Guardians of the Galaxy actress Zoe Saldana has recently revealed how she has managed to get back into her pre-pregnancy shape following the birth of her twins Cy and Bowie back in November last year (2014).
So how much weight has she lost?
While she has not discussed actual figures she has posted a photo of her flat stomach on Facebook, just 7 months after giving birth.
Of course this led to countless numbers congratulating her on achieving her goal.
Zoe replied with:
“You have no idea the joy and pride I feel when I read your comments saying you feel inspired and want to do it for yourself. Please continue to share, I was inspired by so many mommies around me to get back into shape because they shared their journey with me.”
How did she achieve this weight loss?
Zoe Saldana is a big fan of social media and often posts pictures for her fans doing various workouts, but this is not all that she has done to achieve her goal.
Rather than any special diet, she has instead focussed her attention on healthy eating, although like any new mother would tell you this process can be “painful and frustrating”.
Whatever difficulties she has experienced though does not seem to have affected her efforts though.
“I am determined to get my energy back and find balance for my body before these little guys start walking.”
What else did she have to say?
Zoe’s final bit of weight loss advice and probably most important was to not be too hard on yourself and to just embrace your current predicament.
“Be easy on yourself and embrace the place you’re at in life.”
“And that also involves embracing where your body is at, and just waking up every day with a determination to get to where you want to be.”
“I can’t allow that to happen because at the end of the day, its physicality, and thinking about it in a very cosmetic way is superficial, and it’s become more spiritual for me.”
So, once you learn to accept yourself, you can stop stressing and finally take the necessary steps you need to see those physical changes.
