to take these tablets as they are fake.
    They claim they are made by a company called Nutrica but they are not. I have looked at Nutrica’s webiste and this is not one of their products. Not only that but the address on the container does not belong to Nutrica.
    Does anyone know who you can contact here in Australia to stop this scam and have them investigated?

    If you see the suggested page or ad for A weight loss and colon clense products called Liso Clense and Yacon Root Max, please don’t buy into it. Its a bullshit scam!

    Firstly It claims to offer a “free trial” and all you pay for is the postage and handling all claiming to be products made I the USA Which is $5.95 per bottle. So you also pay that amount twice.

    I was ok with this. Until I realised what had happened after my purchase.

    Secondly I read the terms and conditions (which conveniently are aren’t available to read unless you really go hunting for them) It then continued to say that you have just automatically signed up for the whole “Program” and after 14 days they will keep sending you this stuff and taking up to $100 straight out of your account every month!

    Totally shameless. I just read a review here on what has happened to many other hopefull people.

    Turns out it truly is bullshit so please don’t by into it because once they have your card details they will keep charging you card.

    Cleaver scam but I saved myself just in time by calling up my bank and canceling my card before they could take the full amount.

    Please share this information with people. Forget about internet based supplements!

They billed me with the full amount before my 14 day free trial even finished and in fact I had only been using it for a few days. Apparently your 14 day free trial begins from date of order. How crazy is that. To add insult to injury I didn’t lose an ounce and in fact I put on weight. Totally disgusted with this company. I will never order anything like this online again.

  44. I was suckered also into buying this product. I paid the $5.95 for each the Yacon Root and the Liso Cleanse. I found today that $89.99 had been deducted from my account. When I paid for this my gut although not good enough to let me know not to buy it, did get me to pay for it from my debit card, not credit card. When the deduction was made I went to the bank’s atm (its a Sunday) and withdrew the rest of my money just in case another amount was deducted. Now I have to contact my bank tomorrow and see what I can do. I think they can block them from any further payments. Hopefully I can recoup my money already paid.

    PS the stuff doesn’t work at all.

    • Hi I was also caught !!! Rang and told them I hadn’t ordered any more ,money had been taken out of my acc. They said they would refund me part of money or I could send it back and get full refund .I said I’d keep it and they where to refund me 112.78 .that was back early May .then couple of weeks ago realised it hadn’t been done .couldnt remember ph no.as no inv. luckily I saw all the comments on this & just rang them .got a woman ,very hard to understand ” . She checked up ,said it was just done yesterday ( refund ) apologised .said it was done now ,will be in my acc 5 working days .( can’t wait to see ) so glad I saw all your comments ,ps ,stuff didn’t work for me either !!!!

I had forgetten about it till I saw all your comments on here .Just rang them and the lady said it was done yesterday .I rang about it back in May !!! It is now supposed to be credited in 5 working days .Cant wait to see if it is .!! So glad I saw it all on here .!!! PS ,it didn’t work for me either !!!

I have had no response from the company regarding the refund I have requested. I should have known better but have not had any problem with any other company. Also the product does not work!!!!

Lesson learnt, I wont use anything other than paypal again, I signed up 3 days ago to this too…just flicked off a couple of emails and rang the 1800 number only to be put through to an American call centre (i’m in Tasmania, Australia) they stated they couldn’t cancel the subscription until I had received the product in the mail which he stated could be upto 10 days as it’ll have to clear customs….note the free trial period is only 14 days before they start charging…he has extended my trial period, not sure how long for though?? oh and then tried to sell me other products at 70% off…

    I said i’d wait 7 days then ring again, I can’t cancel the subscription or payments until I receive the trial product….fingers crossed it turns up before they start taking payments out

I am very careful what I buy on line (if anything) but got duped as when I looked up Yaconroot and Lisocleanse separately from the Free Trial advertisement, the reviews were glowing…wish I had seen this page then. I accessed the website through the Dr Oz link on Ninemsn (maybe Ninemsm should be made aware of the scam).

    I spent over an hour on the phone to “Customer Service” this afternoon and have the name of the person who after my stating repeatedly that I only agreed to pay $5.95 per product for a FREE trial, ‘said’ that the 4xcharges made to my account (I did not know about the July charges) have been refunded to my account and should appear within 3-5 business days. I also rang the bank but I am loathe to cancel my card as a number of regular debits are attached to the card and it is a pain in the butt having to reorganise them on a new card. I will call the bank back immediately if the refunds do not come through and lodge a ‘dispute’ with them. I may have to cancel my card at that point but hoping not.

  52. Hi all of the above people I got caught to but I first went to the bank and cancelled my credit card yes it stuffed me around until I got the new card I also placed a disputed transaction with the bank they are investigating it for me to try and reverse the transaction I also emailed them on
    au@yaconrootmax.com calling them a scam artist as well a thief and other words that were descriptive of their behaviour. They first referred me to their terms and conditions that I agreed to I then got about telling them that the terms and conditions should be in a place where the can be read I also reminded them it was illegal in this country to take money from an account without authorise I continually called them a thief and a scam they offered me 60%,I refused they then offered me 70% I refused they then said return the product and they gave me a return address and a promise of full refund once I gave them a tracking number this I have done now waiting on their promise to be fulfilled just keep telling them that they are scams and a thief and any other word that describes there behaviour I am also going to the bank to day to show them my paper trail which may help others get a refund as well I will also give the bank this web site for their perusal

I too have been caught by this company,I checked my bank account tonight and found that two payments were taken out,one for 97 the other 89.I called up my bank and they cancelled my card and also put it through to the fraud department.I was told I had a good chance of getting my money back.I then went and phoned up this company and spoke some foreign woman I could hardly understand.I was told the trial was from 14 days and started on the day of my order.Also,because I had called them up before the 14 days they would return 60% of my costs.This would only be $112,not good enough!These pills are extremely expensive regardless..I had no idea I was going to be charged this amount for these.I could not believe this woman asked me if I was satisfied with her help,I said to her no,I am not,I want my money back but she continued to repeat that she could only give me 60% of it back.I told her I had cancelled my card and it was now being handled by the bank.The woman told me that she could only transfer the 60% to the original bank account….I said but you cant!it’s been cancelled!Well now I am hoping my bank can get my money back.I feel like a fool,that I was sucked into such a scam and never ever again will I sign up for any of this garbage again online.I got the link through a facebook add!!!!How nice it seemed,how happy I was thinking I scored a bargain only to learn I had been ripped off just like others on here.I now have to wait patiently to see if I can get back my money through the Commonwealth Bank….if not I now have $50 to do me for two weeks.I am guttered.

  57. I got done in this one too… I just contacted them and was surprised at how helpful the lady was.. After a bread explaination the women said they would cancel and refund 50%.. When I said I wasn’t happy and wanted to speak to a supervisor she agreed to refund the amount in full.. And I made sure I got a name and an order number.. Just in case they screw around!! I’m glad I found this site otherwise who knows how long this would have taken to sort out..

      I posted earlier (2 July) that I too was taken in. Today’s the 17th and I have received back ALL of the $193-23 that they took from my credit. It’s better to ring through the day on 1800051206 and speak to someone in person. What they did was refund 60% at first with a confirmation email that once they received a tracking number for the return of their goods they would refund the other 40%, which they did. I had no idea it was then going to cost me $90 to keep the product!! I contact the robot sounding lady and after listening to a lot of rubbish, she told me I can return the product unopened and I want be charged. so now instead of costing me $5.95 it will also cost me the return postage price and I never even got to try the product!!

  62. Free trial scam this organisation have taken $200 dollars out of my bank account and I haven’t received any products. I have notified my bank who have launched an investigation. I have sent an email to the Yacon max and lisoclense cleanse web site but don’t expect a response. Not happy don’t know what else to do , cannot believe that Dr Oz promotes these scammers it should be stopped and publicly named and shamed. How many others have been ripped off by this organisation.

    • As said before. Call the 1800 number. Don’t accept anything other than a full refund. You will have to send the product back to receive it. They will offer 60% at first but do not accept that. I told them I would take my complaint to consumer affairs. They then offered me the 60% then when they received the product back they would refund the remainder.
      I took details of who I spoke with, time and date. If the refund doesn’t come through I will take the matter further.
      My elderly mother thought she was getting a short free trial. What she was getting was ripped off. Not about to let that happen!

    i got the link for this product and it sounded great albeit too good to be true. I however did see what you all claim not to have seen about how the free trial worked with auto payment being deducted monthly till you opted to cease the program. I dont know if they have added it recently or if was always there though in small print. Before I committed I went searching for reviews and came across his site which after reading will not be signing up for this product. But the details of the free trial were on what I read…..they also seem to be quite reasonable in refunding money.

  65. Hi all, I purchased Yacon Root Max and Lisocleans on 4/8/14, via a Facebook advertisement.
    I became suspicious when I re-clicked the link it came up with exactly the same words and pictures but product had changed to Green coffee bean.
    I was charged 2x$8.18 to my credit card.
    I received my Yacon and lico yesterday but wasn’t expecting to receive it!
    So before taking I did some more reserve and found this site and read all of the above.
    I have cancelled my credit card to stop them deducting the further payments which was NOT in any terms and conditions that I could find before purchasing. Thank you to those who have posted as this has saved me getting the further amounts stolen.
    I will try the products anyway and see if I get any results!

  67. Thanks for all your advice. Ii also failed to read the fine print so called the 1800 number that someone left on here and the guy I spoke to was great. I told him that I had tried them and felt awful and my Dr advised not to keep taking them. He then sent me an email confirming that there would be no further deliveries or charges and that my subscription was cancelled. I signed up for the trial and paid it, that’s fine. But it just didn’t agree with me at all. Thanks again. You guys saved me paying for and getting products that didn’t make me feel so good. Cheers! And thanks to the guy I spoke to (who I think may have been in India) as he was so helpful and I received the email notification not much longer than we hung up the phone.

I phoned customer service and told them to cancel this unwanted order and am speaking to my Bank to recover my money. You can have the unwanted tablets back as I do now want them and did not want them to start with. I was just enquiring or so I thought. They seem to have 2 lots of terms and conditions. Not happy. I called and got my 60% refund because I didn’t want to mess around with sending stuff back but NOT HAPPY! Is an understatement

    I have read most of your comments and was disappointed in myself for falling for a “scam” as you all suggest.Well I thought , I have ordered it and received it the previous day , I might just as well start using the free trial.
    I was sceptical but knew to loose weight for me entails to cut some starchy carbs as well.
    The first morning I had Oats and some strawberries and I took the supplement. By 11 am I was surprised that I have no hunger pangs, but ate two boiled eggs and a huge salad at lunch. I felt as if I had a huge meal and could not eat anymore. About 3 pm I took the second capsule and had a nice full cream milk Cappachino , and was surprised to feel energetic and on top of the world. I was not really hungry by 6 pm either and cooked my husband some salmon and sweetpotatos and veggies . I only had a very small plate asI did not feel hungry at all. by 9pm I felt I need something but was craving for something sweet and thirst quenching, and had a Granny Smith Apple and three slices of Cheddar cheese. (I have to tell you , by this time of day I would have eaten 4 slices of bread with toasted cheese, 3 cups of Cuppachino, 4Shortbread biscuits, a packet of crisps etc etc.) I drank the Liso Cleanse and went to bed at about 11 pm. For the first time in weeks I slept like a baby. This went on for the duration of the week and my Husband asked” are you loosing weight darling?” I was sure the feeling of lightness was just because I wanted so badly to see results. A week before I tried my ski pants on and was shocked I couldn’t fasten the button , now , it fastened smoothly . I have never written anything online before but THIS WAS AMAZING ! My pants was a 14 but 7 days before that my 16 Jean would barely fit! I know to drop a full dress size means you have lost about 6- kg. I Am now by the end of my second week and the Kilos melts away. I am no longer hungry and only do some walking my dog each day. I have no assosiasion with the company , or on their payroll . I am just a woman badly wanting to loose 30 kg ‘s and guys I am going to do this. ! Will keep you posted ! It seems there are also Molasses and syrup available in the Yakon Range . So who ever you choose, is up to you, All I know is , I have felt so energetic a couple of years ago and never ever lost weight so quickly. :)

People people please always read the information given, I too was about to order when i read the 30 day money back grantee i decided not to buy, always read it, and also go to your local health food store and ask them if they are going to stock the product they normally do and u pay cash then an there no charging your cc every month. Just some friendly advice :)

  74. I went for the trial of these products too. It took a couple of weeks for these to arrive. I hadn’t read the fine print which is unusual for me and went ahead to try the products as directed. No results for me. I still felt hungry and didn’t lose any weight. So I just forgot about the product, decided to cut my losses (just the postage I thought) and not bother to order any more. Then I received my bank statement and before I had even received the product I had been charge nearly $200, but I hadn’t noticed this until I was reading the statement. Further along and here is another charge for just over $200 from the same company. I tried to call and could not get through on the number provided. I then tried email and was told I didn’t have any account with the company. I then found a different email and again requested a cancellation and refund. The response was that they would refund 40% of the cost of the second payment with no chance at a refund for the first payment. When I questioned this I was abruptly informed that they were only prepared to offer me a 40% refund, no further offers. I still have not received the 2nd lot they claim to have sent, again nearly two weeks after I was charged for it. They say my account is now cancelled however will not respond to my emails and I have received no refund of any amount. Buyer beware…I am considering putting this to the media now.

    • this is a load of rubbish. have only been sent two lots of bottles but charged over &700.00 I went to my bank and put a block on their transaction. My bank has been very helpful and stated that since I have emailed the company to cancel free trail and they are still taking money from my account. &97.00 for liso and $105.00. Yocan . This is fraud.
      Please don’t believe free trials they are scams and make sure you read and understand everthing
      , I learnt my lesson first and last time I ever try a free trail.Besides this product did nothing for me.

    This is a total scam!
    Not only is the product a load of rubbish but the merchant makes unauthorised transactions on the account AFTER the order is cancelled. Report to your bank immediately for fraud.

  76. Another who has got stung. I signed up for a free bottle (only paid for postage) back in August. it arrived in September, and while I was OS in October another bottle arrived. I then saw the $109.00 taken out of my credit card twice before I realised what had happened. I cancelled it with them and notified my c/card about the unauthorised use, they chased it up but were given some BS story about their ‘terms and conditions’ and the c/card company wont do anything about it.

    Never again – and the first bottle I tried didn’t even work!

  77. I too have been stung. Like everyone else i signed up for the free trial and unbeknown to me i had signed up for the program by the time i realised what was going on and managed to find a number to cancel the program i had been stung for $600 and they have offered 50% of the last lot of charges – not good enough. They said i should have read the terms and conditions and as all of you know they were not there for us to read, at no point did i agree to the program. I am so so mad atm but not sure where to go next to attempt to get my money back. Firstly i will see if the promised refund appears in my account. I still have the pills still in the original postage packaging unopened but they wont give a full refund even if they are returned – feel really stupid for getting duped!

  78. I bought the Nutrica product too. It did absolutely nothing.
    I decided to lookup any forums out there to let people know, and found this.
    I checked my card statements and havent been charged. Thinking its probably because I used a debit card that I only add funds to when making a payment, so it would have had insufficient funds when they tried.
    Scary stuff how they can make a campaign look so trustworthy. I actually bought it as a result of another magazine’s review, but it was probably fake. Just wow
